Srimad Bhagavad Gita burned, Srivas Angan destructed and partially grabbed by Islamists in Bangladesh.
In the series attack upon the Hindu Temples in Bangladesh in recent months, aiming to frighten the minority Hindus there and to grab the Hindu temple properties within a so called secular regime of Awami League Govt. headed by Sheikh Hasina, latest feed back came to us about a total resentment of the retaliating Hindus in the nefarious design of burning of “Srimad Bhagabad Gita” in the temple complex of Sribas Angan in the vicinity of Beyani Bazar of Sylhet district. Before this culpable act the Islamist perpetrators destroyed the ancestral deities of this “Sree Sree Lakshmi Narayan”, “Lord Shiva” and “Radha Madhav Jiu” of Achray Sribas Swami, a great Sanskrit scholar ever and the champion companion of Sree Sree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu(1486–1534), a great spiritual leader in India for his Bhakti Movement.
The ancestral complex Sribas Acharya is considered as a heritage monument and famous Tirtha Khestra (pilgrimage resort) for Hindus comprising with very old “Sree Sree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir”, “Pancha Tattva Mandir”, and “Siva Mandir” was destroyed by the local Mohammedan land grabbers and perpetrators.
On 02.04.11, morning at about 10.00 am in broad day light, local influential perpetrators and land grabbers backed by ruling parties burned at least ten copies of Sreemad Bhagbad Gita with many religious books in front of local people after rampaging the whole pilgrimage complex to ensure a Islamic capture over a Hindu rights upon a temple property(Devottar sampatti). The fanatic Mohammedans successfully tried to destroy the relics of famous library building of Srivas Swami where a good collection of Hindu classic literatures and scriptures were the main attraction for the erudite students of the Master Srivas, across eastern India. It is believed that Srivas Swami started here an indigenous block print method (printing press) to copy old Sanskrit Texts. For a very unfortunate fate of the Hindus in Bangladesh all these historical and religious monuments have almost been perished into the Islamic aggression and the Government negligence.

Behind-the-scenes talks are trying to put a stop to terrifying, violent attacks on a minority religious community, write Eamonn Duff and Natalie O’Brien.
IT BEGAN with minor acts of vandalism, including egg throwing and smashed windows, but instead of remaining periodic footnotes in the night log at Auburn police station, the incidents have grown so violent – and the issue so culturally sensitive – that even authorities are reluctant to speak about them publicly.
Australia’s oldest Hindu temple, the Sri Mandir in Auburn, is under siege and its devotees gripped by fear.
On March 19, two men in balaclavas stood at the intersection of a nearby road, spraying the front of the prayer hall with eight rounds of bullets. The building was unoccupied at the time.
The busy Hindu temple opened in 1977. It is surrounded by a predominantly Muslim population and it is no secret among locals that tensions have been simmering in recent years, caused by concerns about noise and parking problems at Sri Mandir.
”There is no excuse [for the gun attack],” the editor of Sydney newspaper The Indian, Rohit Revo, said.
”This was not the work of teenagers; neither was it a petty prank. This is part of a sustained and increasingly violent campaign to scare the temple devotees and drive them out. By definition, this latest attack was an act of terrorism.”
The Sun-Herald is aware the ongoing feud has caused disquiet among some of the most senior police in western Sydney. In a rare move, details of the shooting were deliberately held back from the NSW police media unit through concern that publicity might inflame hostilities.
Auburn City Council claims the first it knew of the incident was when The Sydney Morning Herald published an article on Wednesday. Since then, the chairman of the Community Relations Commission, Stepan Kerkyasharian, has stepped in as an intermediary between Hindus and Muslims. Continue Reading →
Malaysia clerics issue yoga fatwa

Many people see yoga as a way to maintain their health
Millions of people in Malaysia have been banned from doing yoga because of fears it could corrupt Muslims.
The Islamic authorities have issued a ruling, known as a fatwa, instructing the country’s Muslims to avoid yoga because of its Hindu roots.
To most people yoga is simply a sport – a stress-busting start to the day.
Malaysia’s National Fatwa Council said it goes further than that and that elements of the Indian religion are inherent in yoga.
Announcing the decision, the council chairman Abdul Shukor Husin said practices like chanting and what he called worshipping were inappropriate and they could “destroy the faith of a Muslim”.
The ruling is not legally binding but many of Malaysia’s Muslims abide by fatwas.
Yoga classes here are filled with mostly non-Muslim Malaysians of Chinese or Indian descent, but in the major cities it is not uncommon to see several Muslim women at classes. Continue Reading →

It is an assembly hall of the sort found in any ordinary school. Boys aged 11 and upwards sit cross-legged on the floor in straight rows. They face the front of the room and listen carefully. But this is no ordinary assembly. Holding the children’s attention is a man in Islamic dress wearing a skullcap and stroking his long dark beard as he talks.
‘You’re not like the non-Muslims out there,’ the teacher says, gesturing towards the window. ‘All that evil you see in the streets, people not wearing the hijab properly, people smoking . . . you should hate it, you should hate walking down that street.’
He refers to the ‘non-Muslims’ as the ‘Kuffar’, an often derogatory term that means disbeliever or infidel.
Welcome to one of Britain’s most influential Islamic faith schools, one of at least 2,000 such schools in Britain, some full-time, others part-time. They represent a growing, parallel education system.

