Iranian cleric threatens new holocaust

No doubt while denying the one that already happened. Sorry for no audio, I had a really rough time viewing this file. It seems that about 50% of people can see the original file from the MEMRI site no matter what their gear is, and about half the people cannot. So here is at least the video portion. Ill try and find it complete with the ranting in Farsi

Kenyan police clash with Muslim Protestors

I must say, the rest of the world could learn a few things about how to handle Muslims from the Kenyans. It appears they managed to get the better of the deal with a gang of rioting Muslims demanding that the Kenyan nation give in to all their demands. If only Western governments would allow regular people to defend thier own cultures, beliefs and societies then we could probably fix the problem of Islam in the west in a week. [I bolded the text below]

Kenyan security forces shot in the air and fired tear gas at hundreds of people protesting in the capital on Friday against the detention of Jamaican Muslim cleric Sheikh Abdullah al-Faisal.

The protesters, chanting “Allahu Akbar” (God is greatest) and some holding the flag of Somali rebel group al Shabaab, were blocked by police with dogs as they tried to march through the heart of Nairobi after prayers at the downtown mosque.

Some Kenyans, angry the attempted protest had taken place at all, joined forces with the security forces and began hurling stones at the marchers, squeezing them back towards the mosque.

“This is not an acceptable behaviour. The man who is supposed to be deported is not a Kenyan and his presence is not in the interest of Kenya these days,” said bystander Richard Odibo.

A helicopter clattered overhead and police also used water cannon to contain the clashes. Many protesters, some carrying pictures of Faisal on placards, were eventually corralled in the mosque but small groups continued hurling stones nearby.

A Reuters witness saw two policemen and four protesters injured by stones.

Faisal was visiting the east African nation for a preaching tour. Kenyan intelligence officials have said they fear his speeches could stoke radicalism in a country that has suffered two al Qaeda-linked attacks.

Faisal was deported from Britain in 2007 for preaching racial hatred and urging his audiences to kill Jews, Hindus and Westerners. He was arrested in Kenya on Dec. 31.

Kenya’s immigration minister Otieno Kajwang has declared Faisal a prohibited immigrant. Attempts by Kenya to deport him failed last week because Nigeria refused to give him a transit visa to Gambia.

Police sources told Reuters Faisal was being held at Nairobi’s international airport. Another source said the government would hold him in custody until he could be deported straight to Jamaica.

“One person, a Jamaican, how can he make the whole country shut down? One person, how come no one in Jamaica is defending him,” said a man in a group that charged the Muslim protesters.

“These demonstrators, they can go back home to Somalia if they want to,” he told Reuters Television.
Kenya hosts some 300,000 Somali refugees in refugee camps and there is a significant Somali community in Nairobi. There have been reports of rebel supporters recruiting fighters and young suicide bombers from the diaspora within Kenya.

Al Shabaab, a rebel group that Washington accuses of links to al Qaeda, is battling to overthrow the Somali government and impose their own hardline version of sharia law.

Honour killings, Finland and elsewhere.

Here is a Vladtepesblog and Tundra Tabloids original. The heavy lifting was Tundra who translated this video, and VTB titled and edited it. Here is a rather excellent example of the train wreck that occurs when political correctness meets Islam. Despite the overwhelming evidence this 12 minute documentary shows about Islamic violence and dominance of women, Finnish state TV felt the need to have 2 minutes of propaganda about how Islam does not condone violence and especially against women.

Here at Vlad we decided to take that bit out and instead, put in a few verses from Koran and Hadith about women that explain the actual facts rather better.

UAE Sheikh acquitted of torture. Video below.

From this site here:

Sheikh Issa bin Zayed al-Nahayan, the brother of UAE president and Abu Dhabi emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahayan, has been acquitted of charges of torture, his lawyer has said.

An Emirati court on Sunday acquitted Shiekh Issa despite a video tape of the 2004 incident showing him torturing an Afghan man with whips, electric cattle prods and wooden planks with protruding nails.

“The court acquitted Sheikh Issa after establishing he was not responsible,” for the torture, lawyer Habib al-Mulla said on Sunday.

“The court accepted our defence that the Sheikh was under the influence of drugs [medicine] that left him unaware of his actions,” al-Mulla said.

Bassam and Ghassan Nabulsi, former business partners of Sheikh Issa, who filmed and kept the video tape, were sentenced in absentia to five years each in prison.

The video tape was handed to the ABC News channel last April.

Sheikh Issa was charged with rape, endangering a life and causing bodily harm, the Gulf National newspaper reported.

The torture victim was identified by Nabulsi as an Afghan grain dealer, Mohammed Shah Poor, who the sheikh accused of short changing him on a grain delivery to his royal ranch on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi.

Al-Mulla said that Sheikh Issa, who has been in detention for the past seven months, would be released following the acquittal.

‘Blackmail’

Sheikh Issa’s lawyer said that he was on a high amount of medication and that he was also drugged by the Nabulsi brothers.

He told the court they had orchestrated the incident and filmed it to use as blackmail, the National reported.

A forensic medicine expert told the court in the previous hearing that the medication Sheikh Issa was on could “cause anger, suicide, violence, depression and loss of memory”.

