Jihadwatch Comes To Town.

PJG has written a guest post over at JihadWatch about Robert Spencer’s vist to Melbournistan.

I’ve known PJG for quite some time now, and we’ve attended the occasional demo together, so I’m happy to agree with what s/he has to say. Rather than rehash that, I’ll add my observations of the evening. (This is your opportunity to rush over to JW and read the report!)

NO CHRISTMAS STORY FOR DANISH KINDERGARTEN THIS YEAR, STAFF DOESN’T WANT TO UPSET MUSLIMS

Grinch dhimmis strike again

A dear friend of the Tundra Tabloids mentioned the following concerning this story, in the FPN.DK. We were both aghast at the ease in which portions of society, in the willingness to be tolerant, would so brazenly discriminate against members of its own society. KGS

NOTE: Remember folks, rejection of Islam, just the saying no to it, is tantamount to charges of discriminationa and bigotry….islamophobia.

Chipping away at the host society’s foundation, one little piece at a time, until that society finally accepts that it has no right to be different to the immigrants to whom it has extended a helping hand out of sheer naivity and well-intentioned but ultimately self-destructive sincerity.

I just don’t get it. We’re Jewish – and Zionist – and proud of both. When our kids were at school and the autumn term came to an end, there was the traditional end of term celebration in the church. It is merely TRADITION, not forced conversion, for heaven’s sake. Our kids survived, and survived very well. They are still Jewish, very much so. We have chosen to live in a nominally Christian country, where people celebrate things like Easter, Christmas, Midsummer, even Crayfish Premiere. Jews don’t eat crayfish – should we insist that the nation change its tradition to accommodate us? Absurd beyond belief.

The staff has decided not to participate in the traditional Christmas service in Lillerød Church because a high proportion of children in the institution are Muslims.

“The reason is that we have several Muslim families who do not want their children to go to church. And so we decided to say “no thanks” because we also have our everyday work,” said Susan Lund Andersen, the headmaster of “Ørnevang” to Jyllands Posten.

The decision to drop the Christmas church service causes great annoyance at the vicar of Lillerød Church who believe that the Christmas worship service is an important part of the Danish Christmas tradition.

Would amend the program
“I was upset and annoyed that they cancelled. They called and asked if I could make the program so they could participate. I always end the ceremony with the bright blessing of the children, and they wanted me to refrain from that for the sake of the children’s religion,” says Carsten Mulnæs who is the vicar.

He believes that “Ørnevang” – the institution – has taken a wrong decision because now all the kids are unable to attend the Christmas service.

“I believe that children should have the opportunity, because it is a Danish tradition. I know that the institution has a large representation of Muslim children, but I know that not all families have a problem with going to church. I think a majority of the kids will be cheated, “says Carsten Mulnæs.

It affects integration

The organization Muslims in Dialogue is sorry that the neglect impacts the children who would like to go to church.

“I think it’s a shame if it goes beyond the children who actually wanted to go to church. But on the other hand, I do not think one should force anyone to participate, who do not want to, whatever religion they belong to, “says Vice President Nihad Hodzic.

The act made Carsten Mulnæs write a reader posts in today’s edition of Frederiksborg County newspaper, where he emphasizes the church’s role in integration.

“You can not integrate into nothing. But that is exactly what we risk as with that kindergarten: Nothing. It is not respect for Muslims, but disrespect for our own history.”

The service is not crucial
The argument that the Christmas worship service is important for integration has not the great impact among Muslims in Dialogue.

“I understand that the priest gets upset that the institution refuse to go to his church, but I do not believe that it actually works against integration. Personally I have never participated in a Christmas sermon, and I do not think that it is essential for integration, “said Nihad Hodzic.

Cell phone users in Pakistan will soon be unable to send text messages including sexual terms and the words Jesus Christ, the Dawn News TV channel reported on Friday.

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) ordered operators to block texts featuring any of a list of 1,500 words in a document dated November 14, the TV station said.