The school is the Darul Uloom Islamic High School in Birmingham, an oversubscribed independent secondary school. Darul Ulooms are world-renowned Islamic institutions and their aim is to produce the next generation of Muslim leaders. In fact, these schools have been described as the ‘Etons of Islam’.
This school is required by its inspectors to teach tolerance and respect for other faiths. But the Channel 4 current affairs programme Dispatches filmed secretly inside it – and instead discovered that Muslim children are being taught religious apartheid and social segregation.

LAHORE: Pakistani human rights activists are perturbed by the erosion of minority rights, particularly the alarming frequency with which cases of forcible conversion of the country’s Hindu nationals are surfacing.
In a latest case of forced conversion, the head of a religious seminary in Rahim Yar Khan district of Pakistani Punjab first abducted a minor Hindu girl and then stopped her from meeting her parents, saying the girl had converted to Islam and no longer wanted to meet her “non-Muslim relatives”.
According to Mehnga Ram, the father of the 13 year old Hindu girl, his daughter Radha was abducted in December 2009 and since then she is not being allowed to see her parents. “Since her abduction, we have knocked on every door stretching from the president of Pakistan to the chief minister of Punjab, but to no avail. In fact, local police, including the district police officer of Rahim Yar Khan are supporting those who had abducted Radha”.
He adds: “The police authorities are neither registering a first information report (FIR) against the accused, nor are they taking any action to recover the girl from the custody of Abdul Jabbar”. Mehnga Ram said his daughter had been missing since December 21, 2009, and the family had searched for her everywhere. More Pakistani Muslim plans to attack Indian civilians
INDIAN police say they have arrested two men for planning to attack a fuel facility and a shopping centre in Mumbai, where Pakistani gunmen killed 166 people 15 months ago.
Mumbai’s anti-terrorism police chief, K.P. Raghuvansh, told reporters that the two men were Indian and had taken orders from inside Pakistan.
They intended to target a fuel storage complex owned by state-run energy firm Oil and Natural Gas as well as a popular shopping arcade, he said.
“These two have been in constant touch with their handlers sitting across the border in Pakistan, who want to do something in India,” he said.
“When we thought they were planning to act, we arrested them.”
India has blamed the Pakistan-based Islamist group Lashkar-e-Taiba for the November 2008 attacks on luxury hotels, a restaurant and a cultural centre in Mumbai.
Nine of the ten people who carried out the attacks died as security forces fought to regain control of the city.
The sole surviving gunman, who is currently on trial, has said he is a Pakistani national.
The Press Trust of India news agency named the two men arrested late on Saturday as Abdul Latif Rashid, 29, and Riyaz Ali, 23.
Last month 11 people were killed in a blast at a restaurant in the city of Pune, near Mumbai.
A previously unknown Islamist group claimed responsibility.
Mumbai terror lawyer Shahid Azmi killed in ‘professional hit’
TIMESONLINE… A Muslim lawyer who was defending a man accused of planning the Mumbai terror attacks has been gunned down in a suspected underworld hit.
Shahid Azmi, 33, was representing Fahim Ansari, an Indian accused of carrying out reconnaissance work for the Mumbai attacks, which killed 166 people in November 2008.
Mr Ansari is on trial in Mumbai alongside Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, the Pakistani national alleged to be one of ten Islamist militant gunmen who kept India’s commercial capital under virtual siege for 60 hours.
Mr Azmi, whose rise from convicted child terrorist to respected advocate had made him a Muslim hero, was shot four times in the chest and head on Thursday evening by four men at his home in the middle-class suburb of Kurla in Mumbai.
The attackers made their getaway in a diesel autorickshaw. Police suspect a professional hit.
The young lawyer, who grew up in a slum, had stood out among India’s legal fraternity. Aged 15, he was arrested for allegedly plotting to kill a right-wing Hindu leader in the wake of Hindu-Muslim riots in Mumbai.
He was found guilty of attending terrorist training camps in Kashmir and spent seven years in jail – time he used to study.
Before being acquitted by the Supreme Court he had shared a cell with Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar and Maulana Masood Azhar – two of the three terrorists who were released in exchange for hostages when an Indian Airlines flight was hijacked en route from Kathmandu to Delhi in 1999. Continue Reading →

