J’Lem Post: Palestinian Arab Doctor Rules Out Swedish Blood Libel Claims…….

Sweden’s tabloid paper

just didn’t think to ask a doctor

Dr.Mazen Arafah:

Gee, if the Aftonbladet’s ace free lancer, Donald Boström, had asked me,
I could have saved him the trouble of reporting on this bogus claim

  • Read also Aftonbladet’s defence begins to crumble (by Ilya Meyer)
  • Palestinian family: We didn’t say organs taken (Aby Toameh J’lem Post)

But you see folks, getting to the real truth was never Boströms real aim, if that was his real intention, he would have picked up the phone and enquired from any doctor, in Sweden, in Israel or in the disputed territories, and gotten the same message. That being, one does not hope to make any money from harvesting organs from dead bodies.

J.Post: Following the controversial article in the Swedish tabloid that claimed IDF soldiers harvested dead Palestinian organs for money, J Post TV went out and asked, Dr.Mazen Arafah, director of Al-Ahli Hospital in Hebron about the allegations against Israel’s soldiers.

Dr.Arafah: It is known that to successfully transfer organs from one human being to another, both must be alive. It means the donor must die a clinical death, and be connected to a life support system.

J.Post: If the body under goes a full death without life support then there are fewer options to using the organs.

Dr.Arafah: The organs from a dead person can’t be used for a living person, but it can be used for educational purposes. They can take the organs and send it to a medical college.

J.Post: Dr.Arafat also told J.Post News TV that it’s not the hospital’s job to search the body for stolen organs, but such claims would be best investegated by the government

    Video here.

But there is another twist to the story, Arabs connected to the story are distancing themselves from Boström’s version of the events. From the Local:

In a further twist to the saga, the Palestinian families on which Boström based his claims appeared to distance themselves from the allegations in an article in the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday. The newspaper cites Ibrahim Ghanem, a relative of Bilal Ahmed Ghanem, the young Palestinian at the centre of the Aftonbladet story, who says that the family never told Boström that Israel had stolen his organs.

Maybe the journalist reached that conclusion on the basis of the stitches he saw on the body,” Ghanem told the newspaper.” But as far as the family is concerned, we don’t know if organs were removed from the body because we never performed our own autopsy. All we know is that Bilal’s teeth were missing.

Also worth noting, the main topic in the same article from the Local, is the fact that someone has filed charges against the Swedish tabloid paper for racial agitation, (hets mot folkgrupp), “a crime involving the public dissemination of statements which threaten or express contempt for one or more identified ethnic groups.

In the Tundra Tabloids’ opinion, if any charges should be brought up against the paper, it should be for libel, willfully lying in order to slander the intended target, this time it was the state of Israel’s IDF forces. Something that airhead, Åsa Linderborg, can’t wrap her little ol’ mind around

    A very perplexed Linderborg

“Is that true? I am perplexed,” “I think it is a shame that whenever solidarity is shown for the Palestinians and criticism is directed again Israel, someone cries anti-Semitism!”

Here it is folks, in black and white and out in the open. Hey lady, take your head out from your behind and make the needed enquiries from the medical community for crying out loud, this is the kind of journalism that is ruining your profession.

This clown actually thinks that leveling a blood libel against Jews, in which they’re being blamed for stealing organs from dead bodies…is just… “criticism of the IDF”. What planet did Linderborg drop down from anyways? Sad to say but, clueless droids like her and Boström are what passes for normal in many of the Nordic news organizations, including here in Finland as well. KGS

Hold up! There actually WAS some organ harvesting! Turns out it was Muslims in the KLA doing it though. Special thanks to Kitman for sending me this link. People really need to take a weekend and look over his excellent site. The following videos and content after, all thanks to kitmantv.blogspot.com