“All the texts containing the words from the list, must be blocked,” Dawn quoted Anjum Nida Rahman, a spokeswoman for Telenor Pakistan, as saying.

The list of the banned words includes sexually explicit words as well as rather neutral terms like “idiot” or “fart”. The ban on the word ‘Jesus Christ’ has raised concerns about religious freedom.

The PTA’s letter said the order was legitimate according to the 1996 law preventing people from sending “false, fabricated, indecent or obscene” information via mobile phones.

The document also stated that the freedom of speech can be restricted “in the interest of the glory of Islam.”

Saudi women with attractive eyes may be forced to cover even them up, if resolution is passed

I have to wonder. Is this a plot by the Kingdom to prevent women from driving? Or to make them drive like Saudi men?

The Daily Mail

  • Islamic state fears effect of ‘tempting’ eyes on men
  • Says it ‘has the right’ to issue repressive edict

Women with attractive eyes may be forced to cover them up under Saudi Arabia’s latest repressive measure, it was revealed today.

The ultra-conservative Islamic state has said it has the right to stop women revealing ‘tempting’ eyes in public.

A spokesperson for Saudi Arabia’s Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, Sheikh Motlab al Nabet, said a proposal to enshrine the measure in law has been tabled.

FREE SPEECH VICTORY IN AUSTRIA, JUDGE RULES ANTI-MINARET VIDEO GAME LEGAL, DELIVERS FULL ACQUITTAL

Not hate speech or incitement!

The Tundra Tabloids receives word from Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff -who told the TT the she was elated about this acquittal and offers her congratulations- that SOS Österriech is reporting a major win for the Austrian anti-Islamization movement. Three cheers for the Austrians. KGS

NOTE: Styria, is an Austrian province

Show trial of Styrian FPÖ: ACQUITTAL!

The judge in her ruling declared:

“I did not judge whether the game is tasteful, classy, or ??reverent. But whether it shall constitute an act of incitement. “

“The debate over whether the building of minarets should be banned” a question that is being discussed all over Europe. ” The question was legitimate. “If a game allows for two types of interpretation – incitement to hatred or a mouthpiece for a claim – then it means that is always to choose the cheaper option for the defendant.”

“We have no crosshairs, there is no shot noise, no weapon is present, the building does not collapse. The use of the circle follows logically from the statements which we have heard.
This shows that this game has a very clear distinction to this person shooter games. “

It was “a legitimate representation of the FPÖ opinion.”

He had already read in court records that young people say that the Koran allow them to beat classmates. Therefore: “We are Herinnes probably little affected by the issue, but people in the school farms already.”

“I can still recall the statement made ??by Mr Schakfeh (in each province a mosque with a minaret), and then came the game. This is also logical that comes this way. “

“In Switzerland, no one has thought that this is a shooting game. There was no conviction for incitement. So I do me hard here to see a purpose. “

“Quite the contrary, I find that the game title in Austria is still a bit of harmless than in Switzerland.”

“In summary, based on the grounds of acquittal.”

The prosecutor appealing the decision!

He still maintains the charge of incitement to hatred and punishment and urge imposition of a fine.

We congratulate the Styrian Provincial Gerhard Kurzmann and the Swiss advertising expert Alexander Segert to this acquittal – and make it clear:

No mosques with minarets in Austria!

Group defends anti-Islamic flier given near schools

CLAIREMONT, CA (KGTV/CNN) – A religious organization in San Diego County has come under fire for passing out fliers near high schools that have a distinct anti-Muslim theme.

The two page flier is headlined “Ayatollah Khomeini Had Sex With a 4 Year Old Girl!” and blasts Islam for its beliefs.

Zac Patchett found the flier after his sister, a sophomore at Clairemont High School, took it home.

“I was just personally offended,” Patchett said. “It goes against being an American.”

But Gary Cass, a member of Defend Christians, the group behind the fliers, does not see anything wrong with the handout’s sharp tone.

