Why do we permit the translation as ‘marriage’?

As I have posted here before, the issue in front of western courts these days should not be one of polygamy, but of Muslim marriage itself.

If a group of people want to live together in any fashion at all, who are we to stop it? How do we stop it? Cameras under the bed sheets? Clearly there are legal implications to marriage that need to be examined, but well before we get there, the question needs to be asked, ‘Is marriage in Islam in any way related to the western concept of an adult man and adult women voluntarily entering into a contract where all parties are aware of, and consenting to, the arrangement and have more or less equal recourse to the law and an exit strategy.

Clearly in Islam, this is not remotely the case. Women under sharia law are property. All laws dealing with contractual arrangements having to do with women are property deals. Women may in some cases actually choose their own destiny in some Islamic nations but that would be a privilege. Very often, women are forced into marriage for money, or to settle a debt for a father etc. As these two excellent videos illustrate, the way women are viewed in islam simply has no parallel in western societies and the sharia arrangement where a woman is transferred from one man to another should under no circumstances be permitted to be translated as ‘marriage’.

These should be looked at, and treated in the west as we would slavery. pedophilia, prostitution of children, forced sex slavery etc. An examination of this is urgent. As it is now in western nations distinctly different legal standards are being applied to muslims and non muslims, a giant step towards the implementation of a two tier system making sharia, or muslim law, dominant and the rights of the dhimmi. or non muslims resident, as secondary.

Glendale ‘honor killing’ victim, 20, just wanted to be normal

GET R.E.A.L

image5408992x Noor Faleh Almaleki just wanted to be a normal American woman.

The striking 20-year-old from Iraq, who’d lived in the Valley since she was a young girl, wanted her hair and makeup to be perfect, her clothes to be fashionable. She wanted a job, a degree and a husband of her choosing.

On her Facebook page, Noor posted photos of herself and wrote: “I am spectacular,” punctuated with a smiley face emoticon. But Noor’s father had a much different ideal for his daughter: a life in strict line with traditional Iraqi culture.

He made her quit her fast-food restaurant job and arranged for her to marry a man in Iraq she didn’t know, according to friends and family.

Finally, police say, 48-year-old Faleh Hassan Almaleki put an end to what he perceived to be his daughter’s rebellious life. Using his Jeep as a weapon, he allegedly ran her down in a parking lot Oct. 20 in what prosecutors are calling an “honor killing” to cleanse what he considered were indiscretions to the family’s honor.

Noor underwent spinal surgery and was in a coma until her death on Monday. Another woman struck by the Jeep, the mother of Noor’s boyfriend, was expected to survive. Marcella Andregg, a friend for seven years, described Noor as independent, but far from rebellious and always respectful of her parents. She said Noor just wanted to live her own life, but that her father wouldn’t let her.

“His whole persona was very controlling, very strong-minded in the ways he wanted it for her,” Andregg said. “He talked down to her very much, made sure she knew she wasn’t good enough and brought a lot of dishonor to the family.”

Meanwhile, she said, Noor “just wanted to be a normal teenager,” and later, wanted to finish college, marry the man she loved, and have children. Continue Reading →

Video on women in Islam.

Netherlands: Married at thirteen

Why did she go back to her land of origin, twice even? Altuntas: “The Dutch authorities didn’t give her any feeling of security. They had underestimated the danger and Suat felt it.”

The last moments of Suat in the Netherlands, as they could have been: a Middle-Eastern family passing through passport inspection at Schipol. Suat is almost 18. Because of her the family is remigrating. Besides her father, who remains in the Netherlands as breadwinner. What went on in Suat’s head? Half a year later, social workers don’t know whether she’s alive. The remigration took them completely by surprise.

Suat, 18 years old, has already lived an adult’s life. She had been married off, probably when she was 13, maybe when she was 15, it remains unclear if it was in the Netherlands or in her land of origin. The ‘wedding’ started off a life of rape, abuse, shelters and social help. Professionals have been discussing her case for years, and yet it went wrong. Since March, Suat has disappeared without a trace. The police is preparing a case against her husband.

In the reconstruction, Dutch newspaper Trouw met a lot of silence, denials and requests not to publish ‘in the interests of the residents of the Hague’, because of ‘the girl’s safety’ or for the sake of the criminal case. One person broke the code of silence. Social worker Celal Altuntas spoke to the paper about Suat. The police of Haaglanden responded with anger and intimidation.

