An actress was doused with petrol in Paris in an attack thought to be related to her role in a feminist play she wrote about Algerian women.

The 45-year-old, who goes by the name of Rayhana, said two men approached her while she was walking to the theatre on Tuesday, grabbed her from behind, slapped her face and poured petrol on her. “I could smell the petrol. A flame brushed my hat and then I ran,” she said.
She has since been placed under police protection and the investigation into the attack is being led by the anti-terrorism unit, which has tackled many cases involving Muslim extremists.
Rayhana is starring in At My Age, I Still Hide to Have a Smoke, a play she wrote about a group of women who chat about their lives during a visit to an Algiers spa. The sell-out play features unflattering views on Muslim men.
In the weeks leading up to Tuesday’s attack, the actress said she had received threats and complained to police.
But, What about Indonesia?
“But”, say all of the detractors, “But what about Indonesia? Aren’t they a good example of a moderate Muslim nation?”

Kenyan police clash with Muslim Protestors
I must say, the rest of the world could learn a few things about how to handle Muslims from the Kenyans. It appears they managed to get the better of the deal with a gang of rioting Muslims demanding that the Kenyan nation give in to all their demands. If only Western governments would allow regular people to defend thier own cultures, beliefs and societies then we could probably fix the problem of Islam in the west in a week. Kenyan police, people clash with Muslim protesters

Kenyan security forces shot in the air and fired tear gas at hundreds of people protesting in the capital on Friday against the detention of Jamaican Muslim cleric Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal.
The protesters, chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest) and some holding the flag of Somali rebel group al Shabaab, were blocked by police with dogs as they tried to march through the heart of Nairobi after prayers at the downtown mosque.
Some Kenyans, angry the attempted protest had taken place at all, joined forces with the security forces and began hurling stones at the marchers, squeezing them back towards the mosque.
“This is not an acceptable behaviour. The man who is supposed to be deported is not a Kenyan and his presence is not in the interest of Kenya these days,” said bystander Richard Odibo.
A helicopter clattered overhead and police also used water cannon to contain the clashes. Many protesters, some carrying pictures of Faisal on placards, were eventually corralled in the mosque but small groups continued hurling stones nearby.
A Reuters witness saw two policemen and four protesters injured by stones.
Faisal was visiting the east African nation for a preaching tour. Kenyan intelligence officials have said they fear his speeches could stoke radicalism in a country that has suffered two al Qaeda-linked attacks.
Faisal was deported from Britain in 2007 for preaching racial hatred and urging his audiences to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. He was arrested in Kenya on Dec. 31.
Kenya’s immigration minister Otieno Kajwang has declared Faisal a prohibited immigrant. Attempts by Kenya to deport him failed last week because Nigeria refused to give him a transit visa to Gambia.
Police sources told Reuters Faisal was being held at Nairobi’s international airport. Another source said the government would hold him in custody until he could be deported straight to Jamaica.
“One person, a Jamaican, how can he make the whole country shut down? One person, how come no one in Jamaica is defending him,” said a man in a group that charged the Muslim protesters.
“These demonstrators, they can go back home to Somalia if they want to,” he told Reuters Television.
Kenya hosts some 300,000 Somali refugees in refugee camps and there is a significant Somali community in Nairobi. There have been reports of rebel supporters recruiting fighters and young suicide bombers from the diaspora within Kenya.
Al Shabaab, a rebel group that Washington accuses of links to al Qaeda, is battling to overthrow the Somali government and impose their own hardline version of sharia law.

BANNED Muslim extremist Anjem Choudary is getting 24-hour police protection – and you are paying for it.
His threat to march in Wootton Bassett whipped up so much fury senior officers have stepped in to defend him from hate mobs.
On Sunday, 200 English Defence League supporters descended on the Wiltshire town which honours Britain’s war dead after rumours of a demo by his Islam4UK organisation.
The radical group was banned by the Home Secretary on Tuesday. And police chiefs are diverting men from essential duties to guarantee Choudary’s safety after far-right nuts made death threats against him. Gloating Choudary, 42, even cranked up the hatred against him by claiming the £25,000 benefits he gets every year, and the £325,000 house he lives in, were provided by “Allah” and not the British taxpayer.
The bill to guard Choudary could cost as much as £100,000 a year. But the trained lawyer said he was proud to milk the system, adding: “I am not doing anything illegal.
“If we were living under the shariah there would be free food, clothing and shelter for all. The money belongs to Allah and if it is given you can take it.
“You don’t lie and you don’t cheat – that is what the prophet said.”
But Matthew Sinclair, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: “Taxpayers are going to be shocked to hear the police are having to waste time they should be spending fighting terrorism looking after Anjem Choudary.”
And Tory MP Patrick Mercer, chairman of the Commons sub- committee on counter-terrorism, slammed Choudary as a publicity-seeker.
He said: “He’s drawing constant attention to himself and diverting resources from their proper use.”
A police source warned: “Choudary has deliberately made himself a target among far-right groups and his plans to protest at Wootton Bassett stirred up even more anger.
“Senior officers are frightened of having a race war on their hands. If something were to happen to him, we would be blamed.”

U.K. Muslim inmates refuse therapy claiming discussing crime is haram
Of course it is only haram for Muslims to speak of their crimes with infidels, but halal to pray against these same infidels with fellow Muslims. The good part is, is that as long as they refuse to comply with therapy, chances are better they will be held to full sentence.

Muslim prisoners are refusing to take part in group therapy sessions saying it’s against their religion to talk about their ‘past crimes’ in front of others.

