Baroness Warsi, who was hit by at least one egg, debated with the men
Conservative peer Baroness Warsi of Dewsbury, named Britain’s most powerful Muslim woman, has been pelted with eggs during a visit to Luton.
Baroness Warsi was taking part in a walkabout in the predominantly Muslim Bury Park area of Luton when she was confronted by a group of protesters.
The male protesters accused her of not being a proper Muslim and supporting the death of Muslims in Afghanistan.
Baroness Warsi, who was hit by at least one egg, debated with the men.
The shadow minister for community cohesion and social action was then taken into a nearby shop.
‘Views challenged’
Baroness Warsi told the BBC that the men were “idiots who did not represent the majority of British Muslims”.
She said these type of protesters “bring Muslims into huge disrepute”.
“I stood up to this group and said I challenge your views,” she told BBC News.
“They just weren’t prepared to listen. They shouted. I said if you want to have this debate, listen.”
She continued her walkabout with a police escort.
One of the protesters against Baroness Warsi, Sayful Islam, told the BBC they were “against everything she stands for”.
He said: “She is not a practising Muslim. Clearly by looking at her she does not represent Muslims.”
He said he and his fellow protesters did not throw the eggs at her.
Baroness Warsi was named as one of the most powerful women in The Power List – chosen by a panel led by Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
The award was set up to celebrate high performers in business, the arts, media, voluntary and public sectors.

Semanario Verdad Latinoamericana reports that nurses in a Bolivian hospital are forced to wear a hijab veil at their jobs.
The article, Bolivia: enfermeras son obligadas a llevar velo, says that state newspaper Cambio (link to their website here, but no link to their report on the hospital) reported that following a donation of $1.2 million US dollars by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during his visit Wednesday last week, the nurses at a hospital in El Alto have to wear a veil due to conditions set by Iran.

The Dutch government has so much to be ashamed of in the events described herein.
I have been aware of it since I first read about it on Klein Verzet (The Little Resistance) some time ago. Perhaps two years or more. Where to begin? I would say with the murder of Theo van Gogh, an event which was profoundly hurtful to a good size segment of the Dutch population, perhaps a segment that until then had been unaware of Islam and its true nature.
One man, a Rotterdam artist, Chris Ripke, (who’s studio is right next door to the Mosque in the Insulindestraat [the Turkish Iskender Pasa Camii Mosque) decided to do a fairly innocuous protest. He went to Rotterdam, and painted a small mural of an Angel, some Koranic text about peace at the bottom, and the words:” Though Shalt Not Kill” in Dutch across the mural.
A man representing the nearby mosque was of course, offended by the Christian sentiment on the mural and called the city and demanded it be removed. In point form, the city obliged and perhaps most horrifying of all, the police told all media present for the removal of the mural they may not film it and had their film taken away in keeping with the Dutch police of ‘non-escalation’. A few days ago, someone sent me a link to a video on youtube of this whole event. Apparently someone decided not to comply with the police request thankfully, and a group of us worked hard to translate and subtitle this as we feel as many people as humanly possible need to see this and understand its importance. Although this event is old, the presence of this tape is new to me and almost certainly new to the English speaking world. Here is the English subtitled video:

What a difference a few years make. When we started this blog, the Dutch had a reputation comparable to the Danes. But now it seems that the Netherlands has joined the madness of the UK, France, Sweden and Norway, in their mad dash to destroy the spirit of the native people, for diversity’s sake. In the Netherlands even the most innocuous statement can get you into trouble. What is it I am not allowed to hear or know?
How is whatever law is being used to isolate me from reality being selectively enforced as Mark Steyn so clearly points out in his article related to this? Here is the original youtube link with more information on this incident and links to other interviews and information. This may not be spectacularly violent or sexy as fascist expose’s go. But that is what makes this so important. We must familiarize ourselves with this and humiliate the Dutch government and thereby all western governments that would make it impossible for their own people to make healthy decisions for themselves by effectively blinding and deafening them. While the cop may not have been wearing jackboots, at least that would have gotten some people upset. With the Dutch policy of non-escalation, no one can know enough to be upset. But after all, isn’t that is what ‘non-escalation’ means?

right WHERE Theo was executed in cold blood a portrait of him was painted on a window shutter… not unlike the one in this video. The police painted over it IN THE NIGHT. Then it reappeared and was painted over again and so forth.

