Once again, my youtube channel is in danger of being closed.

This morning, I got a notice from youtube saying that I had two strikes on my account and one more and they will close it down. This I found interesting as I had no idea of the first two strikes at all. Previous strikes I had appealed and won. Youtube agreed with my arguments and dropped the issues even though they did not make the videos live again.

This morning I had the distinct sense that any minute my channel will be closed by youtube and nearly three years of very hard work and countless hours, more than full time certainly, would go down the drain. I still have that feeling because when I checked my channel after receiving an official notice about my account status, I checked my account and it seemed fine. No strikes. Which means no appeal process. My sense of alarm grew 3 fold when I received a link to the video I have posted below, as the claims against my channel seem bogus to me as well.

So I would ask my readers to please do the following.

Any videos you like, or feel are important on my youtube channel, copy and paste the URL for them and enter them in the field over at http://keep-tube.com/ then wait a few seconds to a minute and scroll down a little bit. A list of options for various qualities should appear.

Select the best one, usually .mp4 and occasionally the odd one may be high def, and click it. This should download it to your own machine. If you have your own youtube channel, please upload. If not, upload it wherever you can, or even shrink it down and email it. Easy if you have a Mac with imovie for example. It does that in a single click. Or just hang on to it and give or show it to others if it is something you feel has importance.

Report: N. Korea digging tunnels for likely nuclear-test

SEOUL — North Korea is digging tunnels at a site where it has launched two nuclear tests, suggesting it is preparing a third, the South’s Yonhap news agency said on Sunday, a development which would trigger concern across the region.

Tensions rose on the divided peninsula when 46 sailors were killed in an attack in March on a South Korean naval vessel. North Korea, which has denied responsibility, shelled the southern island of Yeonpyeong in November, killing four people and sparking fears of possible all-out war.

The North was excavating several tunnels before picking the most suitable, Yonhap said, citing an unnamed South Korean government source.

“South Korean and U.S. intelligence authorities have spotted North Korea building several other underground mines at Punggye-ri where it had run two nuclear tests,” the unidentified source was quoted as saying.

“It is judged to be clear evidence of preparing for a third nuclear test.”

Military talks broke down between the two sides this month, dealing a setback to the resumption of six-party aid-for-disarmament negotiations, which North Korea walked out of over two years ago.

While the two sides are not talking, the risk of what both sides calls a “provocation” increases. Analysts have said acts of brinkmanship by the North could include military drills or attack, or the testing of a missile or nuclear device. Continue Reading →

George W. Bush’s Liberal Legacy

From Der Spiegel:

A Commentary by Jan Fleischhauer

Former U.S. President George W. Bush taken at his book signing in December 2010.

Former U.S. President George W. Bush taken at his book signing in December 2010.

Suddenly it seems everyone knew all along that President Mubarak was a villain and the US, who supported him until recently, was even worse. However it was actually former President George W. Bush who always believed in the democratization of the Muslim world and was broadly ridiculed by the Left for his convictions.

The West, it seems, is guilty. It is good to get that cleared up. Wherever there is an outpouring of public rage, as is happening now in the Arab world, censure must fall on America, the great Satan. The US is always in the dock. When indignation is required, one simply cannot go wrong by blaming the US. And Israel too of course, but only as a follow-up by those in enlightened circles who like to take history into consideration.

The current accusation is that the US supported the corrupt regime in Egypt and thus betrayed its values.

Aside from the fact that the Germans never have to resort to abandoning their principles because they do not play any significant role in foreign affairs, it must be said that this is, unfortunately, the way realpolitik operates. Whoever represents the interests of the free world cannot be too choosy about his allies or he could end up alone.

The free world has fewer friends outside Europe than it would care to admit. It would obviously be desirable to work exclusively with governments who share our democratic beliefs. That would only leave Israel in the region that we are currently watching with such fascination, as only Israel guarantees full, Western human rights to its citizens, including women, homosexuals and dissidents. But somehow that would also not be right.

ALL OF FRANCE’S PANDERING TO THE FAKESTINIANS DOESN’T PAY OFF: FM PELTED WITH SHOES AND EGGS

The French foreign minister has been mobbed by Palestinian protesters

A crowd of Palestinian protesters attacked the car of French Foreign Minister, Michele Alliot-Marie, with shoes and eggs as she toured through the Gaza Strip.

Dozens of protesters, relatives of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons, were waiting for French foreign minister Alliot-Marie as she crossed from Israel into Gaza through the Erez Crossing, jumping on her vehicle.

Palestinians were protesting because they mistakenly believed she had called the capture of an Israeli soldier Gilad Schalit a “war crime”.

The remark had actually been made by the soldier’s father, Noam Schalit, when he met Michele Alliot-Marie a day earlier.