Scores of Britain’s 10,000 Muslim prisoners – one in eight of all inmates – are refusing to take part in Offending Behaviour Programmes (OBPs ), claiming it is ‘forbidden’ or ‘Haraam’.
Haraam refers to anything that is prohibited by faith, and in Islamic culture criminals are barred from discussing their offences with others.
Previously, Muslim prisoners refused to take part in Sex Offender Treatment Programmes because it involved talking about offences against women, but now some are refusing to take part in all rehabilitation sessions where they have to ‘open up’ in front of other cons.
Among the courses some Muslims are declining to take part in are the Cognitive Self Change Programme (CSCP), just one of 13 OBPs on offer from the prison service.
The CSCP, which treats 7,000 prisoners each year, targets ‘high risk violent offenders’ and offers individual and group sessions to prisoners.
The course claims to: “Equip prisoners with skills to help them control their violence and avoid reconviction.
“It is aimed at offenders with a history of violent behaviour and is suitable for those whose violence is reactive and/or instrumental.”
Other programmes on offer include Enhanced Thinking Skills, Cognitive Skills Booster Programme, Controlling Anger and Learning to Manage it and various motivational courses.
One Muslim prisoner, Abu Dira, a maximum security prisoner at HMP Long Lartin in Worcestershire, said this week: “Muslims cannot speak about their past crimes in a group setting.
“It is an established concept within the Sharia that a Muslim must not speak about the Haraam – prohibited things – and certainly should not advertise past mistakes to their peers.”
He says that it is clear from the words of Islamic prophet Muhammad, called a Hadith, that it was wrong to talk about past crimes. Continue Reading →
Five guilty for Islamist protests in Luton
Under a banner held up by a supporter saying “Islam will dominate the world. Freedom can go to hell”, Choudhury said that the trial showed the failure of freedom of speech and democracy.
TIMESONLINE… Five Muslim men who accused British soldiers of being rapists, murderers and baby killers during a homecoming parade were found guilty today of making threats.
The five, all from Luton, were convicted of using threatening, abusive or insulting words and behaviour likely to cause harassment and distress during a march by the Royal Anglian Regiment through Luton town centre in March last year.
Jalal Ahmed, 21, Yousaf Bashir, 29, Ziaur Rahman, 32, Shajjadar Choudhury, 31, Munim Abdul, 28, were found guilty at Luton Magistrates’ Court. Ibrahim Anderson, 32, and Jubair Ahmed, 19, also from Luton, were found not guilty. All had denied the charges.
The five men found guilty were given two-year conditional discharges and ordered to pay contributions towards costs of £500 each.
District judge Carolyn Mellanby said: “I have no doubt it is abusive and insulting to tell soldiers to ‘Go to hell’, to call soldiers murderers, rapists and baby killers. It is not just insulting to the soldiers but to the citizens of Luton who were out on the streets that day to honour and welcome soldiers home.”
Ms Mellanby added: “The fact that they say they did not intend their remarks to be insulting does not amount to defence in law. They were fully aware that shocking phrases in such circumstances would inevitably cause distress.”
She rejected arguments that they were merely exercising their right to freedom of speech as enshrined in the Human Rights Act, saying that their behaviour “went beyond reasonable, legitimate protest”.
Avirup Chaudhuri, for the prosecution, said that as the local regiment, who had served in Iraq and Afghanistan, passed, the group of protesters jeered “British Army murderers”, “British soldiers burn in hell” and “Baby killers”. They also denounced the troops as terrorists.
Lawyers defending the men said that their clients discussed their plans to protest with police beforehand, had agreed to a time and a place to do so and officers had not objected at the time. This implied consent by the police and to prosecute them retrospectively was not right, the lawyers said.
Outside court the defendants responded defiantly to the verdict.

Deputy State Police Chief Abdul Manan Mohamad Hassan confirmed the attack, stating that police are investigating the incident with the fire department. He said they have not discovered any Molotov cocktail in the compound and are still probing the cause of the fire.

Britain’s ‘Little Muhammed’ performs illegal marriages
Here we go again- more from Britain’s Little Muhammed, Anjem Choudary. How does this creepy fanatic, founder of Islam4uk and prime welfare recipient fill in the gaps in his day when he is not planning to write disgusting hate letters to dead British soldier’s families, arranging marches in Wooton-Basset or holding hostile sessions against the U.K. in public squares? He’s performing sharia weddings. Interestingly, the article below quotes Imam Shahid Raza, who claims Choudary ‘ does not have the right qualifications to qualify as a sharia judge’. Wait a minute…..Mr. Raza himself is described as one of Britain’s “leading sharia judges”. Seems to me that neither respect English law, the only difference being that Choudary is a bellicose, publicity slut. Read here for his latest rantings.
Choudary tells couples not to register their weddings as doing so is forbidden in Islam and would be a recognition of British law. In keeping with his obvious mental deficiency, he does not seem to understand that these ‘marriages’ are a sham, are not recognized, leaving them irrelevant and useless. Curious for a man who went through law school after he flunked out of medical school.
One year ago, OneLawForAll was established in the United Kingdom calling for a ban on religious councils and tribunals in Britain, defending secularism and universal rights in solidarity with people living under Islamic rule. They describe sharia as unjust, particularly to women and children and that sharia courts are a quick and cheap route to injustice.
As one reader put it ‘ in a sane Britain, with a sane government, Choudary would have been brought to heel long ago’.

Arsonists struck a fourth church on Jan. 9 in an ongoing row over the use of the word “Allah” as a reference to the Christian God, Reuters reported. Muslims protested at mosques on Jan. 8 after a court ruling allowed a Catholic newspaper to use Allah in its Malay-language editions. The protests sparked arson attacks against Christian churches, including the latest attack on the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in a Selangor state suburb. Police are urging churches across the country to increase security.

Six people were injured.
