Michael Coren show: Tarek Fatah sanitizes Islam for us all

h/t sdamatt2

It should be noted that Mohamed had sex with Aisha from the time they married when she was six. He didnt rape her in the full genital way till she was nine. Muslim apologists pretend they didn’t have sex till she was nine. Google the Islamic practice based on Mohamed’s marriage called ‘thighing’
Disgusting, but true.

Suitcase murder: Omar Hussain charged in honour killing of Banaz Mahmod

From The Telegraph U.K

Man charged over body found in suitcase

Omar Hussain has been charged with murder after the decomposed body of Banaz Mahmod was found in a suitcase.

Published: 8:00AM GMT 20 Mar 2010

The body of Miss Mahmod, 20, was found in Handsworth, Birmingham three months after she disappeared from her family home in Mitcham, south London in January 2006.

Hussain, 30, of Smethwick, Birmingham, will appear at Greenwich Magistrates’ Court on Friday charged with her murder.

He is also charged with the attempted kidnap of Rahmat Suleimani, Miss Mahmod’s boyfriend, and with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Miss Mahmod began a relationship with Mr Suleimani after leaving an unhappy arranged marriage.

Her father, Mahmod Mahmod, uncle Ari Mahmod and a third man, Mohamad Hama, were jailed for life in 2007 for the so-called ”honour” killing.

Mr Suleimani was deemed unsuitable because he did not come from the small group of villages in Iraqi Kurdistan from which the Mahmods originated.

Dozens arrested as anti-Muslim English Defence League protestors battle rivals

TIMESONLINE… Riot police battled to control thousands of rival demonstrators taking part in an ill-tempered city centre protest organised by a controversial right-wing group.

Hundreds of officers, some horse-mounted and armed with batons, separated supporters of the English Defence League (EDL) and members of Unite Against Fascism (UAF).

Two officers were injured following ugly clashes: one fractured a finger, the other was bitten by a police dog. A police helicopter was also dispatched to assist the officers on the ground. There was a total of 67 arrests, 55 of which were UAF supporters and the remaining 12 EDL, police said.

The EDL organised the rally in Bolton, Lancashire, to protest against “radical Muslims” and Sharia law. At its height there were some 2,000 EDL and a further 1,500 UAF protestors.

The main protest took place in front of the town hall, which was boarded up to prevent any damage. Many local pubs and shops closed and taxi firms pulled their drivers off the roads.

Council leaders had met with Home Secretary Alan Johnson earlier this week in a bid to ban the demonstration, but were told there was no power to do so unless it took place on private property.

Assistant Chief Constable Garry Shewan, who is leading the operation for Greater Manchester Police (GMP), said: “Today in Bolton we have seen groups of people, predominantly associated with the UAF, engaging in violent confrontation. Continue Reading →

Rise in marriages between cousins ‘putting children at risk of birth defects’, warns Baroness

MAILONLINE… A rise in the number of marriages between cousins in Britain has prompted calls for a crackdown on the practice amid warnings it is putting children’s health at risk.

Crossbench peer Baroness Deech has called for a ‘vigorous’ public campaign to deter marriages between family members, which is common in Muslim and immigrant communities.

Her comments come as figures show up to 75 per cent of British Pakistanis in some areas are married to first cousins.

In a speech to be made next week, obtained by The Times, the leading family lawyer will warn that such marriages can be a barrier to the integration of minority communities and increases the risk of birth defects in children.

She is also expected to call for testing for genetic defects when marriages between family members are arranged and for a register of people carrying genetic diseases to be set up in order for two carriers not to be introduced.

She said such a scheme could be possible in Bradford, which has the UK’s highest population of Pakistanis.

Up to three-quarters of Pakistanis in Bradford are married to their first cousins.

The trend is also evident in Birmingham, where figures show that one in ten of all children born to first cousins died in childhood or suffered from a serious genetic disorder.

British Pakistanis, half of whom marry a first cousin, are 13 times more likely to produce children with genetic disorders than the general population, according to Government-sponsored research.

Although British Pakistanis account for three per cent of the births in this country, they are responsible for 33 per cent of the 15 to 20,000 children born each year with genetic defects. Continue Reading →

This week’s “Tales from the ‘Freedom’ Files”

This week’s stories remind us once again of how ‘old fashioned’, rational thought is being replaced by ‘progressive’, irrational ideology. The Loony Left in its mission to create a better, more thoughtful world continues to cast aside what they consider the useless notions of public consultation, debate and majority consent in favour of their gentler, wiser, dictatorial approach. Initially we at vladtepesblog were reluctant to post these stories, as we felt they may provide more data for the social engineers of our cities to expand their role of government interference in our personal choices and anything else enjoyable. Quickly concluding they will rail on regardless, we got over it. Enjoy.

