Google Hosts Sharia Law App Enabling Muslims to Report Blasphemy and Heresy to the Police

On December 7, 2018, the Google Play Store approved the latest version of “Smart Pakem,” an app that allows Muslims in Jakarta, the capital of the largest Muslim country on earth, to report violations of Sharia law such as blasphemy and even heresy. The app allows users to report people who practice unrecognized religions or unorthodox interpretations of Indonesia’s six officially recognized faiths: Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, Protestant Christianity, and Roman Catholic Christianity.

According to Google’s translation on the Google Play Store, “Smart Pakem” intends “to make it easier to find information and manage religion, belief flow and community organizations in the jurisdiction of DKI Jakarta,” the capital of Indonesia.

The app, which has more than 1,000 installs, claims to provide a list of “laws and regulations that regulate the activities of the flow of beliefs in the community.”

While most areas of Indonesia do not enforce the entirety of Sharia (Islamic law), the national criminal code prohibits blasphemy, which it defines as “the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things.” Article 156(a) makes it illegal to “express feelings of hostility, hatred, or contempt against religion,” with a penalty of up to five years in prison.

Blasphemy now means …

The new normal of course is to avoid, spin or reformat any real world events that cause one to doubt the Marxist-muslim narrative, and exaggerate fictions which promote it. The Trump-Russia story, well I don’t need to say more about that to anyone actually paying attention.

But now and again there is a story with massive importance which just sort of sits there.

Actually every day. And here is one of them:

Indonesia woman irked by mosque noise on trial for blasphemy

Indonesian prosecutors have demanded an 18-month prison term for a woman who was charged with blasphemy after she complained about the volume of a mosque’s loudspeakers.

The ethnic Chinese defendant, Meiliana, 44, was arrested on May 18, about two years after her case triggered a riot in Tanjung Balai, a port town in North Sumatra province.

A spokesman at the local prosecutor’s office, Sumanggar Siagian, said Tuesday the sentencing demand for Meiliana was made at the District Court in Medan, the province’s capital, on Monday.

Prosecutors said the defendant had violated Indonesia’s criminal code by committing blasphemy against Islam, the dominant faith in Indonesia.

So in moderate Indonesia, simply complaining about the excessive volume of a minaret which blasts its hate of unbelievers, morning, noon and night, is now the crime of blasphemy. She is lucky she isn’t getting the death sentence. But clearly according to sharia she could. Its just a matter of the other meaning of “Hijra”, the increased degree of islamic adherence in a given area.

This part of Indonesia is now so islamic that complaining about the volume of a minaret is blasphemy. This is no more ludicrous, less actually, than the charge of blasphemy itself.

But it isn’t so islamic that this form of blasphemy should be met with death just yet. But anyone who thinks it won’t be in the future is in denial of the trajectory of Islamic rule in Indonesia, and frankly, everywhere else in the world except maybe the Far East.

This is on a rhumb line with M103 as one example. With very little steering we will get to that level of adherence. In some ways we are already there as complaining about increased islamification and any inconvenience and loss of equality before the law, already gets charges of “islamophobia” levelled at you.

In England not that long ago, muslims gained the rational right to bring halal food to school with them. Then, they demanded that halal food be available at schools. Then pork could not be available at schools, even though its a British staple. Then all food at schools had to be halal so that muslim kids could not be “poisoned” with non halal. You know, like peanut butter in case kids trade food with someone fatally allergic.

Then, kids started getting sent home if they brought non-halal food with them to school.

(I cannot find the link about the child who was sent home from school for bringing a non-halal lunch to a public school, but this will do for the moment)

So you can see, the slippery slope argument is not only valid, its not only proven along multiple vectors from secular or Western to Islamic, but at dizzying speeds in terms of change to a once functional civilization.

This is an important story. And should be watched, and people should complain to news agencies that it is not major news. Because it is the future, if it is not actually the present with a leftist disguise on it.

VICE News looks at the growing phenomenon of sharia law in Indonesia

Below, a video by VICE, of which I am naturally highly suspicious, on sharia law in Indonesia. At first, I remained suspicious as Allah was translated as God, and they managed to discuss sharia without mentioning Islam etc. Also seeming to make it somewhat geopolitical, making it look like sharia law was a consequence of the Tsunami on parts of the Indonesian coast some years ago, for about the first half of the video, but it was still a fairly accurate representation of a relatively moderate form of sharia, and showed it to be distasteful and against Western and liberal values.

It still failed to show the worst aspects of sharia, which nearly NO ONE GETS. And that is not what they consider a crime and how they punish you for it, but the lack of due process, and often the opposite, using a charge of thought crimes as a way of destroying someone not of the Islamic ummah and punishing them sometimes lethally despite knowing the charges are false.

But the clip gets more grounded in reality about half way through and manages to show how the ideals are indeed Islamic, and they are spreading rapidly from the former Islamic State across Indonesia, I believe to be the most populous Islamic country in the world.