“This isn’t racist at all,” Cass said. “All it’s doing is telling the truth about a group of people that are organized around a religious ideology. It transcends race.”

Matthew Would Like To Say A Few Words.

Tundra Tabloids posted an article recently about something that happened over in England.

My mate Martin Brennan has been staying with a fellow called Matthew Stiddard. Martin was deported from Australia officially due to a breach of visa, but seeing as Martin had never been in trouble with the police nor had any notification from DIAC about any visa irregularities, I wonder if that was really it.

That’s for another day, so we’ll leave that for now.

Matthew was interviewed by VladTepes, and I’ve also gotten to know him. He’s starting to get a bit of a profile now, and he’s concerned that there might be some misconceptions floating around with respect to his current police…. challenges… and what’s happening with the leadership of the EDL.

For the record, Matthew has never made any comment about why the police would be interested in Martin. In conversation he has made it quite clear that it’s not a path he would like to travel down.

I’ll let him speak for himself*:

Remembering And Re-posting September 11.

originally posted here and at Tizonas.

While many people died in the atrocities in 2001, we tend to remember most the Twin Towers falling.

Many of us watched it happening in real time, even myself here in Melbournistan, Australia.

Seven years after the event, the enormity of it is something that never leaves; perhaps that really was the end of history as we know it, rather than the year 2000.

For someone with the gift of the gab, this is one that renders me nearly speechless, and so I will just leave you with a comment of the frollicking mole’s from Tim Blair’s old blog:

I saw people jumping and never considered it suicide. It was a choice between the auto-de-fe of the islamists or the quick death of their own making.
They made a CHOICE not to die by burning, I only hope they closed their eyes and thought back to when they were 5 and could fly….

In the interests of tolerance, diversity and multiculturalism, and for those who think that America (we) deserved 9/11:

I hope you fucking rot in hell.

God bless America and her martyrs.

Islamists Hate Music, Western Art and Culture

This article was posted in a link, on the comment thread on the issue of the interruption of the concert at Albert Hall last night. The whole article can be read here with a portion of it below.

It came as something as a shock to the liberal British arts establishment when ‘British’ Muslims recently set out their demands for changes in the educational system. They demanded that all schools with Muslim students should become Shariah-compliant, with bans on dance, drama and music. Recitation of the Koran should replace music lessons, and art should be restricted to the portrayal of inanimate objects.

Although they put the lefty luvvies and literati in a flutter, to anyone familiar with the global onslaught of Islam these demands are no surprise, and are in fact inevitable once Muslims have established themselves in sufficient numbers in Dar al Harb (the lands of the infidels).

Protests Against Turkish Violence Met with Turkish Violence

Turkey’s annual Peace Day is celebrated on September 1st rather than the UN’s international September 21st. But Turkey’s Peace Day did not grant anything of the sort to the 3,000 protesters who filled the streets of Istanbul in support of Kurdish rights and against the Turkish bombings and air strikes that have terrorized northern Iraqi Kurdistan  since early August.

The Turkish assault has led to the death of at least eight civilians. 389 people have been arrested. People have had to completely abandon seven Kurdish villages. And the Turkish government claims that 160 Kurdish rebels have been killed in the strike.

As if that wasn’t enough, Prime Minister Erdogan has promised that the supposed “restraint” Turkish forces have shown thus far because of the month of Ramadan will come to an end. As Ramadan has come to an end, Kurds around the world are watching Turkey with mistrust as they wait to see what the coming weeks will bring. Continue Reading →

Welcome to Tower Hamlets

From The New English Review:

H/T Snaphanen

by Esmerelda Weatherwax (September 2011)

Why I am going to Tower Hamlets on Saturday.

