A 12-year-old girl was gravely wounded in the Salzgitter district of Thiede, when several men fired indiscriminately with handguns in Silvester night. The child was hit in the upper body and underwent emergency surgery in a Wolfenbüttel hospital. According to Salzgitter police spokesman Matthias Pintak, the girl is not in critical condition.

Police only learnt about the wound by a gun in hospital. “The full police force went into action immediately”, said Pintak. With the help of witnesses, his colleagues swiftly determined three suspects who were lingering near the crime scene, and immediately arrested them. “Their involvement in the crime is currently under investigation and is not yet finally determined”, says Pintak. The area around Diesterwegstraße, where the crime happened, is still widely cordoned off around noontime. Police went in with track hounds searching for ammunition. According to information that our newspaper has obtained, on the street, in the cordoned-off area around a sports bar, more than 20 brass were found. Neighbours told our newspaper that there shortly before midnight, “firing in all directions” started. Some projectiles appear to have hit a house.

It has not yet finally been determined which types of guns were used. It is also still unclear if all of the three suspects were involved in the crime, and who of them used an armed weapon. “We are still investigating into whether the three suspects will appear before the committing magistrate” says Pintak. Not much is known about the identity of the three men. One of them is 65 years old.

New Year’s Eve 2016-2017 in Thiede already made nationwide headlines. Two voluntary firemen (33 and 28 years old) who were off-duty rushed to support their colleagues near the station house, and were beaten up. One of the two men still suffers from the after-effects. Unknown people had, among others, broken his ankle multiple times. The perpetrators were never apprehended, prosecution closed the case in May.

Kandel – A 15-year-old girl was stabbed down on Wednesday afternoon in a drugstore in Rhineland-Palatinate by an Afghan boy of the same age. He was the girl’s ex-boyfriend. This is what leading chief prosecutor Angelika Möhlig said on a press conference. An arrest warrant was issued.

The boy is in preliminary detention under strong suspicion of manslaughter. He has been refusing statement so far. According to the information, the girl broke up with the accused in the beginning of December. On wednesday, they encountered each other accidentally. The Afghan followed his ex-girlfriend and stabbed her repeatedly in the drugstore.

After the relationship of several months had ended, the youth had announced on social media that he wanted to “catch” his ex girlfriend, said Police Deputy Chief Eberhard Weber.

The Afghan entered Hesse in April 2016 as an unaccompanied underage refugee. He had been living in Neustadt an der Weinstraße (Rhineland-Palatinate) in a living group with three other youths since September 2017. He already had a record with the police for a hassle on the school yard.

Perpetrator Stabbed Her With a Kitchen Knife

The parents of the victim had pressed charges against the perpetrator for harassment two weeks ago. After the charge, the youth ignored the police’s citation several times. As a result, police delivered the citation personally to him before noon on the day of the crime.

The crime weapon is a 20 centimeter long kitchen knife. The weapon was secured, according to Dieter Lippold, leader of the investigation team. The Afghan did not resist arrest. There were no indications that he was under the influence of drugs. According to Lippold, he seemed quite indifferent. The two companions of the girl helped to detain the stabber until the police’s arrival.

The store is open again on the day after the deed, but shock and mourning run deep.

People have put flowers in front of the door, and lit candles. Customer Diana Jäger (31) was in the drugstore to fetch her photos at the evening of the deed. She heard an argument, then the girl’s screams: “I did not hear what it was about.” Then, the girl was lying on the floor, teenagers stood beside her. Diana Jäger: “They said, ‚Mia, stay awake!‘”

Everything went very fast. Jäger also saw the alleged perpetrator, she says: “He had a dirty smile on his face.”

The girl’s uncle, Jürgen Stöffler (55), says to BILD: “The last time I saw her was at our family celebration on Christmas day. We were in a Greek restaurant in Kandel. Now she is dead and I still can’t believe it. My brother-in-law called me yesterday and cried on the phone: ‚Mia was killed.‘”

The dm store manager, Roman Melcher (50), said to BILD: “I wish to express our deepest sympathy to the family. We are deeply saddened.”

2. Update
A photo of the “15 year old” Afghan child refugee has surfaced. His name is Abdul D.

In the afternoon, about 100 people of Kandel quietly and helplessly gathered in front of the supermarket.