  • BBC 090409 – The Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA, UCK, OVK) abducted civilians in Kosovo who were then mistreated and in some cases killed, a BBC investigation has found. Kosovo Serbs, ethnic Albanians and Roma were among an estimated 2000 who went missing, both during and after the war in Kosovo.BBC’s ‘Crossing Continents’ uncovers disturbing evidence of atrocities by the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) during and after the Kosovo War ten years ago. The headlines about the war have consistently focused on Serb war crimes against ethnic Albanians. However, after a five-year investigation, Crossing Continents can now reveal another side to the conflict which the world was not meant to see. Using documents and recorded interviews he has been gathering since 2004, reporter Michael Montgomery reveals what happened after the Nato bombing stopped and the Kosovar refugees began returning to their homes. Little has so far been established of the hundreds of Serbs and other non-Albanians who remain unaccounted for after the war. Through painstaking examination of the evidence, Michael shows for the first time how some of them met their death and where their remains could be buried. It is a story of abduction and murder, but this time most of the victims are Serbs, and the alleged perpetrators Albanian, members of the KLA. He examines how it was that many of these kidnaps and murders took place under the noses of Nato and the United Nations, who were already in Kosovo when the abductions took place.

Michael travels to Western Kosovo, and from there over the border into Albania, following the route along which it is said hundreds of kidnapped men and women were taken to die. He journeys into Northern Albania, where it is believed that Serbs and others were held at secret camps, and where they were tortured and, in many cases killed. But some might say those killed within the secret camps were the lucky ones. In the countryside a few kilometres outside the town of Burrel there is a house where in 2004 a UN forensic science team conducted a search. Michael was one of only two journalists allowed to be present during the two-day operation. The aim of the search was to seek evidence to support claims that the KLA took several dozen hostages there to have their vital organs removed for sale before they died. According to documents seen by Crossing Continents, the findings of the forensic experts were of significant interest. That view is supported in the programme in an exclusive interview with the UN’s former top forensic scientist in Kosovo, who took part in the examination of the house. He supports the allegation that material from the investigation was destroyed by the UN War Crimes Tribunal.

Islam shows its usual tolerance in the Philipines:

From The Manila Times by way of The Religion of Peace:

Islam shows its multi faith tolerance to church in Kosovo

Islam shows its multi faith tolerance to church in Kosovo

many Filipinos were shocked to learn from a privileges speech of Senate Minority Leader Aquilino Piumentel Jr., the untiring advocate of federalism (out of concern for the Muslim Filipinos), that in Marawi City and Sulu province it is forbidden to display the cross—the symbol of Christianity—at the top or frontage of buildings, including church spires.

Christians are also proscribed from singing religious hymns. This makes it impossible for Catholics to hold sung High Masses and Protestants to melodiously exclaim their joy at the blessings of Amazing Grace.

Is intolerance toward Christian symbols and hymns in Marawi and Sulu the specter of Talibanization rearing its ugly head? Some Marawi City people are proud of their city being the Philippines’ “lone Islamic City.” They exult over trycyles there that proclaim their being the “Gift of Allah” and not of Jesus.

We oppose intolerance—especially religious intolerance. It cheers us to see many churches, chapels and mosques all over our country. We would lambast any act of intolerance by religious majorities against minorities.

The Muslim intolerance towards Christians in Marawi and Sulu must be stopped. It could be a sign of incipient Talibanization, the germ of a potential nationwide tragedy. It could turn the Mindanao problem from a socioeconomic and ethical one of injustice into a painful, widespread and bloody religious war.

