British non-Muslim swimmers are told to wear burkinis

British swimming pools are imposing Muslim dress codes in a move described as divisive by Labour MPs.
Under the rules, swimmers – including non-Muslims – are barred from entering the pool in normal swimming attire.
Instead they are told that they must comply with the “modest” code of dress required by Islamic custom, with women covered from the neck to the ankles and men, who swim separately, covered from the navel to the knees.
The phenomenon runs counter to developments in France, where last week a woman was evicted from a public pool for wearing a burkini – the headscarf, tunic and trouser outfit which allows Muslim women to preserve their modesty in the water.
The 35-year-old, named only as Carole, is threatening legal action after she was told by pool officials in Emerainville, east of Paris, that she could not wear the outfit on hygiene grounds.
But across the UK municipal pools are holding swimming sessions specifically aimed at Muslims, in some case imposing strict dress codes.
Croydon council in south London runs separate one-and-a half-hour swimming sessions for Muslim men and women every Saturday and Sunday at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre.
Swimmers were told last week on the centre’s website that “during special Muslim sessions male costumes must cover the body from the navel to the knee and females must be covered from the neck to the ankles and wrists”.
There are similar rules at Scunthorpe Leisure Centre, in North Lincolnshire, where “users must follow the required dress code for this session (T-shirts and shorts/leggings that cover below the knee)”.
In Glasgow, a men-only swimming session is organised by a local mosque group at North Woodside Leisure Centre, at which swimmers must be covered from navel to knee.
At a women-only class organised by a Muslim teacher at Blackbird Leys Swimming Pool, Oxford, to encourage Muslim women to learn to swim, most participants wear “modest” outfits although normal costumes are permitted.

The Dutch broadcast organization VARA (Association of Worker Radio Amateurs) was once a Socialist broadcaster and nowadays is a left-wing and “multicultural” outfit. A while back VARA invited a stand-up comedian named Najib Amhali — a Moroccan immigrant who is part of the self-appointed multicultural elite (and has been caught a few times plagiarizing) — to tape a TV show in eight episodes to be broadcast on Friday evenings. The scheduling of the program, in the evening after another popular program, attracted a reasonable number of viewers for the first episodes (1.3 million). Quite a lot of the responses were negative, even on his fan-site, and judged it worse than his shows on stage.
In every episode Amhali wakes up from a dream and has a problem, each week on a different theme. In the program he looks for a solution. Sometimes he finds it, other times he doesn’t.”
In every feature Najib Amhali plays the role of the Cargo-Bike Imam in his item on Islam. According to the introduction to the series, this imam is “a children’s friend who crosses the country with fresh courage and the wrong ideas in his aim to convert people who stand open to his message. On questions like ‘Why do you never shake hands?’ and ‘Is it true that you throw gays from high rise buildings?’, the Cargo Bike Imam will always have a clear answer.”

Of course we all remember Muslims allowed to march with signs calling for the deaths of all who appose Islam in which noarrests were made. Or the protests in which Muslims hurled insults and whatever they could lift at police, again no arrests. It will be interesting to see who got arrested during this demo.
BBC…Police in Birmingham have arrested 31 people during protests by anti-fascists and a group demonstrating against Islamic fundamentalism.