Schalit, an Israeli-French dual national, was captured in a 2006 cross-border raid by militants with ties to Hamas. France has repeatedly called for his release.

Iran Placing Medium-Range Missiles in Venezuela; Can Reach the U.S.

From The Hudson Institute:

http://www.hudson-ny.org/1714/iran-missiles-in-venezuela

Iran is planning to place medium-range missiles on Venezuelan soil, based on western information sources[1], according to an article in the German daily, Die Welt, of November 25, 2010. According to the article, an agreement between the two countries was signed during the last visit o Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to Tehran on October19, 2010. The previously undisclosed contract provides for the establishment of a jointly operated military base in Venezuela, and the joint development of ground-to-ground missiles.

At a moment when NATO members found an agreement, in the recent Lisbon summit (19-20 November 2010), to develop a Missile Defence capability to protect NATO’s populations and territories in Europe against ballistic missile attacks from the East (namely, Iran), Iran’s counter-move consists in establishing a strategic base in the South American continent – in the United States’s soft underbelly.

According to Die Welt, Venezuela has agreed to allow Iran to establish a military base manned by Iranian missile officers, soldiers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Venezuelan missile officers. In addition, Iran has given permission for the missiles to be used in case of an “emergency”. In return, the agreement states that Venezuela can use these facilities for “national needs” – radically increasing the threat to neighbors like Colombia. The German daily claims that according to the agreement, Iranian Shahab 3 (range 1300-1500 km), Scud-B (285-330 km) and Scud-C (300, 500 and 700 km) will be deployed in the proposed base. It says that Iran also pledged to help Venezuela in rocket technology expertise, including intensive training of officers

Venezuela has also become the country through which Iran intends to bypass UN sanctions. Following a new round of UN sanctions against the Islamic Republic, for example, Russia decided not to sell five battalions of S-300PMU-1 air defence systems to Iran. These weapons, along with a number of other weapons, were part of a deal, signed in 2007, worth $800 million. Now that these weapons cannot be delivered to Iran, Russia is looking for new customers; according to the Russian press agency Novosti[2], it found one: Venezuela.

Seems the PM of Turkey is some pissed at the US over Wikileak material

Thanks to the efforts of some very kind people nearby, I managed to get this highly amusing video translated of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an desperately attempting to threaten his way out of the allegations against him exposed by wikileaks.

Below the video, some details from Hurrietdaily

In a harshly worded response to diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an said Wednesday that he would file legal action again U.S. envoys he accused of making false claims against him.

Speaking during a municipal ceremony in Ankara, Erdo?an called on the U.S. administration to take action to discipline the diplomats who “slandered” him in the leaked State Department documents.

“This is the United States’ problem, not ours… Those who have slandered us will be crushed under these claims, will be finished and will disappear,” the prime minister said in his first comprehensive comments about the WikiLeaks release.

“My friends are working [to take action] against these diplomats in terms of national and international law. We will continue this process there. Thereafter, they [the diplomats] have to think [about the consequences],” Erdo?an said. “We have discussed these issues with the U.S. administration. They have extended their apologies, but it’s not enough. They have to take all necessary measures against these diplomats.” Continue Reading →

OREGAN POLICE SEARCH HOME NEAR TORCHED MOSQUE…….

US police search home near burned Islamic centre

CA.News: CORVALLIS, Ore. – Police have searched a home near the Islamic centre in Oregon, that was torched two days after a Somalia-born teenager was arrested in a plot to kill thousands at a Portland Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Court documents say 24-year-old Cody Crawford and his mother live in the home 200 feet (60 metres) from the Salman Alfarisi Islamic Center. The search was conducted Monday, a day after someone tried to burn the place of worship.

The FBI says no one has been arrested.

Court documents show Crawford’s arrest record includes accusations of criminal mischief, assault and spitting food at a deputy while in jail.

The FBI has been looking into whether the arson was in retaliation for the alleged bomb plot at Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square last month. The suspect in that case sometimes worshipped at the centre.

Brainwashing 101

I am posting this actually in response to a comment on Vlad’s youtube channel about the video of the kid who was told to take the US flag off of his bicycle as it was ‘racist’ and that of course, was within the USA.

A fellow youtuber, and a rather excellent one, MartinJWillett posted:

I can understand if he was asked? to remove a foreign flag, but his own country’s flag? That is absurd. If children are offended by the flag of America they should ask their parents to pack up go somewhere else. It doesn’t matter if the flag was being flown by a racist jerk deliberately to be offensive, nobody has the right to expect people not to fly the flag of their own country in their own country.

So for him, and all who are surprised, I am posting this film. Thanks to FOOMF for finding it.
