Who Owns the Dead Sea Scrolls?
Jordan has demanded that Israel hand over some of the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. The kingdom claims Israel seized the scrolls illegally from a museum in East Jerusalem during the Six-Day War in 1967.
Israel seized the scrolls and other antiquities from the Palestinian Museum, which was managed by Jordan in east Jerusalem when it occupied this part of the city in 1967,” said Rafea Harahsheh of Jordan’s antiquities department.
The scrolls were discovered by a Bedouin shepherd in 1947. The famous parchments number 900 documents and biblical texts belonging to the Essenes, a breakaway Jewish sect that lived in the craggy hills above the Dead Sea where the scrolls were discovered.
They provide a rare insight into life in the Holy Land and the emergence of early Christian groups in the area.
The Jordanians recently asked the Canadian government to seize some of the scrolls while they were on display in Toronto.
They have also appealed to the United Nations in support of their case.
Israel has refused to discuss handing back the scrolls. Its foreign ministry told the Jerusalem Post, “Jordan’s occupation of the West Bank was never recognized by the international community and the kingdom relinquished all claims on the territories. In many posts I have referred to a situation or a tactic as being ‘Hayekian’. What I refer to, is Hayek’s idea that a group wishing to enforce its Utopian vision on an unwilling public who know for a fact that it will not work, employ the use of a ‘strong man’ like Hitler and his Nazi’s or Muslims, as the muscle to overthrow the existing order and then this group thinks it can get rid of the strong man and rule. I think the Iranians found out the hard way it isn’t that easy to to get rid of the strong man once they have power. Here is an interview with F.A. Finland wakes up a little
New movie Avatar downright racist. It would never be shown in public if they changed any of the roles.
A good friend of mine came over for a visit the other night and told me about a film he had seen the night before called ‘Avatar’. He was utterly stunned at how racist and anti white it was. How all the good people in it where black women or amer-Indian males who cared about the environment like that US crying Indian did for the anti-throw-your-garbage-out-the-window commercials in the early 80s.
He was aslo stunned by how all the white male dialogue was so blatantly about profit over, well anything really. I in fact am planning on ripping a few scenes after what he told me and doing a bit of a movie review of my own complete with illustrations once I can find a decent stream of the damn thing. So you can imagine my delight when I discovered this wonderful gem at Tundra Tabloids by one of my favorite thinkers and authors of the 20th century, Fjordman, who wrote a review of this very film and for the same reasons. Again, this movie even from the 20 odd minutes I watched online, was the most racist thing I have seen since The Birth of a Nation, the first ever hollywood feature length motion picture, and made by the Ku Klux Klan.
Basically, if you want to see Avatar just watch this clip but imagine you can see all the people throwing trash as white males who get paid for it, and that each crying Indian has a black woman telling him exactly what to do, and how to pray for the land at all times.
And now on to Fjordman:
Since I am a certified sci-fi geek and most science fiction movies are quite bad this habit unfortunately forces me to watch a large number of bad movies. It’s one of my little perversions. I have just watched the most expensive B-movie ever made, the US$ 237 million Avatar by director James Cameron, famous for having produced films such as The Terminator, Terminator 2, Aliens and Titanic. Briefly summed up I would say that while it is visually spectacular, as is everything Mr. Cameron makes, Avatar has to be one of the most anti-Western and especially anti-white Hollywood movies I have seen in a long time.
The hero is the U.S. Marine Jake Sully who has been sent to the planet-like moon Pandora because humans desire the mineral resources found of Pandora, which is inhabited by a race of tall, blue-skinned aliens, the Na’vi. They have a non-industrial civilization technologically inferior to ours but apparently spiritually richer and in perfect ecological harmony with the natural environment. The hero predictably falls in love with the native culture and connects with a native girl.
“Going native” is in itself not an original theme; it resembles Dances with Wolves, only with aliens instead of Sioux. Neither is the preference for pre-industrial civilization, which was after all shared by a good man such as Tolkien in his The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Tolkien had personally experienced the meaningless horrors of trench warfare during the First World War and this naturally affected his view of industrialized society. What is different about the movie Avatar is how it portrays whites as a bunch of raging monsters, something which Tolkien never did.
Basically, the white characters are portrayed as brutal, greedy and insensitive beasts who rape the environment and destroy other cultures with a smile in the search for profit. The main antagonist is the white Colonel Quaritch, a brute who hardly possesses a single positive character trait. The final climax of the movie is when he screams “How does it feel to betray your race?” to the protagonist while he is trying to murder him. Although a few of the white characters such as Jake Sully are portrayed in a more redeeming light this is only because they totally reject their own civilization and join the other team in the fight. In other words: the only good whites are the ones who utterly turn their backs on their own destructive and evil culture. As reviewer Armond White put it, “Avatar is the corniest movie ever made about the white man’s need to lose his identity and assuage racial, political, sexual and historical guilt.”
Of course, back in the real world whites are among the most self-critical and least ethnocentric people on Earth, and have been so for a long time. Whites are also disproportionately represented in the environmental movement whereas many “diverse” Third World peoples couldn’t care less about the environment. But why let the truth get in the way of making a good anti-white movie? The fact that quite a few among the predominantly white audience cheered for this movie shows that anti-white hatred and stereotypes have become so widespread and accepted that most people cannot even see it, least of all whites themselves.