One protest involved a group known as Casuals United, which police said were made up of local football fans.
Another “counter-protest” in the city centre was organised by United Against Fascism, West Midlands Police said.
The protest, which began at 1800 (BST), is ongoing and police said disorder had been sporadic.
A police spokeswoman said public safety was an “absolute priority”.
Speaking before the demonstration on the West Midlands Police website, Superintendent Matt Ward said there had been a similar protest against Islamic fundamentalism a month before which 70 to 90 people attended.
He said the police wanted to balance the rights of protestors with retailers and shoppers who wanted to use the city centre for their normal business.
Two people were injured in the disturbances which began at 1800 BST.
Police said there were “sporadic incidents of disturbance in the city centre” with the majority of the arrests being for disorder.
There was one report of criminal damage to a vehicle, but more were expected. No police officers were hurt.
‘Burning flag’
Resident Gary Nichols witnessed the disturbances from his city centre flat and said he was unable to go outside for about two and a half hours.
“It was very disheartening to see,” he told the BBC.
“I’ve never experienced anything like it before in the three years I’ve lived here.
“It started off with a group of white guys who were chanting ‘England, England’. I thought they were just football fans, but then a larger group of black and Asian people turned up and it all kicked off.
“You had people burning the Union flag. People were being kicked – some of them weren’t anything to do with the protests.
“It all seemed to be very systematic – groups were arriving in cars and getting involved in the violence.
“It really wasn’t nice to see and I hope I never see it again.”
Speaking before Saturday’s demonstrations, on the West Midlands Police website, Superintendent Matt Ward said there had been a similar protest against Islamic fundamentalism last month, involving 70 to 90 people.
He said July’s protest had been “vocal” but peaceful.

Expansion of Islamic Saudi Academy in Virginia Approved, Outraging Opponents

A controversial Saudi-funded academy that teaches strict adherence to traditional Islamic law has been given the green light to expand its Virginia campus — a decision by local officials that infuriates opponents who say the school’s teachings are anti-American.The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted 6-4 Monday to grant a zoning exemption to the Islamic Saudi Academy. The officials said the outcome was based strictly on zoning issues, not on what goes on in the school’s classrooms.That left some in the community outraged.
“How could they … say they are such fine students? They are fine students but they are learning the wrong thing,” academy critic Ruth Mizell said after the vote, according to MyFOXDC.com.
Jim Lafferty, another opponent, vowed political retaliation against the supervisors who supported the expansion.
“We need to resist these people, make it clear they may have bought six votes in there but they are not buying my vote,” said Lafferty, according to MyFOXDC. “We will support — even if it’s Pee-Wee Herman — we will support whoever is running against them.”
The academy was founded in 1984 and has some 1,000 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It is the only Saudi-funded school in the United States.
About 80 percent of its students are U.S. citizens from the area’s Muslim communities. Most students attend classes at a second campus in the Alexandria section of Fairfax.
The plans granted approval on Monday permit construction of a building that would eventually accommodate 500 students.
“The community will get an awful lot of development,” said supervisor Penelope A. Gross. “I think (it) will improve the community.”
The school has undergone a series of high-profile examinations of its religious curriculum, which has been revised repeatedly to remove passages that extolled militant jihad and martyrdom. In 2007, at least one textbook still said that the killing of adulterers and apostates was “justified.”
But students, parents and teachers say the school does not teach intolerance.
“Throughout my whole time in ISA, I’ve never been taught to hate anyone,” said Heba Rashed, 16, a junior at the school.
The school’s curriculum was revised at the start of the 2008-09 school year after the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom condemned its textbooks.
Critics of the academy say most of the offensive material has been taken out. But they say the textbooks clearly remain guided by Wahhabism, the fundamentalist school of Sunni Islam that is dominant in Saudi Arabia.
“The stuff about killing, it’s not there anymore,” said Ali Al-Ahmed, the head of the Institute for Gulf Affairs and a critic of the Saudi government, who got copies of the latest textbooks.
Al-Ahmed said references to jihad had been removed from the curriculum. He found that strange, because the idea — which in the Koran is described as “striving in the path of God,” and is not necessarily violent — was essential to Islam.
In the past, textbooks referred to the militant form of jihad. Al-Ahmed said he would have felt better if moderate references to jihad had been kept.
Attorney Lynne Strobel, who represented the academy, said she was pleased with the vote and said the school has undertaken efforts to reduce some of the potential traffic.
Muslims and Hindus drop infants in ceremonial baby-dropping ritual
Forget genies in a bottle, ghost-busters, yoga, crystal balls and cartoons. The New Zealand Herald covers the story of hundreds of infants being dropped from the rooftop of a mosque in Sholapur, western India about 450 miles south of Mumbai, in the belief that the fall, hopefully ending in the lucky catch of the child in a bed sheet, signals eventual good fortune for the family.
The ritual at the Baba Umer Durga, a Muslim shrine, has been followed for close to 700 years with hundreds of people both Hindu and Muslim taking part. Local television channels showed babies screaming while being shaken before being dropped while parents and other believers stood aground holding open bed sheets. With high child mortality rates, particularly in India’s rural areas, people view the ritual a guarantee of their child’s health.
Child welfare advocates continue to express outrage at the event. ” This shows the complete failure of the local administration to prevent this practice and to create awareness about children’s health” New Delhi civil right’s activist Ranjana Kumari said, adding ” it may be a reflection of a lack of access to health services leading people to behave in this irrational manner”.
Time to disband Canada’s biased HRC’s
Canada’s Human Right’s Tribunals are a farce and should be disbanded–for good. Lorne Gunter writes in today’s National Post of how the nation’s ‘out-of-control human right’s commissions have become far more biased than the very people they accuse of bigotry’. The following case is just one more example of how these quasi courts have ‘damaged the ancient concepts of the guilty mind and reasonable doubt’.

