The initiation fees for Muslim converts seems a little pricey to me

An Arkansas man was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting at a Little Rock military recruiting center that killed one soldier and wounded another, authorities said.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad — a 24-year-old Little Rock resident formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe — faces a first-degree murder charge and 15 counts of engaging in a terrorist act, Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. The terrorist counts stem from the shots fired at an occupied building.

The soldier who was killed was identified as Pvt. William Long, 24, of Conway, and the wounded soldier is Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville, Thomas said.

Ezeagwula is in stable condition and expected to recover, the police chief said.

Although military officials initially believed that the shooting was a random act, Thomas said police think the shooter acted alone “with the specific purpose of targeting military personnel.”

“I’m relieved there’s a suspect in custody,” said Capt. Matthew Feehan, commander of the center.

Feehan said seven other recruiters were in the building, but nobody else was injured.

Thomas said police recovered three guns from Muhammad’s black Ford SUV: an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a .22-caliber rifle and a pistol.

The victims were just out of basic training and had not been deployed, said Lt. Col. Thomas F. Artis, commander of the Oklahoma recruiting battalion that oversees the Little Rock recruiting center.

The soldiers were part of a recruiting program called “hometown recruiting assistance,” Artis said. Under the program, recruiters have the soldiers tell their stories to potential recruits. It’s a volunteer position taken while soldiers are visiting or based back in their home region, Artis said.

The FBI has opened an investigation into the incident, said Steven Frazier, spokesman for the agency’s Little Rock office. “Based on what we find, we will determine whether there is any federal jurisdiction to prosecute,” he said.

As usual PJTV does a good job of giving us the news the ah, news doesn’t seem to bother with anymore. I can’t help but notice that self funded groups like Pajamas Media and blogs seem to be the ones bringing important information to supposedly free nations while mass media news outlets are censored or self censor any news which may generate a complaint from groups which perpetrate the horrors being reported on. It’s also interesting that many groups are looking after their own security abandoning the notion that the state is using the tax money collected from us all for what it was intended. One begins to wonder of the writ of state itself is losing meaning as leftism and Islam subverts resources of the state leaving all basic requirements of civilization to the individual to fulfill. While the state achieves less and less of what the basic requirements are, the cost of operations continue to go up. There is no formula that can make this sustainable. I would watch the UK and parts of Scandinavia to see where this is likely to go.

Appeasement of Concessions – The Invisible War with Islam

“He who sets the terms of the war sets the terms of the peace.”

While our focus is on the visible war against terrorists and guerrillas in which our armies are engaged in, this war is only the visible war, the tip of a great dark iceberg which reaches far beneath the surface.

The visible war we are fighting is the war that the most radical Islamists are carrying forward, it is the war that occupies the bulk of our attention, it is the only war that our leaders officially recognize—but it is also the war that sets the terms for the invisible war happening daily on our streets, in our schools, in government, university, civil service and throughout our lives.

The visible war, the terrorist threat, the car bombings, the shootings, the riots, the stabbings are the threat under which free nations surrender themselves one piece at a time. The goal of the visible war is to make present and clear the threat. But it is the invisible war which extracts the concessions.

The invisible war is not waged with guns or bombs. It is waged with reasonable editorials, with suits and benedictions. With smiles and handshakes and reassurances. It is a salesman’s pitch that goes something like this. “We want to live in peace. To be your neighbors, to attend your weddings, embrace your families and create a better world. But first this is what we want–”

The invisible war. The quiet threat that sets the terms of the peace. The “Muslim Moderates” who seem quite reasonable who come bearing a gift, the message that peace is possible, as long as the proper concessions are made to them. And of course those concessions will be followed by more concessions still. And yet more to come after.

And if those concessions are not made, the visible war will follow. There will be riots, bombings, stabbings, shooting. The growing domestic Muslim population, whose presence we are legally not permitted to object to or their deportation to call for, in countries as diverse as England, Australia, Israel, Sweden, Russia and France, will turn hostile and become a weapon in our midst.

The invisible war uses the threat of a visible war combined with the threat of the “radicalization” of the “moderate” Muslim population, positioned like self-reproducing Trojan horses within our midst, to enforce concessions in the invisible war.

While we chase terrorists around the world, their leaders and our domestic sympathizers are busy setting the terms of surrender in our own capitals and getting their way more often than not.