Chechen rebels order separatist leader death-website

25 Aug 2009 07:54:05 GMT

Source: Reuters

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (Reuters) – Chechen rebels called on Tuesday for prominent separatist leader Akhmed Zakayev to be killed, saying he had abandoned Islam by recognising the legitimacy of the restive region’s Kremlin-backed government. Zakayev, who lives in London, represents the moderate wing of the separatist movement and has clashed with radical Islamist insurgents in Russia’s southern republic of Chechnya. Islamist rebel website www.kavkazcenter.com said Zakayav had recognised the authority of Ramzan Kadyrov, the Kremlin-backed leader of the region. “Public remarks show that he (Zakayev) has fallen away from Islam,” the website said, adding that Doku Umarov, Chechnya’s most wanted separatist leader, was behind the order. “The court has ruled that the killing of this apostate is a duty for Muslims.” It did not say what court had issued the ruling. Zakayev, 50, fought Russia as a senior rebel commander in two wars with Moscow in 1994-2000. After Russia regained control of the province, he fled to Europe and acted as an official rebel envoy until 2007. Russia has tried to extradite Zakayev for 13 alleged crimes including kidnapping and murder, but a British court rejected the request in 2003, causing a diplomatic row. Kadyrov said last month that he would welcome Zakayev’s return and possibly offer him a job in the regional culture ministry. But there were no indications Russia was ready to drop charges against him. Kadyrov faces strong criticism from human rights bodies after kidnappings and killings of human rights and charity activists in Chechnya. He denies any link to the killings. A powerful car bomb has ripped through a restaurant packed government officials in Thailand’s troubled Muslim-majority south, injuring at least 42 people, the army says.

Today’s blast was one of the most serious for months in the kingdom’s insurgency-plagued provinces bordering Malaysia where a bloody separatist rebellion has been raging for more than five years.

The 50-kilogram device was hidden inside a stolen Toyota pick-up truck and exploded during the busy lunch hour in the centre of Narathiwat, the main town in the province of the same name, officials said.

“It’s very horrible. We had intelligence that militants would mount a large-scale attack,” Lieutenant General Pichet Wisaichorn, the southern region army commander, told reporters.

He said that seven of the 42 people injured in the blast were in a critical condition. Most of the wounded were Buddhist government officials, who are often targeted by the Islamist militants in the region. Continue Reading →

No Headscarves in Antwerp’s Schools

by Baron Bodissey Gates of Vienna:

Our Flemish correspondent VH has compiled a report from several sources on the controversy (and death threats) caused by the recent decision to prohibit headscarves in the last two remaining public schools in Antwerp that allowed them:

Ban on headscarves

The ban on headscarves at the Koninklijk [Royal] Atheneum in Antwerp and the Athenaeum in Antwerp-Hoboken led to massive protests by the Muslim community beginning during the summer holidays. These were the last two secondary schools in Antwerp that permitted the wearing of headscarves. In the new school year, which begins September 1, there will be none. Three hundred pupils threatened to leave the school in protest, although they will not find a single school in Antwerp which allows headscarves. Only one school for technical (TSO) and one for special needs-education (BSO) remain.

This decision caused a great deal of fuss. A hundred Muslims (two thirds of whom are not pupils of the school) protested in the court area of the Royal Atheneum in Antwerp. The Imam Nordin Taouil, called for a school strike and even threatened a school revolt of Muslims throughout Flanders.

“The aggressive manner in which the radical Muslims responded, convinced me that the headscarf ban was the right decision,” said Karin Heremans, director of the Royal Athenaeum of Antwerp, where all political and religious symbols — including the headscarf — are now banned.

How the Imam, with whom she just had a constructive conversation, could turn 180 degrees in a second like that she still does not understand. “But we stick to our position,” she declares. “We wanted to avoid all this fuss by communicating it only after the exams.” She sighs.

The director mentions (in the Flemish newspaper Gazet van Antwerpen) that there was an increasing radicalization noticeable within the school walls. Several girls were being put under pressure to wear a headscarf. “The presence of these radical Muslims during the protests confirmed my suspicion that this effect had been slumbering for a while and even enormously increasing. The politicians should most urgently consider how to deal with this group. These radical Muslims systematically, under the guise of religious freedom, reject all democratic principles. They reject any compromise. They have the right to profess their faith, but not to impose it on others,” Karin Heremans said, who herself in the meanwhile was threatened by certain Muslims: “Those men told me that I should be whipped and must be hanged”… Continue Reading →

Pan Am bomber release ‘political’, says Mullen

Admiral Michael Mullen, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, believes that the release of the Lockerbie bomber has been a ‘political’ decision.

Speaking on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’, Adm. Mullen said on Sunday that he was ‘appalled’ by the decision to release Abdel Baset al-Megrahi, the Libyan convicted of killing 270 people in the 1988 Pan American airliner bombing.