As if more proof were needed of how out-of-control Canada’s human-rights commissions have become, and what a threat they pose to impartial justice, along comes the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal’s ruling last month against Michael Shaw, a white Toronto police officer.
In the spring of 2005, Constable Shaw was patrolling the Bridal Path–a singularly wealthy Toronto neighbourhood composed of large mansions on sprawling multi-acre estates. Ronald Phipps, a black man, was criss-crossing a street in the Bridal Path, delivering letters in substitute for the regular mail carrier, who was away.
Even though Mr. Phipps was wearing a Canada Post uniform and carrying two official mail satchels, the officer thought his behaviour was unusual. For instance, Mr. Phipps returned to a home at which he had already delivered mail, and retrieved it.
So the officer followed Mr. Phipps for a short distance, then asked him for some identification. He ran his name through police computers, thanked him for his cooperation and sent him on his way. He also verified Mr. Phipps’ identity with a regular letter-carrier he knew in the area, a carrier who happened to be white.
From this series of events, Mr. Phipps gleaned that he had been racially profiled. He filed a complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, and, in June, adjudicator Kaye Joachim determined that the fact that Mr. Phipps “was an African-Canadian in an affluent neighbourhood was a factor, a significant factor, and probably the predominant factor, whether consciously or unconsciously, in Const. Shaw’s actions.” He found the officer guilty of discrimination.
Mr. Phipps admits that Const. Shaw never insulted him. He was not detained, not even briefly, nor was he arrested. He was asked for ID, thanked for producing it and permitted to go about his business. He was not tasered or struck with a club. No racial slurs were hurled at him.
He claims that since the incident he has been teased mercilessly by his co-workers. But that is their misbehaviour, not Const. Shaw’s.
He claims that since the incident, he has had trouble sleeping, has lost weight and is having difficulty fulfilling his second job as a personal trainer — all because a police officer asked him to produce some ID four years ago.
“This was always broader than Const. Shaw,” he told the Toronto Star (a newspaper that has made a self-parodic fetish of splashing this — and other insubstantial accusations of racism — on its front page). His comments make him sound like someone with a bigger cause in mind from the start, someone who may just have been waiting for a chance to lodge a complaint.
The most disturbing aspect of the case is the way the adjudicator, Mr. Joachim, has damaged the ancient concepts of the guilty mind and reasonable doubt.
While he could find no evidence that Const. Shaw knowingly discriminated against Mr. Phipps, the adjudicator said no evidence of intent was needed. Whether “consciously or unconsciously,” the policeman had offended Mr. Phipps by his actions; he had caused the letter-carrier to feel discriminated against and that was enough.