It is easy enough to see the template for it in the countries most seriously affected, a look at Israel, Thailand or the Philippines allows us to total up the final costs that are brought to the bargaining table as terrorist leaders are legitimized to become statesmen and terrorist populations become sovereign nations. But it is not as obvious at the beginning when the butcher’s bill has yet to be toted up and the real agenda is still only a whisper in coffee houses, an ink smear on a pamphlet, a hastily recorded speech by an Imam that law enforcement refuses to take seriously. It is not until there is real blood on the streets, when years of conflict become decades of conflict and the toll wears down even the patriot and the hardened soldier, that the real surrender begins and the enemy declares victory in the invisible war.

The real threat is not so much in the visible war, murderous as it may be. The visible war may claim thousands and perhaps even millions. But it is the invisible war that destroys countries feeding them up as menu items for the Islamofascist beast. As great a threat as the terrorist is, the phony moderate Muslim is a far greater threat—for Islamic leaders extract ten times the price of every moderate Muslim, both at home and abroad, demanding money, political power, influence, land, autonomy, positions and control in their name.

While we fight the invisible war, Islam exploits the fighting to set better terms in its own invisible war. As long as we give lip service to appeasing moderate Muslims, as long as we turn our energies to appeasement, as long as we allow ourselves and our societies to be held hostage to Muslim rage– we allow the enemy to set the terms of the war and in doing so set the terms of our own surrender.

Last year the Riverdale Jewish Center made headlines by accommodating a female Muslim exchange student’s need for a prayer space during school hours. As Rabbi Rosenblatt described it, “We’re just helping to welcome somebody’s child from overseas,” an announcement that was greeted by loud applause in his congregation.

King Solomon said in Kohelet, “Cast your bread upon the waters and it will return to you after many days.”

It took only a few months for the “bread” to return with a Muslim plot to bomb the Riverdale Jewish Center. Since no good deed done for Muslims goes unpunished, while the Rabbi and congregants of the Riverdale Jewish Center were congratulating themselves on their tolerance and open-mindedness, their eagerness to throw open the doors of their house of prayer to an enemy, their friendly neighborhood Muslims were plotting to kill and destroy. Memorial Day Blast Is Fourth Small Bombing in Manhattan in Past Two Years

A bomb blast outside a Starbucks coffee shop rattled the early morning Memorial Day quiet of Manhattan’s Upper East Side today, shattering windows and triggering the evacuation of 25 apartments.

The coffee shop was closed when the bomb erupted at 3:25 a.m., and there were no reported injuries.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said the first officers on the scene “found windows blown out of the Starbucks and the chair, the seat that is right outside, shattered.” The time of day echoed that of a pattern of unsolved early morning blasts that have occurred outside the British Consulate, the Mexican Consulate and the Armed Forces recruiting booth in Times Square over the past two years.

Canada minister blasts ‘dangerous’ leftist-Islamist anti-Semitism

May 25 2009 – A “new anti-Semitism” that emanates from an alliance of Western leftists and Islamic extremists is more dangerous than the “old European” form of Jew-hatred, Canada’s minister of citizenship, immigration and multiculturalism said as he wound up a four-day trip to Israel Sunday.

“The existential threat faced by Israel on a daily basis is ultimately a threat to the broader Western civilization,” said Jason Kenney, explaining the staunchly pro-Israel positions of his government, led by Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

“It’s a threat that comes from profoundly undemocratic forces that don’t have the same conception of human dignity or freedom, and which abuse Israel as a kind of representative of the broader West and Western liberal-democratic values,” said Kenney. “I also very acutely understand the nature of the new anti-Semitism, and I think it’s even more dangerous than the old European anti-Semitism.”

A telling answer on Islam Q&A

I must say I don’t know how Grace does it. I would need (as she suggests) an antacid to read this particular Islam Questions and Answers site but I would also want at least a set of hip waders and to be frank I would prefer a full hazmat suit. Here is a Muslim religious councilor advising that it is better for a young girl to risk death at her families hands than cause them dishonor by running away. Isn’t it also odd that Muslims are always claiming that so called ‘Honor killings’ are a tribal thing and not part of Islam at all but yet its constantly referred to as an aspect of the religion.

It is not permissible for your cousin to run away from her family and live with another family, because that involves disobeying her parents and upsetting them and damaging their reputation. Moreover her living with a strange family will pose a great danger to her and her religious commitment.