Six other defendants faced charges for the 2004 incident, which took place in the oasis city of Al Ain.

Two of them were ordered to pay a “temporary compensation” of 10,000 dirhams ($2,724) to the Afghan, who can file a new lawsuit to claim full compensation, the lawyer added.

Three others employed at the farm where the torture took place were sentenced to between one and three years in jail. A guard at the farm was acquitted.

Savage beating

The tape shows Sheikh Issa viciously beating a worker in an empty stretch of the desert.

A man in a UAE police uniform is seen on the tape tying the victim’s arms and legs, and later holding him down as the Sheikh pours salt on the man’s wounds and then drives over him with his Mercedes SUV.

In a statement to ABC News in April, the UAE ministry of the interior said it had reviewed the tape and acknowledged the involvement of Sheikh Issa.

“The incidents depicted in the video tapes were not part of a pattern of behaviour,” the interior ministry’s statement said.

The government statement said its review found “all rules, policies and procedures were followed correctly by the police department”.

Nabulsi is now suing the sheikh in federal court in Houston, Texas, where he resides, alleging he also was tortured by UAE police when he refused to turn over the tape to the sheikh following their falling out.

“They were my security, really, to make my case that this man is capable of doing what I say he can do,” Nabulsi said in an ABC interview in April.

Nabulsi said Sheikh Issa ordered the recording of the tape because he liked to watch the torture sessions later in his royal palace.

Im still trying to cope with the multiple ramifications of this. Do the British have computers that check every single email anyone writes for words that rhyme with words that might be derogatory?

A wealthy businessman was arrested at home in front of his wife and young son over an email which council officials deemed ‘offensive’ to gipsies – but which he had not even written.

The email, concerning a planning appeal by a gipsy, included the phrase: ‘It’s the ‘do as you likey’ attitude that I am against.’

Council staff believed the email was offensive because ‘likey’ rhymes with the derogatory term ‘pikey’.

The 45-year-old IT boss was held in a police cell for four hours until it was established he had nothing to do with the email, which had been sent by one of his then workers, Paul Osmond.

But police had taken his DNA and later confirmed they would be holding it indefinitely.

The businessman, who has asked not to be named, was also fingerprinted in the police investigation estimated to have cost taxpayers up to £12,000.

He said two uniformed officers came to his house on a Sunday afternoon and said he would be handcuffed if he did not accompany them to the police station.

His computer and other internet equipment were also seized. Continue Reading →

Man recalls vicious attack for court

22-year-old stabbed, hit with shovel after aiding chased rink supervisor

By Andrew Seymour, The Ottawa Citizen, January 7, 2010

A 22-year-old man described in court how he was stabbed, hit in the face with a shovel and had his two front teeth knocked out while coming to the aid of volunteer rink supervisor who was savagely attacked after telling a group of youths to stop drinking and smoking in a change hut.

Stephen Lee testified he was playing hockey with two friends on the outdoor rink at Pauline Vanier Park at 1015 Harkness Ave. near Walkley Road and Wexford Way on Feb. 10 when he first heard 43-year-old Doug Beardshaw’s cries for help.

“He was running toward us and he was screaming for his life,” said Lee, describing how he saw Beardshaw running away from the skate shack with several young males chasing him.

“It was just my instinct to run over and help this guy out,” said Lee, who made his way with one of his friends toward the change hut with his skates still on.

Lee said he told the young males to leave when one of the males struck him across the face with a shovel, shattering the orbital bone around his eye in three places and leaving him with a cut that would require a dozen stitches to close.

Falling to his knees, Lee said four males started to punch, kick and knee him. Lee said he ran his tongue across the front of his mouth and discovered his two front teeth missing and blood streaming down his face.

“All the strikes came from behind me,” said Lee, describing how he believed he was being not only punched and kicked but also hit with a shovel or his hockey stick. Lee said he didn’t realize he was stabbed until a paramedic found a puncture wound in his left thigh.

His left eye swollen shut, Lee said he glanced back with his right eye at who was attacking him before desperately trying to crawl away while covering the back of his head with his hockey gloves. He recognized some of the males as part of a group that had been acting “suspiciously” in the change hut when he first arrived at the rink. The attack ended when one of Lee’s friends came to his aid.

Lee said he has since required $8,000 worth of dental work since the attack.

Lee was testifying during the aggravated assault trial of two 17-year-old males. A third teen has already pleaded guilty to the lesser offence of assault causing bodily harm.

None of the three can be identified due to provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Three adults — Ali Ismail Ali, 19, and Said Mohammed Muddei, and Imed Yazit both 18 — are scheduled to stand trial later this year.

Court has heard that Beardshaw was also attacked by as many as eight young males, first being hit in the back with a beer bottle inside the skate hut before being ambushed a second time outside.

Once outside, Beardshaw said he was struck on the back of the head with a full beer bottle before being threatened by a tall male who claimed to have a knife.

Beardshaw was then attacked again, this time by a young male who repeatedly struck him in the head with a hard object that was concealed within a glove or mitt.