Guilt, now, apparently is solely in the mind of the complainant. No one needs to prove you had intent to discriminate, that you had a guilty mind. The minute a rights charge is levelled, it is up to you to establish your innocence.
And forget about “beyond a reasonable doubt.” Mr. Joachim found that “on the balance of probabilities,” Const. Shaw was guilty.
While a rights tribunal does not purport to be a real court, both are in the business of fact-finding, and the adjudication of rights and wrongs –and so must both be judged on that basis. Mr. Joachim’s assertion is similar to a Crown prosecutor arguing (and a judge accepting) the notion that a black man, or an aboriginal, immigrant or poor person, should be convicted of such-and-such a crime, even in the absence of conclusive evidence, because he is probably guilty.
Rights commissions were set up to be simple forums for settling discrimination complaints. They were never intended to be taxpayer-funded cudgels with which activists and grievers may beat their enemies without the expense of a court case, and without the need to follow the normal rules of due process.
As this case helps demonstrate, Canada’s human-rights commissions are horribly biased–far more biased than the people they accuse of bigotry –and need to be disbanded.

Canada: Hizb ut-Tahrir to meet this week in Ontario
On Friday, July 31, 2009, the Islamic supremacist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir will be holding another public conference, this time in the Ontario, Canada city of Mississauga. Unlike the July 19, 2009 Hizb ut-Tahrir conference which was held at a private facility in Chicago suburb Oak Lawn’s Hilton Hotel, the Canadian Hizb ut-Tahrir meeting will be held at a Canadian government-managed public facility, the Mississauga Valley Community Center.
1. Hizb ut-Tahrir Seeks to Promote Supremacism in Canada
The Islamic supremacist Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) Canadian event is publicized on the Hizb ut-Tahrir web site as being sponsored by “Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada” as part of HT’s “2009 Khilafah Campaign,” which included the July 19, 2009 HT event in the Chicago Oak Lawn, IL suburb. HT has advertised this event to be held at the Canadian govt-managed facility in Mississauga for: “Friday, July 31st, 6.30PM to 8.30PM, Frank Bean Lounge — Mississauga Valley Community Center, 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, L5A 3R8.” The HT Canada event has also been promoted by a Toronto, Canada website called “TorontoMuslims.com”. (R.E.A.L. contacted this Toronto Muslim website to ask why they were promoting such a supremacist organization’s event, and received no reply.)
The Hizb ut-Tahrir web site promoting the July 31 event in Canada also promotes a pamphlet (page 62) that supports killing those individuals who leave Islam as guilty of “treason and a political attack on the Khilafah.”
According to the Canadian Criminal Code Section 318:
“318. (1) Every one who advocates or promotes genocide is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.”
“(2) In this section, ‘genocide’ means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy in whole or in part any identifiable group, namely,”
“(a) killing members of the group; or”
“(b) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction…”
“(4) In this section, ‘identifiable group’ means any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation.”
Researcher Madeleine Gruen believes that U.S. member of HT Mohammad Malkawi may speak at the Canadian conference, because Mohammad Malkawi has previously given speeches in Canada. HT’s Mohammad Malkawi moderated the July 19 HT conference in Chicago suburb of Oak Lawn.
2. Efforts to Alert Canadian Government Agencies to HT Supremacist Meeting at Govt-Managed Facility
Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) has attempted to contact the Mississauga government to make them aware of the supremacist nature of the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization that it has rented use of the Mississauga Valley Community Centre Frank Bean Lounge facility to for their July 31 conference. After speaking to a representative at the Community Centre (905-615-4670), we were re-directed to the Mississauga government agency involved in booking the Frank Bean Lounge facility, the Mississauga government recreation and parks department (905-615-4100, choose “facility booking”).
R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm spoke to a manager with the Mississauga recreation and parks department on this, and she stated that they are “looking into this.” The Mississauga recreation and parks manager also stated the person who made the booking of the Frank Bean Lounge facility for the Canadian Hizb ut-Tahrir meeting had held “previous meetings” there, and Mississauga “never had any problems or issues” with them. On the Mississauga web site regarding renting such facilities, one of the primary concerns is the use of such facilities in terms of serving alcoholic beverages.
In addition, R.E.A.L.’s Jeffrey Imm contacted the diversity relations unit of Mississauga local law enforcement — highlighting that the group promoting the Canadian HT event – is also promoting a brochure that calls for the death penalty for Muslims who leave Islam as guilty of “treason and a political attack on the Khilafah” (page 62).
3. Contact Canadian and Mississauga Legislators
We urge those concerned about the growing threat of the Hizb ut-Tahrir supremacist movement and its efforts to justify violence against those who seek freedom of religion to contact Canadian and Mississauga legislators to voice their outrage about this supremacist group using a Mississauga facility. Apparently, this is not the first time such proponents of Hizb ut-Tahrir’s supremacist ideology have used Canadian public facilities either. Contact Canadian and Mississauga government officials to get an answer as to why Canadian public facilities are being used to spread such supremacist hate.