#1 From the U.K. British Man Arrested by the Egg Police. A British auctioneer who attempted to sell a chest of drawers containing 100 year old bird’s eggs has been charged under laws designed to protect wildlife. Jim Railton thought the cabinet was just another piece of furniture but authorities disagreed. After a description of the common species eggs appeared in an auction catalogue, his salesroom was raided by police who were tipped off by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. He was arrested and driven to the police station where he was fingerprinted and mouth swabbed for a DNA sample. If found guilty, he faces a $5,000 fine and 6 months in prison.

#2 From the U.S., Switzerland and Canada. Workers in Detroit Urged to Avoid Perfumed Products. Signs will be placed in city buildings in Detroit telling staff to refrain from using scented products such as cologne, aftershave, perfume, deodorants and face/body lotions. Scented candles and spray/solid air fresheners are also banned. The new regulation came into play after a city employee won a $100,000 settlement claiming colleagues perfume caused her breathing difficulty. Due to similar complaints, Zurich has banned perfume, plunging necklines, bad breath, shirts with patterns, too much make-up, overly manicured nails, gym shoes, messy beards and short trousers. Ottawa debated on a similar program that would outlaw perfume, scented soaps, cleaners and deodorants in public places.

#3 From the U.K.  British Police Banned from Asking for Christian Names. British police officers taking down a suspect’s particulars have been banned from asking for their Christian names should the practice offend Muslims, Sikhs and people of other faiths. They must instead ask for their ‘personal’ or ‘family’ name. Kent’s police diversity handbook also instructs officers to refrain from using phrases such as ‘ my dear’, ‘love’, ‘mixed-race’, ‘businessman’, ‘housewives’ and ‘child’ and warns officers not to comfort people by ‘putting their arm around them’. The rulebook for Kent police intends to ‘break down cultural barriers with diverse communities’ and such loose talk and gestures of comfort could be seen as embarrassing and unprofessional by some unfamiliar with the ease of traditional British norms. The Kent manual seems in keeping with NHS Trust who attempted to ban hot cross buns at it’s hospitals during Easter for fear of offense and Liverpool schools who have succeeded in their ban of the traditional bun along with pancakes.

#4 From Canada.  Butt Out! City of Waterloo to Ban Smoking in Apartments. As of April 1, a Waterloo regional policy is set to outlaw smoking in multi-unit apartment dwellings. The ban will apply to all new residents and to those previous tenants who wish to relocate to a new unit. “People’s health is important to us and we’ve taken a bold move”, says regional director of housing Deb Schlichter, adding ” not everyone is going to be happy with the change”. Ms. Schlichter also advocates the use of public health nurses to provide counseling and nicotine replacement therapy to those who wish to kick the habit but does not rule out the prospect of eviction as a last resort. Pressure groups have long lobbied for a complete ban on smoking including in the home. Sadly, tenant Gary Smith’s old fashioned sentiment is lost among the rhetoric of the Butt-Out-Brigade ” what I do in my apartment is nobody’s business”.

#5 From England, Scotland and Canada.  The Latest in the War on Fat: Council Bans Ice Cream Vans from Stopping Near Schools. Ice cream traders in London have been banned from parking outside schools or in town centers in a bid by Hillington Council to improve children’s diets. Council claims they have been forced into action because healthier eating habits in children must be encouraged. Ice cream vendors found in defiance of the ban risk having their van(s) impounded. “An ice lolly is only unhealthy if you have 3 or 4 in one go” said ice cream vendor Pete Bhogal. The ban applies to nurseries through secondary schools.

The promotion of healthier eating habits in children including a ban on baked potatoes for pupils, is just one issue being tackled by health desk-jockeys. School administrators in Scotland have folded sleep lessons for teens into the curriculum warning them of the health hazards of late night t.v. and the benefits of an early bed time. This is done despite the fact that most parents are perfectly qualified to teach good sleeping habits to their own children within their own homes. Meanwhile, one Calgary school has banned kids from skateboarding to it’s school as officials have mistaken them for weapons. The fact that skateboarding is a healthy form of exercise seems to escape such skinny minded bureaucrats, as the city of Calgary also frowns on skateboard ramps, basketball hoops and hockey nets.

Socialist Stars in Conservative Party Campaign Video

Just when you think the Conservative party couldn’t be any more open about it’s socialist turn, the party has posted a campaign video on its website, staring a former-police officer and self-professed “socialist” who explains why she is voting Conservative. “My whole background is a socialist background, with strong socialist beliefs. The whole of my voting life, I have supported the Labour party,” she says, now “I’m voting Tory for the first time.”