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – A Malaysian woman is fighting to be recognized as a Hindu after being converted to Islam when she was a child, in the latest interfaith dispute to hit Muslim-majority Malaysia, her lawyer said Wednesday.
The case threatens to further anger non-Muslims who have complained that their religious rights are being sidelined, and could further erode minority support for the government.
Lawyer Gooi Hsiao Leung said Banggarma Subramaniam, 27, and her three siblings were under the care of a government orphanage in northern Penang state when she was converted to Islam by welfare officials in 1989 when she was seven years old.
“The conversion itself from the start (was) illegal. She wants to restore her Hindu faith and practice her religion freely,” he told the Associated Press.
She ran away when she was 16 and got married two years later in 2001 in a traditional Hindu ceremony. When she returned to the home to collect her identity card and other documents, she was given the Muslim conversion certificate which listed her name as Siti Hasnah Vanga-rama Abdullah, said Gooi.
She has been unable to register her marriage or name her husband as the father of their two children in their birth certificates as she is listed a Muslim. Banggarma’s husband must convert to Islam to legally wed her as marriage between Muslims and non-Muslims is not allowed in the country.
The welfare department claims Banggarma was converted in 1983 by her father and that she must go to the Shariah Court to verify her status. Continue Reading →
A love story ‘murdered’ in Srinagar
Hindu boy marries Muslim girl. Muslim parents pay police to murder boy. Silly kids, falling in love. Have they no shame.
The Times of India…Rajneesh was a small trader from Jammu often going on business trips to Srinagar. He fell in love with a girl and married her.
He wanted to be faithful to his beloved from Srinagar, who was beautiful and had unflinching trust in her life partner. It’s difficult, if not impossible, to have love bloom between Jammu and Srinagar. But it was more than that. The boy from Jammu was a Hindu and the girl from Srinagar, a Muslim. Ameena was her name and she changed her name to Anchal Sharma after marriage.
A month after the marriage the boy was picked up from his Jammu house by the Kashmir police and taken to Srinagar for “investigation”. The police never registered his name, Rajneesh Sharma, as the accused who is being taken to Srinagar, but instead named his brother Pawan Sharma in police records, to confuse and hide the real identity.
The smell of a plot was there the moment they took the boy hustled in a jeep and covered with a blanket.
The boy never returned home to celebrate his first Diwali with Anchal nee Ameena.
He was found dead hanging with an iron grill in his Srinagar cell. Police said he committed “suicide”. An inconsolable Anchal alleged that her parents bribed police to murder her beloved because he dared to marry a Muslim girl from the valley. Jammu, Sep 28 (IANS) In what may be the first ever such act of resistance against militants in Jammu and Kashmir, a young woman in Rajouri district killed one militant and injured and drove away two others who had barged into her house and tried to abduct her, police said Monday.
Rukhsana, who gave up her studies two years ago after failing class tenth, was in her house in Shadhara village in Thana Mandi area of the district, about 190 km north-east of Jammu, when three militants barged in late Sunday night, police in Rajouri said.
The militants demanded Rukhsana be handed over to them, which her father Noor Hussain, mother Rashida and brother Ejaz tried to resist. At this, the militants started hitting the family members with rifle butts. This angered Rukhsana and she picked up an axe and hit one of the militants, killing him. He was later identified as Abu Osama of the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
A violent scuffle ensued, in which another militant was injured and he and the third soon fled.
Police officials have commended Rukhsana’s courage, while state Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda has sent a special message for Rukhsana and said she would soon be rewarded.
“We have also provided police protection to the family,” Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajouri-Poonch range S.D.S. Jamwal told reporters.

The Andrew Bostom video I posted (Thanks Jdamn) last week on youtube and embedded here has garnered a few views. The comments thread is rather interesting so I thought I would re post some of them over here. I’ll also post the video as well for anyone who has not seen it. It is a short lecture on the facts of ‘dhimmitude’ meaning life under Islamic rule or a Muslim dominated nation.
And now, a few of the comments:
First, the usual relativist nonsense attempting to mitigate the horrors of Islam with the claim that Christianity was as bad or worse some time ago, so Islam should not be considered to be a great threat. I sincerely do not understand how this line of reasoning works because in my universe, if it was bad then, it is bad now so even if these ‘temporal relativists’ are correct it does nothing to mitigate Islam. In any event, here is the comment that inspired a great response:

In Catholic controlled lands, people? were put to death for Pagan or Jewish rituals. Jews were considered to be bad luck and kept under close guard in parts of the city then killed whenever something went wrong to appease “God”.
Scholars were generally suppressed, most of pre-Christiandom learning was destroyed in Europe because it contradicted the bible.