Blackout: Violence in France

The French Interior Ministry has issued orders to the prefects not to communicate to the media the crime statistics for the nights of July 13-15. The cartoon at the top shows Marianne, the woman symbolizing the French Republic, watching the “official” weather report, “More sun tomorrow” it says, as it pours outside. Le Monde has a long article about the news blackout:
[…] Only the figures for the night of July 13-14 were published: “Some 500 vehicles” were burned, the worst ever recorded for the eve of the national holiday. Despite repeated requests to the Interior Ministry, and the DGPN [similar to the FBI], no figures were forthcoming for the night of July 14-15. These orders have been strictly applied. The different prefectures contacted by Le Monde refused to respond, citing “ministerial instructions.” Regional news media reported the same problem. The daily La Provence issued an unofficial report that was much less favorable than 2008: 41 cars and a day-care center in Marseilles burned. […]
Other local papers describe the same problems. In Reims, the daily L’Union denounces the attitude of the authorities: “Yesterday morning, every journalist who came, even for the smallest piece of news, to the firemen, or gendarmes or police, heard the same answer: ‘No fires’. In fact, the truth is quite different. Some of those we questioned admitted under their breath: ‘We cannot say anything about the fires. We have received orders.” In Lyons, the daily Le Progrès reports the same blackout: “Orders not to speak on the radio were given to firemen, gendarmes and police.”In previous years the radio network Europe 1 had systematically called the prefectures to verify the official counts. On January 1, 2008, the DGPN reported 372 burnt cars for New Year’s Eve vs 746 reported by Europe 1. Finally the ministry of the interior admitted that there had been 878 fires. “Instructions” given to the prefectures henceforth forbid this type of verification.
Some bits of news have leaked through. An article at the conservative blog François Desouche (based on a report in the newspaper Le Parisien) describes the use of firecrackers against the police, in the suburb of Tremblay-en-France, department of Seine-Saint-Denis. This was the second time in a few weeks that police on patrol were drawn to a group of youths. Masked by their clothing they threw firecrackers and rocks at the police.
Also, in the city of Evry, four or five large packs of firecrackers were stolen by a group of hooded individuals who broke into the fair grounds thanks to the inadequate number of guards. Agnès Moutet-Lamy, the spokesman for the Socialist mayor made light of the event: “That can always happen. There’s nothing to worry about.” However, Jean-Charles Béraud, an expert in pyrotechnics, stated that firecrackers “can become a monstrously dangerous weapon. A mortar can be propelled 120 meters and create an explosion 80 meters in diameter. It can kill someone. Even one large firecracker can rip apart a hand.”
Using the daily La Provence as its source, another article at François Desouche relates the violence in Marseilles on the night of July 14: A fire ravaged 5 hectares close to residences.
Two helicopters pouring water on the fire and a fierce battle waged by the marine firemen were needed to bring the fire under control. A day-care center was partially burned. A row of cypress trees bordering a nursery school went up in smoke. One individual was arrested as he threw rockets on the marine firemen who had come to put out a trash can fire. Fires were set in the four corners of one neighborhood, while trash cans and cars burned in others, notably with the help of Molotov cocktails. While the firemen went on one call after the other, the police fell into what appears to be an ambush. Bullets were fired at them and diverse projectiles were thrown in their direction. One policeman was slightly injured by a rock. The anti-crime brigade arrested one individual in possession of a 22-caliber rifle.
People of the UK, it’s time to destroy the BBC.
The BBC has morphed from what was once a brilliant and accurate news service into a post-modern, British-hating, Christian-loathing, and Islam-promoting propaganda service at UK taxpayers’ expense. Surely in a democracy you decent folks of the UK can find a way to force your government to end the BBC as a publicly funded institution. Or is the UK now truly a government with a people instead of the other way around?
To understand my rage please read the following two BBC religion tests, one on Christianity and the other on Islam. After you do, come back here and let’s compare notes:
I do not have enough time left in this life to write up all that is wrong with these two tests. But let’s see if we can cover at least a few points and argue about which are the most important.