No matter how badly she is treated by her family, that cannot compare with what she is planning to do. No woman follows this course but she goes astray and loses her religious commitment. That is the punishment for disobeying her parents that comes in this world, before the Hereafter. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Two things for which the punishment is hastened in this world: injustice and disobedience to parents.” Narrated by al-Haakim and classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 2810.

She may come to regret it at the time when regret will be to no avail, when her father or mother dies angry with her.

So she must go back to her family and honour her father and treat him kindly. If he causes some annoyance let her bear it with patience and seek reward. She should understand that the fire of this world is not like the Fire of the Hereafter, and that no matter what hardships she endures in this world, if she earns the pleasure of Allaah and enters Paradise, she will indeed have succeeded, and no matter what comforts of this life she enjoys, if she then incurs the wrath of Allaah and enters His Fire, she will indeed be doomed.

She should regard the harm that her family does her as being like a sickness that cannot be warded off. She does not know, perhaps she may suffer diseases and pains that are many times worse than that harm, as a punishment for her disobedience and her living with someone other than her family.

She should strive to make du’aa’ and turn to Allaah, asking Him to guide her parents and her brother, and to help her to find a righteous husband.

If her parents insist on marrying her to someone who is not suitable for her, she may refer the matter to the sharee’ah court; the same applies if her father refuses to marry her to a compatible man who comes to propose marriage to her.

She does not have the right to arrange her own marriage without the permission of her wali (guardian). If she does that her marriage is invalid because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no marriage except with a wali.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2085; al-Tirmidhi, 1101; Ibn Maajah, 1881, from the hadeeth of Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Any woman who gets married without the permission of her wali, her marriage is invalid, her marriage is invalid, her marriage is invalid. If the marriage has been consummated, the mahr is hers because she has allowed the man to be intimate with her. If there is a dispute, then the ruler is the wali of the one who has no wali.” Narrated by Ahmad, 24417; Abu Dawood, 2083; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, no. 2709.

The point is that you should strive to advise your cousin of what we have said here. If she insists on running away from her family, you have to tell them about that, so as to prevent this great evil from happening, even if that leads to her not trusting you in the future. Denouncing evil is obligatory upon the one who is able to do it, and what you do will be good for her.

Her father should also be advised and reminded of Allaah, and warned against mistreating his children unlawfully. This is the kind of wrongdoing which will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection.

And Allaah knows best.

After shooting his sister and her fiancé, there was silence, Hasibullah Sadiqi told a jury on Friday. He remembered his ears ringing, and a .44 Magnum revolver in his hand.

Sadiqi, his sister, Khatera, and her fiancé, Feroz Mangal, had been out for dinner and movie with friends that night in September 2006.

On their way back to the Elmvale Acres shopping plaza, where Sadiqi had left his car, it was “pretty tense” as they entered the parking lot, Sadiqi testified at his murder trial.

Conversation had turned to their father, from whom Khatera was estranged, Sadiqi said.

Sadiqi told the court he had wanted his sister to speak to their father or at least respect and understand that he was “there for us,” during their youth. Sadiqi had hoped Mangal, as “an Afghani guy too and as a man,” would take his side and back him up, but instead, he stuck up for Khatera, Sadiqi testified.

Sadiqi said he tried to persuade his sister that their family needed unity around the engagement time, but the couple was being “hard-headed.”

Frustrated, Sadiqi eventually left the car and gave a dismissive wave, he testified. Then, he said, Mangal spoke.

“He said, ‘f— you, f— your father, f— your sister. I’ll bring your sister’s dead body to the wedding before I ever let her talk to your father. F— you,” Sadiqi told the court.

“Right there, I just exploded,” Sadiqi said.

“I felt like a thunderbolt hit my head, like I got shot, like someone broke a beer bottle on my head. Right there, I just lost total control. After that, I don’t know, I don’t remember.

“I remember that everything goes silent. Everything goes silent and my ears — my ear is ringing and I see the gun in my hand and I know something went wrong. I know that something is not right.”

Surveillance video shown to the jury shows flashes — believed to be gunshots — that start 46 seconds after the car entered the parking lot.

Khatera died at the scene, while Mangal was taken off life support and died 10 days later. Sadiqi faces two counts of first-degree murder in what the Crown argues was an “honour killing” sparked by anger over the couple’s engagement.

Lawyers representing Sadiqi are expected to argue he was provoked.

Under questioning from his lawyer, Lorne Goldstein, Sadiqi said he never formulated a plan to kill his sister, that he had never thought about killing her nor Mangal, and that he never had specific intent to cause their death.

