Family accused of murder, conspiracy in deaths of four relatives

Pre-trial motions start Tuesday in the case of members of a Montreal family accused of murder and conspiracy in the deaths of four female relatives in June 2009 in Kingston, Ont.

Mohammad Shafia, 57, his wife Tooba Mohammad Yahya, 40, and their son Hamed, 19, face four counts each of first-degree murder and four counts of conspiracy.

They are accused of killing three members of their family, teenage sisters, and Shafia’s first wife.

The bodies of sisters Zainab, 19, Sahari, 17, and Geeti, 13, along with Rona Amir Mohammad, 50, were found in a submerged car near the Kingston Mills Locks June 30, 2009.

The mother, father and son were arrested in Montreal on July 22, 2009. They have been in custody since.

The family is of Afghan origin, but had lived in Dubai for many years before moving to Montreal in 2007.

Islamic schools have introduced uniform policies which force girls to wear the burka or a full headscarf and veil known as the niqab.

Moderate followers of Islam said yesterday that enforcement of the veil was a “dangerous precedent” and that children attending such schools were being “brainwashed”.

The Sunday Telegraph has established that three UK institutions have introduced a compulsory veil policy when girls are walking to or from school. They are:

  • Madani Girls’ School in east London;
  • Jamea Al Kauthar in Lancaster;
  • Jameah Girls’ Academy in Leicester.

On September 15, 2010 the Center for Security Policy presented its Team B II Report, Shariah: The Threat to America, to Congressmen Trent Franks and Pete Hoekstra on Capitol Hill. ISTANBUL — Turkey’s Islamic-rooted government has condemned an attack allegedly by conservative Muslims on people drinking cocktails outside an Istanbul art gallery, calling for understanding and respect for one another’s way of life in this largely Muslim but secular country.

Culture Minister Ertugrul Gunay said Thursday his government will seek the heaviest punishment for the culprits who beat and slightly injured five guests drinking in the street outside the gallery in Istanbul’s Tophane district on Tuesday evening. Alcohol is forbidden in Islam.

Gunay called on the gallery to the respect family values of the neighbourhood while also urging respect for different lifestyles and their right to be and work in that area.

Turkey is aspiring to become the first Muslim member of the European Union.

it should be noted that as more and more Muslims achieve positions of authority in Western nations, we will, and in fact are, seeing more and more applications of sharia law by authority as we did with the USD $10,000 reward offered by a Muslim police chief and many many more examples such as Muslim police stopping people from burning korans in England, a perfectly legal thing to do, while allowing Muslims to burn US and UK flags and call for the destruction of the British state in favour of the umma.

This is actually happening, not a prediction for the future, except the frequency and degree of Islamic law being applied in our nations will and is going up.

A gang of men have been arrested after filming themselves burning a copy of the Koran on the anniversary of 9/11 – and posting it on YouTube.

Six suspects were seized after allegedly setting fire to the Muslim holy book in the backyard of a pub.

The men, who hid their faces, then posted the video of the burning on the popular website.

In the film the gang are seen gathered round a copy of the Koran in the backyard of The Bugle pub in Leam Lane, Felling, Gateshead.

Appearing with what seems to be tea towels wrapped around their heads, the men show the holy book to the camera before dousing it with fuel from a red can and lighting it.

One man in a grey Adidas tracksuit and white trainers, who has a blue cloth wrapped around his head makes a series of obscene gestures towards the book as it burns.

Laughing, the track-suited gang shouts ‘This is for the boys in Afghanistan.  September 11, international burn a Koran day, for all the people of 9/11.

‘This is how we do it in Gateshead, right.’

One man then attempts to add more fuel, but instead sets the plastic petrol can on fire.

He then kicks the book across the yard, leaving a trail of flames which he is forced to hastily stamp out.