Altuntas was until recently a member of the Core Team of Honor Related Violence (KEG), which is a collaborative effort of the police and other authorities. In a KEG training session, on May 14 2009, the police started a pilot with Suat’s case-file. Trouw has the text. Altuntas recognizes the story. In November 2008 he urgently advised the girl, then in a shelter, against returning to her parents. The Youth Service threw that to the winds. Altuntas heard at the training session in May that Suat disappeared.

He decided to break the code of silence within the KEG. Authorities have an obligation to secrecy but can, despite it, speak to each other in the KEG. Continue Reading →

Indonesia: Cleric cleared of sex abuse over child bride

Hat Tip to R.E.A.L   Ungaran, 14 October (AKI/Jakarta Post) – An Indonesian court has acquitted controversial Muslim cleric Pujiono Cahyo Widianto over child sexual molestation charges for marrying an underage girl, aged 12 last year. Widianto risked up to 15 years in jail, had he been convicted of the charges. Prosecutors said they would appeal the court ruling. The girl is his second wife.

After hearing the charges and the plea from the legal team of Pujiono alias Syech Puji, 43, led by top lawyer O.C. Kaligis, presiding judge Hari Mulyanto deemed the charges unclear and inaccurate, meaning the trial could not proceed.

“The defendant is acquitted of the charges and should be released from detention,” Hari told the trial at the Ungaran District Court, Central Java, which was open to the public.

Prosecutors had charged Pujiono, a wealthy brassware entrepreneur and owner of Miftahul Jannah Islamic boarding school in Jambu district of violating the 2002 law on child protection and article 290 of Indonesia’s Criminal Code on child molestation for marrying an underage girl, Lutfiana Ulfa, just 12 years old and still an eighth grader, in August, 2008.

Pujiono’s second wife, Lutfiana, and his first wife, Ummi Hani, also present in court, greeted the acquittal joyously and cried. Continue Reading →

Coptic Christian forced to surrender daughter to Muslim husband

Coptic Family Forced to Surrender Woman Rescued in Egypt

With extortion and violence, authorities pressure father to return daughter to Muslim husband.

ISTANBUL, October 9 (CDN) — State Security Investigations (SSI) forces in Egypt arrested, abused and then extorted money from a Coptic Christian for rescuing his daughter from her Muslim husband, who was holding her against her will in Alexandria, according to sources in Egypt.

Security forces also arrested 10 people in Alexandria and tortured them in an attempt to find those involved in the rescue. Authorities are preparing to make a new wave of arrests, the sources said.

On Sept. 30, they said, the only daughter of Gamal Labib Hanna called home and asked her family to save her from her Muslim husband. How Hanna’s daughter, Myrna Gamal Hanna, came to marry Mohamad Osama Hefnawy is disputed, but sources said the now-20-year-old woman was 19 and under the age of marital consent when she and Hefnawy were wed 10 months ago.

According to Egyptian civil law, a woman under the age of 21 has to have approval of her father or another male member of her family if the father is deceased. In Myrna Gamal Hanna’s case, no such approval was given.
Moreover, sources said, the woman’s future father-in-law was inexplicably allowed to stand in place of her father in approving the marriage, in violation of Egyptian law.

Later, sources said, Hefnawy and his father converted the young woman to Islam.

The sources said that the elder Hanna went to Hefnawy’s apartment on Oct. 1 to get his daughter. En route he passed a café where he enlisted the help of Rafaat Girges Habib and at least four other men.

At the apartment, Hefnawy attacked the Copts with a metal pole but Hanna was able to retrieve his daughter, who was six months pregnant. He and his wife hid her at an undisclosed location.

After the rescue, Hefnawy and his neighbors filed a report with local police and the SSI, a powerful Interior Ministry agency accused of various human rights violations. Soon after, Hanna’s brothers, one brother-in-law and his mother-in-law were rounded up, charged with abduction and detained.

According to sources in Egypt, at least one of the family members was tortured until Hanna turned himself in. Authorities also ransacked his apartment.

The sources said security forces pressured Hanna until he agreed not only to hand his daughter back to Hefnawy but also to give him several thousand dollars.