Tribal differences were not an issue and the killings were not done to provide cleansing, he said. Asked what killing his sister did to the honour of the Sadiqi family, Sadiqi replied: “Damage it.”

Sadiqi said he was saddened and ashamed by what he had done. He described being confused, shocked and scared after the shooting, and eventually turned himself in.

Sadiqi said he had not sought bail after being arrested because he wanted to take responsibility.

On Friday, the Crown wrapped up its case with testimony from one of Mangal’s brothers — who described Khatera’s joy at living with the Mangal family — before Sadiqi took the stand.
With his black hair slicked back and wearing a grey suit and light blue shirt unbuttoned at the collar, Sadiqi, 23, said he had been holding the gun and some ammunition for a friend of a friend since early 2006, for $500 per month.

He said he usually kept the gun in his home, but had it in his car, under the driver’s seat, because the friend of a friend had asked him to keep it close in case that person needed it, he said.

But when faced by repeated questions by assistant Crown attorney Mark Moors regarding details of the friends and the gun, Sadiqi refused to identify the people or location where he’d received the weapon, even when directed to do so by Ontario Superior Court Justice Douglas Rutherford.

Two interesting lists of Muslim attacks in the US foiled and not.

First, a list of attacks on Jews on the US by the religion of peace brought to you by bare naked Islam:

The arrest yesterday of four would-be jihadis before they could attack two synagogues in New York City brings to mind a long list of terrorist assaults in the United States by Muslims on Jews. These began in 1977 and have continued regularly since, as suggested by the following list of major incidents (ignoring lesser ones that did damage only to property, such a series of attacks on Chicago-area synagogues):

  • March 1977: Hanafi Muslims seized three buildings in Washington, including the headquarters of B’nai B’rith, and held hostages for 39 hours, leading to one death and one severe injury.

  • November 1990: El Sayyid Nosair assassinated Rabbi Meir Kahane in a New York hotel.

  • February 1993: Ramzi Yusuf, the mastermind of the bombing of the World Trade Centerin New York, which claimed 7 lives and injured more than a thousand people,, declared the towers not a civilian target but a military one, by virtue of the fact that it might house a “Zionist official.”

  • June 1993: “Boom! Broken windows. Jews in the street,” is how one of the plotters described the carnage that would ensue from a planned “day of terror” with simultaneous bombings of the United Nations complex, the Lincoln and Holland tunnels, and other New York landmarks.

  • March 1994: Rashid Baz, a Palestinian immigrant, opened fire on a van carrying Orthodox Jewish boys across the Brooklyn Bridge, killing 16-year-old Ari Halberstam.

  • July 1997: ‘Ali Hasan Abu Kamal, a 69-year-old Palestinian, shot seven tourists atop theEmpire State building, killing one and severely wounding another; in his suicide note, he accused the United States of using Israel as “an instrument” against the Palestinians.

  • July 1997: Ghazi Ibrahim Abu Maizar’s near-explosion of a pipe bomb in the New York City subway system.

  • July 2002: Hesham Mohamed Ali Hadayet’s attack on the El Al counter at Los Angeles International Airport, killing two.

  • September 2005: Jam’iyyat Ul-Islam Is-Saheeh plot against two Los Angeles-area synagogues, disrupted due to a dropped mobile phone.

  • July 2006 : Naveed Haq assaulted the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, murdering one and injuring five.

  • May 2009: Four arrested in attempt to blow up two New York City synagogues.

U.S. agents have arrested four people who plotted to bomb a synagogue in the Riverdale section of the Bronx and to shoot down military jets with Stinger missiles, the U.S. Attorney’s office in Manhattan announced in a statement e-mailed May 20. Charges against the suspects include conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction in the United States and conspiracy to use anti-aircraft missiles. One of the four suspects reportedly told an FBI informant that he had ties with Jaish-e-Muhammad, a jihadist group based in Pakistan.

Kudos to NBC for reporting that they’re Black Muslims, i.e., convict-converts.

Investigators say the four, described as Black Muslims from the Bronx, had planned to place bombs at various targets. But New York city police and federal agents got wind of the plot and kept the men under careful surveillance.

Two years ago, two Muslims pleaded guilty to plotting to attack synagogues in Los Angeles. But officials said that they knew of no connection between those arrests and this latest plot in New York.

