I know it is obvious but we live in a peculiar age where the obvious gets overlooked, ignored and mocked to make room for the obviously wrong. I feel it is worth pointing out, if Gaza etc. had Israel’s weaponry, they would not be developing super high tech weapons to defend against weapons of terror that harm no one. They would destroy Israel and all near it to satisfy the Islamic ideology that calls for it. Meanwhile, Israel does this:

It should come as little surprise that Canadian Islamist groups are gushing with glee over the Toronto District School Board’s decision to play host to the illegal cafeteria-cum- mosque, it’s travelling Imam and the gender apartheid, Muslim menses ban set-up at Valley Park Middle School in Toronto. I especially love their references to the importance of human rights.
It appears the legal beagles over at the Canadian Muslim Lawyers Association must have opted to appear for Friday prayer instead of attending the classes which directly reference sections 15 and 28 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guaranteeing equality and gender equality respectively. I see a common theme here. Muslims all over the Western world work three shifts to try and undermine common law and Western liberal democracy and the reaction of the various governments is to make sure the media cannot talk about it or expose it except in circumstances where the establishment risks losing all public confidence by not stating the utterly obvious in the media. Now, European governments think they can stop or at least alleviate serious financial problems by not allowing people to know about them. It boggles the mind to think that those in control of the levers rely on such puerile and totalitarian solutions.
(BRUSSELS) – Brussels on Monday urged a clampdown on the world’s ratings agencies, including a ban on ratings for countries covered by international rescue packages, and possible legal action.
Internal Markets Commissioner Michel Barnier said in a speech delivered in Paris but released in Brussels that he would ask Poland, which currently holds the rotating European Union presidency, to put action on ratings agencies to ministers soon.
“We must first and foremost be more demanding on ratings of sovereign debts,” he said. “We see ecah day the effects on the countries concerned: a hike in the cost of credit, weakened states, possible contagion to other economies.”
Arriving in Brussels for eurozone talks, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble said that verification was needed “to check if there is abusive behaviour” by the agencies.

Britain’s Guardian newspaper revealed recently that Prince Turki al-Faisal gave an unpublicized speech earlier this month to senior officials at a NATO air base in the UK during which the former Saudi intelligence chief and ambassador to Washington and Britain implied that a nuclear arms race could break out in the Middle East if Iran continues to pursue its nuclear ambitions.
Faisal did not outline specific policies, but warned that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, it “would compel Saudi Arabia … to pursue policies which could lead to untold and possibly dramatic consequences.”
The newspaper also quoted an unnamed Saudi official as saying “we cannot live in a situation where Iran has nuclear weapons and we don’t.”
“If Iran develops a nuclear weapon, that will be unacceptable and we will have to follow suit,” the official said.

I received this e-mail from Mark Harding. I phoned Valley Park Middle School, who in a panic directed me to call the TDSB directly @ 416-397-3000. The TDSB “Communications Dept.” is so far incommunicado -they are away at a meeting.
….“Islamic ritual prayers are done in my 13 year old daughter’s middle school on every Friday.
Every Friday my daughter’s school cafeteria changes into a mosque as dozens of Muslim boys and their imams (Islamic preachers) lead Islamic ritual prayers and no one else can even walk through the cafeteria.
Some imams (Islamic preachers) come from the outside of the school and lead Muslim students in the Islamic prayer and this happens at the school Cafeteria after the lunch on Fridays. All other non-Muslims are in classes in the afternoon when they are using the cafeteria as mosque. There is a mosque nearby but the Muslim kids pray in the school
School administration take part preparing the Cafeteria and making it into mosque every Friday and no one but Muslims can use the Cafeteria during the Islamic prayers on Friday.
And there are a number of other incidents involving Islam and other anti-Christian issues that I complained about, including a white convert to Islam who was a supply teacher and who openly promoted Islam and bashed Christianity last year!”

“Mark, my other two kids also go to a different public primary school and the snack for all the kids in this primary school is all “Halal”. My wife complained about it and she was told she can prepare her own snack for our kids but the school would not drop the Halal menu for all the students. (ANSAmed) – TEL AVIV – Israel recently received information that pro-Palestinian activists who will be on board of the Flotilla headed for Gaza want to kill Israeli soldiers, several Israeli media report today. A Flotilla spokesman has already denied the accusations. Based on the information, also reported by military radio, bags filled with chemicals – including sulphuric acid – have been taken on board of some ships. The acid is reportedly meant to be thrown at Israeli troops in case they intercept the convoy, and then to be set on fire. ‘They come to kill’ is the dramatic headline in newspaper Maariv. The newspaper specifies that the pro-Palestinian activists headed for Gaza include members of Hamas and of the Turkish NGO Ihh, which staged an active resistance last year when the passenger ship Marmara was boarded by the Israeli Navy.
Nine Turkish passengers were killed. A spokesman of the Flotilla, Dror Feiler (former Israeli citizen) said in an interview on military radio that all participants of the expedition have promised not to use violence. If Israel has information that dangerous materials or people are present in the convoy, the organisers of the Flotilla should be informed. Feiler also accused Israel of being responsible in some way of a technical problem discovered yesterday in one of the Flotilla’s ships. The Flotilla is scheduled to depart in the coming days from a stretch of sea off the coast of Crete, headed for Gaza.