The questions for Islam are clearly designed to show that Islam in fact better represents secular values and ironically even Christian ones better than Christianity does according to the test on Christianity. It does so with outright misrepresentation and, dare I say, lie, lies of omission, mostly, such as in question #1, where it makes a claim to racial and human equality and fails to mention the dozens of places where Mohamed is reputed to have said that Jews are sons of monkeys and pigs, where women are created deficient and sharia law requires two and sometimes four female witnesses to equal one man, which never happens in reality, or how blacks are invariably referred to as slaves wherever they appear in Islamic scripture, as Arabic does not have a word for blacks which does not mean ‘slaves,’ not 1400 years ago and not now.
Here are a few choice omissions from question 1 of the Muslim test:
Muslims are told that Africans have hearts “grosser than a donkey” (Surah 9:61) . Ishaq: 243 “I heard the Apostle say: ‘Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!’ He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks…. Allah sent down concerning him: ‘To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful punishment.” [Surah 9:61] “Gabriel came to Muhammad and said, ‘If a black man comes to you his heart is more gross than a donkey’s.’”Yet and still Louis Farrakan and his followers will tell us the lie that Christianity is the white man’s religion.
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah’s Apostle said, “You should listen to and obey, your ruler even if he was an Ethiopian (black) slave whose head looks like a raisin.” (Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 89, Number 256)Hadith; vol.9:162,163: Muhammad warned that dreams of black women meant disease was forthcoming. The C.A.F. responds to the National Post. With Pure taqyyia bullshit
First, you may or may not have seen the National Post’s handling of the opinion of some senior members of the Canada Arab Federation towards Canada, a land which took these people in presumably when their own nations had become so inhospitable that it was easier to move to Canada away from all friends, family, language, familiar surroundings, religion and decent weather. I would also wager that most of those in the CAF had come as refugees as opposed to legal immigrants but that is a small matter.
When the NP pointed out these opinions one CAF member responded with a blog post of his own resorting to the predictable sanctimony of alleged mistreatment of aboriginals in Canada and saying he would never accept Canada Day until they did.