“Cases like this are very common, they happen every day,” said Rasha Noor, an Egyptian human rights activist and journalist living outside of Egypt. “That’s usually what happens when families try to rescue daughters from their kidnappers in most of these kinds of cases.”

As part of terms forced upon Hanna, he is not allowed to see his daughter unless he meets her in a police station and is accompanied by SSI officer Essam Shawky. Additionally, phone calls to his daughter will be monitored.
“Once [a woman] becomes a Muslim, you can’t get her back,” Noor said.

Hanna and the members of his family were released on Oct. 2, but soon after authorities began seeking Habib. Police broke into Habib’s plumbing shop and demolished it.

On Saturday (Oct. 3) they rounded up at least 10 people, most members of Habib’s immediate family. Security forces tortured the men, but sources said Habib’s brother, Romany, bore the brunt of the brutality. When he was released the next day, they said, his clothes and those of the others were smeared with blood.

Habib and at least four other people remain in hiding in Egypt. Sources said authorities will make a third round of arrests in an attempt to flush him out.

Worthwhile lecture on strategy for the anti jihad.

Here, at a conference in Malmo Sweden, a British fellow, ‘Alan Lake’ speaks some really important and interesting insights on how to deal with the issue of Islam in the west with our fellow citizens. He offers some things perhaps most of us know but quite a few we may not. Things ranging from not bothering to argue Koran or Islam with people. It is a loosing game and a waste of time.

On this I agree and for the reasons he states as well as for a few he does not. Once you begin to argue the rules of someones imaginary cosmology of which they are the wearer of the official funny hat, you have to lose even if you win. Robert Spencer is an excellent example of this. He knows Koran etc. Better than many imams. This will change no one’s mind who is Muslim, and precious few who are not, yet who imagine Islam to be another benign form of quaint or charming noble-savage sort of cultural practice.

To the Muslim, Spencer will remain a Jew, even though he is not, or at best a Kufar.

Once you agree to argue a cosmology based on magic and superstition with someone who is a purveyor of it, you lose. This applies to any non rational cosmology. So best left alone.

This is just one early point in this insightful and worthwhile lecture. Please do take the time to listen to it. I felt it was very helpful if for no other reason, he does warn against burning out, as well as many other important and interesting observations about this fight and its likely consequences.

Eeyore for Vlad.

Young girl kills militant in Jammu and Kashmir

H/T to Proud Kaffir, thanks for this one. Its about damn time. What is disgusting, is its a good certainty than in Canada and most of Europe, had someone done this they would be jailed rather than rewarded. Even so, I would prefer to be in a box having 12 men judge me, than carried in a box with six men under me.

From Thaindian.com

Jammu, Sep 28 (IANS) In what may be the first ever such act of resistance against militants in Jammu and Kashmir, a young woman in Rajouri district killed one militant and injured and drove away two others who had barged into her house and tried to abduct her, police said Monday.
Rukhsana, who gave up her studies two years ago after failing class tenth, was in her house in Shadhara village in Thana Mandi area of the district, about 190 km north-east of Jammu, when three militants barged in late Sunday night, police in Rajouri said.

The militants demanded Rukhsana be handed over to them, which her father Noor Hussain, mother Rashida and brother Ejaz tried to resist. At this, the militants started hitting the family members with rifle butts. This angered Rukhsana and she picked up an axe and hit one of the militants, killing him. He was later identified as Abu Osama of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

A violent scuffle ensued, in which another militant was injured and he and the third soon fled.

Police officials have commended Rukhsana’s courage, while state Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda has sent a special message for Rukhsana and said she would soon be rewarded.

“We have also provided police protection to the family,” Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajouri-Poonch range S.D.S. Jamwal told reporters.

Polygamy charges tossed; Bountiful bastards get God pass

From The National Post

Why is this man smiling? I’d bet it’s because he’s just been given a free pass to go back to the ranch, resume his duties as a Christian fundamentalist and commit a fresh batch of rapes against more young ‘brides’ with a God pass in tow. Religion1, Virtue 0.

Polygamy charges thrown out against Bountiful leaders

Posted: September 23, 2009, 3:33 PM by Scott Maniquet

Criminal polygamy charges against B.C. religious leaders Winston Blackmore and Jim Oler have been thrown out.

B.C. Supreme Court Judge Sunni Stromberg-Stein made the ruling Wednesday in B.C. Supreme Court, said Neil MacKenzie, a Crown spokesman.