No more ‘preachin’ in prison for Abu Qatada

Prison ‘justified’ in restricting influence of preacher

A high-security prison governor acted reasonably when he took steps to prevent Abu Qatada, the Muslim preacher, ”radicalising” young Muslim inmates, the High Court ruled today.

Judges ruled that action taken to restrict the possible “malign influence” of Qatada, 49, at Long Lartin in Worcestershire was justified and proportionate.

Qatada, whose real name is Omar Othman and who was once dubbed Osama bin Laden’s right-hand man in Europe, was described as an ”iconic figure for jihadists”.

He is among six Muslim international terror suspects who are unconvicted of any offence but held in a special detainee unit at Long Lartin.

The high-profile detainees face extradition requests from other countries for alleged terrorist offences but have launched legal challenges or cannot be deported because of the risk they will be tortured.

They include Khalid Al-Fawwaz, 47, and Adel Abdel Bary, 49, who are both wanted by the US authorities for conspiracy to murder American citizens in the synchronised bombings of US embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam in August 1998.

Qatada faces jail in Jordan for terrorism but alleges his conviction was based on evidence extracted by torture.

On Thursday, Lord Justice Aikens, sitting with Mr Justice Openshaw, rejected challenges to a decision by Long Lartin governor Ferdie Parker, in December 2008, to change the living conditions for all the detainees after Qatada returned to the unit.

The effect was to confine them to the unit for all purposes, except for health care and family visits, and ban them from mixing with other prisoners.

Qatada came from Belmarsh Prison in south-east London, where he was accused of attempting to “foment trouble” and inciting other prisoners to challenge authority. Continue Reading →

A jury at Manchester Crown Court found Abbas guilty of dissemination of terrorist publications and preparing for acts of terrorism. Ilyas was found guilty of possession of a document likely to be useful to a terrorist.

A third man, Muhammad Ahmad, 26, was cleared of preparing for an act of terrorism. Both brothers will be sentenced later this afternoon. Continue Reading →

Austria continues its tradition of destruction of freedom of speech and bending to tyrants

Here, we see how words are twisted to make racists the victims, and people’s freedom to speak plain simple facts, facts like “If the prophet of Islam was alive today, he would be in jail as a paedophile” are made the crimes.

Yes pointing out the crimes of Islam is now the crime in Austria while Islam claims victim status. So what else is new?

Dear Mayor of Monschau

I would like to add a short preface to what Diana has to say here. Geert Wilders would have been considered a commie by many in the US during the 1960s, but his voice would not have been an unusual one. His fierce defence of homosexual rights, Jewish people’s rights and minority and mostly individual rights in general are the signs of classical liberalism and one of the main ideologies being trumped by the rebelious youth of that time.

To see him branded and demonized as ‘far right wing’ by the majority of the mass media and the totality of state run media in Europe and elsewhere, shows how far left the broadcast media has moved since then. Left and dhimmified. That views which would have been considered subversively leftist for its calls for individual rights regardless of sexual orientation or race or religious belief like Wilders would be called right wing, merely because he opposes fascist ideologies like Islam.

An open letter from Diana West. This taken from the Brussels Journal

From the desk of Diana West on Tue, 2010-03-16 15:42

Dear Mayor Margareta Ritter (ma**************@************au.de),

CDU-Bürgermeisterin Margareta Ritter: 'Wilders ist in Monschau nicht willkommen!'

I have had the pleasure of visiting your exquisitely beautiful German town, the second member of my family to do so. The first was my dad, who, as a member of the 102nd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron in Gen. Bradley’s Army, had, with time out to recuperate from wounds incurred at the Battle of St Lo, fought across nothern Europe from D-Day plus 2 until reaching Monschau by the end of 1944.

I only bring this up because I read this morning that you have declared Geert Wilders, who recently weekended in your town, “not welcome” in Monschau. “People who, just like Mr Wilders, encumber the Dutch integration debate with right-wing populism and who want to ban the Qur’an, comparing it to Mein Kampf, are not welcome in Monschau,” you are quoted as having said.

I protest. First of all, it is not “right-wing populism” with which Wilders “encumbers” the integration debate. It is with facts about sharia (Islamic law), a totalitarian and supremacist legal and religious system. He takes these facts to the public arena, a place where fears of Islamic retribution have to date silenced this essential, civilizational conversation. Another fact he brings, however discomforting to multicultists such as you appear to be, is the similarity between Mein Kampf and the Koran. You may declare Wilders — and all of his thousands of Dutch supporters — persona non grata in Monschau; that won’t make sharia or those Koran-Kampf similarities go away.