New York Muslim Terror Cell Plotted to Blow Up Synagogue

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation has arrested four terrorists in New York City after they bought what they thought were explosives and a Stinger missile to be used to blow up two synagogues and shoot down a plane at a nearby National Guard base.

The four men are from New York City and bear American names but told authorities they are linked with terrorists in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The FBI is still investigating their backgrounds.

The cell had been under surveillance for a year and bought phony explosives from FBI agents, who also sold them a fake Stinger missile. The men planned to place the would-be bombs in front of the Riverdale Temple in the Bronx and under parked cars as well as blow up the Riverdale Jewish Center.

An informer from a mosque helped authorities track the cell, which was arrested after New York policemen blocked the terrorists’ black SUV parked outside the temple, broke in the windows and handcuffed the suspects.

The alleged ringleader was James Cromitie, who the New York Daily News reported is the son of an Afghan immigrant and has a criminal record. His three accomplices were jailhouse converts to Islam.

On Wednesday, May 6, over 135 law enforcement personnel participated in concluding a year-long undercover investigation. Operation Build America
was launched in May 2008 to better understand the criminal activity
taking place in and around the Build America Shopping Center. The
shopping center is nestled in the Skyline community in the 3800 block
of South George Mason Drive. Community concerns of illegal activities
in the shopping center coupled with indicators that crime was in the
upswing sprung the operation into motion.

The investigation successfully infiltrated several criminal
organizations and businesses operating around the center. Undercover
police officers identified nearly 40 people suspected of criminal
activity that ranges from property crimes to crimes of violence. The
undercover operation successfully recovered stolen firearms and illegal
narcotics including cocaine and marijuana.

Collectively, 143 criminal arrest warrants and 15 search warrants were issued in this undercover operation.

The success of the operation can be attributed to the coordinated effort of several units and agencies:

The following people were arrested:

  1. (No Photo) Juvenile, currently 18, Alexandria area, charged with
    distribution of marijuana, distribution of stolen property, burglary,
    distribution of a stolen gun.
  2. Mohamed Abubaker
    Mohamed Abubaker, 20, 431 North Armistead Street, Alexandria, charged
    with distribution of marijuana in a school zone and possession with
    intent to distribute.
  3. Moustafa Moustafa
    Moustafa Moustafa, 44, 3701 South George Mason Drive, Falls Church,
    charged with money laundering and four counts of receiving stolen

Imam charged with sexual battery on teen boy at Tampa mosque

Just in case anyone thinks this rape case is an isolated exception and not actual Islamic policy by Imams to create terrorists you may want to read this Phyllis Chesler piece on the making of a terrorist. Also, previous articles on Vlad where an Iraqi woman was captured who recruited women, sent them to rape camps where they then became suicide bombers in Iraq.

Yasser Mohamed Shahade

TAMPA – A 35-year-old imam sexually battered a 13-year-old boy at a Tampa mosque Sunday morning, police say.

The victim was staying overnight at the mosque at 1307 W. North B St. waiting for early morning prayer, an arrest report states.

Yasser Mohamed Shahade, a prayer leader who had been in the country for about two months and had been staying at the mosque, sexually battered the victim about 6 a.m., police say. Police were called about noon Sunday, and they responded to Tampa General Hospital, where the call came from, police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said. Police aren’t releasing the name or details about the person who made the call, and details about the boy’s condition aren’t immediately available.

After responding to the hospital, Davis said, police went to the mosque. Shahade was arrested about 5:30 p.m. Shahade remains in Orient Road Jail. His bail has not been set.

A jail sergeant said Shahade declined to comment today.

The 2,400-square-foot mosque, Masjid Omar Al Mukhtar, opened within the past year. It has a worship area upstairs that can hold 50 women and an open room below where the mosque’s 130 male members worship.

Details were unavailable about who else had stayed overnight at the mosque, Davis said.

Former mosque board member Yusuf Strohmier said he was surprised after being told by a reporter of the arrest.

“If he did it — which is a key there, because you have to have witnesses — that’s just sick,” he said. “That is a sick thing to do.”

Gary Dicus, who owns a building next to the mosque, also was shocked by the charge against Shahade.

“It’s disturbing as the dickens,” he said.

Alaa Attia, a trustee of the mosque, said that if the accusation is true, it would go against the teachings of Islam.

Ramzy Kilic, executive director of the Tampa Council on American Islamic Relations, agreed. If true, he said, “The full justice of the law should be brought to this person.”