The attack was so severe that surgeons were forced to remove part of Beardshaw’s skull and he suffered serious brain damage because of the beating.

Malaysian churches fire-bombed ahead of demonstrations

BBCNEWS… Three churches have been attacked in Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur, ahead of planned protests by Muslim groups.

The administrative offices of one church were destroyed by a firebomb attack and one of the other two churches attacked was slightly damaged.

Some Muslim groups are angry at a court decision allowing non-Muslims to use the word Allah to refer to God.

The government relies on the Malay Muslim vote, and will let Muslims march from mosques to churches on Friday.

Prime Minister Najib Razak condemned the church attacks, saying such actions would “destroy our country’s harmony”.

“The government will take whatever steps it can to prevent such acts,” he said.

Divided faiths

The controversy stems from a ban on a Catholic newspaper, The Herald, using the word Allah.

The Kuala Lumpur High Court struck down the three-year old ban on use of the word Allah – a ruling now the target of planned demonstrations.

Some major Muslim organisations, including the Islamic political party, PAS, have agreed with the court, saying other Abrahamic religions – Christinaity and Judiasm – may use the word Allah.

But some vocal groups, including the Muslim Youth Movement, Abim, have cast the use of the word Allah as a surreptitious effort on the part of Christians to try to seduce Muslims away from Islam.

The argument has continued in the media and the courts for months but had not become violent – until assailants on motorbikes were seen smashing the windows of the Metro Tabernacle Church, a Protestant church in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

The ground floor office of the three-storey church was destroyed in a blaze a little after midnight, said Kevin Ang, a church spokesman.

Kuala Lumpur police Chief Mohamad Sabtu Osman said police had found a wrench, an empty petrol tin and two scorched motorbikes at the scene.

Separately, Molotov cocktails were thrown into the compounds of two other churches before dawn, causing minor damage in one and none in the other, church officials said.

The police chief has also urged protesters not to join Friday’s planned demonstrations.

The government has appealed against the court verdict and the High Court has suspended the decision’s implementation until the appeal is heard.

About 60% of Malaysians are Malay Muslims alongside significant Chinese and Indian minorities.

Prime Minister Najib has spoken recently of a “one Malaysia” concept – something analysts now say is under severe challenge.

Christmas in Paris. Muslims ‘preying’ for five blocks.

Below are two videos from the people who bring us all the videos of the barber section of paris, some of which, Vladtepes has subtitled and posted here from French.
What you see below the videos is a machine translation from French, but please go to the original site and see the photos and explanations of what you are seeing here. This is very clearly the illegal establishment of Islamic primacy here in Paris and has little to do with any sort of quaint cultural ritual you may see in a China Town in any large city. This, is war. The French, are losing.

A mass of Muslim occupation of the whole pavement of the Boulevard Barbès, and not hesitating to unroll their mats on the same floor of the Rue de la Goutte-d’Or, blocking all traffic loads, in total disregard for their drivers:

For the umpteenth time, we renew our appeal: how long the French authorities leave they take before to intervene and stop these illegal methods? Combien de rues seront occupées, confisquées, conquises par les musulmans, en plein Paris, avant que les autorités françaises ne se décident enfin à agir ? Source How many streets are occupied, confiscated, conquered by Muslims in the heart of Paris before the French authorities do finally decide to act?

I do have to wonder about this lone Klansman from the second video though….

Seven Egyptian Christians Sentenced to Prison

H/T Gates of Vienna: From Assyrian News

Egypt (AINA) — Seven Coptic Christians, including two priests, were sentenced to prison for allegedly being involved in a brawl in connection with a dispute over the purchase of a property by the Coptic Orthodox Bishopric of Delga and Deir Mawas, 270 KM from Cairo. The Misdemeanor Court in Mallawi upheld a verdict passed by the First Instance Court in April, 2007. The Rev. Maximos Talat and Rev. Bolah Nassif – priest of St. George’s Church were sentence to one week in prison and fined 200 Egyptian Pounds, “based on claims made by the ‘aggressors’ and without any legal basis,” according to the their lawyer, Amgad Lamei.

In 2007 an adjacent property was legally acquired by the Bishopric from the Selim family. The dispute ensued after another neighbor, the Shaker family, said they have “right of first refusal” as they are cousins of the Selims, and subsequently occupied the property. The Bishopric obtained an eviction order from the Attorney General.

Attorney Amgad Lamei, who is also sentenced to prison, told Freecopts that during the execution of the eviction order on 4/15/2007, the Shaker family assaulted the party accompanying the two priests, in the presence of the police. “When I saw the brawl, I left the place with the priests and went to the police station to file a report about the incident,” said Mr. Lamei. “We went at 14:00 to report the matter to the police, and found out at 17:00 that we had been accused.” He expressed his surprise and disappointment at the verdict. He plans to take case to the Court of Cassation, but that will not stop the prison sentence.

There has been an escalation in the imprisonment of clergy. In October 2008 an Egyptian court sentenced Coptic priest Father Mettaos Wahba to five years hard labor. He was falsely accused of aiding a young Muslim woman in getting an ID card that had falsely indicated her religion as Christian, thus enabling her to marry a Christian man and flee Egypt.