Islamic law jails men for beating and blinding crocodile, sanctions mutilation of women

I thought about posting this under the heading ‘Stupid Muslim Tricks’ but realized it’s quite a serious matter. An Islamic court in Bangladesh has sentenced two men for beating and blinding a prehistoric lizard, housed in a pond in front of the Khan Jahan Ali shrine. Cruelty to a crocodile under Islam will net you more jail time than deliberate brutal and barbaric cruelty to a woman. Who knew?
The following article found at bottom from TROP, documents and illustrates the severe cruelty meted out to young girls and women by men who, by their faith believe in exact and precise sharia punishment. It is highly unlikely that one has been incarcerated for their crime(s).

A court in southern Bangladesh sentenced two men to two years in jail after they beat and blinded a sacred crocodile at a Muslim shrine, police said Thursday. A magistrate handed down the punishment after the two — caretakers of the 15th century Khan Jahan Ali shrine in coastal Bagerhat district — were found guilty of “brutal treatment” of the animal, inspector Khairul Anam said. A pond in front of the shrine is home to crocodiles revered by thousands of devotees who visit the site. The caretakers collect money by showing the crocodiles to pilgrims.

KHARTOUM, Sudan – A 16-year-old south Sudanese girl was lashed 50 times after a judge ruled her knee-length skirt was indecent, her lawyer and family said in the latest case to push Sudan’s Islamic law into the spotlight.
The mother of teenager Silva Kashif told Reuters on Friday she was planning to sue the police who made the arrest and the judge who imposed the sentence, as her daughter was underage and a Christian.
The case will add fuel to a debate already raging over Sudan’s decency laws after this year’s high-profile conviction of Sudanese U.N. official Lubna Hussein, who was briefly jailed for wearing trousers in public.
Hussein, a former journalist who used her case to campaign against Sudan’s public order and decency regulations, is touring France to publicize her book about the prosecution. She had faced the maximum penalty of 40 lashes but was given a lighter sentence.
‘We all sat and cried’
Kashif, whose family comes from the south Sudanese town of Yambio, was arrested while walking to the market near her home in the Khartoum suburb of Kalatla last week, her mother Jenty Doro told Reuters.
“She is just a young girl but the policeman pulled her along in the market like she was a criminal. It was wrong,” said Doro.
Doro said Khashif was taken to Kalatla court where she was convicted and punished by a female police officer in front of the judge.
“I only heard about it after she was lashed. Later we all sat and cried … People have different religions and that should be taken into account,” she said.

Refusing a doctor a right?
Here is one case where I agree with the Muslims. I think everyone has a right to refuse medical care for themselves for whatever reason they want. They do not however, have the right to get what care they do want. For example, if a Muslim woman refuses a male doctor for a procedure she absolutely has that right. This does not however mean that a woman doctor has to come rushing to her side dropping all else. She, the Muslim patient, goes to the back of the line, assuming the woman doctor does not refuse to give her service. Or do doctors have that right? From Dutch NIS news:
Same goes for a Jewish patient that fears that a Muslim doctor may not give him the same or even safe care at all, as a Muslim patient. He has the right to refuse that doctors care. It may even be a rational reason but it does not need to be. However, this does not mean that doctors in a hospital have to play some sort of macabre game of schedule-shuffle to make sure that each patient has the exact gender, race, culture, height, degree of sexual attractiveness or whatever that a patient demands. I do believe we all have the right to refuse medical care for any reason our little heart can think of (perhaps short of mental health if we are indeed certifiable) but does not oblige anyone else to indulge our prejudices whatsoever.
Of course this isn’t about that at all. In reality, this is about Muslims doing what they do. Making certain that they are seen as, and treated as, a distinct and seperate group from the rest of the host society right up until the host society is forced to deal with Islam as the dominant set of rules. For Holland, this is about 10 years away.

