I wonder how this got by the BBC censors. It actually shows Islam for what it is instead of the party line of, ‘UnIslamic activities’ which is how the English government and the BBC usually soft soap this sort of story.

This was quite good. The calls and the information were all very good. For me, the most interesting call was the fellow who was being ethnically cleansed from his own neighbourhood and was having a very hard time admitting to himself his own experience.

British Muslims threaten UK videographer and establish primacy for sharia and Muslims in England
The Islamic roots of the Arab slave trade
There has been a great deal of discussion on this topic recently so I thought it time to revisit this:
Extreme Dawa Downunder.
Recently here in Australia, there’s been an islamic convert in the news.
Ibrahim Siddiq-Conlon is no shrinking violet when it comes to speaking his piece.
He was recently gave an interview on the radio station 2UE in Sydney.
If you listen to Ibrahim, his tone is quite reasonable. This is because he’s trying to persuade us peacefully, as he’s supposed to.
That’s all well and good, but of course keeping it nice means that he can’t answer a question about bringing the stoning of adulterers into the legislation here. He can only dance around it and say, “Oh, not that old thing.”
Unfortunately for Ibrahim (formerly Shannon), those sorts of practices under sharia law are rather well-known, and have been getting plenty of airplay.
Another thing to consider is that there are muslims in Australia who agree with the message, but not the way it’s presented.
In Ibrahim’s case, he’s out and proud when it comes to sharia, even to the extent of participating in a public debate on the subject.
He thinks it’s inevitable, but there are a lot of people who disagree with him.
People like his debating partner Jack:
00:10 Masked audience member: My question is, what are you gonna do the day the mujahadin, the sons of allah come here, whether by air by plane [?] or by foot?
0:21 Jack: When I was sixteen years of age, I gave an oath to defend this country against all enemies foreign and domestic. I have not been relinquished [sic] of that oath.
One last point that Ibrahim seems to have forgotten, and muslims don’t seem to get. Here in Australia, we are known for taking the mickey out of people. People who are full of themselves, who presume to tell others what to do.
We don’t take too kindly to being ordered around, and we find ways to puncture pomposity:

Interview with Clare Lopez and David B Harris Jan 17th 2011
This is part 1, 2 and 3 of what will probably end up as a four part video that I shot of Clare Lopez, former CIA and senior fellow of the Centre for Security policy in Washington as well as David B Harris who was chief of strategic planning for CSIS and a Canadian Lawyer and is now with INSIGNIS.
I filmed this interview about the threat of Iran and sharia law the afternoon that we were supposed to show the film Iranium at the National Archives and around an hour before it all hit the fan in terms of the threats and the cancellation and so on.
I hope you find it as interesting as I do. I find it more so in light of the events that immediately followed. I also have a gut suspicion that the reasons behind the cancellation are darker, more insidious, as well as more serious than anyone has let on publicly so far. This, just from putting together ‘info-crumbs’ not worth posting yet.

Mideast sources fund controversial mosque
Stewart Bell, National Post, Thursday, January 20, 2011.
TORONTO — The mosque of outspoken Imam Aly Hindy, described in a RCMP report as “a focal point for Toronto area Islamic radicals,” has received hundreds of thousands of dollars from donors in the Middle East since 2009, the National Posthas learned.
Foreign institutions have donated more than $650,000 to the Salaheddin Islamic Centre for renovations and an expansion of an Islamic school. It is the first time the mosque has received money from outside Canada.
Imam Hindy said that by securing funding from outside Canada the Toronto mosque was preserving Muslim culture, helping the local construction industry and employing Canadians and new immigrants in the education field while saving the public school system money.
“It is obvious that if we find money here, we will not ask other countries for help,” Imam Hindy said. “We always hear complaints about immigrants taking money from the system. So when we are able to bring money from outside, you should be thankful instead of implying this nonsense of allegations.”
Imam Hindy is known for his controversial views. He says he has officiated or blessed 30 polygamous marriages around Toronto, and that he would follow Islamic law if it conflicted with Canada’s laws. He has defended accused terrorists and says Canadian authorities have long monitored his mosque. A New York Police Department report calls Salaheddin “a known radical mosque.” Continue Reading →

