UK: Asperger’s victim viciously assaulted

It’s high time that the Chinese and Hindu east Indian community staged a serious demonstration in England. The media needs to stop referring to Muslims as ‘Asians’ when there is as a rule only one demographic responsible for so much horror in Europe today and that is Muslims. The Chinese and Hindu community are a net gain to the UK in human and economic resource and are proportionately low in crime stats to overall population while Muslims are high and demanding as well as intolerant to British culture and peoples. The media seems to use the term ‘Asian’ instead of Muslim to avoid creating richly deserved anti Islamic sentiments. If I where a non Muslim in the UK from Asia, I would be as annoyed as if the media referred to Nazi’s as ‘white Europeans’ whenever they committed a horrific act in the name of the Reich.

A man with Asperger Syndrome was left with a fractured arm after a vicious and unprovoked assault in Rochdale.

The attack happened outside the Wellfield Surgery at the junction of Woodbine Street and Oldham Road, where the victim was knocked to ground by a punch to the face and then kicked repeatedly in the head while he lay helpless on the ground.

The 44-year-old victim had just been to the Costcutters convenience store at about 7pm on Wednesday 25 March when the offender ran up behind him and launched the unprovoked assault.

A brave civilian chased the offender down Oldham Road onto Crawford Street but they could not catch him.

The offender is described as Asian, between 18 and 25 years old, about 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in tall and of average build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, baggy dark blue jeans with a white logo on one pocket and trainers.

The victim suffered a large cut over his left eye and dislocated shoulder and fractured his arm in three places.

Police in Rochdale are now appealing to anyone who has information to come forward. Detectives are keen to speak to a woman who may have been waiting at the bus stop on Oldham Road at the time of the attack or a man using a telephone kiosk outside the Lloyds Pharmacy to come forward.

Detective Constable Amie Darnell, based at Rochdale CID, said: “This was an appalling, violent and totally unprovoked assault on a man who was minding his own business. The sheer level of violence this man resorted to was absolutely disgraceful and it would appear he made no effort to steal anything – it was just an act of mindless violence.

“I would urge anyone who has information to come forward and speak to us so we can find this man and give the victim, who suffered nasty injuries, some peace of mind after his horrific ordeal.”

Anyone with information should call Rochdale CID on 0161 856 8443 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.

Nigeria: Suspected Muslim fanatics burn churches in Nigeria

Three churches were burnt and several Christians injured in two cities in Nigeria’s northern state of Niger when suspected Muslim fanatics turned on Christians during Easter celebration on Monday, the private Punch newspaper reported Tuesday.

The violence took place in Gwada, where three churches were burnt and 26 worship pers injured as the fanatics stormed the churches.

The fanatics were apparently angered by the celebration during which Christian y ouths from all churches marched round the town, drumming and dancing in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In the capital city of Minna, only the determination of Christian youths prevent ed the Niger Baptist Church targeted by the fanatics from being razed, even though the attackers damaged vehicles and inflicted injuries on many worshippers.

Three vehicles were damaged in the premises of the church.

The police have sent reinforcements to the areas affected, but said no one was killed in the attacks.

Police spokesman Richard Oguche said 88 Muslim fanatics were arrested in Gwada and 20 in Minna.

As in other predominantly-Muslim states in Northern Nigeria, religious and sectarian violence are common and have been caused the deaths of thousands since Nigeria’s return to democratic rule in 1999.

After being shot, Sami Yousafzai fled Pakistan for London, thinking he was escaping Islamic extremism. He was shocked by the menacing support for the Taliban he found here

I still don’t know who wanted me dead. I’d been sitting in my car one day last November, not far from my house in the northwest Pakistan city of Peshawar, when a group of strangers walked up. One of them pointed a pistol through my window.

I remember that he wore a turban and shalwar kameez – the tunic and baggy pants common in the area – and that he had a long beard, dyed red with henna.

He shot me in the chest, hand and arm and then fled with his friends.

Miraculously, none of the bullets hit any arteries or vital organs. As soon as a doctor had patched me up, I booked a flight to London, where I planned to lie low for a while to rest and seek further medical help for a bullet that was lodged in my arm.

But more than that, I just wanted to be somewhere calm and safe, far from AK-toting gunmen, the suicide bombers and the daily, random violence of Pakistan’s borderlands.

My sense of relief at being in London didn’t last long. In one of the city’s many south Asian neighbourhoods I saw a tall young Afghan who reminded me of my would-be assassin, striding down the street like a bad dream. He, too, had a long beard and wore a shalwar kameez plus a big, loose turban of white silk.