This seems like the right place to add this video on Islamic views of the LGBT community in Canada:

Indonesia succumbs to islamic mob rule

This is an event, the importance of which, will be missed by nearly everybody.

Just a week or so ago, massive mobs demanded that a Christian, more importantly, a non-muslim, governor who is up for reelection in Indonesia, be tried/jailed for blasphemy.

His actual “crime” such as it isn’t, was that he challenged his muslim opponent who claimed that the koran says that muslims may not be ruled by a non-muslim.

The Christian governor disagreed with that interpretation.

He in effect, was trying to say that the literal interpretation of koran should not apply, or be the only consideration when choosing a political leader.

This was determined to be blasphemy by the howling mob.

He was subsequently arrested and is now on trial for this, arguably most victimless crime possible.

The crowds are back, this time demanding a foregone conclusion. Jail. And of course we all know it won’t end there. Assassination attempts will likely take place on him, and his lawyers and any public supporters of his, like it does in Pakistan.

And if it doesn’t. its only a matter of time till it does.

But this is an important event for a few reasons.

The obvious one. That Indonesia is rapidly sliding into a muslim theocracy.

The slightly less obvious one, that we are witnessing a process that can and will take place all over the world if we do not take very very serious measures to stop it.

London England:

Please listen carefully to what the speakers are saying. As some are hard to make out, Breitbart has done us the courtesy of transcribing some of it.

Indonesia was not always a muslim country. And now it is be much more sharia compliant than it was a few years ago. And a few years from now it will be much more sharia compliant than it is now.

Hijra means two things. To make a journey to a place that is not islamic to make it islamic, but it also means the journey of making a place more islamic than it currently is.

As an aside, that is one of the only two clear ways a muslim can make it into the odd, lewd, Islamic concept of an afterlife, with its whores who are virgins and its rivers of wine.

The other reason to be concerned, is that a howling mob can force events to take place in the world of government and courts, based on a blasphemy accusation by a howling mob of people determined to create a despotic state. This is not news and utterly obvious. We see it constantly from Muslims.

But what is less obvious is that it is not for insulting Mohammad or his sock puppet allah.

It is for challenging just one of the ideas in the koran.

This is a demand to make every idea in that insane little book inviolable.

And at the expense of the real meaning of that word.

This is not a slippery slope, this is a well greased slide at a waterpark.

Of course the immediate implication of a guilty verdict will be that no non-muslim can possibly run for office anywhere that the population of muslims is high enough to prevent it, not by voting, although that would be bad enough, but by forming a rabid mob.

Given that Germany now has the highest number of accepted “refugees” in the world, higher than all other countries in THE WORLD COMBINED, one gets a sense of where it will happen first in the Western classical democracies.

Another Westgate style attack in Mali. Koran used to separate the hostages etc.

1. Jihadists kill three as they go ‘floor to floor’ screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’ during AK-47 rampage at Mali hotel and take 170 hostages before freeing those who could recite the Koran

(Less than 12 hours before world leaders explain the actions described in the headline above have nothing to do with islam)

Armed jihadists have killed at least three people in a deadly shooting rampage and taken 170 hostages at the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako, Mali.

Automatic weapons fire has been heard on the seventh floor of the 190-room hotel, where it is thought as many as 10 militants have been going floor to floor and taken 140 guests and 30 members of staff hostage.

Witnesses described how the gunmen allowed around 20 hostages to leave safely after they proved they were able to recite verses of the Koran to the militants. US and French Special Forces have reportedly stormed the hotel and have began to clear the building one floor at a time.

The US embassy has confirmed that several American government personnel are among the 125 guests who remain trapped inside the besieged hotel.

No group has claimed responsibility for the hotel attack, which is frequently used by Air France crew, although Al Qaeda affiliated militants have previously carried out attacks in Mali.

BBC: Mali attack: Special forces storm hotel to free hostages

More when it comes in. Anyone who reads this site will have rational questions about the event. It will be interesting to see if any of the usual media which deflect from the truth for the narrative, like the CBC, or the BBC, CNN and so on, try a new tack or ignore the Islamic aspects of it, or if any of the media who have shown a brave face to the world and tell the truth are submitting to the massive pressure they must be under to tow the EUSSR party lines on islam and terror.

With the speed of a swinging blade, freedom of speech gets restricted to more areas once blasphemy laws are allowed.

On the Blog Talk Radio program I did for a month or two, and at every opportunity I have, I point out that freedom of speech has only one function. That of protecting criticism of religious authority in all forms. Why? Because once you concede to religion as protected from criticism all things will be put under their purview as quickly as possible.

This news story featured at Jihad Watch is the perfect example.

Jakarta Post’s editor faces blasphemy charge for cartoon mocking Islamic State

Indonesian police have declared the editor-in-chief of a prominent English-language daily newspaper a suspect in a blasphemy case over the publication of a cartoon mocking the jihadist group Islamic State.