“This is obviously a political decision,” said Mullen joining a group of high ranking US officials, who have denounced the decision.

The US President Barack Obama has described the release as ‘highly objectionable’, while the FBI Director Robert Mueller said the move ‘gives comfort to terrorists’ across the universe. Continue Reading →

Historical fantasies: Elmasry on Islamic slavery

From the National Post.

Historical fantasies

Jonathan Kay, National Post Published: Monday, August 24, 2009

This just in from former Canadian Islamic Congress chief Mohamed Elmasry: Islamic slavery wasn’t all that bad.

Writing in The Canadian Charger — a newly formed internet-based grab bag of anti-Western articles published by hard-left Canadian activists — Elmasry works hard to distinguish the evils of Christian slavery from the purportedly enlightened race-mixing that resulted from its Islamic equivalent.

Some snippets: “Islam, with no church, teaches that all humans, irrespective of their gender, skin col-our and ethnic origin are capable of doing good; there is no original sin. The One God is the Lord of all, not of special people or tribe[s] … Islam and Africa have made something of each other that is quite extraordinary … Islam teaches that slaves, who were then the result of wars, Africans or not, should be treated well and set free as soon as possible … Islam also teaches that slaves can buy their freedom in-kind. Thus many of them excelled to be teachers and even scholars … Islam teaches a slave is a victim of circumstances who should be helped to be free and treated fairly in the mean time. Trading in slaves is a sin. This is in contrast to the teachings of the Bible, ‘Slaves, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling.'” … The Arab Muslims called Africans Zanji (hence the island of Zanjibar or Zanzibar), Habashi (from Habasha, Arabic for Ethiopian) or Sudani (Arabic for black). Such

Elmasry’s theme is that Islamic slavery was an enlightened exercise in regional

multiculturalism

names “were not derogatory but simply ethnographic … Some [slaves] achieved high rank and status …” And so on.

The basic theme is that Islamic slavery — to the extent it was bad at all (and it’s not really clear that Elmasry thinks it was) — was an enlightened, almost consensual, win-win exercise in regional multiculturalism. In his characteristically absurd elevation of Islam over Christianity, he makes no mention of the fact that religious Christians led the abolition movement in the West — while slavery persisted wholesale in the Arab world until late in the 20th century, and still survives in parts of Islamic Africa, including Sudan. Indeed, one wonders what the Christian tribes-people from southern Sudan who have been abducted, forcibly converted to Islam and enslaved by Arab Muslims in recent years would make of Elmasry’s historical fantasies.

It’s amazing, isn’t it? Our Christian leaders seem to do nothing but apologize these days — for every historical sin under the sun. But here you have a man who recently led the most prominent Muslim activist group in Canada, and he thinks it’s just dandy that his Arab forebears colonized and enslaved great swathes of Africa over the course of many centuries — a colonial situation that essentially persists in Sudan and regions of the Maghreb.

Remember this the next time Elmasry or one of his fellow travelers denounces Western “imperialism.”

NGO: Academic should quit Cast Lead inquiry

U.N Watch does it’s usual excellent job of cathing the absurd and the biased. I doubt at this point anyone would be surprised that The U.N. would appoint someone who openly denies Israel the right to defend itself against rocket attacks to a commission to determine the legality of events in operation Cast Lead.

Analysis and Commentary from UN Watch in Geneva

UN Watch today sent a request to UN Human Rights Council President Alex van Meuwen, asking him to take action within seven days, if necessary, on its motion to disqualify Prof. Christine Chinkin from the council’s inquiry on Gaza on grounds of bias. Today’s Jerusalem Post features the following report on the UN Watch legal brief.

A European non-government organization has called on the UN to remove a British academic from its recent inquiry into alleged human rights violations in Gaza, over statements made rejecting Israel’s right to self-defense against rocket attacks.