Both Blackmore and Oler filed separate petitions in B.C. Supreme Court seeking to quash the charges against them.

Blackmore is the leader of the fundamentalist Mormon commune in Bountiful, B.C.

Blackmore, 52, and Oler, 44, were charged in January with one count each of practising polygamy, charges that were recommended by special prosecutor Terry Robertson — the third outside counsel hired by the attorney-general’s ministry to review evidence gathered during a two-year RCMP investigation.

The two previous lawyers had recommended that the anti-polygamy section of the Criminal Code be referred to the B.C. Court of Appeal to determine whether it breaches the constitutional guarantees of religious freedom.

In September 2006, following an investigation by the RCMP, Crown counsel decided not to lay any charges.

Then-attorney-general Wally Oppal decided a review of the matter was required and special prosecutor Richard Peck was appointed to conduct a charge assessment.

Peck decided not to lay any charges and Oppal appointed Len Doust, another prominent criminal defence lawyer, to review Peck’s decision. In April 2008 Doust confirmed Peck’s finding and declined to prosecute.

In June 2008, Robertson was then appointed by the ministry and in January he approved the charges against Blackmore and Oler.

Bruce Bawer: Ottawa Sept. 14th speech and Q&A

After literally days of editing uploading file size changing and developing cool logos for everyone with some new software I bought, I finally have the Q&A session from the night with Bruce Bawer online for all too see.

I think the interaction of the panel, of David Harris, Terry Glavin, Bruce Bawer, and Marc Lebuis is well worth the time to watch. All of these men come from quite diverse backgrounds and interests politically but have one very strong thing in common. The threat Islam poses to secular liberal democracy.

If you have already seen Bruce’s speech in Ottawa from Sept. 14th, go to the second video and watch the Q&A

Bruce Bawer in Ottawa, a review

The Freethinking Film Society, a Canadian organization committed to providing the nation’s capital with interesting conservative/libertarian films, played host last evening to the much anticipated appearance of journalist Bruce Bawer, author of Surrender-Appeasing Islam, Sacrificing Freedom at the National Library, Archives of Canada to an enthusiastic audience.

The evening opened with a thoughtful introduction of panel members by Fred Litwin of the Free Thinking Film Society, and his blog Gay and Right, and with another to Mr. Bawer from Marc Lebuis creator of Canada’s most influential French language, anti-Islamist blog Point de Bascule. Also in attendance was James Cohen, the Canadian vice-president of the International Free Press Society, a vitally important global group which defends the universal right of free expression and combats those who would threaten it. The speaking panel consisted of four members, all of which brought remarkable qualifications, specific areas of expertise and varying political partisanship– award winning journalist and author Terry Glavin; David B. Harris, former chief of strategic planning for CSIS and currently a Senior Fellow for terrorism/national security at the Canadian Coalition for Democracies; renowned author Bruce Bawer and Marc Lepuis. It was easily recognizable from the start that despite the differences in their political views, the most potent of  similarities between each of these men was a shared and cogent understanding of the very real and direct threat radical Islam presents to universal human values, and to the principle of individual freedoms.

I choose the words universal and human deliberately and carefully, as these terms reflected the basic undertone of the lecture. Each member thoughtfully reinforced the need to concentrate on the human face of this struggle, to reevaluate the usefulness of the popular concepts of left and right political partisanship we have so securely wrapped ourselves in and, to instead, abandon their usage and unite against those engaged in the furious pursuit to coerce and shift the world toward ‘Dar-al-Islam’. It is also important to understand that countless Muslims the world over do not subscribe to the prescription of submission handed them by the fascist elements that live among them. Many suffer greatly with some, bravely seeking  freedom from persecution and enslavement by this hateful and intolerant ideology. It is within this recognition the panel made clear, that we share the most common of ground, where all of us can stand united in direct and strong opposition to extremism.

