ABOVE: Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale says the government is looking at whether to force social media companies to remove extremist content.

Canada is considering whether to force social media companies to remove hateful and extremist content online.

That comes after a spate of terrorist attacks in New Zealand, Quebec City, Pittsburgh and other places where right-wing extremists have used the internet to spread hate speech and incitements for others to commit similar violence targeting minorities who they wrongly assert are part of a broader effort to “replace” and subjugate white people.

 

“We will look at that very, very carefully,” said Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale when asked specifically if the government is considering legislation to force social media companies to remove hateful and extremist content.

“This has been a subject of discussion among ministers at the Five Eyes meetings and at the G7 meetings where ample discussion has been held on how we encourage the social media platforms to move quickly and efficiently to deal with toxic communications like this that incite violence and hatred and obviously do great damage to social cohesion.”

Leftists with power are as trustworthy as junkies at a pharmacy.

Avi Yemeni makes the important point that what is needed, is examples of where Tommy Robinson violated T&S and show a consistent set of rules that are equally enforced. But as Youtube and Google are ideologically driven and authoritarian in an informational sense, organizations, we will not see those. They reserve the right to selectively enforce their rules and they reserve the right to not tell us they do that.

Very Soviet of them.

I notice that they shadow banned Robinson’s site in such a way that if he makes videos to explain whatever it is he wishes to discuss it cannot be found by others in any way. Ok this  interesting to me, as our channel was (nearly all) translated and subtitled news clips, occasional political comedy that was aired on TV, and some interviews with highly reputable people and our channel was removed entirely.

Why this interests me, is that had they shadow banned us, it would make little difference to us. We uploaded to Youtube in order to embed the videos to this site, Gates of Vienna, and whatever other sites found the material important. So taking it down stopped that.

Tommy’s was left up but rendered equally useless as his wasn’t for embedding but reaching out directly to the public.

This is another data point that Google isn’t interested in its own stated rules, but making sure points of view that doesn’t sit well with their board, their corporate partners or government and NGO associates like the now fully disgraced, SPLC cannot be effective.

They are 100% wrong about Youtube. Youtube uses different strategies for the same exact purpose as Facebook.

The dilemma of private company is not as difficult as they present either. Ask anyone if privately owned utilities like water or electric companies who are the only supplier in an area should be allowed to charge triple and provide deliberately intermittent or inferior service to black people because they are a private company, and without stating so on their contracts. Problem of private companies discriminating against non-leftists solved.

YouTube terminated the channel Buds131, which was a YouTube channel from Donald W. “Don” Shipley that was dedicated to exposing the stolen valor of military servicemen. It had 232,806 subscribers at the time of termination.

 

According to a Google web cache archive, the channel was deleted shortly after February 17th, 2019. According to a post on Facebook, Shipley confirms that the channel was deleted on February 21st, 2019.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you all that Youtube, or a group of leftist activists, have been busily going through every one of the video on my channel and mass reporting them.

As a consequence my channel now has had multiple videos restricted in various ways, and highly, highly benign videos I might add.  Normally I hear from Youtube a few times a year. But I have had well over a dozen emails from them in the past 30 hours or so.

Clearly this is activism at work. The videos being censored or restricted etc. contain no violence or harsh language but just ideas the left does not approve of.

My suspicion is coordinated mass reporting and Youtube is siding with them, as their is literally hundreds of thousands of videos that would be way over the line for Youtube if these ones are, or are even close to it.

So for those that value the work of this team of translators and editors, I would recommend you download any and all videos you feel are important and upload them to your own channels, Facebook acct., LiveLeak or Bitchute channel or wherever you feel it would be seen. I doubt they are finished with us yet.

Combined with several stab wounds, often also behind. Concerning the suspect, the reports are very similar: young, strong man, southern type. Some of these knife murderers have already been arrested. These were predominantly “refugees” who did not reach Germany until the autumn of 2015. In the media and on the part of the politicians one found then also very quickly apology reasons: it concerns “individual cases”, the perpetrators are “traumatized”.

The demand to capture the knife attacks in their own statistics refused the old parties and their police officers. Raw data was not sufficiently available, was one of the flimsy justifications. But now the knife attacks are supposed to be recorded in a separate statistic – from 2022!

That’s too late, says Oliver Malchow, Federal Chairman of the Union of Police (GdP).

After watching this, for those who have not seen the fantastically important interview with Tom Quiggin, this might be a good time to watch. Between the two videos, it gives a pretty solid feel for where the formerly free world is at in its steep slide to totalitarian communism with a large slice of Islam.

Swedish Doctor Fired After Posting Anti-Migrant Comments on Social Media

A doctor in the Swedish county of Västernorrland has been fired after being accused of spreading “Nazi” messages on his social media accounts by his employers.

The doctor, who worked as a surgeon and has denied that he is a Nazi, has not been identified but was said to have been terminated from his position after the anti-migrant social media posts came to light, Swedish broadcaster SVT reports.

 

Only two examples of “Nazi” posts were presented by the Swedish state broadcaster including one which refers to a story from the Swedish alternative news website Friatider that reported on a Swedish politician calling for the European Union to “drive over” the objections of countries who refused to take in migrants.