Jewish Hanukkah Menorah Vandalized On The Street

Heilbronn. Over Christmas night, the Hanukkah Menorah of the Jewish community on Allee was vandalized. Does the deed have a political background?
By Kilian Krauth

Police are calling it “a sensitive matter”, but they are unable yet to determine whether it was a political deed or stupid mischief.

Upon Stimme’s inquiry, a spokesman confirms that the intelligence services will investigate. Monday morning at 9:45, a pedestrian noticed that the about three metres high Hanukkah Menorah in the Alley at Synagogengasse had been vandalized.

Many believers feel dumbfounded

Violence Against Officers
Dec. 26, 2017
Vienna: Thugs break female police officer’s hand

After three on-duty Viennese police officers were wounded, in part seriously, by thugs on Christmas Eve, the next attack on an officer followed on Christmas Day: Downtown, four men, who were involved in a fist fight, broke the woman’s hand.

According to police spokesman Patrick Maierhofer, the officers were alerted around 7 PM. The reason was a fist fight between four men at Fleischmarkt.
The officers wanted to calm down the situation, but the thugs immediately turned against the police and attacked them verbally and physically. The officer was taken to hospital with a fracture. Her colleagues arrested the perpetrators. They are four Russian citizens from Chechnya at the ages of 19, 20, 22 and 30 years.

Kneed the officer in the back of his neck
On Christmas Eve, three Chechens, a Georgian, and an Afghan attacked police officers in a restaurant at Vienna Stadtbahnbögen. An 18-year-old kneed an officer in the back of his neck from behind. The officer suffered a concussion and bruises. Another policeman was wounded on the shoulder and another on the nose.

Cologne: Antifa Announce They Will Harass Cops On New Year’s Eve

Cologne – “Cologne Against Right – Antifascist Action Committee” announce that on New Year’s Eve night, they will monitor the police, to prevent  “racial profiling” by the police.

New Year’s Eve In Cologne: RACIAL PROFILING IS ILLEGAL – CITIZEN*NESSES WATCH THE POLICE. Source: Köln Gegen Rechts/Antifaschistisches Aktionsbündnis

The group criticize that, in order to prevent the mass taharrush of New Year’s Eve 2015 from being repeated, 2016 police had stopped thousands of male, young Nafris from entering the square between Cathedral and train station:

“Thousands of visitors to downtown were singled out because of the color of their skin, their assumed nationality, and their religious beliefs. They were apprehended and presented to the public as a catch in the glistening floodlights of the Main Train Station Square.”

To fully appreciate the bigotry of Antifa there, it is crucial to understand that ethnically, a “Nafri” (police abbreviation for a specific group of young, criminal, Northern African illegal migrants) is mediterranean. Just like Southern Italians are, too, many of whom live in Germany, and are never singled out by the police. It is the behavior – aggressiveness, drunkenness, and showing up in large, male-only, groups of young men – and not the color of their skin that “singles” (groups?) Nafris out to the police.

The Antifa state that they, too, were all for security:

“Security to a long and healthy life, a secure income, a secure job, safety from pollution and destruction of the environment, security for our citizens’ rights, the security that police and intelligence services play by the rules, and, last but not least, the security to be protected from racial and gender-specific discrimination.”

Not once does their long-winded statement mention the security of women.

So, for New Year’s Eve 2017, they announce that they will be observing and recording the police.

They call upon citize*nnesses¹ to do the same, and to tweet and post on December 31 to ge*********@****up.net and Köln gegen Rechts – Antifaschistisches Aktionsbündnis (FB) under the hashtag  #copwatchcgn

Despite Köln gegen Rechts’ apparent deletion of critical comments, a few have made it through. One commenter asks:

“Why don’t you watch the women instead? Then the officers could stay home and celebrate with their families.”

Denmark Drastically Tightens Controls At German Border

December 23, 2017

In 2016, Denmark has introduced controls at the German border, because of the refugee crisis. Since September it even deploys armed soldiers. Now, the country tightens its border controls once again. Each single car is examined.

Denmark tightens the controls at the German border. The measure is part of the budget that parliament in Copenhagen adopted Friday evening.

Automatic license plate scanners will be installed at all border checkpoints. At the five large checkpoints Frøslev, Padborg, Kruså and the ferry terminals Rødby and Gedser, additional control huts will be established, according to the Danish news agency Ritzau.

