This is a 90 second video I was sent from youtube, originally longer, but I trimmed the start which is from a distance and you can’t make out anything, and the end where you see a police car turning around and leaving with a, presumably, Muslim woman in the back. Really there is nothing that can be confirmed about the events in this video. It could be a man with a bag on his head who just robbed a bank. But it does seem at first blush that the Paris police are doing their jobs and enforcing the new burka-ban. This video was apparently taken by another Muslim, who stridently objects to what is taking place here.

Belgian ban on full veils comes into force
MPs voted to ban veils on the grounds of securityRelated Stories
A law has come into force in Belgium banning women from wearing the full Islamic veil in public.
The country is the second European Union nation after France to enforce such a ban. Offenders face a fine of 137.5 euros (£121; $197) and up to seven days in jail.
Two women who wear full veils launched an immediate court challenge, saying the law is discriminatory.
France, home to Europe’s biggest Muslim population, enforced its ban in April.
Belgium’s law bans any clothing that obscures the identity of the wearer in places like parks and on the street. Continue Reading →
Should the burqa be allowed in NZ society?
Seems the burka debate has reached pretty much everywhere.
From The New Zealand Herald
A Muslim women’s group is expected to tell a public forum tonight that the burqa is not a requirement in Islam and it is “an affront to human dignity” for women to be forced to wear it.
This month, a Saudi Arabian student was left crying on an Auckland street when a bus driver refused to let her board because she was wearing a Muslim veil, which she refused to remove.
This brought a call from Prime Minister John Key for New Zealanders to respect the beliefs of others, and for women not to be discriminated against because they wear the burqa.

Who’s Afraid of the KKK?
Sergio Redegalli is someone we’ve met before.
His ‘Say No To Burkas’ mural provides endless cause for griping among the lefties where he lives, and he has had to repaint it dozens of times so far.
The definition of insanity is, of course, doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
In Sergio’s case, those who object to his painting continue to deface it, and he – in defiance of them – simply repaints it.
They do the same thing, and get the same results.
With a few little changes now and then.
How about a black KKK outfit? Will that offend people? It shouldn’t. After all, it’s a complete body covering in black.
It’s the way someone may wish to present to the world, so who could possibly object?
I guess we’ll see on this one.
Stay tuned….

Police in NSW have power to remove face veils
It appears that the little issue with the psycho-tard who accused the cop of racism for attempting to remove her veil, which he didn’t actually do, has borne bitter fruit for the Muslims of Oz.

VIDEO: NSW cops given power to remove veils
MUSLIM women can be forced to remove their face veils during routine car stops under new powers granted to NSW police.
Premier Barry O’Farrell said Cabinet had approved the move yesterday so police could properly identify motorists or any other people suspected of committing a crime.
“I don’t care whether a person is wearing a motor cycle helmet, a burqa, niqab, face veil or anything else, the police should be allowed to require those people to make their identification clear,” he said.
Last week, NSW Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione said police needed stronger powers.
Last year, Sydney woman Carnita Matthews was sentenced to six months in jail for falsely accusing a police officer of forcibly trying to remove her burqa.