The editor said: “What we produced was a journalistic piece that criticised the ISIS movement, which has carried out violence in the name of religion,” using the acronym of the extremist group, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

“It means that the ISIS caricature was not blasphemous,” he said. “We all know that ISIS is an organisation that is banned in Indonesia and across almost the entire world.”

The Jakarta-based Alliance of Independent Journalists, or AJI, slammed the declaration of Suryodiningrat as suspect.

So it starts with a law that says you cannot criticize or in any way represent the deity with the most aggressive fan base in a given area. Then, you may also not represent any avatars that deity has attributed to him in a way other than the narrative originally assigned, or that impedes the advancement of the agenda of the supremacy of those who promote that agenda.

And then it becomes political. Anything associated with the deity is now legally above criticism except in certain ways and even then…

Then its everything. You cannot pick your own colors for clothes, you cannot pick your own styles of things and your choices are made for you by panels of religious experts on all matters cultural and personal.

Granted this particular article appears to be about the contents of his cartoon. But the chill effect will be exactly the same. Everyone in publishing will know what the real reason is and speak accordingly.

For those of us who understand this issue I would suggest the time to speak openly, loudly and often about Islam and its threat to liberal society is now. Make and wear T shirts. Exercise your freedom of speech. Preserve the enlightenment and do it now. The clock is ticking in Canada while it runs out in Indonesia.

Problems Will Disappear if Ahmadiyah Disappear, Says West Java Governor

I find this attitude doubly offensive, both as a tautological argument, (The only true religion is on this napkin and I know this to be true because it says so right here on this napkin) offensive enough on its own, but as a ‘blame the victim for his suffering’ argument as well. A governor of a state has the innate savagery to say that the discrimination against this islamic minority group would disappear (by the more orthodox and classical muslims) if they, the group were to just disappear.

We however can draw a valuable lesson from this article below.

That even if we all convert to islam right now and start doing bearded yoga five times a day and driving cabs, it will never, ever stop the bloodshed. That as islam requires an enemy as the only sure fire way into mohamed’s after-life beer and sky-brothel is to kill an unbeliever, when they run out of us, they will go after those who are thought to be not the genuine article.

These people will lay the earth to waste.

Just days after hard-line Islamic group members tore down the homes of an Ahmadiyah community in his province, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan said violence against the beleaguered minority group would stop if the religion disappeared.

“Of course we want religious tolerance to go properly but the Ahmadiyah have committed a violation by spreading a deviant belief. The problem will disappear if the belief disappears,” Ahmad told Indonesian news portal Kompas.com on Tuesday.

Early on Saturday morning, a mob of 400 hard-liners attacked an Ahmadiyah community in Sukamaju village, Singaparna district, leaving dozens of houses in shambles. Some 60 police officers guarding the village were outnumbered and rendered powerless against the assailants.

Indonesian girls face jail over Maroon 5 dance

First, the video.

The story:

Five Indonesian teenage girls have been accused of blasphemy and may face jail after making a video in which they mixed Islamic prayer with dancing to a Maroon 5 song.

The girls were expelled from their high school in Tolitoli city, on Sulawesi island, and reported to police after the video of their dance to the US band’s hit One More Night went viral online.

Christians persecuted, churches destroyed over Easter in Indonesia

This video was sent to me from one of our great sources but as good as the translation was, I felt the original subtitles was a bit hard to read. So I redid them. I hope expel darkness doesn’t mind, He is certainly welcome to grab and use this version if he likes it.

Thanks Magic Martin for finding the original for me.

The tolerance just oozes out of their yells of allhu akbar.

Church Demolished in ‘Moderate’ Indonesia!

By  • on March 23, 2013

We are often fed the idea that Indonesia is a ‘moderate’ Islamic nation.  Events on the ground would suggest something very different.  The Australia News Network reports on the demolition of a Christian Church near Jakarta (1).  Click HERE for the Australia News Network Coverage which includes a video about the issue.

Again, we don’t hear a peep from the supposed high priests of religious tolerance at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).  The OIC promoted UNHRC Resolution 16/18 that purports to confront threats to freedom of religion.  It seems very clear that the OIC does not in fact favour religious freedom and Indonesia is an OIC member state.  Perhaps to the OIC, religious freedom only means the freedom to expand the reach of sharia.

Religious Persecution In Yet Another OIC Member State – Indonesia

President Barack Obama and Indonesia’s President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in 2010

Human Rights Watch has exposed widespread religious persecution of non-Muslims in Muslim majority Indonesia (1).  Some commentators have pointed to Indonesia as a as a ‘moderate’ Muslim country (2) and that includes the obviously easily led British Prime Minister David Cameron. Of course Indonesia is a member of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), that curious organisation that claims to be in favour of religious tolerance.  Unfortunately, to the OIC religious tolerance actually means tolerance of, and indeed complete acceptance of sharia law.  That is why the OIC claims that freedom of speech leads to ‘defamation of Islam’ in the West but does not seem to mention the actual persecution that goes on in its own member states.
