I have had this tab open for a few days waiting for a chance to read the article and watch the video in it. The video, which I redid because it had about 40 seconds of test pattern and whistle before it, shows how even the nation touted as an example of how miscible Islam can be with the rest of the world, in fact jails people for “long periods of time” for converting people away from Islam. Third man on bail in Muslim lashing case

A third man accused of whipping a Muslim man for drinking alcohol has been granted bail despite police claiming he threatened the victim and may have organised the alleged attack.
Zakaryah Raad, 20, faced Burwood Local Court on Friday over the incident at a unit in Silverwater in Sydney’s west in the early hours of July 17.
Christian Martinez, 31, was allegedly restrained by four men who broke into his flat and lashed him 40 times with an electric cable as punishment under Islamic law, or sharia, for drinking alcohol.
The court heard Raad, from Guildford, was arrested on Thursday in the backyard of the Melton Street apartment block where Mr Martinez lived.
He was charged with breaking and entering, resisting arrest and detaining a person.
He was also charged with two counts of stealing and two counts of intending to influence a witness.
In granting bail, Magistrate Tim Keddy said he accepted Raad was at the apartment block to visit his boss, who also lived there, and not to “threaten, influence or intimidate” Mr Martinez. Continue Reading →

VIOLENCE IN CITY: Rampage in Temple Bar area

A MOB went on a wave of random race violence on Temple Bar, which left five Dubliners with horrific injuries.
One man — a Dublin DJ — was almost killed in the attack as he suffered serious head injuries when he was set upon by the gang.
The level of violence has shocked gardai and the many witnesses to the race hate orgy — believed to be the first of its kind in the city.
One member of the African gang was arrested today in pre-dawn raids by detectives across the capital.
Five Dubliners, all aged in their 20s, were left with horrific injuries in the October 2010 attacks, which have only come to light now.

The gang — all aged in their late teens — savagely attacked six Irish people in the Temple Bar area of the capital in the early hours of October 10 last.
The gang, who are heavily involved in other street robberies and beatings, are all expected to appear in court.
Sources say that even seasoned detectives were left “horrified and shocked” by the extreme level of violence used in the attacks which occurred in the Eustace Street and Curved Street areas of Temple Bar at around 3.30am on the date in question.
A senior source explained: “We believe that what happened on the night was motivated by racism — that is racism against white people.

Train Attacked in Marseille

In Marseille, as in many other French cities, crime is part of the landscape. Besides drug trafficking that took root a very long time ago, other, equally grave, events take place every day in the Phocaean capital.
Note: “Phocaean capital” is the French nickname for Marseille. The city was founded by the sea-faring Greek Phocaeans in 600 B.C. and named Massalia.
Last night, a passenger train, the Regional Express (TER), was blocked violently, at the risk of causing a serious accident. Huge quantities of objects had been thrown onto the rails in the Nord districts of Marseille, by “a group of about twenty young people” said AFP (Agence France Presse). According to the Télégramme, the locomotive was damaged when it brutally struck a shopping cart. A freight train that was following behind was in turn blocked by the TER but fortunately did not hit it. The “young people” could not get into the TER, but the freight train became the scene of a veritable razzia.
Note: The “young people” wore hoods, according to L’Humanité.
We won’t discuss the designation “young people” used by the lobby of political correctness and “newspeak” that the AFP represents. This crime took place near the Ruisseau Mirabeau ghetto in the 15th arrondissement, a ghetto where immigrants of all origins are concentrated.

Dr Mohammed Kassim Al-Byati was given a permit to work as a doctor in the NHS by the Labour government in 2004.
Checks failed to uncover his history of working for the notorious Iraqi Intelligence Agency, which ran the country in a reign of terror during the Saddam years.
His job was to patch up torture victims so that they could be subjected to more appalling treatment.
In 2007, Al-Byati contacted the Home Office to confess to his horrific past so that he could claim asylum.

Long-time readers will remember a notorious incident on September 11th, 2007, in Schuman Square in Brussels. On that occasion, leaders of the Flemish independence party Vlaams Belang were assaulted, knocked to the ground, surrounded by jack-booted police, handcuffed, and taken away to jail.
Their crime? Peacefully protesting the Islamization of Flanders.
The jackboots, handcuffs, and paddy wagons were back in force again today in Brussels, almost four years later. This time the leaders of Vlaams Belang were chased down and arrested for putting up street signs declaring an independent Flanders.

Eritrean Christians fleeing persecution in their homeland are facing imprisonment, torture, beatings and sexual assault in Egypt, reports Barnabas Fund.
The charity, which supports the persecuted church worldwide, estimates that hundreds of Eritrean Christian refugees have been subjected to terrible abuse after arriving in Egypt.
Egypt is the most popular destination for Christians escaping from Eritrea, one of the most hostile countries in the world for followers of the faith.
In Eritrea, Christians and evangelicals in particular are viewed as a threat to national security because of their allegiance to God before the state.
As a result, many of them are tortured and imprisoned for their faith in conditions described by Barnabas Fund as “horrendous”.
Persecution has intensified in recent months after an Eritrean governor ordered a purge against Christians at the end of 2010.
The charity said hundreds of Eritrean Christians were risking their lives each month to enter Egypt, where they go in the hope of eventually being able to cross the border into Israel.
A Channel 4 documentary, “Breaking into Israel”, last week charted the harsh 900-mile journey made by Eritrean refugees, some of whom die before reaching their destination.
