Labour candidate ‘too white and Jewish’ for office.

I guess that’s justice for representing a party that has inundated Britain with immigrants and coddles the Muslim vote as if the very life of the party depended on it. [They are not far off on that one though.]

The Labour Party has become embroiled in a race row after a prospective female councillor was allegedly told she was ‘too white and Jewish’ to be selected.

Elaina Cohen claims that Labour councillor Mahmood Hussain said he would not support her application for an inner-city ward because ‘my Muslim members don’t want you because you are Jewish’.

Mrs Cohen, 50, has made an official complaint about the alleged remarks made by Mr Hussain, a Muslim and former lord mayor of Birmingham.

She said: ‘I am shocked and upset that a member of the Labour Party in this day and age could even think something like that, let alone say it.

‘People should not be allowed to make racist comments like that. If someone in the party feels I cannot represent them because of my colour or religion, that’s ridiculous.

‘I felt particularly aggrieved because I have worked across all sections of the community, particularly with the Muslim section, and have been on official visits to Pakistan.’

Mrs Cohen had applied to stand as a Labour councillor for the Birmingham ward of East Handsworth and Lozells, which has a high Asian and Afro-Caribbean population.

As one of Labour’s safest seats on Tory-led Birmingham city council, the final candidate would be almost certain of victory at the June 4 by-election.

But when Mrs Cohen telephoned 57-year-old Mr Hussain for his support, she was astonished to be told that she was too ‘white and Jewish’ to be considered.

Lorraine Briscoe, who runs a local community association, was sitting next to Mrs Cohen when the conversation took place on speakerphone last Tuesday.

‘I was disgusted that a councillor could make comments like that in 2009,’ she said.

‘He told her, “They will not vote for someone who is white and Jewish. My Muslim members don’t want you because you are Jewish”.

‘Elaina then asked him if he had talked to his Muslim members about it and he said, “I don’t want to talk about it with you” and hung up.

‘Elaina does a lot of good work in this community and she does not see race or religion, she just sees people.’

Two days after the alleged conversation, Mrs Cohen and another candidate were rejected by a pre-selection panel after failing to gain the support of the local party.

Instead, members were presented with one candidate, black South African Hendrina Quinnen, who was selected by an almost unanimous vote.

Mrs Cohen has now sent an official complaint to Labour Party general secretary Ray Collins and Birmingham city council accusing Mr Hussain of improper conduct. 

Mr Hussain said yesterday: ‘I would not make those sort of comments. The allegations are not true.’

I still don’t know who wanted me dead. I’d been sitting in my car one day last November, not far from my house in the northwest Pakistan city of Peshawar, when a group of strangers walked up. One of them pointed a pistol through my window.

I remember that he wore a turban and shalwar kameez – the tunic and baggy pants common in the area – and that he had a long beard, dyed red with henna.

He shot me in the chest, hand and arm and then fled with his friends.

Miraculously, none of the bullets hit any arteries or vital organs. As soon as a doctor had patched me up, I booked a flight to London, where I planned to lie low for a while to rest and seek further medical help for a bullet that was lodged in my arm.

But more than that, I just wanted to be somewhere calm and safe, far from AK-toting gunmen, the suicide bombers and the daily, random violence of Pakistan’s borderlands.

My sense of relief at being in London didn’t last long. In one of the city’s many south Asian neighbourhoods I saw a tall young Afghan who reminded me of my would-be assassin, striding down the street like a bad dream. He, too, had a long beard and wore a shalwar kameez plus a big, loose turban of white silk.

Anyone dressed like that in Islam-abad would immediately have been picked up for questioning by the police. I had flown halfway across the world to get away from killers who resembled this young Londoner. I stared after him until he was gone from view. Continue Reading →

Algerian jailed for spraying urine, feces on food

From CNEWS April 14-2009  LONDON – An unemployed chemist was jailed Tuesday for spraying a mix of urine and feces on food, wine and children’s books in several British stores.

Sahnoun Daifallah was sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of four counts of contaminating goods.

The 42-year-old Algerian carried a mix of his waste in a container of weed killer concealed in a laptop bag, a court found. Using the nozzle, which poked out of the bag, Daifallah was able to spray large areas, leaving a powerful stench and causing tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Daifallah’s first target was the Air Balloon pub and restaurant near the town of Cheltenham, which he visited around lunchtime May 14. Kate Rochead, on duty that day, told The Associated Press she didn’t know exactly what area he sprayed.

“All we know was that it was a horrendous smell that was left behind,” she said.

Daifallah next visited a bookstore in neighbouring Cirencester, dousing hundreds of books – most of them in the children’s section.

Two days later he struck in the nearby suburban area of Quedgeley, where a customer spotting him squirting the frozen french fries at a supermarket. Daifallah then drove six kilometres to another supermarket, where an employee in the wine section noticed him acting suspiciously and reported an overpowering stench. Both supermarkets were closed for two days for cleaning. Shoppers reported suffering from rashes and nausea.