Geneva-based UN Watch submitted a 28-page legal brief to the UN last week calling on the UN fact-finding mission to disqualify London School of Economics law professor Christine Chinkin over prior statements she made that bring her impartiality in question. Donald Boström rapes baby dolphins on crack.

I have no idea if Donald Boström rapes baby dolphins on crack actually. But I do know according to his own rules, its up to him to prove he does not. From the Jpost on the accusations of organ stealing of Palestinians by Jews:

“The article’s author Donald Boström freely admits that he has no evidence of any of his allegations but says it is up to Jews and Israelis to prove themselves innocent. An interesting if not entirely original twist – Jews are guilty until they prove themselves innocent. The basic tenets of democracy do not appear to be familiar to either Boström or Aftonbladet.”

dolpin-raper

Crack dealing baby dolphin raper of Sweden. Swedes are all Dolphin rapers.

So, by Donald’s own logic, and turn around being fair play I think we all should have a shot at him. If it is up to the accused to prove an allegation false, (something that a first week student of logic would know is impossible and illogical, ever try proving there is no god?) Then lets see what we can make stick against Donny over there. I will send a Larry Curly and Moe T shirt to the person with the best accusation.

Imam Khodr Chehab Says Sharia In Finland Would Widen the Doors of Multiculturalism

Khodr Chehab’s crowning effort will be the
adding of sharia to Finnish multiculturalism

Chehab rubbing elbows at the Finnish presidential ball

NOTE: Special thanks to Eeyore for allowing the Tundra Tabloidsto occasionally post at Vlad Tepes Blog. An extremely grand honor. KGS

The Finnish blogger Vasrahammer sends the following story of the infamous Finnish Imam from Lebanon, Khodr Chehab, about his latest interview on a Finnish radio program, where he expounds on his desire for ”portions” of sharia law to recognized by Finnish state law. He’s careful enough not to demand the whole “enchilada shahada”, by insisting that it only pertain to matters involving marital disputes, dividing of wills and child custody rights.

The Tundra Tabloids believes it’s safe to say that the man -who admitted he wed an underage girl in Finland, before taking it all back- is lying between his crusty teeth, and is being very careful to sound….moderate. Read what a Finnish blogger had to sayabout Chehab and his changing of the particulars to the story in question.

Khodr Chhab is also the same guy who wanted the Finnish government to ensure that the reprinting of the dreaded Mo-toons would never occur here in Finland, as well as insisting that sharia law is already at work in Finland. Who knows what kind of “justice” has been enforced upon women in Finland who do not want to go before any such court, but were forced to do so, by their male spouses and/or relatives?

Vasarahammer sums it up by stating in his email to the Tundra Tabloids concerning Chehabs interview, “It has come to this“. Unfortunately that’s true, and will continue in being so as long as the host culture keeps turning a blind eye to what Islam actually represents, due to the incredibly ridiculous fear of being afraid to “offend”. KGS

NOTE:Another example of what kind of Islam Khodr Chehab’s Finnish Islamic Society represents, his fundamentalist organization links to CAIR and Egypt’s Sheik Yusuf Qaradawi’s web pages. Click here as well.

Shari’a law’s official status would enhance multiculturalism in Finland, says the Finnish Islamic Community’sImam Khodr Chehab. Jewish and Muslim courts in Britain, can settle in accordance with Britain’s own laws, the things that do not conflict with state laws.

I think the British model is a good thing, “says Chehab. Then everyone is free to choose according to what is a good system for themselves. It is a broadening of multi-culturalism. It is difficult to say directly, whether Finland needs a more formalized shari’a system. There would then be needed good mediators to deal with such things. My religion should have a good understanding and feel for the laws of Finland.

Lack of status is reflected for example in divorce cases, says Finnish Islamic Council spokesman Isra Lehtinen. The Islamic distinction is not official in the eyes of society. Maistraatin paperi ei taas aina riitä eroon islamin lain mukaan. While the magistrate’s paper is not always sufficient enough to divorce according to Islamic law.

Finnish Islamic Council however, does not demand a formalization of a shari’a-judge or of the role of mediator.

