I am posting this actually in response to a comment on Vlad’s youtube channel about the video of the kid who was told to take the US flag off of his bicycle as it was ‘racist’ and that of course, was within the USA.
A fellow youtuber, and a rather excellent one, MartinJWillett posted:
I can understand if he was asked? to remove a foreign flag, but his own country’s flag? That is absurd. If children are offended by the flag of America they should ask their parents to pack up go somewhere else. It doesn’t matter if the flag was being flown by a racist jerk deliberately to be offensive, nobody has the right to expect people not to fly the flag of their own country in their own country.
So for him, and all who are surprised, I am posting this film. Thanks to FOOMF for finding it.
If it is racist to fly one’s own country’s flag, then every veteran, every city hall and everyone who flies it is racist.
This is not quite the bottom of the barrel for the west, since each time we see how disrespectful people are these days to our collective western heritage, it only seems to get worse.
If people are offended by their own country’s flag, force them to leave and their freedom be damned, since they obviously don’t value it.
If they don’t feel pride in what their ancestors have done, then they should pack up and leave.
Doing anything else places us into the hands of the enemy, which seems to be two-pronged today; political correctness gone wrong and Islam.
If I were in this community, I would blanket my lawn with flags, as well as my entire house, to show the vets how proud I am of their efforts to stop the fascists/Islamists from taking over the western world over the past 1,300 years.
Political correctness and multiculturalism be damned. I am a citizen of the western world whose European roots go far deeper than anything that Islam offers. It goes, in effect, back to the days of ancient Greece, where democracy was born. And in the more than 1,000 year fight against Islam and tyranny on all fronts.
May the west destroy Islam once and for all.
Coincidentally, one of my sons is completing a mandatory college course titled “Social Problems in Today’s World” . Today, he had to present an oral argument in front of his class explaining the difference between Melting Pot Theory and “Anglo Conformity Theory”, providing an example. His instructor is a British ex-pat who has been in the US for over a decade.
In his argument he stated “not all cultures were equal, providing the examples of Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Sudan & Somalia as prime examples of cultures who have become human and civil right disasters that are entirely incompatible with Western culture. His instructor grading his paper noted : “or maybe the other way around” to this specific point.
I’d personally pay for this instructor’s repatriation or, better yet, deportation to one of the countries listed above so he could live his theory for the rest of his life.
Enough people raised enough hell with the school that the decision has been canceled but the message was given to the kids not to be patriotic. In a reply on the Moslems burning the poppy I said that in my opinion we are in the opening decades of a new Dark Age. This is one of the reasons I think that, during Dark Ages you are suppose to be loyal to some ideology or religion before you are loyal to your country. Also the supposed victims like to take over the nations of the supposed oppressors, what we are going through right now is to determine if the Dark Age is a long one or a short one. If the West remains free and stops being taught to loath itself it will be a short one, if the West loses countries and the self loathing continues it will be a long one.