Mr. Bawer illustrated effectively that we are living in the midst of a jihad most of us do not recognize. We have come to believe that the world suffers only from violent jihad; terrorist plots to murder fueled by an intense hatred of  western values by seventh century crackpots in suicide gear, self-imploding at the behest of foaming and slathering Imams in far away lands. While it is true that terror attacks happen with great frequency, a simultaneous but less spectacular attack is in motion. Far more dangerous than a street lined with bloodied body parts is the quiet jihad, the stealth jihad of the ‘polite’, bridge-building kind which is being played out in quiet neighborhoods, institutions and courtrooms across the western world. This type is patient, cunning and deceitful, culturally informed, well financed and legally savvy. Foolishly so, we are complicit in it’s advancement by both complacency and capitulation through our romantic attachment to such things as cultural-relativism, diversity projects, and multicultural policies. We have become dangerously vulnerable and as Mr. Bawer pointed out, they know it.

Islamists simply do not care which political office holds the power of the day as western legal codes are in and of themselves contrary to Islam. Left, right and the principle of democracy are man-made ‘illegal’ notions, a beyond-the-pale bastardization of the laws of Allah. These gross deeds can only be corrected by employing the scripture of the Quran as brought to the world by the prophet Muhammed in the form of sharia, the only law suitable for all of mankind.

Mr. Harris pointed to the increasing infiltration of the Islamist element seen increasingly in a vast array of institutions. Today in Canada as in western Europe, the political fascism of Islam has found a comfortable and protected footing among a variety of departments, banking institutions, political offices and inter-faith groups. His earnest call that we should insist upon the permanent crushing of section 13(1) of the HRC code received wide applause. Terry Glavin highlighted the moral bankruptcy of the feminist movement while in their staunch pursuit to defend the western woman, many routinely abandon the very same human needs asked of by an Afghan mother struggling against her male aggressors. Mr. Lepuis wondered why Imams in some Montreal mosques continue to stridently condemn Canada to a packed house of primarily second and third generation Muslims and why some honour killings are being committed at the hands of men who have been raised and educated in western nations. Each had cited circumstances clearly reflected in Bruce Bawer’s writing and each had reinforced truths found in Surrender.

Asked to review the speaking engagement given by Mr. Bawer and the accompanying guest panel, I entered the room like most other audience members. I left amazed and moved by three things:  the unflinching bravery of Mr. Bawer and his devotion to reach out to those of us who seek to understand the growing threat of radical Islam and the operation of stealth jihad; the unity, comradeship and professionalism in common purpose held by the panel members to work in tandem against radical Islam and, the realization that we are not defending western values as much as we are defending human and universal ones.

Thank you to Fred Litwin at The Free Thinking Film Society for bringing Mr. Bawer to Ottawa for such an important event. Thank you to Mr. Harris, Mr. Glavin and Mr. Lepuis for their thoughtful analysis, expertise and professionalism and to James Cohen of the International Free Press Society for his attendance. Most of all, thank you to Mr. Bruce Bawer for his courage in writing such a book of importance and necessity, one which helps us to understand the threat of jihad by way of  fundamentalist Islam.

Below, please find a video of Bruce Bawer’s excellent lecture in full. The video of the panel discussion is rumored to be ready and posted within a day or so and should be visible in this post as well, below Dr. Bawer’s lecture.

Grace for VTB:

U.K. deports Canadian wed to Welshman

MSNBC… A Canadian woman married to a British man has been deported from the United Kingdom because of a British law aimed at preventing forced marriages.

Rochelle Wallis, 19, boarded a flight at Heathrow airport on Wednesday to travel to Calgary where she will be met by her mother, who she will be living with in Revelstoke, B.C..

Wallis, formerly Rochelle Roberts, met Adam Wallis, 28, when he was in British Columbia in 2006. They fell in love and had the necessary visa at the time they married in November 2008 in his village of Pontrhydygroes, Wales.

The couple’s marriage application was filed a month before her six-month visa expired, but wedding plans had to be delayed after officials lost their passport photos.

By the time the couple wed, she had outstayed her visa, meaning she had to return to Canada and apply for a spousal visa before going back to Wales.

But Britain’s new Forced Marriages Act, which raised the age individuals could apply for spousal visas from 18 to 21 for anyone outside the European Union, was in effect by then.

The law is intended to stop young girls and women from South Asia from being brought into the U.K. against their will and forced into arranged marriages.

“Rochelle entered into this union completely voluntarily,” said CBC correspondent Ann MacMillan. “The irony is if Adam had married someone from Poland or Portugal — EU countries — there would be no problem.”

Home Secretary Allan Johnson has written to the couple to order Wallis to leave Britain or be forcibly deported, the BBC reported.

