Islamists Hate Music, Western Art and Culture

 This article was posted in a link, on the comment thread on the issue of the interruption of the concert at Albert Hall last night. The whole article can be read here with a portion of it below. 

It came as something as a shock to the liberal British arts establishment when ‘British’ Muslims recently set out their demands for changes in the educational system. They demanded that all schools with Muslim students should become Shariah-compliant, with bans on dance, drama and music. Recitation of the Koran should replace music lessons, and art should be restricted to the portrayal of inanimate objects.

Although they put the lefty luvvies and literati in a flutter, to anyone familiar with the global onslaught of Islam these demands are no surprise, and are in fact inevitable once Muslims have established themselves in sufficient numbers in Dar al Harb (the lands of the infidels).

Donkey killed for adultery.

I’ll post this story as I found it, with this key that hopefully will help anyone sort out the facts of this case. As I understand it, a mans donkey cheated on him by having sex with some other Muslim , and so he had to kill it to preserve his family’s honor cause after all, it brings great shame to ones family when one’s livestock has sex with someone else. At least I think that is the issue here.

Donkey declared ‘Kari’ killed

SUKKUR: Incredible though it may sound, a donkey was declared ‘Kari’ and shot dead here in a remote area on Monday. The Jirga imposed 110,000 rupees fine on the alleged ‘Karo’.

The reports said that in Village Ghahi Khan Jatoi, a villager Ghazi Khan alias Malang shot dead his donkey on being ‘Kari’ with Sikandar Ali alias Deedo. He attempted to kill Sikander too but the alleged Karo managed to escape and surrendered himself to an influential person of the area.

Sources said the influential person summoned both the parties and imposed 110,000 rupees fine on the Karo. They said Sikander and his family were forced to pay Rs 50,000 on the spot and the remaining amount in two installments.

The sources added that the alleged Karo pleaded innocence at the Jirga, but the Jirga members paid no attention to it. Sikander’s family said he paid Rs 50,000 to save his life otherwise he would have been killed.

It should come as little surprise that Canadian Islamist groups are gushing with glee over the Toronto District School Board’s decision to play host to the illegal cafeteria-cum- mosque, it’s travelling Imam and the gender apartheid, Muslim menses ban set-up at Valley Park Middle School in Toronto. I especially love their references to the importance of human rights.

It appears the legal beagles over at the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association must have opted to appear for Friday prayer instead of attending the classes which directly reference sections 15 and 28 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guaranteeing equality and gender equality respectively. DHAKA, Bangladesh – Rumana Manzur said she was quietly working on her UBC thesis, with her five-year-old daughter by her side, when her husband Hassan Sayed burst into the room and unprovoked, unleashed a vicious beating.

He grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor and went for her eyes, the part of her he knew was elemental to her studies.

Compilation of clips of Islamic gangs turning British children into serial rape victims.

As this is back in the news nearly constantly now, and as many people interviewed seem to be saying, nearly in code, that the problem is much much larger than we know and that the children are younger than we think, I thought I would put a few clips together that I have had over the past year or so for a bit of perspective. I am confident though that there is much more, that this is sanctioned by aspects of the Muslim communities in Western nations and that the problem is much more serious than it would appear even here.

It is amazing how one can travel so far in time and so short in ideas. The page from whence this came, claims this is in Egypt.

Youtube removed this video, although in fact it is hardly shocking and disgusting in most ways but certainly should be, yet allows genuine horror from Islamic groups or non-English brutality frequently. It appears they are attempting to crack down on videos which makes Islam look bad or something, not quite sure what is at play here. This video is up all over the place on the net. It is just an Egyptian teacher whacking every kid in his class except one with a ruler. It isn’t that harsh, its wrong but not health threatening or anything. Anyway here it is below.

TUNIS, Tunisia (AP) – Police fired tear gas Friday on stone-throwing youths in Tunisia’s capital after a demonstration by hundreds of Islamists protesting the country’s secular laws.

The violence at the end of a day of peaceful, small protests disrupted a period of relative calm in the North African country, where an uprising ousted the longtime president in January and prompted revolts around the Arab world.

It was unclear whether anyone was injured or arrested in the clash.

Protesters held two demonstrations in Tunis on Friday, one by a group demanding more economic freedoms and another by young Islamists shouting “God is great” and other religious slogans.

Their demonstration came as the Interior Ministry announced Friday that women are no longer required to take off headscarves for official state ID cards. The Islamist protesters want the government to remove restrictions on the headscarf in public buildings and other measures.