I am of an old East End family. We define the East End as the three old boroughs of Bethnal Green, Stepney and Poplar which since 1965 make up the current London Borough of Tower Hamlets, plus that area of Shoreditch around Shoreditch Church which since 1965 is part of the London Borough of Hackney. Although my mother was born in Hoxton (which is adjacent to, but not part of, the East End) where my grandfather had a market stall, her parents were born in Bethnal Green as were all of my father’s family. My cousins and I have traced many lines of our families back to the 18thcentury. We span 4 centuries and 10 generations in the area, at least. Welcome to my ancestoral homeland.

The East End encompassed London docks which meant that people have always arrived from all over the world and many settled nearby. Just in the relatively small circle of my own family history, through blood, marriage, kinship or family friendship I know of Irish, Welsh, Italian, Scottish, Jewish, Polish and Russian, French Huguenot, Indian, West Indian and Yorkshire. Every group that came to the East End brought their own customs. The Huguenot influence can be seen in our love of bright colours of clothing and the flowers of our little gardens, even if the only garden available was a yard or a veranda. The Jewish influence is famous and goes far beyond the food and the delicatessens (and bread). Limehouse was Chinatown for many years although it is now in Gerrard Street W1. They integrated while giving us the best of their culture. Until recent years.

Sylheti speaking seamen from the nation now called Bangladesh came through the docks even before the Second World War. During the war a mosque opened along Whitechapel Road for their use and that of other Muslims. From the late 1960s onwards more came and brought their families. But they didn’t integrate. The East London Mosque now covers the whole block between Plumbers Row and the Whitechapel Bell Foundry to the east, New Street to the west, Whitechapel Road to the north and Fieldgate Street to the south, other than the small and valiant Great Fieldgate Street Synagogue which the mosque covets but cannot have.

It isn’t the size of the Mosque complex (they are now building upwards, nine floors and counting) which is cause for concern, however, but the nature of their speakers and preachers, the malign influence of the Islamic Forum of Europe, the corruption of local politics and the imposition of Sharia law. The Telegraph Journalist Andrew Gilligan chronicles this regularly.

The following are a few the reasons why the English Defence League will be rallying in Tower Hamlets next week. The Home Secretary Theresa May, at the request of the Metropolitan Police, acting under the orders of the notorious Lutfur Rahman, the Mayor (for elected mayor, read Islamic dictator) has banned any march for a month through 5 London boroughs, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Hackney and Islington. So the demonstration will be a static one, which is our democratic right from which we cannot be banned.

Imposition of a Sharia controlled Zone.

I photographed these in Ford Square and nearby Sidney Street.

The treatment of Women

The hijab is near universal. The niqab is imposed on women in greater numbers than in Bangladesh itself.

In April a pharmacy assistant, not a Muslim and married to a Christian was threatened, as was the chemist shop where she worked under Hindu management, if she did not adopt a veil and Islamic dress code. “If she keeps working here and continues to dress like that, then we will boycott you because this is a Muslim area,” the chemist’s owner was told.

Advertising posters for swimming costumes have had burkas painted on to them. The same young man responsible for some of the anti gay stickers we spotted in October last year, about which more later, has also been convicted of criminal damage to advertising hoardings. But he is not alone.

The niqab is imposed as compulsory school uniform on girls as young as 11 at the Madani Islamic girls school in Mrydle Street behind the East London Mosque. I witnessed a young girl tearing off the face covering as she turned the corner of the road when I was there last year. At the time I thought she was waiting until she was out of sight of the mosque; I now suspect she was hurrying out of sight of her school.

I photographed these women entering and leaving the pupil’s gate of the school before the summer holiday began in July. Inset top left, the school address.

I can only conclude that this arrangement below which I photographed in Poplar in July is designed to allow the women of this ground floor flat to reach the veils and other garments just visible on the washing line at the far left above the curtains without having to don a previously laundered niqab before venturing into the sunshine.

These incidents do not stand alone. Others can be found by searching my blog articles going back to 2006.

Treatment of gays.

The most obvious example is the declaration, some months prior to the Sharia Controlled Zone, that Tower Hamlets is a “Gay Free Zone” My daughter spotted this sticker left at the Aldgate end of Whitechapel in October, and right in Sidney Street in August.