Christian women attacked, publicly humiliated in Lahore based on false blasphemy accusations
by Jibran Khan Asia News It
Victims are now in a safe place because of the danger of more violence. A mob of angry Muslims beat and humiliated the two women, who are mother and daughter. The incident was triggered by a domestic dispute between them and the Muslim wife of their son and brother. A Pakistani priest says that unless there is separation between state and religion, Pakistan will slide into civil war.
Lahore (AsiaNews) – Two Christian women, mother and daughter, who recently suffered violence and humiliation, are now in a safe place. An angry mob turned against them in Lahore, beating them, after they were accused of blasphemy. The incident began with a dispute between the two and a Muslim woman, who is married to their son and brother, over the religious education of the mixed couple’s daughter. Mgr Rufin Anthony reacted to the fact, slamming Pakistani society’s increasing intolerance, a sociological problem it must deal with the utmost urgency.
Speaking from their hideout, John Chand, son and brother of the victims, told AsiaNews that the two women “are afraid of being attacked by extremists” and are hiding to avoid being killed. Continue Reading →
Pakistani religion of peace members protest the pope, celebrate the murderer of Taseer
Hope and despair in Pakistan.
Check out the interview with the two children of the murdered minister of Punjab, Salman Tasmeer. Especially the interview with his son. If only these were the voices in ascendence in the Islamic world instead of what follows. But the Tasmeer children have my respect and admiration. Those are the voices of courage.
Had to add this comment under this video where it lives on youtube:

French documentary on Islamic conquest of the world
Europe no longer marks meat as halal, ending all the gains by animal rights groups.
Yet the leftists still support Islam and Muslims over all else. Islam is inherently anti women’s rights, antisemitic (No stupid word games please we all know what this means) anti homosexual in a big way (unless of course it is with children) and clearly anti animal rights yet the left, which claims the victories on all these subjects, still supports Islam.
Europeans must demand the right to know if the meat they are buying was killed and processed in accordance with Western humane methods. They must demand it to governments, the respective agencies and the stores that sell the meat.

Europe Goes Halal
by Soeren Kern

http://www.hudson-ny.org/1799/europe-goes-halal
The European Union, bowing to pressure from Muslim lobby groups, has quietly abandoned a new measure that would have required halal [religiously approved for Muslims] meat products to carry a label alerting consumers that the animals were not stunned, and therefore conscious, just before slaughter. With the exponential growth of Europe’s Muslim population in recent years, thousands of tons of religiously slaughtered halal meat is now entering the general food chain, where it is being unwittingly consumed by the non-Muslim population.Muslims have the right to choose halal foods, but non-Muslims do not have the right to choose not to eat the ritually slaughtered meat.
Halal, which in Arabic means lawful or legal, is a term designating any object or action that is permissible according to Islamic Sharia Law. In the context of food, halal meat is derived from animals slaughtered by hand according to methods stipulated in Islamic religious texts. One such method, called dhabihah, consists of making a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck that cuts the jugular vein, leaving the animal to bleed to death without stunning. Of vital importance, according to the Koran, is that the animal’s blood flows from its body by “natural convulsion.”
Many non-Muslim veterinary experts say the method is cruel and should be outlawed. In Britain, for example, the Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), an advisory body to the British Government, says in a report that cutting an animal’s throat without stunning induces “significant pain and distress.” The FAWC also says: “Slaughter without pre-stunning is unacceptable and the Government should repeal the current exemption.”
The British Veterinary Association (BVA) says: “The BVA believes that all animals should be effectively stunned before slaughter to improve the welfare of these animals at slaughter. However, as long as slaughter without stunning is permitted, the BVA has argued for any meat from this source to be clearly labelled to enable all consumers to fully understand the choice they are making.” Continue Reading →

- Thousand rally in Karachi to support Pakistan’s blasphemy laws
- The laws make blasphemy a crime punishable by death to insult Islam
- Some banners at the rally supported the accused assassin of the governor of Punjab
(CNN) — Thousands of people turned out in Karachi Sunday to show their support for Pakistan’s current blasphemy laws and warn the government against changing the laws.
The rally, called by the leaders of several hard-line Islamic groups, closed main roads and markets throughout the city. Demonstrators demanded Pakistan leave its blasphemy laws untouched. They make it a crime punishable by death to insult Islam, the Quran or the Prophet Mohammed.
A number of banners at the rally stated support for Muhammad Mumtaz Qadri, accused of shooting the governor of Punjab province earlier this month. Qadri was a bodyguard for Gov. Salman Taseer, a liberal lawmaker who spoke out against the blasphemy laws. Qadri told police he assassinated Taseer because “he did blasphemy of the Prophet Mohammed.”
A bill is now before the Pakistani parliament that would change the current blasphemy laws. It calls for a tighter definition of the term to avoid cases like that of Asia Bibi, a Christian woman who was sentenced to death under the law. A court found the 45-year-old woman guilty of defiling the name of the Prophet Mohammed during a 2009 argument with fellow Muslim field workers.
