South Korea: North Korea Torpedoed Ship STRATFOR
April 22, 2010
South Korea’s military believes a torpedo fired from a North Korean submarine sank its navy ship last month, based on intelligence gathered jointly with the United States, Reuters reported April 22. The military’s intelligence arm sent the report of “certain” North Korean involvement to the presidential Blue House soon after the incident, Yonhap quoted a high-ranking military source as saying. North Korean submarines are all armed with heavy torpedoes with 200 kg (441 lb) warheads, according to the military source. It is the military intelligence’s assessment that North Korea attacked with a heavy torpedo.

Southpark moves from profound to heroic
I have always felt that South Park offered some of the best social commentary on TV. Now, the creators and writers Mat Stone and Trey Parker have dared ask the un-ask-able questions in the current episode of South park. If you draw a line with a circle on top and call it Mohamed, is that ok? What if it is a drawing of a bear suit and you claim a drawing of Mohamed is inside of it? Does that cause or justify Muslim rage?
When I saw this episode, I felt like my office had been bugged as I asked several of the same questions to my colleagues since the Moe-Toon riots (no relation to Mo-town records) including at what level of abstraction is a drawing of Mohamed sufficiently representative to be called a drawing?
It is interesting, as Diana West notes, that no one seems to be talking about it.

Fox Reports: “Retribution” Could Be Coming to South Park, Updated

Cartoon: Mohammed is the one in the bear suit.
—
Have been meaning to post about a sicko Islamic death threat video about “South Park” founders Matt Stone and Trey Parker, with Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Theo van Gogh, Salman Rushdie, Geert Wilders, Kurt Westergaard and Lars Vilks rounding out the cast of those similarly targeted for “offending” Islam, even as I have been simultaneously monitoring the reluctance (read: fear) of the MSM to report the story, period.
Imagine: Mega-star animators Stone & Parker are threatened with death by jihadists for their “South Park” cartoon satirizing Mohammed for being off limits to mockery (to the point, in the cartoon, where both redheads or “gingers” and celebrities all want some of what he’s got), and the MSM, most of it, wants to pretend nothing is happening.
It’s happening, whether clean shaven in Geneva, or in beards in Brooklyn.
By “it” I mean submission to Islam.
And what to make of this Fox News headline on the story?
‘South Park’ Creators Could Face Retribution for Depicting Muhammad, Website Warns
“Retribution”???? My Webster’s tells me retribution means “1. deserved punishment for evil done, or, sometimes, reward for good done; merited requital. 2. in theology, reward or punishment in another life for things done in this.
Did News Corp stakeholder, Saudi scion, and Murdoch crony Prince Talal bin Alwaleed write the headline?
Updated: Even if it is the “website” that “warns” of retribution, Fox needs at the very least the padding of quotation marks around “retribution” to put some needed distance between it and them.
Spain demonstrates the real power behind solar.
This reminds me of a plug-and-play joke from grade school about astronomers from group X. (As a Canadian, the joke was typically about French people back then) where they had decided to send a team to the sun. They avoid the obvious problems of burning alive, by sending the team to go at night.
The amount of corruption, theft, bad policy and damage to civilization caused by crypto-environmentalism however, is not so funny.
SPAIN: FRAUD UNCOVERED, SOLAR PLANTS WORKING AT NIGHT(ANSAmed) – MADRD, APRIL 12 – ‘The Ministry for Industry uncovers a serious fraud on solar energy’ , El Mundo reveals today with the newspaper’s main feature story, quoting government data on photovoltaic energy production, according to which several solar plants were actually working at night. It is suspected the solar panels are plugged into power generators or electricity-producing apparel at night, to simulate production and obtain the public grants allowed for the photovoltaic sector. According to the newspaper’s sources, solar plants in Castilla y Leon, Castilla-La Mancha, Andalusia and the Canary Islands are supposedly producing energy at night-time, without the sun. Between November and January in particular, more than 4,500 megawatt per hour would have been produced at night, and the amount of State-granted frauded funds would be about 2,6 million euros. Until last year’s November the energy production in Spanish photovoltaic plants didn’t undergo today’s severe controls, which are regulated by the National Energy Commission (CNE, where all data from authonomous communities and energy distribution companies are processed.) The responsible Minister, Miguel Sebastian, pushed CNE to further inspections and open an inquiry to investigate “fraudulent practices.” (ANSAmed).