“Cut the tongue of this lowly Jew”: Muslim offended by joke threatens David Letterman

It should be interesting to see how Letterman makes this into Sarah Palin or one of her handicapped relatives fault.

Muslim militant threatens Letterman.

LOS ANGELES – A Muslim militant has urged American followers to assassinate U.S. talk show host David Letterman, saying his tongue deserved to be cut out, a U.S. intelligence monitoring group said Wednesday.

The SITE intelligence group said the death threat was posted on an online website used by militants after the writer became upset by a joke Letterman made about the death of a leading member of al-Qaida killed in an air strike in Pakistan.

The militant called on Muslims in the United States to “cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever,” the threat against Letterman said, according to a translation by SITE. The popular late-night television host is not Jewish.

The FBI said it was taking the threat seriously.

The writer was angered by watching Letterman on his show drawing his finger across his neck while talking about the June death of senior al-Qaida figure Ilyas Kashmiri.

The message was posted on the website Shumukh al-Islam. SITE analyst Adam Raisman told Entertainment Weekly the website was “a clearing house for al-Qaida material” and drew supporters of the group headed by the late Osama bin Laden.

Executives at broadcaster CBS and a spokesman for Letterman declined Wednesday to comment on the threat.

Tim Flannelly, an FBI spokesman in New York, said the agency was looking into the matter.

“The FBI takes all threats seriously and we will run it down like we do all threats,” Flannelly said.

A Muslim group in 2010 threatened the makers of “South Park” after the animated satirical show depicted the Prophet Mohammad in a bear suit. Most Muslims consider any depiction of the founder of Islam as offensive.

A 21-year old man from Virginia was sentenced in February to 25 years in prison for publishing the home addresses of the “South Park” creators and urging readers to pay them a visit, as well as trying to help a Somali militant group.

More on the Philadelphia riots

Some seriously messed up things are happening to my site today. This is the third time I have attempted to post this video, and I can’t be bothered to rewrite the whole opinion part of it again till its fixed. Sorry for the slow posting. It appears as if some totalitarian minded person or group is attempting to restrict my right of expression as well as all of yours here at this site today.

It is interesting though, what the anchor woman thinks is shocking. I would say I thought other things where.

Family of albino Muslims terrorised after one of them marries a Christian man

The Daily Mail

By Daily Mail Reporter

Last updated at 12:20 PM on 4th August 2011

A family of albino Muslims are being terrorised by bigots because their daughter married a man from another religion.

The so-called ‘honour’ retribution has included smashed windows at their Coventry home, vandalised cars and death threats.

Now, head of the family Aslam Parvez has made a plea to the culprits to end the hatred.

Terrifying: The family have faced hatred after it was revealed a member had married a Christian man. Pictured from left to right (back) Ghulam Ali, Haider Ali and Mohammed Rafi and front Shameem and Aslam PavezTerrifying: The family have faced hatred after it was revealed a member had married a Christian man. ‘We’re a good family and have done nothing wrong yet we’re being punished in the name of honour,’ he said.

Aslam Parvez, 53, blames members of the Muslim community who believe the family have been dishonoured by his daughter’s marriage.

The hate campaign started five months ago when a national magazine published an article on albinos which featured Naseem, who no longer lives in Coventry and has little contact with her family.

It revealed how she has married a Christian, goes to church and is expecting her second child with her husband.

Mr Parvez says copies of the article were quickly spread maliciously, and were posted on walls near their house and through the doors of Muslim homes in the community.

Mr Parvez says he has received numerous death threats and has spent hundreds of pounds installing security cameras around his house.

He has now stopped going to mosque and says he may be forced to flee the city with his wife Shameem Akhtar, 55, three sons Mohammed, 17, Haider, 28, Gulam, 30, and daughters Muqadas, 26 and Musarat, 19. Continue Reading →