Anyone dressed like that in Islam-abad would immediately have been picked up for questioning by the police. I had flown halfway across the world to get away from killers who resembled this young Londoner. I stared after him until he was gone from view. Continue Reading →

Algerian jailed for spraying urine, feces on food

 poo-throwing-jihadist2

From CNEWS April 14-2009  LONDON – An unemployed chemist was jailed Tuesday for spraying a mix of urine and feces on food, wine and children’s books in several British stores.

Sahnoun Daifallah was sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of four counts of contaminating goods.

The 42-year-old Algerian carried a mix of his waste in a container of weed killer concealed in a laptop bag, a court found. Using the nozzle, which poked out of the bag, Daifallah was able to spray large areas, leaving a powerful stench and causing tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Daifallah’s first target was the Air Balloon pub and restaurant near the town of Cheltenham, which he visited around lunchtime May 14. Kate Rochead, on duty that day, told The Associated Press she didn’t know exactly what area he sprayed.

“All we know was that it was a horrendous smell that was left behind,” she said.

Daifallah next visited a bookstore in neighbouring Cirencester, dousing hundreds of books – most of them in the children’s section.

Two days later he struck in the nearby suburban area of Quedgeley, where a customer spotting him squirting the frozen french fries at a supermarket. Daifallah then drove six kilometres to another supermarket, where an employee in the wine section noticed him acting suspiciously and reported an overpowering stench. Both supermarkets were closed for two days for cleaning. Shoppers reported suffering from rashes and nausea.

Local police said the products weren’t handled by customers, but Morrisons, one of the supermarkets targeted, said a small number of goods were returned as a precautionary measure. Tesco, the other supermarket hit by Daifallah, declined comment.

Police were able to identify Daifallah using security camera footage. When they raided his home, they found a stockpile of the substance and plans to spread it. Plastic bags containing excrement were marked with the names of cities on them.

Daifallah represented himself at Bristol Crown Court, where he pleaded not guilty.

Judge Carol Hagen said Britain’s security agencies had labelled him a high risk to public safety. Authorities have already begun deportation proceedings.

Union to challenge dismissal of bus driver fired in Funen case of niqab wearing passenger

A 41-year-old bus driver who made headlines two weeks ago after refusing to let a woman wearing a niqab onto his bus was fired on Tuesday by his employer, Fynbus.

According to the bus driver, the woman showed him a monthly pass, which has a photograph of the pass holder on it. When he asked her to lower her veil so he could be certain she was the woman pictured on the pass, she refused, whereupon he told her she could not ride on the bus.

The woman attempted to re-enter the bus four times and was removed on each occasion.

The driver’s labour union, 3F, indicated that they believed the firing to be a political statement and are therefore challenging the dismissal.

Iran complains to UN about Israeli “threats”

Oh, the hypocrisy.

_40806272_president_afp203bodyTue Apr 14, 2009  UNITED NATIONS,  (Reuters) – Iran on Tuesday called on the United Nations to respond firmly to what it described as Israel’s “unlawful and insolent threats” to launch an attack on Tehran’s nuclear installations.

Israeli officials, including President Shimon Peres, recently have suggested that the Jewish state could use military force to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons, as the West suspects it is doing.

Iran insists it is only interested in building reactors that peacefully generate electricity.

Its U.N. ambassador, in a letter to Mexican U.N. Ambassador Claude Heller, said Israel was violating the U.N. charter and urged the international body to respond clearly and resolutely. Mexico holds the rotating presidency of the Security Council.

“These outrageous threats of resorting to criminal and terrorist acts against a sovereign country and a member of the United Nations not only display the aggressive and warmongering nature of the Zionist regime, but also constitute blatant violations of international law,” Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Khazaee wrote.

The letter came two days after Peres told Israel’s Kol Hai radio that Israel would respond with force if Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad refused to soften his position on proceeding with an uranium enrichment program.

“We’ll strike him,” Peres said in the interview.

An aide to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quoted last month by Atlantic magazine as saying the government was weighing the military option.

Khazaee said the remarks were “unlawful and insolent threats” based on “fabricated pretexts.”

“We never kill people. We are Muslims. We are marines, coastguards  — not pirates.” For reasons we can only guess at, the main stream media is unwilling to report the fact that the ongoing pirate attacks are being perpetrated by Muslims and that large parts of their ransom are passed on to Islamic extremist groups either through protection pay or through the purchase of weapons. Either way the end result is that the ransoms being paid are financing the Islamic extremists war on the west.