I will celebrate “Canada Day” when the natives doBy Omar Shaban
This statement is in response to all the speculations and assumptions made about me in the media regarding a position that I took in a personal message on facebook. My facebook status did read “F*** Canada Day”, and it was followed by a few other comments in response to some of the questions that people posted. Some consider that taking this position is disgraceful and shameful but I tend to disagree.
First of all, my statement clearly did not reflect CAF’s position; it was my own personal opinion.
Secondly, I said “F*** Canada Day” and I regret the dark history that this country has. On our silent government’s behalf, I apologize to the indigenous people for this, and sincerely wish it had not happened to you. I apologize to the indigenous people of Canada because their feelings are not taken into consideration at “Canada Day” celebrations. I apologize to them because they had to be slaughtered, killed, massacred, diseased and dispossessed to establish Canada. And I apologize to the indigenous people because they continue to live in reserves under miserable and dire conditions that no so-called “Canadian” would accept to live under.
I also apologize for being a citizen of a country that followed George Bush’s orders and went to Afghanistan. I apologize for being a citizen of a country that imposed sanctions on the Palestinian people because they followed Canada’s own advice and elected a new government democratically. I apologize because it was Canada’s own Lester Pearson that masterminded the notorious Partition Plan of Palestine, and it was Canada’s own Paul Martin who compared Canada’s values with Israel’s values, and it was Canada’s own Michael Ignatieff who legitimized Israel’s onslaught on Gaza in Dec 08/Jan 09.
I did not resign from CAF because “it was felt that [I] had to correct that” and that “[I] decided that the best thing for [me] to do was to resign” (http://www.torontosun.com/news/canada/2009/07/02/9997971-sun.html); I resigned from CAF because I do not want to be part of an organization that openly refuses to acknowledge Canada’s colonial and shameful history.
We are only lying to ourselves if we deny the dark past that Canada was founded on. Canada Day is seen as tragic by its true indigenous population. When Canada Day is celebrated for true freedom and not mourned by the indigenous population of Canada for its colonial and dark past, I will gladly show them my support. When the country I was born in, shames me with its colonial mindset, I refuse to celebrate it, and will not apologize for refusing to do so.
I WILL celebrate Canada Day, only when it is accepted as legitimate by the indigenous people.

Perhaps it is time to have a look at how aboriginal people are treated in the Islamic world. They do not get special land rights. They do not own casinos. They do not have the unfettered right to their own religion, beliefs, and history and have it subsidized by the Muslim majority. Let’s have a look:

Research by anthropologist Ian McIntosh shows that contact between Aboriginals and the Muslim Macassan fishermen was extremely disruptive with an evil power entering Aboriginal society for ever. The result was Aboriginals learned they were ‘black’ and came to believe they lost power and wealth to the ‘white’ other (Muslim Macassans) and will forever be impoverished and dominated! Islam is targeting Aboriginals by feeding them a false rosy picture of the first contact with Muslims who came to take from Aboriginal land along with false tales of ‘similarities’ etc! At a recent Brisbane conference ‘Challenges and Opportunities for Islam and the West – The Case of Australia’ (3-5/3/08), Ms Peta Stephenson presented a paper ‘Reaffirming Aboriginality through Allah: Indigenous Muslims in Australia’ promoting this rosy view, absurdly linking Aboriginality with Islam and promoting the view that the world was Muslim! In reality Aboriginality is destroyed by Islam (see also parts 2, 3 – to come).

So, before Omar the Canadian Arab Federation ingrate starts to pretend that in some way he has a right to shit all over the nation who foolishly and mistakenly took him and hundreds of thousands of his people in and then justify it with the gossamer thin rationanalization of evil deeds done to aboriginals some hundreds of years ago well, people who live in glass houses Omar. Have a look at what Arabs and Muslims are doing NOW all over the world. While Darfur may be the most horrifying contemporary example it is by no means the only one.
For anyone as yet unconvinced, you may want to read Sword of the Prophet by Serge Trifkovic cover to cover. This book will explain what Islam does to aboriginal culture. The respect it shows and the museums it builds to the customs, music, and art of aboriginal peoples wherever Muslims find them.
Suffice it to say, your taxes will not go up to pay for these institutions.

It is worth noting that unlike the Canadian Arab Federation who have a large part of their budget paid by the Canadian Government AKA the Dhimmi taxpayers, people like Kitman, Jdamn and Grace have devoted their free time to studying Islam and other threats to western liberal democracy at their own expense. The fact that so many people choose to devote so much of themselves and at their own expense often working harder to earn the money to study and blog alone should offer some idea of the severity of the threat in North America and Europe offered by Islam and irrational leftism.