At the other checkpoints, there will be sample checks with a patrol car, but, if necessary, also with civilian cars and from air. Denmark had tightened the controls at the German borders in January 2016 because of increasing numbers of refugees. The emphasis used to lay on the five large checkpoints.

Since late September, armed soldiers are deployed, to disencumber police. In October, the government extended the controls until at least May 12. Reasoning: risk of terror. The Danish government announced that they saw a risk in rejected asylum seekers from Germany.

Syrian Asylum Seeker Was Planning An Attack
Currently, Danish police have arrested a Syrian asylum seeker under terror suspicion, according to their statement, he and another Syrian who was convicted in Germany were planning an attack in Copenhagen. Police announce that the 30-year-old was apprehended in cooperation with the Danish intelligence service.

He and his 21-year-old accomplice wanted to “attack [people] with knives and after that, detonate one or multiple explosive devices” in November 2016 in Copenhagen. Their plan failed when Danish authorities refused entry to the younger of the two, and Danish police arrested him.

Denmark is bordered by Southern Sweden in the northeast, and Northern Germany to the south.

[Updated] Berlin: Mass Fight Between Turk and Arab Police Students

UPDATE: this incident took place in January 2017 (original story here).

Berliner Kurier broke it as a new incident on December 23. They have since taken it offline, so the link below won’t work anymore. We apologize. We always double-check. This mistake though was made by Berliner Kurier. They now took their story offline without explanation and without a retraction so we researched and found out why. Police Students Go Off
Large Police Unit Had To Move In!

23.12.17

Police operation in their own ranks: In Berlin, more than two police students came to blows and started a fight.

All this while our future guardians of law and order should be role models. Mid-last week, allegedly, a large police unit of a hundred officers were called to the cafeteria of the police academy Charlottenburger Chaussee.

Trainers wanted to mediate
First reports said that there was a mass fight between police students. Moreover, there were several injured – among them trainers. Shortly after the operation, allegedly there was an order to manage the affair “internally”.

It is still unclear whether this is true indeed. But “Berliner Kurier” knows from a reliable source that first, an argument, and then a brawl, broke out between police trainees of Turkish and Arabic background.

Allegedly, police internally are well aware that there have been repeated conflicts between these two ethnic groups.

The car was filled with three canisters of gasoline, bottles of other inflammable substances, and a propane gas cartridge, and burnt from the inside. The Federal Office For Criminal Investigations,  Bundeskriminalamt, took over investigations.

“Police Berlin: Around midnight, a man drove into the foyer of the SPD headquarters in the Willy Brandt Building in Kreuzberg. Apart from the driver, no one was wounded. Our LKA took over investigations.”

Germany: Augsburg Serial Exhibitionists Arrested: Syrian and Afghan “Refugees”

AUGSBURG
Exhibitionists On Bus and Street Tram: Police Make Two Arrests
Dec. 23, 2017

Lately, repeatedly exhibitionists appeared on busses and street trams. They even harassed children. Now the police announce two arrests. By Jörg Heinzle

Lately, cases of exhibitionism piled up in Augsburg. Time and again, men exposed themselves on busses, street trams and regional trains, and sometimes even harassed children. Now, police Augsburg have investigated two alleged serial perpetrators. The men, a Syrian and an Afghan asylum seeker, have been taken into preliminary detention this weekend. A third exhibitionist ist still being searched for.

One of the suspects, a 20-year-old Afghan, confessed four cases of exhibitionism, according to a police spokesman. The man exposed himself on street trams in front of girls. All of the victims are only ten and eleven years old. The arrest of the suspect came thanks to the alertedness of a criminal investigations officer, and a chance meeting. The investigator went downtown in his spare time on Friday. As he is professionally concerned with the case, he knew the images from the surveillance cameras of the street trams which show the suspect. The public utility company installed cameras, which save images temporarily, in all street trams. The investigators analyzed these recordings, which is how they obtained the images of the exhibitionists. The criminal investigations officer accidentally met the 20-year-old and recognized him. He informed his colleagues. The officers arrested the man, who did not resist, near Curt Frenzel Stadion.

Second Suspect Has Not Yet Confessed
Then, on Saturday, police caught a second man, who is allegedly behind at least seven cases of exhibitionism. He is a 32-year-old Syrian. He has not confessed yet. But police think that the man harassed mainly young girls and women – also on public transport, especially in Oberhausen. The 32-year-old did not just expose himself, but he also touched the victims. The youngest victim is ten years old. He allegedly also exposed himself before three boys between the ages of ten and eleven years.