March 31 S.Korea military on alert after warship sinking
BAENGNYEONG ISLAND, South Korea (AFP) – South Korea said Wednesday it has ordered all government officials to stay on emergency alert until the crisis sparked by the mysterious sinking of a warship is resolved.
The officials have been told not to take leave and to stay alert even while off-duty in case of emergencies, the home ministry said, reiterating an instruction first issued Saturday.
The 655,000-strong military and the police force was also ordered on heightened readiness after an unexplained blast tore a 1,200-tonne corvette in two Friday night near the tense border with North Korea in the Yellow Sea.
A huge search for 46 missing sailors, which has claimed the life of one naval rescue diver, was suspended Wednesday due to stormy seas.
The military officially refuses to abandon hope but officers said privately there was no chance anyone could still be alive in watertight compartments inside the sunken hull.
Seoul has not cited any evidence the North was involved, although the defence minister has said a North Korean mine — either drifting or deliberately placed — might have caused the disaster.
The disputed border was the scene of deadly naval clashes in 1999 and 2002 and of a firefight last November.
Navy chief Kim Sung-Chan has said the ship’s munitions storage room did not appear to have exploded and “the ship was broken in two because of powerful outside pressure or an (exterior) explosion”.
Dong-A Ilbo newspaper said US and South Korean intelligence had satellite photos showing submersible craft moving in and out of a west coast base at Sagot in North Korea before and after the sinking. Continue Reading →
Anti Immigration party surges ahead in Italy
Nick Pisa in Rome The Telegraph UK
Published: 7:06PM BST 30 Mar 2010
The Northern League, an anti immigration party, which has now become pivotal in Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s ruling coalition, has seen it’s support more than double in the last five years.
Led by firebrand Umberto Bossi, who once called for the Italian navy to shell boats carrying illegal immigrants towards the country, his victory mirrors those recently by far right parties in Hungary, Holland and France.
In the last regional elections held in 2005 the League secured just 5.7 per cent of the vote but in subsequent polls they have seen their popularity grow and this time it was 12.7 per cent.
James Walston, a political commentator at the American University of Rome, said: “The League has done very well and they will be flexing their muscles for the remaining three years of government.
“They will push for further devolution and immigration and race will also be on top of their agenda and these two are issues which are of concern to many Italians. Continue Reading →

Islamic TV show ‘backed marital rape’ and promotes extremist groups, claims Muslim think tank
By Steve Doughty
Last updated at 10:27 PM on 25th March 2010
Britain’s leading Islamic TV channel has regularly broadcast demeaning material about women and promoted extremist groups, it was alleged yesterday.
Programmes on the Islam Channel have told women they should not refuse to have sex with their husbands or leave home without their permission, an inquiry by the Islamic think-tank the Quilliam Foundation found.
Women who wear perfume in public have been labelled prostitutes.
Islam Channel: According to an Islamic think tank, some programmes on the channel promoted extremist groups such as Hizb ut-Tahrir (file photo)
The channel has regularly acted as a propaganda platform for Hizb ut-Tahrir, the fundamentalist organisation that Tony Blair wanted to ban after the 2005 London bombings. It has also promoted hate preachers, a report said.
And, the inquiry by the Islamic think tank the Quilliam Foundation found, its broadcasts are also trying to sow hatred between different Muslim groups by promoting a single strand of hardline theology.
The Islam Channel, launched in 2004, is the most watched satellite channel aimed at a Muslim audience and the think tank is now calling for an investigation by regulator Ofcom.
Report author Talal Rajab said: ‘Unfortunately during the three month period that we monitored its output, it repeatedly promoted bigoted and reactionary views towards women, non-Muslims and other Muslims who follow different versions of Islam.
‘Although the channel does not directly call for terrorist violence, it clearly helps to create an atmosphere in which religiously-sanctioned intolerance and even hatred might be seen as acceptable.’
One programme featured remarks instructing women that ‘the idea that a woman, even if married, can refuse relations with her husband because of individual choice was part of the Western culture.’
It was necessary for ‘maintaining a strong marriage’ that a woman should submit to a man, viewers were told.
Under English law, a husband who forces his wife to have sex is guilty of rape.
The report accused the channel of promoting the speeches of Anwar al-Awlaki, a preacher linked to two of the 9/11 hijackers and to the gunman who killed 13 soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas last year.
It is said to have made derogatory remarks about non-Muslims and to have been highly critical of Islamic thinking different from the intolerant Wahabi ideology which is strong in Saudi Arabia.
The report added that the channel’s chief executive, Mohammed Ali Harrath, has a conviction in Tunisia for terrorism-related offences and is on an Interpol wanted list.
It said: ‘The gravest concern regarding the Islam Channel is its failure in combating extremism. A number of presenters with extremist tendencies were regularly given the opportunity to air their opinions on the network without a challenge from more moderate Islamic voices.’
The report added that the channel ‘consistently allows space for extreme interpretations and views, giving undue prominence to fringe minority organisations.’