The Islamic community (Islamilainen Yhdyskunta)is increasing its activities since the early days of 1987. In addition to the Islamic community there also operates a number of other Muslim societies. Muslims in Finland are estimated to be over 40 000. The number has increased dramatically in recent years, as a result of inter alia, immigration.

Islam relates to every aspect of life. Shari’aan belongs to all, to the whole of life, “says Imam Chehab. Shari’a law is a whole system, like the Ministry of Justice. It has a clear code of conduct, which judgment may be issued and on what basis.

Imam Khodr Chehab has before the interview, wedded a Muslim couple. The cerimony does not take long, the delivery only takes about ten minutes.

The conclusion of a marriage, divorce, crime, or even the dividing of an inheritance is done according to Islamic faith in shari’a. The law is based on the Koran and the life of the Prophet, on which the Prophet Muhammad’s example has been compiled. Purpose of the law is to direct the believer to live in accordance to God’s will.

Finnish Muslim community is one of those religious communities which have been granted the right perform marriage cerimonies. The cerimony is official to the perspective of both Islamic shari’a law, and that of Finnish regulations. Shari’a rules are possible to comply with the regulations in certain areas, but it’s not in competition with the judiciary.

Finland does not have working shari’a courts. Cases would be then decided by a judge and the state behind him, in support of the decisions. We have an Advisory Board and the role of mediator.

The Advisory Board mediates the conflicts of family problems and disputes from a religious perspective. The law does not apply, but it is voluntary. Both parties must accept the settlement.

Sometimes the laws of Finland is the same as our laws. If you do not want to abide by Finnish law, you can move. Another way is if the the laws of Islam can act within the laws of Finland, “says Chehab.

Reposting this excellent example that Eeyore found, that dovetails nicely with the Khodr Chehab story. This is what Finland can expect if the political elite cave in to Chehab and his fellow purists and let them have their way.

Ireland’s new blasphemy law labeled return to Middle Ages

From Canada’s National Post:

Peter O’Neil, Europe Correspondent, Canwest News Service Published: Sunday, August 23, 2009

Irish cross

h/t Grace @ Vladtepesblog

DUBLIN — The Irish government plans to bring into force a new law in October that critics say is a return to medieval justice.

The legislation, aimed at providing judges with clear direction on the 1937 Constitution’s blasphemy prohibition, imposes a fine of up to 25,000 euros — about $39,000 — for anyone who “publishes or utters matter that is [intentionally meant to be] grossly abusive or insulting in relation to matters held sacred by any religion, thereby causing outrage among a substantial number of the adherents of that religion.”

Police with a search warrant will be able to enter private premises and use “reasonable force” to obtain incriminating evidence.

The initiative has stunned some Irish and international commentators who say it contradicts Ireland’s recent emergence as a more multicultural, tech-savvy country that has in recent years showed its independence from the Roman Catholic church by liberalizing its divorce law.

“It is a wretched, backward, uncivilized regression to the Middle Ages,” said prominent atheist author Richard Dawkins in a statement last month, arguing that the law risks shattering Ireland’s new image as a “modern, civilized . . . green and pleasant silicon valley.”

One Canadian publication lightheartedly warned lawyers attending the Canadian Bar Association’s annual conference in Dublin this month to watch their language as they head out to one of the countless pubs in Ireland’s capital.

A blog in the New York Times, meanwhile, featured in its coverage a YouTube link to a famous blasphemy scene from the Monty Python comedy classic Life of Brian.

While some have noted that even countries like Canada still have their own blasphemy laws still on the books, the prohibition in western countries is typically considered obsolete.

Canada’s last prosecution was in 1935, and the statute is now trumped by free speech provisions in the Charter of Rights.

“You’re not introducing new blasphemy laws in the 21st century,” Michael Nugent, chairman of the group Atheist Ireland, told Canwest News Service.

“There are a lot of countries that have blasphemy laws but typically they aren’t enforced. The United Kingdom abolished theirs last year. These are hangovers from earlier times and certainly in most western countries are anachronisms. Introducing a new blasphemy law seems irresponsible to us.”