Local police said the products weren’t handled by customers, but Morrisons, one of the supermarkets targeted, said a small number of goods were returned as a precautionary measure. Tesco, the other supermarket hit by Daifallah, declined comment.

Police were able to identify Daifallah using security camera footage. When they raided his home, they found a stockpile of the substance and plans to spread it. Plastic bags containing excrement were marked with the names of cities on them.

Daifallah represented himself at Bristol Crown Court, where he pleaded not guilty.

Judge Carol Hagen said Britain’s security agencies had labelled him a high risk to public safety. Authorities have already begun deportation proceedings.

“We never kill people. We are Muslims. We are marines, coastguards  — not pirates.” For reasons we can only guess at, the main stream media is unwilling to report the fact that the ongoing pirate attacks are being perpetrated by Muslims and that large parts of their ransom are passed on to Islamic extremist groups either through protection pay or through the purchase of weapons. Either way the end result is that the ransoms being paid are financing the Islamic extremists war on the west.

Ships held by Somali pirates

(Reuters) – Somali pirates hijacked two more cargo vessels and opened fire on a third on Tuesday in attacks that showed their determination to continue striking shipping in the area’s strategic waterways.

 Pirates attacked at least 15 vessels off the coast of Somalia last month after only two in January and February.

Below are facts about the ships believed to be under pirate control and about the increase in piracy:

 STOLT STRENGTH: Seized November 10. The chemical tanker had 23 Filipino crew aboard. It was carrying nearly 24,000 tons of oil products.

 CHEMSTAR VENUS: Seized November 15. The tanker was traveling from Dumai, Indonesia, to Ukraine. It had 18 Filipino and five South Korean crew.

 NAMES UNKNOWN: Seized on December 10. Pirates hijacked two Yemeni fishing vessels with a total of 22 crew in coastal waters in the Gulf of Aden. Five crew reportedly escaped.

 NAMES UNKNOWN: Seized on December 16. A yacht with two on board, an Indonesian tugboat used by French oil company Total.

 LONGCHAMP: Seized on January 29, 2009. The liquefied petroleum gas tanker, built in 1990, had 13 crew on board, 12 Filipinos and one Indonesian. The tanker has a capacity of 3,415 tons. Continue Reading →

Like the dog that bites the hand that feeds it, the Muslim Council of Britain once again let others know that they are always Muslims first and Britons second. The British government will [ as it has in the past ] apply bandages and offer another treat.

Deli Jihad.

So what conclusions can one draw from the recent arrest of a woman in Guelph for putting sewing needles in packages of lunch meat at a local store. First we should look at the names of those involved. Schneiders is a name of German origin but also the surname of many Jews. Even more common in it’s other variant Schneiderman. Now lets look at the name of the arrested. Mastoora is a name of Muslim origin. This connection will not be brought up by the media and they will pass it off as a disgruntled ex employee [ Mastoora had recently been fired after seven years of employment with Maple Leaf foods] who was seeking revenge on a former employer. Perhaps that is all this is about. Then again, perhaps not.

This dangerous act seems to run along the same lines as the attacks we see on Starbucks. Whether Starbucks or Schneiders is owned by Jews or not is irrelevant. If the Muslim community perceives this to be true then they are soft targets for jihad and shall be attacked accordingly.

Guelph police make arrest in meat tampering case

Guelph, Ont. police have made an arrest in connection with a series of deli packages that were recently found with sewing needles inside them at a local No Frills supermarket.

Late Thursday, Guelph police announced they had made an arrest in connection with the case.

Store management called police after a No Frills customer brought a package that had been tampered with back to the supermarket last week.

The subsequent investigation found 13 sewing needles that had been inserted into 12 different Schneider’s meat product packages sold at the No Frills supermarket located at 191 Silvercreek Parkway in Guelph.

The store immediately pulled Schneider’s products from its shelves and police investigated the matter with the help of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

Sgt. Doug Pflug told ctvtoronto.ca that all of the affected products had been yanked from store shelves within a 25 kilometre radius of the No Frills during the investigation.

No injuries were reported as a result of the tampering.

Mastoora Qezil, 41, of Guelph, was arrested and charged with one count of common nuisance. She is scheduled to appear in bail court on Friday.

UK jihadist protesters say they will target soldiers returning from Iraq again

Islamist extremists in the UK are plotting to repeat their protest of yesterday in which they held up banners labelling British troops on their homecoming parade as “cowards” and “butchers”.The Islam for the UK group, believed to be a spin-off of the extremist al-Muhajiroun, called for similar rallies against other regiments coming home following protests in Luton town centre targeting the 2nd Battalion The Royal Anglian Regiment.

