Islamic Cleric Says ‘There Will be Blood in the Streets” when Hundreds of Muslims from Britain Attend Burqa Ban Protest in Belgium.

Anjem Choudary also issued a statement that if Sayeeda Warsi female politician would visit Muslim community she might face violence against her.

Sayeed Warsi has been slammed by the Islamic fundamentalists who warned she could be in physical danger if she visits Muslim communities.

She is the 39 year old and first female Muslim to be given full Cabinet position. It also has been stated by Anjem Choudary that she has betrayed her religion. According to him  “She may look like a Muslim and have a Muslim-sounding name but she does not ­represent Islam or anyone in this country who is a Muslim.
She is a ‘coconut’, brown on the outside but white on the inside.
“In fact, she is whiter than most of the other white people in government.
“She is a disgrace and many true Muslims are angry that she claims to stand for Islam despite betraying Allah.”
Anjem choudary whose group Islam4UK was banned by the last government has predicted that Warsi would become the focus of hate.

He said: “She will be attacked by eggs every time she goes near a Muslim community. “Some more extreme protesters may take the attacks further. There is no doubt she is in danger.”

Choudary and his supporter will be heading to Brussels on Saturday to join a protest agains Belgium’s bid to ban the burka.
He said:
“There will be hundreds of Muslims from Britain heading to Belgium to join with thousands of our brethren to fight against this tyranny.

“We will fight all attempts to destroy ­Islam.
“There will be blood on the streets.”

LAHORE: Pakistani human rights activists are perturbed by the erosion of minority rights, particularly the alarming frequency with which cases of forcible conversion of the country’s Hindu nationals are surfacing.

In a latest case of forced conversion, the head of a religious seminary in Rahim Yar Khan district of Pakistani Punjab first abducted a minor Hindu girl and then stopped her from meeting her parents, saying the girl had converted to Islam and no longer wanted to meet her “non-Muslim relatives”.

According to Mehnga Ram, the father of the 13 year old Hindu girl, his daughter Radha was abducted in December 2009 and since then she is not being allowed to see her parents. “Since her abduction, we have knocked on every door stretching from the president of Pakistan to the chief minister of Punjab, but to no avail. In fact, local police, including the district police officer of Rahim Yar Khan are supporting those who had abducted Radha”.

He adds: “The police authorities are neither registering a first information report (FIR) against the accused, nor are they taking any action to recover the girl from the custody of Abdul Jabbar”. Mehnga Ram said his daughter had been missing since December 21, 2009, and the family had searched for her everywhere. CAIRO (AFP) – A Cairo court on Saturday upheld a ruling to strip Egyptian men married to Israeli women of their citizenship in a case that has highlighted national sentiment towards Israel.
Judge Mohammed al-Husseini, sitting on the Supreme Administrative Court, said the interior ministry must ask the cabinet to take the necessary steps to strip Egyptian men married to Israeli women, and their children, of their citizenship.
The court said that each case should be considered separately, in a ruling that cannot be appealed.
The ruling reflects Egyptian sentiment towards Israel, more than 30 years after Egypt signed an unpopular peace deal with the Jewish state.
Before reading the verdict, Husseini said the case would not apply to Egyptian men married to Arab Israeli women.
“The case for (Egyptian) men married to Israeli Arab women is different to those married to Israeli women of Jewish origin because (Israeli Arabs) have lived under Israeli occupation,” Husseini told the court. Continue Reading →

Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) — At one of Baghdad’s two female juvenile prisons, the young Iraqi girls live in limbo, sadness and desperation permeating every aspect of their interrupted lives.

Some face punishment for prostitution. Others are charged with ties to terrorism. And then there are the victims, also behind bars.

Fifteen-year-old Zeina’s sad journey to prison began two years ago when she says was sold into sex slavery. “My father came and took me to go visit my grandfather in Syria,” says Zeina, “and I went with him.”

The family trip turned out to be a cover story, and Zeina found herself faced with the most horrific possible reality. She says she was then forcefully taken from Syria to the United Arab Emirates and sold into sexual slavery.

But Zeina refused to surrender to such a horrendous fate. And when the opportunity presented itself, she ran away. “I’m proud of myself,” explains Zeina. “I turned myself into the police and decided not to stay in that situation.” Continue Reading →

What is rather interesting, is that this spokesman appeared on the Madeley show on CFRA Ottawa, to advocate for giving more powers to the Canadian Human Rights Commission in order to silence criticism of Islam as ‘Islamophobic’. However was fast on the draw to explain to Steve how “We are all entitled to our opinions”. Look Sameer, you cant have it both ways. Either you want the CHRC to control me, or only you are entitled to an opinion. My opinion is that Islam is fascist and the sooner rid of it the better.

Three Saudi youths (none pictured here) who will appear on an upcoming episode of MTV’s reality show True Life could face punishments including prison and lashing for their on-air discussion of wanting more freedoms in their homeland. One girl, Fatima, tried to open a business selling cloaks in colours other than black.