Egyptian State Security Demolishes Anglican Church, Assaults Pastor
It Aint Just the Copts Baby, It’s all Christians now
(AINA) — An Anglican Church pastor and his wife were assaulted by Security agents in Luxor on March 18, 2010, in order to evacuate them by force from their home and demolish Church property. Out of the nearly 3000 sq. meters of buildings attached to the Church, only the 400 sq. meter prayer hall was left standing.
Pastor Mahrous Karam of the Anglican Church in Luxor, 721 km from Cairo, said that the Church was still in negotiations with the Luxor authorities the day before regarding a replacement for the community center building which lies within the Church’s compound, and was told the authorities were still considering their options. Early next morning, a 500-man force of Central Security and State Security blocked all roads leading to the Church compound, forced their way in and broke into the pastor’s residence, dragging the family out by force.
In an effort to save the buildings from demolition, the Pastor sat on the fence of the Church compound, to prevent the demolition work, but was beaten and dragged away, reported Katiba Tibia News.
The Pastor’s wife, Sabah, said that two men went into her flat and evacuated her by force, by slapping her face, pulling her by her clothes and dragging her by her hair. “They threatened that if I do not leave the place they would take my 3-year-old boy and throw him under the bulldozers which came for the demolition work,” she told Sherif Ramzy of Freecopts. “Twenty traumatized children were dragged out of the attached nursery and thrown into the church hall,” Sabah said.
She added that all their belongings were left in the street, and they have nowhere to live. “I believe they wanted to give us an Easter present, the way they gave the Copts of Nag Hammadi the Christmas Eve Massacre,” she added bitterly.
Pastor Karam said that the community center lies within the archaeological excavation for the “Rams Road” project. “We are not against giving the community center up, we just want a replacement building,” he told Luxor-based Coptic activist Samir Rafaat. “We want equal treatment in our own country. The city council replaced the Islamic Association with a building of 20 flats, before demolishing their building. We want the same treatment.”
Dr. Samir Farag, Governor of Luxor, told the media that his forces seized only “one room” from the Anglican Church, and denied any bodily assault on the pastor’s family. According to the Anglican Church approximately 2600 sq. meters were seized including the pastors 2-story high residence, and the community center, which included a nursery, guests quarters and club The Anglican Church School, which was also demolished, was not included in the negotiations between the Anglican Church and the Governorate as it does not lie within the Ram Road excavation project.
An Anglican witness said: “The Governor is lying, that is why the forces blocked the road leading to the Church before their attack, so that nobody would witness their doings. But he forgot there is the Internet and cell phone videos to show the whole world the uncivilized way Egypt deals with Christians and their places of worship.”
The Anglican Church in Egypt, which has a congregation of nearly 750,000 issued a statement on March 19, condemning the behavior of the Luxor authorities for demolishing Church property without adequate negotiations. It also condemned the assault on the pastor, his wife and the threats made to harm their child, which it characterized as a flagrant violation of human rights and the sanctity of churches as places of worship.
Pastor Karam told Samir Raafat “We want a replacement plot of land for the one seized, as previously promised by the Governor, to build a community center on. Secondly, I was beaten and dragged on the ground in front of everyone, so I need my honor to be restored, because I represent the Anglican Church.” He said he would stage a sit-in in front of the church until matters have been rectified. “Meanwhile I will not carry out any Church services.”
The governor of Luxor has been criticized on several occasions for his execution of projects in Luxor. According to writer Safwat Samaan Yassa, UNESCO recommended that the excavation work for the Ram Road should be executed in stages in the next 20 years, but the Governor of Luxor shortened it to three years, demolishing in the process hundred of houses, hotels, restaurants, bazaars, and ancient palaces and thereby destroying Luxor’s economy. Furthermore, according to Yassa, historical sites were demolished to make way for a hotel complex financed by Arab investors.