The suspect was apprehended because two young women – 17 and 19 – saw and recognized the man on a street tram. He had harassed them a few days before on a tram in Ulmer Straße. But initially, they did not file a complaint. They now called the police. They followed the man when he exited the tram, and kept the officers informed about the location – he then was arrested in Bahnhofstraße.

Exhibitionist with tablet pc not yet apprehended
Those instances of exhibitionism that were committed by an approximately 30-year-old black African, who always had a white tablet pc with him during the deeds, have not yet been resolved though. The search for him is going on with pressure.

Call for witnesses: Criminal investigators are looking for witnesses, and for further possible victims in the cases of the two apprehended exhibitionists. The 20-year-old Afghan is about 1.60 metres tall. He has got dark, neck-length hair, a brown complexion, and Asian-Mongolian facial features. He was wearing a hooded blue winter jacket with white fur. The 32-year-old Syrian is about 1.70 metres tall and is of a strong, slightly fat, stature. He is described as a “southern” type with a full beard and black hair. He sometimes wore a pullover with white letters, sometimes a dark cap with the shield turned backwards. Criminal investigators are taking cues under telephone no. 0821/323-3810.

Store Detective Tells Migrant “It’s Not Permitted To Tear Open The Packaging” So Migrant Pummels Him

A  “man” of “oriental appearance”, who head-butted a store detective, giving him a concussion, and kicked and broke his ribs, when the detective told him that it’s not permitted to open the cellophane-sealed packages of perfume and test-spray them (according to the original police press release here), was handed his sentence today:

He got seven months jail time and will be immediately deported after serving time.
Just kidding! Of course not.
His sentence was suspended, and won’t affect his residence status at all. The court counted in his favour that he just enrolled in a German language class.

Freudenstadt
Perfume-Test Causes Freakout
By Ina Frank, Dec. 19., 2017

Freudenstadt – A 21-year-old was handed a suspended sentence for battery attack in the Kaufland department store in Freudenstadt

A young man wants to try a perfume at Kaufland in Freudenstadt, and tears open the cellophane. When he is being told that this is not permitted, he completely freaks out. The result is bruises and a capsular rupture of the finger of the store detective.

Repeatedly sprayed around in the aisle
The 21-year-old had to answer for this incident on Monday at the District Court Freudenstadt. On May 31. of this year, the accused, who was residing in Pfalzgrafenweiler at the time, was shopping at Kaufland department store in Freudenstadt. He wanted to test a perfume in the drugstore department, opened the packaging, and sprayed several times in the aisle. First, a sales lady notified him that this is not permitted, then the store detective attended. According to the charge, the accused then pushed the store detective against the shelf, kicked him repeatedly, and headbutted him. For the bruises and a capsular rupture in his pinkie finger, resulting from that, the store detective had to stay in hospital for two days.

When the hearing opened, the accused stated that he was willing to answer the judge’s questions. But his answers were quite monosyllabic – respectively that what the attending female interpreter made of them. The accused asserted that he thought the perfume was a sample for testing. He wasn’t able to recall why exactly the argument broke out. He couldn’t recall whether he beat or kicked and which parts of the detective’s body. Quickly, the witnesses were summoned, as the plaintiff did not have much to say and showed no insight at all into having committed a crime.

The first witness to speak was the detective. He recalled that the plaintiff first gave him a headbutt. His other memories were rather vague. [After receiving a concussion? No Way! – translator] He described the attacks of the accused as “Simply battering” and said that the accused was “difficult to restrain”. Therefore, the department manager, and the store manager, who arrived at the scene, finally dispatched the 21-year-old to the outside through the emergency exit.

His first criminal offense
Further witnesses were two female employees of Kaufland, who were busy at the adjoining shelves, the department manager and the store manager. All of them described the incident similarly: The plaintiff had become more and more aggressive, but they weren’t able to precisely recall when and where which punches and kicks landed, and if they hit target or not. A police officer finally explained that they identified the accused by finger prints on other goods in his shopping cart.

It was the first time that the plaintiff had committed a criminal offense. For this reason, and because he had just enrolled in a German class in the vocational college, a suspended sentence was handed. The plaintiff has to stay clear of criminal offenses for three years, otherwise, he will have to go to jail for seven months, the judge explained. The accused left the courtroom almost cheerful.