Members of the local community in Luton claim that the protesters were members of al-Muhajiroun itself, a virulently anti-Semitic organisation which claimed to have been disbanded in 2004. Its founders replaced it with two spin-off groups, both of which were then subsequently made illegal by the Government for glorifying terrorism.

The Home Office said today that anyone found to be guilty of belonging to a banned organisation would be prosecuted, and that it was constantly reviewing whether to ban further groups emerging throughout the UK.

 

Uh, might not be a bad idea.

The group of demonstrators – who held up placards in Luton town centre with slogans including: “Anglian Soldiers: Butchers of Basra”, “Anglian Soldiers: cowards, killers, extremists” and “British Government Terrorist Government” and hurled verbal abuse at passing soldiers – were described by the local MP as having brought “disgrace” to Luton.Yet in a statement posted on its website, Islam for the UK said further protests in a similar vein were needed, labelled the British troops as “terrorists” and compared them to the Nazis. Islam for the UK is run by Anjem Choudhury, the radical preacher who was right hand man to Omar Bakri Mohammed, former al-Muhajiroun leader….

A Muslim preacher of hate today ridiculed British soldiers who were abused during a homecoming parade – branding them cowards who have an ‘uncanny knack for death by friendly fire’.Firebrand preacher Anjem Choudary praised the Muslims who had protested at yesterday’s parade for the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment in Luton.

And in an inflammatory message posted on an Islamic extremist website, Choudary viciously mocked their comrade who was killed by friendly fire in Iraq.

 

But of course the dhimmi British officials go after not Choudary, but those who find this outrageous:

His words came as police charged a man who allegedly shouted abuse at the Muslim anti-war protesters.Choudary, who has links with banned Muslim cleric Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed, likened the soldiers to Nazis and branded yesterday’s homecoming a ‘vile parade’ of ‘brutal murderers’.

Choudary said: ‘On 10th March 2009 200 pathetic and cowardly British soldiers from the second battalion, of the Royal Anglian Regiment, pompously marched through Luton to demonstrate their skill at murdering and torturing thousands of innocent Muslim men, women and children (in Iraq) over a 24-month period.’

 

Choudary, you’ll recall, doesn’t believe any non-Muslim is innocent.

Choudary leads the controversial Islam For The UK organisation which wants Britain to be an Islamic state, ruled by Sharia law.His group was formed after Bakri’s fundamentalist organisation Al-Muhajiroun was banned by the Government.

He said: ‘Non-Muslims in Britain must appreciate that the actions of the British soldiers must be condemned unreservedly; they are not heroes but closer to cowards who cannot fight, as their uncanny knack for death by ‘friendly fire’ illustrates.’…

Dutch Left calls for an end to suicidal notion of tolerance

For years I have insisted that the resistance to the jihad and Islamic supremacism is not a Left/Right, liberal/conservative issue, but one of the defense of our common civilization — however, hardly anyone on the Left has ever demonstrated any awareness of this, perhaps because they have increasingly discarded the values of that common civilization altogether. However, harsh reality is causing some people to wake up in the Netherlands.

AMSTERDAM: Two years ago, the Dutch could quietly congratulate themselves on having brought what seemed to be a fair measure of consensus and reason to the meanest intersection in their national political life: the one where integration of Muslim immigrants crossed Dutch identity.In the run-up to choosing a new government in 2006, just 24 percent of the voters considered the issue important, and only 4 percent regarded it as the election’s central theme.

What a turnabout, it seemed – and whatever the reason (spent passions, optimism, resignation?), it was a soothing respite for a country whose history of tolerance was the first in 21st-century Europe to clash with the on-street realities of its growing Muslim population.

Since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks in the United States, the Netherlands had lived through something akin to a populist revolt against accommodating Islamic immigrants led by Pim Fortuyn, who was later murdered; the assassination of the filmmaker Theo Van Gogh, accused of blasphemy by a homegrown Muslim killer; and the bitter departure from the Netherlands of Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a Somali woman who became a member of Parliament before being marked for death for her criticism of radical Islam.

Now something fairly remarkable is happening again.

Two weeks ago, the country’s biggest left-wing political grouping, the Labor Party, which has responsibility for integration as a member of the coalition government led by the Christian Democrats, issued a position paper calling for the end of the failed model of Dutch “tolerance.”

It came at the same time Nicolas Sarkozy was making a case in France for greater opportunities for minorities that also contained an admission that the French notion of equality “doesn’t work anymore.”

But there was a difference. If judged on the standard scale of caution in dealing with cultural clashes and Muslims’ obligations to their new homes in Europe, the language of the Dutch position paper and Lilianne Ploumen, Labor’s chairperson, was exceptional.

The paper said: “The mistake we can never repeat is stifling criticism of cultures and religions for reasons of tolerance.”…

 

That would be a good starting point, but the wind is still largely blowing in the opposite direction.