Arabs Harass Female ‘Peace’ Activists; Left Silences Victims

Vlad has covered this issue before where naive leftist activists went to protest Israel on behalf of Palestinians, who were often raped by the various Palestinians they are there to represent, and then to add insult to injury, are told by their own team leaders to ‘take one for the team’. Now it appears that the situation is getting worse, and some are forced into being ‘wives’ for their Palestinian hosts against their will. Two activists have exposed a disturbing phenomenon that they say is an open secret within the “peace camp”: female “peace” activists are routinely harassed and raped by the Arabs of Judea and Samaria with whom they have come to identify. They say the phenomenon has gotten worse lately and that many foreign women end up as wives of local Arabs against their will, but cannot escape their new homes.

Roni Aloni Sedovnik, a feminist activist, penned an article in News1 – an independent website run by respected investigative reporter Yoav Yitzchak – under the heading “The Left’s Betrayal of Female Peace Activists Who were Sexually Assaulted.”

“A nauseous atrocity has been going on for a long time behind the scenes at the leftists’ demonstration at Bil’in, Naalin and Sheikh Jarrah [Shimon HaTzaddik],” she writes. “A dark secret that threatens to smash the basic ideological values upon which the demand to end the occupation of the Territories rests.”

It turns out, she explains, that when female peace activists from Israel and abroad come out to Judea and Samaria and demonstrate against the Israeli “occupation,” they are assaulted sexually by the Arab men whom they have come to help. These are not isolated incidents, Aloni-Sedovnik stresses. Rather, this is an “ongoing and widespread” phenomenon that includes verbal and physical abuse. Christians tried for breaking Ramadan fast

Two Algerian Christians have been tried for breaking Ramadan fasting rules, with hundreds of people protesting outside the courtroom against judicial authorities.

Hocine Hocini, 44, and Salem Fellak, 34, were arrested on August 13 on the building site where they worked in the northern region of Kabylie after they were spotted eating lunch.

The pair admit to eating but insist it happened in a discreet place.

Muslims are not allowed to eat during daylight hours during the Ramadan holy month.

In Algeria breaking the fast can be punished with three months in jail.

“I am optimistic,” Hocini, a Protestant with a one-month-old daughter, said as he left the courtroom in Ain el Hammam after the hearing.

Frankly, this is something that most readers of Vlad will already have some idea about, if not know as much as is here in this excellent informative and well produced video by the Christian Broadcast Network. Erick stakelbeck does his usual thorough job of investigation and explanation and it begs the question. Why is a small Christian media outfit doing the job the large media giants simply will not do, FOX not withstanding.

My guess is, a combination of editorial cowardice, and editorial disbelief that these issues are as presented here, as well as fear of a far left government in the US shutting down any media that might present Islam in a bad light much as it appears to be doing to the CIA and FBI.

In any case, please enjoy this expose on the Islamic Brotherhood in the US and in general, and spread the link to all who need to know this.

But as it is happening now, and as nothing is being done about it, and as this is maybe the most awful thing I have read in quite some time, I will ask you to click over to the original story as frankly, I wouldn’t believe it myself unless I did. The world is becoming a sharia state much faster than expected. At least by me. I really think as many of us as humanly possible should get korans and burn them. There is only one way to preserve freedoms and that is use them. If we allow every thug to determine what our limits are, we will be slaves in no time at all.

In a disturbing development, Northumbria Police in Gateshead last week arrested two men after they watched and shared a video on Facebook of a man burning the Koran in the US during the recent 9/11 commemoration at Ground Zero in New York.

The men were drinking in the Bugle pub, Leam Lane, Gateshead, when they were arrested after watching and sharing the videos.

Around 30 people staged a protest outside Gateshead police station on Wednesday evening, the 15th of September, following the arrests.

The group stood outside the doors to the police station with an England flag for about three hours watched by a contingent of uniformed officers.The protesters had gathered at around 8pm after the two men were arrested earlier in the day on ‘suspicion of inciting racial hatred’.

The protest continued until around 11pm when the two arrested men were bailed pending further enquiries.

UK police stop people from burning a page of Koran while American and UK flags burn all around

The police in England now seem to be enforcing sharia law, even though there is no act of legislation that makes burning a page of Koran illegal in any way. At the very very best, this is submission to violent foreign authority and a fifth column. At worst, Bat Ye’or is correct and this is more evidence of collusion to make Britain Islamic.