Three Saudi youth may face punishment for appearing on the MTV reality show True Life to talk about ways they’re resisting the country’s strict morality, after the Saudi religious police filed a lawsuit against them for the crime of “openly declaring sin.”

The police are trying to drag the three into court and, if successful, charge them. The teens starred in an episode of the MTV documentary series, which originally aired in Saudi Arabia on May 24, called “Resist the Power! Saudi Arabia.” The program followed three characters, identified only by their first names: Aziz, who tries to meet his girlfriend for a date; Fatima, who tries to open a business selling cloaks in colours other than black; and Ahmad, who thinks women should be able to run for and hold elected office.

On the show, Aziz says, “We are not free to live as we like,” and describes the difficulty he experiences when trying to go on dates in Jeddah with his girlfriend.

An officer at the Jeddah court said it would take at least a week to decide whether to proceed to trial.

The Saudi judiciary system, based on an austere reading of Islamic sharia law, metes out harsh punishments for morality offences, sometimes including lashes with a whip and years of imprisonment. Last year, a Saudi named Mazen Abdul-Jawad was sentenced to 1,000 lashes and five years in prison for discussing his sexual affairs on a show televised by the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation.

“It will be very difficult to stop the religious clockwork once this gets to court,” a Saudi lawyer told Reuters yesterday. The True Life subjects “may face harsh sanctions like those dealt to Abdul-Jawad.”

Comment worth noting: Canadian Somali Conference more significant than its billing suggests?

Reader Khadra is back with another warning.  Regular readers may remember we had an interesting exchange with Khadra, a Somali woman,  here almost two weeks ago.   Last night Khadra was back with more concerning information in response to my post on May 26th about the US terror warning to border states about Somalis illegally entering the US.

This is what she says (emphasis is mine):

This isn’t surprising at all and it is too little too late. The Somalis are unwilling to assimilate, but they are willing to make everything their own: schools, malls, stores, mosques, and even districts. There are two kinds of these Islamists: 1. The one who has brought his ideologies overseas, and 2. The young ones who were brainwashed that live in the U.S.A. When one goes down the drain the other raises up its a continuous cycle.

3 weeks ago I attended (I had to) the First Annual Somali Islamic Conference which brought over 3,000 Somalis across the GTA [Greater Toronto Area] in Canada. Surprisingly the main point of this conference was: to build Islamic schools across Toronto and for Somalis to be able to have control over their children (as they say they don’t like or trust public schools and their children to attend them), to start Somali language and Arabic classes, to merge the biggest Somali mosques in Toronto: Abu Hurairah and Khalid bin Walid into one big mosque, the establishment of the MBA (Muslim Basketball Association, already established, trying to be as high and famous as the NBA), to form the Islamic Somali Imam’s Council of North America, etc.

This shows that the Somalis are coming to the move of where they want to establish a Shariah based laws in the West and its already heading in that direction. The conference was the first of its kind to gather all Somalis living in Canada and might extend to the United States.

All the preachers and Shiekhs of the conference were not surprisingly of either Somali, Arab, and or Pakistani descend. They came from all over the world: Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, etc. for this conference and they had a great impact on the people because I have witnessed people literally in religious hypnosis mode (chanting prayers in Arabic or Somali) and some were even crying in agreement to the Shiekhs. So you see and know where this is heading.

Islamic masters win another round.

Pakistan has lifted a ban on Facebook after the social networking site apologised for a page deemed offensive to Muslims and removed its contents.

Two weeks ago Facebook was blocked after a member used it to encourage people to post images of the Prophet Mohamed.

Slick AP Stylebook submission. What I refer to is the reference to “the Prophet Mohamed” — not “the Islamic prophet Mohammed,” or, as my 1988 AP Stylebook suggests, just “Mohammed,” period, described as “the founder of the Islamic religion.”

“In response to our protest, Facebook has tendered their apology and informed us that all the sacrilegious material has been removed,” said Najibullah Malik, from the information technology ministry. But at least 1,000 “sacrilegious” web pages that were also blocked will remain inaccessible.

Pathetic.

Another AP report on the story adds:

Facebook assured the Pakistani government that “nothing of this sort will happen in the future,” said Malik.

Good social-dhimmi networking site.

The New York Times fills in with more gory details, including results of a recent poll of 8,000 Pakistani voters, 73 percent of whom wanted Facebook permanently banned, and the emergence of two Muslim social networking sites (“Pakistan” does mean “land of the pure [Muslim],” after all). The Times then wonders: “But where are Pakistan’s liberal and moderate voices?”

It doesn’t matter where they are. What matters is that they ain’t got no stinkin’ critical mass to make a dime’s worth of difference.

Meanwhile, in this video (below), the Pakistani Lawyers Forum gives off a strong whiff of an impression that Facebook’s submission just isn’t good enough.