Victims say that officers in the borough of Tower Hamlets have ignored or downplayed outbreaks of hate crime, and suppressed evidence implicating Muslims in them, because they fear being accused of racism.
The claims come as four Tower Hamlets Muslims were jailed for at least 19 years for attacking a local white teacher who gave religious studies lessons to Muslim girls.
The Sunday Telegraph has uncovered more than a dozen other cases in Tower Hamlets where both Muslims and non-Muslims have been threatened or beaten for behaviour deemed to breach fundamentalist “Islamic norms.”
One victim, Mohammed Monzur Rahman, said he was left partially blind and with a dislocated shoulder after being attacked by a mob in Cannon Street Road, Shadwell, for smoking during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan last year.
“Two guys stopped me in the street and asked me why I was smoking,” he said. “I just carried on, and before I knew another dozen guys came and jumped me. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in hospital.” Continue Reading →

Increasing tensions between Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad intensified when hardline clerics exerted pressure on Ahmadinejad to obey the supreme leader as the ultimate authority. Those tensions were exacerbated with the arrest of over 25 of Ahmadinejad’s associates and loyalists, along with a high-level member of his inner circle. Supporters of the supreme leader are referring to Ahmadinejad’s group as “The Deviant Movement.”
This “group” has announced that within the upcoming weeks a monumental event will turn the tide to their advantage.
Based on a report from Iran’s Ayandeh, one of the officials within “The Deviant Movement” has informed his confidants that certain sources close to the “Mahdi’s Emergence Movement” have stated that an important event will soon change the course of operations to Ahmadinejad’s favor. According to interpretations offered by Ahmadinejad’s team, a high-ranking member of the Islamic Republic will meet with a climactic incident. This in turn will build up to the announcement of the “covert emergence” of the Twelfth Imam (or Mahdi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
Hardliners critical of Ahmadinejad maintain that his team believes a covert emergence will commence on the 14th of Khordaad (June 5) in Medina, setting the stage for the announcement of the actual emergence in the next few years.
Certain accounts have chronicled that prior to the official emergence of the Mahdi, he will appear covertly in Medina, and during a period of one to three years he will lay the foundations for the actual announcement of his appearance.
The Deviant Movement states that: “At the time of the covert emergence, his regent (i.e., the supreme leader) will be deposed from his position.”
Previously, Ali Mottahari — a pro-supreme leader member of the Islamic Parliament — criticized Ahmadinejad:
Ahmadinejad believes that the covert emergence has, in fact, occurred. Therefore, he acts like he no longer needs the supreme leader and that he can disobey him, as he is taking his orders directly from the Mahdi himself.

BERLIN – The Iranian government is moving forward with the construction of rocket launch bases in Venezuela, the German daily Die Welt wrote in its Thursday edition.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is Teheran’s most important South American ally.

Iran is building intermediate- range missile launch pads on the Paraguaná Peninsula, and engineers from a construction firm – Khatam al-Anbia – owned by the Revolutionary Guards visited Paraguaná in February. Amir al-Hadschisadeh, the head of the Guard’s Air Force, participated in the visit, according to the report. Die Welt cited information from “Western security insiders.”
The rocket bases are to include measures to prevent air attacks on Venezuela as well as commando and control stations.
The Iranian military involvement in the project extends to bunker, barracks and watch tower construction. Twenty-meter deep rocket silos are planned. The cost of the Venezuelan military project is being paid for with Iranian oil revenue. The Iranians paid in cash for the preliminary phase of the project and, the total cost is expected to amount to “dozens of millions” of dollars, Die Welt wrote.
The Paraguaná Peninsula is on the coast of Venezuela and is roughly 120 kilometers from America’s main South American partner, Columbia.
According to Die Welt, the clandestine agreement between Venezuela and Iran would mean the Chavez government would fire rocket at Iran’s enemies should the Islamic Republic face military strikes.
Meanwhile the German press agency (DPA) reported on Friday that Germany will not contest the placement of the Hamburg- based European- Iranian Trade Bank (EIH) on the EU sanctions list at the end of the month. The US Treasury Department sanctioned the EIH last year, saying it was one of the most important institutions in Europe for financing Iran’s missile and nuclear proliferation programs. Germany was the subject of criticism from American, French, British and Israeli officials because it refused to shut the EIH.
The EIH plays a crucial role in facilitating financial transactions for midsize German firms that are active in Iran. German- Iranian total trade amounted to over 4 billion euros in 2010, making German Iran’s No. 1 EU trade partner.