A strong secular flavor pervades this former French colony, partly because ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali and his predecessor, Habib Bourguiba, kept Islamists in check.

Even though 98 percent of the population are Muslims, only a minority of women wear Islamic headscarves, and Friday, the Muslim day of rest and special prayer, is part of the Tunisian work week.

Police showed up in force Friday to ring the historic Casbah to try to prevent violence at the planned protests. The Casbah saw tensions during protests earlier this year, in which scores of people were killed when police under Ben Ali’s hard-line regime fired on protesters.

Friday’s demonstrations were mostly peaceful, with a few hundred people, including Islamists in white prayer caps.

In the evening groups of youth marched near the Casbah and clashed with police, who responded with volleys of tear gas.

My feminist generation believed in universal human rights — one standard for all. I still do. Therefore, I have taken a strong stand against the persecution of immigrant women and dissidents. I now submit affidavits on behalf of women who have fled the threat of such killings and who are seeking asylum in the United States.

Those of us who condemn the plight of such women, who are mainly Muslims and ex-Muslims, have been demonized in activist circles as “Islamophobes” and racists because we do not, in the same breath, blame America, the West or Israel for their suffering. Many Western academic feminists are so afraid of being condemned as “racists” that this fear trumps their concern for women’s rights in the Arab and Muslim world.

Islamic gender apartheid, which has penetrated the West, is characterized by normalized daughter- and wife-battering, forced veiling, female genital mutilation, polygamy, purdah (the segregation or sequestration of women), arranged marriage, child marriage and first-cousin marriage. Girls and women often are honour-murdered if they resist such practices, if they wish to divorce a dangerously abusive husband, or if they are viewed as too independent, too modern.

Today, at its most extreme, Islamic gender apartheid is characterized by acid attacks, public stonings, hangings, and beheading of women in Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia and Saudi Arabia — countries in which female rape victims are jailed, tortured and executed.

Feminists should be crying out from the rooftops against these practices. Some are. I am. Yet, many Muslims, as well as many intellectually “progressive” Western infidels, are not. On June 20 2009, a beautiful young woman was standing alongside the road in Tehran, watching her fellow Iranians taking to the streets demanding freedom and protesting the most recent fraudulent presidential election. Neda Agha-Soltan looked on, perhaps in disbelief that, once again, the fanatic leaders of the Islamic Regime had stolen the hope of her generation for democracy, human dignity, and equality.

Then, a shocking event took place that riveted the world’s attention on the cruelty of the Iranian leaders against their people. A member of the Basij forces shot Neda. As she fell to the ground and her beautiful eyes took a last look at the sky, Neda (which means “divine message” in Farsi) became the unforgettable face of the Iranian people. Her death became the iconic symbol of a nation, which, in its quest for justice and freedom, has suffered tens of thousands of casualties.

Today, while the world is celebrating International Women’s Day, honoring the women who have made the world a better place, it is essential that we remember the innocent women of Iran and what they’ve lost at the hands of a vicious regime.

Cruelest of punishments

Ever since the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran, women have been subjected to the cruelest of punishments.

Despite Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khomeini’s promise that he would allow women freedom of choice in clothing, activities, and lifestyle, one of the first orders of the Islamic government was to force all women to wear the Islamic hijab, covering their hair and their body. No makeup was allowed, and they could not be seen with anyone other than their husbands or relatives. Anyone caught disobeying the law was subjected to lashing and imprisonment.

The ruling clerics called themselves God’s representatives on earth, and anyone opposing them was deemed a mohareb, an enemy of God. The Quran authorizes torture and death for enemies of God.

The Islamic regime has taken this authority to its most heinous extreme.

Thousands of innocent young girls have been brought to prison for the most specious of reasons. They’re thrown into small cells, designed for just a few, along with sometimes 30 of their fellow victims. As a CIA spy in Iran, I was a witness to this.

Noting that Islamic law forbids musical instruments and music itself except in some strictly defined circumstances will bring you swift charges of “ignorance” and “Islamophobia.” I guess Bilal Philips is an ignorant Islamophobe.

Hadith Qudsi 19:5: “The Prophet said that Allah commanded him to destroy all the musical instruments, idols, crosses and all the trappings of ignorance.” (The Hadith Qudsi, or holy Hadith, are those in which Muhammad transmits the words of Allah, although those words are not in the Qur’an.)