Islamic roots of the African Slave Trade
I had this video on Sevenload some time ago but as that channel was closed, and it is a very important document, I re uploaded it to Vimeo. Subtitled in English, this was made in German and French and details both the Islamic justification for the trading of human beings as slaves, but also shows how the true history of the slave trade is distorted and outright buried by organizations such as OXFAM and UNICEF due to the take over of the UN by the OIC, or ‘Organization of Islamic Conference’.
This truly is a stunning document, and makes sense of a lot of history of slavery, Islam, and the west.
If you do not see the video below, click on the header at the top of this article and it will bring you to the unique page where it lives and you should be able to see it fine.

Are Bangladeshis Islamophobes?
by Baron Bodissey
We’re all familiar with the concept of burqa-wearing as a human right. Those who interfere with women who wear the burqa — for example, the French government — are accused of hatred and discrimination against Muslims and women, a PC twofer. They are also called “racists”, “xenophobes”, “Islamophobes”, etc.
Funnily enough, although Bangladesh is overwhelmingly Muslim (at least 88%), a hospital in Dhaka has just cracked down on burqa-wearing. Like the German postal clerk who refused to serve a customer wearing a niqab, the hospital’s administrators consider the complete covering of the face and body to be a security issue.
Does this mean that Bangladeshis are Islamophobes?
According to The Arab Times:
Bangladesh Hospital Bans Burqa to Prevent Theft
DHAKA, March 22, 2010 (AFP) — Bangladesh’s largest state-run hospital has banned staff from wearing full-face burqas after an increase in thefts of mobile phones and wallets from wards, a hospital chief said Monday.
Female staff have been ordered to wear standard uniforms, which do not cover either the hair or face, while on duty at the Bangabandhu Medical University Hospital in Dhaka, senior administrator Abdul Majid Bhuiyan told AFP. Continue Reading →

Fear of Iran makes strange bedfellows
(IsraelNN.com) The German news magazine Der Spiegel has reported that Saudi Arabia is hoping Israel will strike Iran’s nuclear facilities, and is even prepared to open its skies to Israeli warplanes to allow such an operation to take place. Similar reports were published in 2009, and denied by both Israel and Saudi Arabia.
The Der Spiegel report stated that officials in Riyadh had spoken to United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about the importance of stopping Iran’s nuclear program, even if doing so requires the use of military force.
The London Sunday Times claimed in 2009 that Saudi Arabia would allow Israel to use its airspace to attack Iran. The paper quoted a former Israeli intelligence officer as saying, “The Saudis are very concerned about an Iranian nuclear bomb, even more than the Israelis.” Continue Reading →
Iranians train Taliban to use roadside bombs

TALIBAN commanders have revealed that hundreds of insurgents have been trained in Iran to kill Nato forces in Afghanistan.
The commanders said they had learnt to mount complex ambushes and lay improvised explosive devices (IEDs), which have been responsible for most of the deaths of British troops in Helmand province.
The accounts of two commanders, in interviews with The Sunday Times, are the first descriptions of training of the Taliban in Iran.
According to the commanders, Iranian officials paid them to attend three-month courses during the winter.

They were smuggled across the border to the city of Zahidan, in southeast Iran, an hour’s drive from training camps in the desert.
Instructors in plain clothes provided daily exercises in live firing. The first month was devoted largely to teaching the Taliban how to attack convoys and how to escape before Nato forces could respond.
During their second month they were shown how to plant IEDs in sequence so that the rescuers of soldiers wounded in one blast would be caught in further explosions.
The third month was spent on storming bases and checkpoints. A hilltop fort was among the locations used for practice by a Taliban platoon. Continue Reading →
Organization of Islamic Conference seems to be uncertain of its own rules
The OIC posts a cartoon of Mohamed as a pig on its report of ‘Islamaphobia’ then removes it when it is pointed out that they tend to burn down buildings and murder people when others pubish similar images. Here is an explanation of why.