Pakistani Cleric: Swat Deal Gives Taliban Immunity

[kaltura-widget wid=”iy0n2ukur4″ width=”410″ height=”364″ addpermission=”3″ editpermission=”3″ /]

Of course the murders and other crimes committed by the Taliban, including selling and profiting from drugs, are all part of jihad so are legal under Islamic law.

Pakistani cleric claims deal imposing Islamic law in troubled valley grants Taliban immunity

Asked Tuesday in a television interview if the new courts would hear complaints from Swat residents about Fazlullah or his followers, Muhammad said they could not.

“We intend to bury the past,” Muhammad told the ARY channel, sitting off-screen because he considers photographic or TV images to be against Islam. “Past things will be left behind and we will go for a new life in peace.”  I’m amazed there is room what with all the heads buried both figuratively and non

Asked if the Taliban would enjoy such immunity, a provincial government minister only pleaded for calm so that peace could take hold.

“Everyone should understand what we have gone through and what kind of hardship people in Swat have suffered,” Wajid Ali Khan said. “We can look into any disputes and controversy at some later stage.”

After weeks of foot-dragging, Zardari approved the Sharia regulation late Monday only after Parliament voted unanimously to adopt a resolution urging him to sign it.

His apparent reluctance has fueled doubts about whether the pact will hold. Few of the estimated 500,000 people displaced by the fighting have felt confident enough to return.

The resolution also diluted Zardari’s personal responsibility for a pact that has drawn fierce criticism from rights groups as well as Pakistan’s foreign backers, who are pumping billions of dollars into the country in hopes of stabilizing its pro-Western democracy.

Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira said Tuesday that the pact was little more than a tactical maneuver in the country’s “long war” with extremists.

“Those people who want to hijack Pakistan and destabilize Pakistan, they used (the demand for speedy justice) as a propaganda tool,” Kaira said. “We have taken that idea out of the hand of the exploiters.”

He insisted the Sharia legislation would not introduce a version of Islamic law like that introduced by the former Taliban regime in Afghanistan.

“It is a misconception that we are going to enforce Mullahism,” he said.

A spokesman for the Taliban said the militants would cooperate. If the law is quickly implemented, “the world will see how much peace and prosperity comes to this region,” Muslim Khan said.

Fighting for free speech

The International Free Press Society is an organisation that has been set up in order to examine and report on countries and groups that seek to stifle free speech and the right of opinion around the world. Some are so afraid of the truth being exposed that a cyber attack was immediately launched against IFPS’s web site.

We’re trying to make the attackers’ strategy counterproductive by helping the
same information go viral on the internet. If thousands of websites post the
same material — including information on how one can purchase one of the
cartoons — their efforts will have been in vain.

Pakistani Taliban begin imposing rule in new area

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) – Pakistani Taliban are imposing their rule in a Pakistani mountain valley they took over last week, spreading fear in the area only 100 km (60 miles) from the capital, police and residents said on Monday.

Surging militant violence across Pakistan and the spread of Taliban influence through the northwest are reviving concerns about the stability of the nuclear-armed U.S. ally.

Pakistan is crucial to U.S. efforts to stabilize neighboring Afghanistan but the government has been unable to check militant attacks in its cities let alone stop insurgents crossing into Afghanistan from border strongholds to battle Western forces.

Clashes erupted in Buner district last week after scores of Taliban moved in unopposed from the neighboring Swat valley, where authorities struck a deal with Islamists in February to enforce Islamic law in a bid to end violence.

Buner residents formed a militia, or “lashkar,” to resist the militants and 13 people, including eight Taliban, three policemen and two villagers, were killed in clashes.

Authorities say they are negotiating with the militants to persuade them to withdraw but the Taliban have stayed put and appeared determined to take over the valley, police said. Continue Reading →

Womens Rights Activist Murdered in Afghanistan

From the Globe and Mail April12-2009

KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN — In the hour before her killers pulled up beside the rickshaw and shot her at close range, Sitara Achakzai turned to a female politician riding beside her with a strange look.

“I’m not afraid of death,” said Ms. Achakzai, a well-known women’s rights advocate and one of three elected women sitting on Kandahar’s provincial council. “I can go and get killed and it’s no big deal.”

Ms. Achakzai’s friend, a provincial councillor who narrowly escaped death in a bombing at council headquarters less than two weeks ago, was so stunned by the comment, made just before the rickshaw pulled up to her stop, she got out without asking what prompted the revelation. Not long after, news came yesterday that she would never have another chance.