The case has caught the attention of the British media and several members of Parliament.

‘Sensible thing to do’

Labour MP Keith Vaz, who chairs Parliament’s home affairs select committee, is backing the couple.

“I think the Home secretary ought to have used his discretion which he has to allow Rochelle to stay in this country,” Vaz told CBC. “She’s clearly not a threat to national security and therefore that would have been the sensible thing to do.

“These laws were brought in to stop forced marriages — the fear people under the age of 21 were being forced to marry people just to come into the United Kingdom — this is clearly not the case,” Vaz said.

A Home Office spokesperson told the BBC the benefits of the law outweigh the drawbacks and the possibility of cases similar to Wallis’s situation.

Wallis will be able to appeal the deportation as a human rights violation after she arrives back in Canada. But due to the time and money involved in such a legal challenge, the couple is not sure they will be pursuing that option, MacMillan said.

Though the two could also move to another EU country and live together until she turns 21, their current plan is to join each other for holidays in Europe until she is old enough to have her spousal visa approved, MacMillan said.

Does god hate women? An excellent piece by Nick Cohen

A while ago, a BBC producer phoned to tell me I had written a “controversial” book. I knew that already, and gathered from the teeth-sucking sound coming down the line that she did not approve.

“So,” she continued, “we’ve lined up four guests to argue against you.”

I told her to go away — maybe I used a stronger term — and then thought about her predicament. As a biased broadcaster, she wanted to hear my book denounced, but she could not risk organising a one-on-one debate. Maybe I would have come out on top. More probably, some listeners would have agreed with me, others with my opponent, as is the normal way of things. By arranging her show to make it four against one, however, she could maintain the illusion of impartiality while creating the impression in listeners’ mind that the consensus was overwhelmingly against arguments she found uncomfortable. In the interests of “balance” and of letting “everyone have their say”, she would fill 80 per cent of the airtime with advocates of her own political position. I have watched out for rigged debates ever since. They are the surest signal the BBC dares send that an idea does not deserve a hearing in polite society.

Ophelia Benson did not quite get the four-on-one treatment when she appeared on Radio 3’s cultural talk show Nightwaves to discuss a “controversial” book she has co-authored with Jeremy Stangroom. They gave her a mere two opponents, and the presenter tried to be fair. Still, when one adversary stopped disparaging her, the other started, as the BBC flashed warning signs to listeners to ignore her.

If they missed the point, the press banged it home. The Independent denounced Benson and Stangroom “as inflammatory in the extreme”; authors who produce “torrents of invective” and “show no desire to go beyond name-calling and distortion.” The Guardian accused them of “crudeness and lack of insight”. It was “staggered anyone wanted to publish” them, and concluded that only a base desire to make money could explain the release of a “profoundly intellectually dishonest”, “hysterical” and “bizarre” work. My own newspaper, the Observer, was slightly more temperate, but not so the casual reader would notice. Benson and Stangroom were not original thinkers but had “trawled through newspaper articles”. They “splutter with righteous anger”, their style “clunky”, “hammering” and “repetitive”, their arguments “flimsy” and “deadening”.

Readers who imagine that Benson and Stangroom were on the receiving end of the fullest stomach-load of bile literary London has brought up this year because they were making the case for white supremacy or the return of the death penalty do not understand the dark turn Western thought took between the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Benson and Stangroom’s book is Does God Hate Women?, which the predecessors of today’s critics would have hailed as a feminist classic.

“So does God hate women?” it asks.

Well, what can one say. Religious authorities and conservative clerics worship a wretchedly cruel unjust vindictive executioner of a God. They worship a God of 10-year-old boys, a God of playground bullies, a God of rapists, of gangs, of pimps. They worship — despite rhetoric about justice and compassion — a God who sides with the strong against the weak, a God who cheers for privilege and punishes egalitarianism. They worship a God who is  a male and who gangs up with other males against women. They worship a thug. They worship a God who thinks little girls should be married to grown men. They worship a God who looks on in approval when a grown man rapes a child because he is “married” to her. They worship a God who thinks a woman should receive 80 lashes with a whip because her hair wasn’t completely covered. They worship a God who is pleased when three brothers hack their sisters to death with axes because one of them married without their father’s permission.

Please go to Standpoint Mag to read the rest of this excellent article.