But maybe you don’t care. Maybe you have now found a new totalitarianism to submit to. But I protest your decision to make Monschau off limits to Wilders, a defender of liberty against totalitarianism — the same liberty my dad was in and around Monschau to defend long ago against a similarly supremacist totalitarianism. I have a strong hunch he would say that, so long as you are in office, liberation wasn’t worth the effort.

Sincerely,

Diana West, USA

Islamic students refusing to share “multi-faith” prayer room

From Secularism.org:

A row over an Islamic prayer room that was recently closed at City University in London is threatening to turn into a religious war as Muslim students refuse to share a “multi-faith” space with non-Muslims. Instead, the Muslim students are using the pavement outside the college for their prayers.

The Muslim students say they can’t share with others because “a vast number of Muslim scholars throughout history believe it is impermissible for Muslims to offer prayers in a place where [a god] other than our Lord, Allah, is worshipped”. All-male groups have been praying on the pavement outside City since 15 February, with more than 200 reportedly turning up for Friday prayers in Northampton Square.

The protest follows a fight between members of the City Islamic Society and a gang of youths last November outside a building which previously housed the Muslim prayer room. Police described the attack, in which two students were stabbed, as racially aggravated. Earlier the same week, students reported being pelted with stones as they left the room. Continue Reading →

Accusations of racism made by Muslims bogus, headmistress receives justice

Headmistress wrongly accused of racism by Muslim governors wins £400,000 payout

A headmistress hounded out of her job after being falsely accused of racism by two Muslim governors is entitled to £400,000 damages, the Court of Appeal ruled today.

Erica Connor, 57, had run a ‘happy and successful’ primary school but was driven to a breakdown by the allegations.

She left the New Monument primary school in Woking, Surrey, after Paul Martin – a Muslim convert – and Mumtaz Saleem began monopolising meetings with the aim of turning New Monument in Woking into an Islamic faith school. Continue Reading →

National Post: Exclusive: Former Somali fighter warns of growing radicalism in Canada

TORONTO — Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed works as a security guard at an apartment complex in Toronto’s Little Mogadishu neighborhood. It can be a slow job, sitting at the gatehouse, but nobody could call him inexperienced.

Before he returned to Toronto last year, the 35-year-old Canadian spent six months with the Somali militant group Al-Shabab. He trained at Al-Shabab’s main camp in Mogadishu and guarded the frontlines.

“To us, the local people, they were freedom fighters,” Mr. Mohamed said of Al-Shabab. “They were fighting for our country, they were fighting for the survival of the Somali race, and everyone rallied behind them.”

Vic Toews, the Public Safety Minister, announced last week that the government had added Al-Shabab to Canada’s list of outlawed terrorist organizations. He said the al-Qaeda-linked group was “actively recruiting within the Somali-Canadian community.”

Police and intelligence officials are investigating a half-dozen young Canadians suspected of having joined the militant group. A video posted on the Internet this week claimed one of them, Mohamed Elmi Ibrahim, had died “in battle.”

Mr. Mohamed, who immigrated to Ontario in 1989, is believed to be the first Canadian to speak publicly about his time with Al-Shabab. He told his story to the National Post in exclusive interviews in Mogadishu and Toronto.

“Wooden shoes, Wooden Head, Wouldn’t Listen”

Just quoting a Dutch friend who uses this expression quite often. I think I am beginning to understand what it means. Below, a story about no-go zones in Holland and the couched language the authorities use as to how the indigenous Netherlanders should deal with it. Which is to say, do not go in to these areas at any time. Abandon your traditions of riding bikes and, better yet just do not go there. No one is saying its the Muslims causing these problems, but calls have gone out to the mosques to try and get people to stop attacking the Dutch.

From  NISNEWS by way of TROP

VEENENDAAL, 19/03/10 – Mayor Ties Elzenga of Veenendaal has advised his residents to avoid certain areas in the town due to a series of violent muggings. Although he says the ethnic background of the perpetrators is not yet clear, he has already made contact with the Moroccan community.

At least three violent robberies took place last weekend along a bicycle route from the centre to the south of Veenendaal, a small town near Utrecht. The victims were stripped and assaulted. Police are speaking of a new form of violence. “A combination of robbery and brutal humiliation,” said a spokesman.

Mayor Elzenga has advised all residents to avoid the cycle route along which the offences occurred. “Do not go there if you are alone, and especially not in the dark.” Continue Reading →