Ms. Achakzai, a dual Afghan and German citizen who returned to help rebuild her country in 2004, was shot at close range by gunmen on motorbikes before her rickshaw could finish the slow crawl back to her home. Continue Reading →

Navy Made Split-Second Decision to Open Fire in Captain Rescue

MOMBASA, Kenya —  U.S. forces freed an American ship captain and killed three of his captors Sunday in a daring rescue that ended a five-day standoff between the world’s most powerful navy and Somali pirates in a lifeboat far off the Horn of Africa.

Capt. Richard Phillips was in “imminent danger” of being killed before a Navy commander made a split second decision to shoot the pirates in an operation authorized by President Barack Obama, Vice Adm. Bill Gortney said.

He said the pirates were armed with AK-47s and small-caliber pistols and were pointing the rifles at the captain when the commander of the nearby USS Bainbridge gave the order to open fire.

Gortney, the commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, said the White House had given “very clear guidance and authority” to take action if Phillips’ life was in danger.

Phillips’ crew, who said they had escaped after he offered himself as a hostage, erupted in cheers aboard their ship docked in Mombasa, Kenya. Some waved an American flag and fired flares in celebration.

Phillips, 53, of Underhill, Vermont, was not hurt in several minutes of gunfire and the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet said he was resting comfortably on a U.S. warship after receiving a medical exam.

Seals, those who have brought me home,” Phillips said by phone to Maersk Line Limited President and CEO John Reinhart, the company head told reporters. A photo released by the Navy showed Phillips unharmed and shaking hands with the commanding officer of the Bainbridge

Obama said Phillips had courage that was “a model for all Americans” and he was pleased about the rescue, adding that the United States needs help from other countries to deal with the threat of piracy and to hold pirates accountable. Continue Reading →

Saudi judge upholds man’s marriage to 8-year-old

CNN) — A Saudi mother is expected to appeal a judge’s ruling after he once again refused to let her 8-year-old daughter divorce a 47-year-old man, a relative said.

Sheikh Habib Al-Habib made the ruling Saturday in the Saudi city of Onaiza. Late last year, he rejected a petition to annul the marriage.

The case, which has drawn criticism from local and international rights groups, came to light in December when Al-Habib declined to annul the marriage on a legal technicality. His dismissal of the mother’s petition sparked outrage and made headlines around the world.

The judge said the mother, who is separated from the girl’s father, was not the legal guardian and therefore could not represent her daughter, the mother’s lawyer, Abdullah al-Jutaili, said at the time.

The girl’s husband pledged not to consummate the marriage until the girl reaches puberty, according to al-Jutaili, who added that the girl’s father arranged the marriage to settle his debts with the man, who is considered “a close friend.”

In March, an appeals court in the Saudi capital of Riyadh declined to certify the original ruling, in essence rejecting al-Habib’s verdict, and sent the case back to al-Habib for reconsideration.

Under the Saudi legal process, the appeals court ruling meant that the marriage was still in effect, but that a challenge to the marriage was still ongoing.

The relative, who said the girl’s mother will continue to pursue a divorce, told CNN the judge “stuck by his earlier verdict and insisted that the girl could petition the court for a divorce once she reached puberty.” Continue Reading →

PAKISTAN: SUSPECTS IN RAPE OF CHRISTIAN GIRL CLEARED

slaveryHow is it the west finds itself allied with this state that is so anti-west and anti-Christian? Violence against Christians is accepted as normal in Pakistan. The testimony of a Christian is one third that of a Muslim in this backwater cesspool known as Pakistan

from the Compass Direct News

Police in Muslim-majority nation suspected of corruption.

ISTANBUL, April 10 (Compass Direct News) – Police have declared three Pakistani men innocent of raping a 13-year-old Christian girl despite eye witness accounts and medical evidence indicating their guilt. At a hearing in Nankana Sahib district court on April 3, police from the Pakistani town of Sangla Hill, 64 miles from Lahore, cleared 40-year-old Mohammed Shahbaz, 30-year-old Waqas Sadiq and 25-year-old Yousaf Sadiq of accusations of raping and threatening Ambreen Masih. Shahbaz was the only suspect to attend the hearing, which was initially called to discuss terms of his pre-arrest bail. But Judge Ijaz Hussan Awan said he couldn’t set terms for bail if police didn’t want to arrest or detain him. “In Pakistan it has always been like this – the wealthy person can approach the police and change the course of an investigation,” said prosecuting attorney Akbar Durrani. “Regarding Christians, they cannot put any pressure on the police for a fair investigation.”