Frankly, I have always disliked facebook as it will not allow you to delete your own account just ‘deactivate it’ but all your information stays there. It also seems to play fast and loose with other peoples information and people do steal identities there and send virus’s around using stolen facebook identities. However this is the worst thing of all. Facebook does a total cave in to the most intolerant and illiberal force on earth. LAHORE, Pakistan – Pakistan lifted a ban on Facebook on Monday after officials from the social networking site apologized for a page deemed offensive to Muslims and removed its contents, a top information technology official said.

The move came almost two weeks after Pakistan imposed the ban amid anger over a page that encouraged users to post images of Islam’s Prophet Muhammad. Many Muslims regard depictions of the prophet, even favorable ones, as blasphemous.

“In response to our protest, Facebook has tendered their apology and informed us that all the sacrilegious material has been removed from the URL,” said Najibullah Malik, secretary of Pakistan’s information technology ministry, referring to the technical term for a Web page.

Facebook assured the Pakistani government that “nothing of this sort will happen in the future,” Malik said.

Officials from the website could not immediately be reached for comment. They said earlier the contents of the “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!” page did not violate Facebook’s terms.

The page encouraged users to post images of the prophet to protest threats made by a radical Muslim group against the creators of the American TV series “South Park” for depicting Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode earlier this year.

Pakistan blocked Facebook on May 19 following a ruling by one of the country’s highest courts. The Lahore High Court reversed its ruling Monday because of Facebook’s response, Malik said.

As of midday, access to Facebook inside Pakistan was still restricted. But Malik said the government has issued instructions for Internet service providers to restore access to the website.

Users outside the country confirmed the page that sparked the recent uproar was no longer accessible.

The government will continue to block some Web pages that contain “sacrilegious material,” but Malik declined to specify which ones.

The Facebook controversy sparked a handful of protests across Pakistan, many by student members of radical Islamic groups. Some of the protesters carried signs advocating holy war against the website for allowing the page.

Bangladesh also decided to block Facebook on Sunday but said it would restore access to the site if the offensive material was removed.

It is not the first time that images of the prophet have sparked anger. Pakistan and other Muslim countries saw large and sometimes violent protests in 2006 when a Danish newspaper published cartoons of Muhammad, and again in 2008 when they were reprinted. Later the same year, a suspected al-Qaida suicide bomber attacked the Danish Embassy in Islamabad, killing six people.

Anger over the Facebook controversy also prompted the Pakistani government to block access to YouTube briefly, saying there was growing sacrilegious content on the video sharing website. The government restored access to YouTube last week but said it would continue to block videos offensive to Muslims that are posted on the site.

Home Secretary Theresa May faces outrage after her officials allowed an Islamic hate-preacher to enter Britain.

Zakir Naik, who has said ‘every Muslim should be a terrorist’ and claimed Western women are easy rape targets because of their revealing clothes, is to speak in a tour of the country.

But his arrival appears to fly in the face of earlier Tory pledges to oppose radical Islam and attempts to keep extremists out of the UK.

When the Indian last came to Britain in 2006, David Davies – the Conservative MP for Monmouth – described him as a ‘hate-monger’.

But the Home Office, however, indicated that they are not planning to ban Naik, a doctor who preaches on the satellite channel Peace TV.

So the Prime Minister David Cameron and Mrs May now face a political test over how tough their stance will remain now they are in government.

Naik, who will appear at London’s Wembley Arena and in Sheffield,  has been described by some moderate Muslims as a ‘truth-twister’.

In a recent lecture, he said he was ‘with’ Osama Bin Laden over the attacks on ‘terrorist America’, adding that the 9/11 hijackings were an inside job by President George W Bush, the Sunday Times reports.

‘I don’t know what he’s doing’ he said about Bin Laden. I’m not in touch with him. I don’t know him personally. If he is terrorising the terrorists, if he is terrorising America the terrorist … I am with him. Every Muslim should be a terrorist,’ said Naik about the US President.

The rancorous Naik is a doctor by profession and can recite long passages from the Quran by rote, his distinguished educational background and knowledge set him apart from the usual ‘mad mullah’ category.

However, he has called for all Muslims who change their faith to be executed.

The resident of Mumbai reserves the harshest criticism for Americans.

‘In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives. Many say, ‘You sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife’. If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs,’ he said describing the American way of life.

The uproar over his visit follows on the heels of a similar incident involving controversial preacher, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, an Egyptian radical.

The Tories were then in the Opposition and had vehemently campaigned for a ban on entry into Britain for al-Qaradawi.

One well-placed insider told the paper: ‘Zakir Naik is a nasty man who makes al-Qaradawi look like a participant at a teddy bears’ picnic. He shouldn’t be allowed into the country to stir up hatred.’

The UK Border Agency, a Home Office department, said: ‘Each case is considered on its own merits.

‘When assessing a visa application, we will consider the previous conduct of the individual and we will ensure the UK does not provide a platform for the promotion of violent extremism.’