Seldom have I experienced such a heavily attended event with such crowds of people, such emotion, such dismay. The evening’s topic: contemporary Christian persecution which has reached daunting dimensions and which, according to reliable sources and studies, has reached the highest levels in history, and which is ignored to an extent that can probably be only fathomed with the help of psychiatric analysis.
Only a few dry facts first: From China to South America, 230 million Christians are currently being persecuted for politically, culturally, or religiously motivated reasons. Last year, at least 500 Christians were killed in India during religious clashes. In North Korea, Christians have no legal protection at all and can be killed on the spot.
However, the worst situation for Christians can be found in Islamic countries. More than half of the 80,000 Iraqi Christians have fled Iraq due to countless targeted terrorist attacks. Only in the Kurdish part of Iraq can they live in relative safety. In Egypt a few media reports on the swine flu were sufficient for pogroms against the pork-eating Copts. Athanasios Heinein, the head of the exiled Coptic church in Greece calls this “cultural genocide”.
Even more harrowing are the individual reports. For example, the report about an abducted priest from Mosul for whom the parish had paid ransom, and who was still beheaded and returned mutilated. Or a report about a recent case of six male members of a Christian family who have been sentenced to death. Or another report of the abduction of Christian girls who are forcefully married and converted to Islam.
Most harrowing of all is what is happening in Europe: The total and utter ignorance of these persecutions against Christians. As soon the topic is mentioned, politicians and some pastors stiffen with fear: “Please do not say anything that could provoke the Islamic Faith Community. In any case, we all believe in Abraham.”

Some excellent speeches here by some people who the western world needs to pay a lot more attention to than they are. Simon Deng, Nonnie Darwish and others are amongst this illustrious group of speakers who deal with very important issues of apostasy in Islam and Islam and Western Civilization.
Personally I do not have an opinion on the Rifka Barry case, other than of course she has the absolute right to change her belief howsoever she likes and should be safe from the state, her family and community. There is much I do not understand however about the details. But I do know the people who have chosen to rally behind her and offer her massive support in many ways are far wiser and more experienced than I on these matters so I post this also for that reason. These speakers are excellent. The community represented here in this video is significant so in solidarity also I post this video, even if I have not been a strident voice on this particular individual and issue. One hopes that she turns 18 soon, and becomes a free agent within the US to live her life with the same rights and responsibilities as all Americans. If she is one.

CNN on the UN resolution on blasphemy
This is much more important than most people are aware of. The UN General assembly is considering a binding resolution on member nations (nearly all countries in the world) making it a criminal matter to say anything which may cast Islam in a bad light. This can actually include accurately reporting Islamic terrorists when they themselves expose their motives for their attack.

Somali Woman Stoned to Death After Being Convicted of Adultery

Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) — A Somali woman was stoned to death after being found guilty of adultery in breach of Islamic law.
Halima Ibrahim Abdirahman, a 29-year-old married woman, was executed after confessing to having had sex with a 20-year-old unmarried man, Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Abdirahman, the judge at her trial, told spectators at the execution yesterday at Eelboon in southern Somalia. Sheikh Ibrahim’s remarks were broadcast on Radio Hornafrik and monitored in the capital, Mogadishu.
The 20-year-old man, who was unidentified, was sentenced to 100 lashes, Sheikh Ibrahim said.
Most of southern and central Somalia is controlled by Islamist groups including al-Shabaab and Hisb-ul-Islam, following a two-year battle with the country’s Western-backed government. The Islamists are proponents of Shariah law, which operates under a code of Islamic principles first established in the Arab world by the prophet Muhammad in the seventh century.
In November 2008, a 13-year-old rape victim was stoned to death after being accused of adultery, according to Amnesty International, the London-based human rights group.