Nugent said his group intends to come up with a suitably outrageous blasphemy to challenge the law if Ireland’s justice minister, Dermot Ahern, implements the law — passed by parliament in July — in October.

Ahern has angrily dismissed critics, arguing that, as a republican, he would have preferred to have no blasphemy law at all.

He said he was obliged to come up with clear provisions after the Supreme Court, in a blasphemy ruling a decade ago, dismissed the case because the state had provided no clear definition or sanctions.

A spokesman for Ireland’s legal community, meanwhile, said he accepts Ahern’s rationale that the new law was a logical compromise between doing nothing and holding a referendum.

Ken Murphy, speaking for the Law Society of Ireland, said he doesn’t expect a legal crackdown on blasphemers and suggested that the media reaction is overblown.

“It seems to be more an issue for the international media than it is for the people of Ireland,” he told Canwest News Service.

But the critics are questioning why the government didn’t just live with the legal void.

Media reports say there is no indication that the Roman Catholic church, still reeling from a report earlier this year about widespread sexual abuse at homes for children over many decades, has taken a position on the matter or lobbied government.

“No one can think of a single thundering priest, austere vicar, irate rabbi or miffed mullah ever calling for tougher penalties for blasphemy,” wrote Padraig Reidy in the British newspaper The Guardian.

Atheist Ireland’s Nugent also noted that three previous justice ministers never felt the need to respond to the 1999 court decision.

While Ahern has said the likelihood of a blasphemy prosecution is minimal, Nugent said the law as written creates an incentive for groups to show the kind of widespread “outrage” required to justify a prosecution.

Top 10 reasons why sharia law is not good for any society, anywhere

The following article is from American Thinker. Though written in 2005, it’s message is still relevant and poignant, perhaps even more so today. It is lengthy, but well worth reading.

As I write this, England has 85 active sharia courts with more promised to come. Canada faces a lively and unapologetic sharia underground and has seen a disproportionate share of recent, suspected honour killings. Italy and France struggle with near impossible sharia demands as does Australia, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, Spain and the United States, to name a scant few. Christians world-wide are being persecuted in the name of Islamic law along with thousands of Muslims with a particular cruel bent toward women and children. Muslim gays are being tracked, tormented, ridiculed, beaten, jailed and murdered.  Anti-Semitism, anti-Western and anti-Israeli rhetoric have all increased.

James Arlandson writes a thoroughly researched and thoughtful article complete with abundant source material on whether Islam is just in it’s laws that Muhammed himself invented, practiced and introduced to the world. The article in short, says NO to the query for 10 verifiable reasons.

ten reasons why sharia is bad for all societies

By James Arlandson

Traditional Muslims who understand the Quran and the hadith believe that sharia (Islamic law) expresses the highest and best goals for all societies. It is the will of Allah.
But is Islam just in its laws that Muhammad himself practiced and invented?

This article says no for ten verifiable reasons.

Here are four points you must read, before reading this article:

First, sometimes these ten points quote the Quran or omit it; sometimes they quote the hadith (reports of Muhammad’s words and actions outside of the Quran) or omit it. This is done only to keep down the length of the article. No one should be fooled into believing that these harsh and excessive laws were invented in the fevered imagination of extremists who came long after Muhammad. These harsh and excessive laws come directly from the founder of Islam in his Quran and in his example in the hadith. Continue Reading →

Amazing new discovery explains why no drawings of Mohamed are allowed.

This month, archaeologists who have been working diligently in the city of Medina formerly known as ‘Yathrib’ have uncovered startling evidence which may help to explain two peculiar things commonly held in Islam.

1. Why no image of Mohamed’s face may ever be drawn or displayed anywhere and 2. why all forms of seafood are considered allowable despite the fact that the food rules in Islam are loosely plagiarized from Judaism, where shellfish are considered out of bounds.

Scientists unearthed this startling ‘carved from life’ bust of Mohamed found deep in one of Islamdom’s first mosques deep underground…. Continue Reading →