Lowell Green handles a caller brilliantly
Tuesday Dec 15 2009 a caller to Lowell Green’s CFRA 580 AM radio talk show, was about to discuss adoption in Islam and how it relates to the story of the 75 year old woman who is about to be lashed, probably to death, for having some minor social contact with her adopted son.
Lowell interrupted the caller and explained as clearly as he could, that he could not allow the caller to continue. That he knew what the caller was going to say. That he knew what the caller had to say was likely true. That the station would likely be heavily fined, the host may well lose his job but would certainly be reprimanded for allowing the caller to continue, and that the consequences to the station and staff overall would be greater than the station could bear. That the caller should feel free to trash talk Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism or Buddhism but nothing may be said of Islam that may make it look bad, even if true.
I am certain what Lowell said is exactly the truth. I hope the rest of us take note. Islam has effectively already removed the most important freedom we have. The freedom to speak what is actually true, and therefore, the freedom to make decisions based on valid information for ourselves.

Here is a Phyllis Chesler article on the Swiss Minaret issue. Nothing much has happened yet as a result of the Swiss vote, but something will most likely. Phyllis points out how we never hear about proportional response when it comes to Muslims. Below, a section of it:
The Islamic world does not allow new synagogues or churches to be built. Further: Muslim fundamentalists currently persecute, torture, and murder those Christians who dare remain in the Middle East, and they kidnap, forcibly convert, and “marry” their very young daughters.
It is time to demand—or at least to expect–reciprocity. Otherwise, we are really being racist in having one (higher) standard for Westerners and another (much lower) standard for the barbarians.
Granted: The West is not as barbaric and intolerant as the Islamic world; we do not willingly wish to become intolerant. Yet, tolerating the intolerant is unwise, or as the Jewish sages tell us: Being kind to the cruel results in cruelty to the kind.
It would apper that now one is a ‘racist’ if one believes that national identity should be allowed and those who wish to impose foreign views on it should not do so. I bet that only applies though if the nation is white. No one seems to think its racist if an Arab state insists that no foreign ideas should even be considered, or if an African state like Zimbabwe actually throws people off of their land or out of their homes on the sole basis of skin color as they did to the white farmers. Then somehow that isn’t racist. But when French citizens feel that French national identity should have something to do with France well that is downright racist. Culture. Kadhafi claims that the Swiss Minaret ban is an invitation to Al-queda to attack the Swiss. Kadhafi no doubt thinks that would be an appropriate response. Of course, it would only prove the Swiss, and by extension the rest of Europe who clearly would all ban the building of more minarets if given the chance, correct that a minaret is indeed a symbol of Islamic manifest destiny. If Muslims do terrorist acts on Switzerland for not allowing minarets, then we should be nuking meca for what they do not allow in terms of competing ideologies.H/T TROP
Here is one for ‘The Golden Age of Spain’ file. 9 men arrested for trying to murder a woman they accused of adultery Islamic style.
SPANISH police have arrested nine men suspected of seeking to have a woman killed after they accused her of adultery, claiming they were following Islamic law, authorities said.
The men were arrested on November 14 and seven have been held in jail, a police spokesman said.
According to police, the woman had been taken in March and held in an isolated house in Valls in northeastern Catalonia.
Authorities say the men set up a court there to judge her for adultery.
“These men had formed a kind of court to apply (Islamic) sharia law,” the spokesman said, adding the woman told authorities she was tried and sentenced to death.
She was later able to escape and report what happened to police.
What do you want to bet the BBC does not include this gem on their next feature on the wonders of Al Andaluz?
Lastly, ministers in the UK are told to avoid using certain words that might offend Muslims. Ok thats not news. We are used to that. I mean we all know that if you use words like ‘soap’ or ‘toothpaste’ you might really offend new Muslim immigrants but now even the words ‘Islamist and Fundamentalist’ are on the no speak list. I was kidding about soap and so on obviously but exactly what is it we are allowed to say or that doesn’t offend these tyrants? Oh yeah, welfare, dole, public housing and ‘not guilty on a technicality’ seem to be OK.

Oh yes and of course, ‘Schtick Muzzie’, Anjem Choudery is at it again with a subtle variation on his usual theme. This time he is trying to annoy the elderly with claims that Jesus would have wanted sharia law. I suppose his marching around with a photoshop of Buckingham Palace with an onion on top was wearing thin with his fan club. I certainly can’t say that I speak for Al Queda, but dollars to donairs I bet AQ and the rest of us do have one thing in Common.

Television debate on minaret ban with Tarek Ramadam. France
Tarek is truly an emetic personality. I do not think once here in this two part debate did he answer a question in any normal sense of answering one, but did walk across his own arguments several times, as clearly all that matters to him is establishing the primacy of Islam in Europe. On the one hand, he insists that a minaret is just a decorative unimportant non-political aspect of a mosque so to ban it is racist and shows European hatred of ‘visible Muslims’ and so minarets must be allowed. In other words, minarets are not important so they are really important. Get your Imodium ready, you will need it after you hear him. As to the rest of them as usual, they miss the point with a wide berth. Being opposed to Islam is not racist. A mosque is not an analogue of a Church. No church construction is permitted in most Muslim nations, ones that seem never to enter this debate. One interesting point, was that the content of the Muslim call to prayer made through these minarets five times a day, is in fact illegal content in France and many other nations, as it is a specific call not to obey the laws of the Kaffir etc. Enjoy. Franken-mentary on Islam in Spain
I saw this short BBC clip that really pissed me off. They seemed to imply that Spain would be better off under another 700 years of brutal racist oppressive sharia law and Islamic rule. So I thought I would counter their post modernist BS with some facts. I really don’t see why the BBC should take people’s money by force and use it to lie to them about important things without at least we, the people, having the right to rebut.
