Saudi Arabia has conducted tests to enable Israeli jets to make a bombing raid on Iran’s nuclear facilities, The Times reported June 12. Defense sources in the Gulf say that Riyadh has agreed to allow Israel to use a narrow strip of its airspace in the north of the country to diminish the distance for a bombing run on Iran. To ensure the Israeli bombers pass safely, Riyadh has carried out tests to make certain its own jets are not scrambled and missile defense systems not activated.

Geert Wilders to enter Dutch government after support for anti-Islamic party triples

The far-Right Dutch politician’s controversial PVV party came third, behind Labour and the victorious Liberals.

PVV increased its number of MPs from nine to 24 after campaigning against immigration, for a tax on Muslim headscarves, a ban on the Koran and against the building of new mosques.

“We would love to govern,” Mr Wilders said. “1.5 million people voted for us and our plans for more safety, less immigration and less Islam. We are the big winner and they cannot ignore us. We want to be taken seriously.”

Mark Rutte, the leader of the centre-right Liberal VVD and the man expected to be the next Dutch prime minister, hailed his party’s unprecedented victory. “It appears as if for the first time in our history that the VVD has become the largest party in the Netherlands,” he said.

Mr Rutte’s VVD is now expected to form a Right-wing coalition government with Mr Wilders and the Christian Democrat CDA, after that party lost 20 seats to fall from first to fourth place in Dutch politics.

The support of the Freedom Party’s 24 MPs is vital if the Liberals, with 31 seats, are to combine with the CDA, with 21, to gain a majority of 76 in the 150-seat Dutch parliament. Continue Reading →

Inspired by Mohamed

There is a website called, ‘Inspired by Mohamed’ which is an attempt to sell Islam to British people as if it was some wayward form of Tibetan Buddhism.

This has annoyed the hell out of a lot of people not the least of whom is one of Vlad’s readers, ‘Proud Kaffir’ whos lucid and cutting comments you will find on many of our posts as well as his most excellent drawing of Mohamed he contributed to Vlad’s ‘Everybody Draw Mohamed day’ video.

PK makes his point as well. I bet a lot of you can come up with some more ideas for this series. I say we keep it going. Post your suggestions for Proud Kaffir in the comments. I have a few of my own such as, ‘Murder the husband and son of a family right in front of the wife and mother of them, then rape the surviving woman and tell everyone its OK, you “married” her. Then use the fact that you slaughtered all these people cause they where Jews who wouldnt follow you as messiah and raped and enslaved the good looking women as proof that “Islam doesn’t hate the Jews. Mohamed had a Jewish wife!”

Which multinational brand has the biggest image problem these days? BP? Toyota? Goldman Sachs?

How about Islam? Say what you will about those other entities: They don’t have to deal with the public’s fear of terrorism.

Last month, an opinion poll conducted by the online research firm YouGuv found 50 per cent of Britons associate Islam with terrorism, 69 per cent believe the religion encourages the repression of women and 41 per cent don’t feel Muslims have a positive impact on British society.

While the specific numbers might vary from one country to another, the impressions are similar across the West. Last Sunday, during a rally in lower Manhattan opposing a mosque planned for the former World Trade site, protesters held up signs that read, “All I need to know about Islam, I learned on 9/11.” Sure, that’s like saying, “All I need to know about Christianity, I learned during the Crusades.” But it points to a bald fact: Islam has some work to do.

Which is why this week large posters began appearing on the London Underground and at city bus stops featuring three Britons who are seeking to put a different face on the religion. In the most genre-busting ad, a blonde woman without a head covering smiles prettily from the shores of a lake, accompanied by text which reads: “I believe in protecting the environment. So did Muhammad.” The woman is Kristiane Backer, a former MTV Europe host and convert to Islam who is identified as an “eco-Muslim.”

Another ad features a female barrister in a veil with the text, “I believe in women’s rights. So did Muhammad.” A third has a man who is identified as a worker with a homeless charity, stating, “I believe in social justice. So did Muhammad.” The campaign extends to a handful of taxis painted colourfully with quotes from the prophet. The ads point to a Website, InspiredByMuhammad.com, where a dozen short videos offer a progressive Islamic take on subjects such as animal welfare, charity, education, health, and coexistence. Wilders Doubles his vote — PVV now Holland’s third party

Well he’s not done quite as well as was expected a few months ago but the platinum bombshell, Geert Wilders, is still nonetheless now an unavoidable fact in mainstream Dutch politics.

Wilders – who campaigned on an anti-immigration, anti-Islam platform – has more than doubled support for his Freedom Party.He has gained 24 seats in the new parliament – up from 9.

This would of course not be a big deal if Wilders was not such a polarizing political voice – not just in Holland but also across Europe.He has for the last 6 years been living under 24 hour police protection because of a series of death threats made against him.He is also currently on trial for inciting racial hatred after comparing the Quran to Mein Kampf and Islam to Nazism.

Wilders politics cause offence to many – he was banned from entering the UK in 2009 – but they also strike a chord with plenty of disgruntled voters.
With an even more prominent position – due to his electoral showing – Wilders is expected to use his success to turn the volume up even higher on his core message; Islam is unwelcome in Holland and Europe; a country and continent with Christian and democratic foundations.

Despite his support – PVV is now the third party in Holland – a cabinet position may still be out of reach in any new coalition. Many Dutch politicians find his views morally rebarbative.

But that does not mean he won’t be able to shape opinion. With more seats in parliament Wilders is likely to create even greater divisions in Dutch politics and multi-cultural tolerance.

A college professor who worked as a senior elections clerk for the City and County of Honolulu in 2008 is making the stunning claim Barack Obama was definitely not born in Hawaii as the White House maintains, and that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not even exist in the Aloha State.


Tim Adams, a former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, now teaches English at Western Kentucky University.

“There is no birth certificate,” said Tim Adams, a graduate assistant who teaches English at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky. “It’s like an open secret. There isn’t one. Everyone in the government there knows this.”

Adams, who says he’s a Hillary Clinton supporter who ended up voting for John McCain when Clinton lost the Democratic nomination to Obama, told WND, “I managed the absentee-ballot office. It was my job to verify the voters’ identity.”

He says during the 2008 campaign when the issue of Obama’s constitutional eligibility first arose, the elections office was inundated with requests to verify the birthplace of the U.S. senator from Illinois.

Anjem Choudary also issued a statement that if Sayeeda Warsi female politician would visit Muslim community she might face violence against her.

Sayeed Warsi has been slammed by the Islamic fundamentalists who warned she could be in physical danger if she visits Muslim communities.

She is the 39 year old and first female Muslim to be given full Cabinet position. It also has been stated by Anjem Choudary that she has betrayed her religion. According to him  “She may look like a Muslim and have a Muslim-sounding name but she does not ­represent Islam or anyone in this country who is a Muslim.
She is a ‘coconut’, brown on the outside but white on the inside.
“In fact, she is whiter than most of the other white people in government.
“She is a disgrace and many true Muslims are angry that she claims to stand for Islam despite betraying Allah.”
Anjem choudary whose group Islam4UK was banned by the last government has predicted that Warsi would become the focus of hate.

He said: “She will be attacked by eggs every time she goes near a Muslim community. “Some more extreme protesters may take the attacks further. There is no doubt she is in danger.”

Choudary and his supporter will be heading to Brussels on Saturday to join a protest agains Belgium’s bid to ban the burka.
He said:
“There will be hundreds of Muslims from Britain heading to Belgium to join with thousands of our brethren to fight against this tyranny.

“We will fight all attempts to destroy ­Islam.
“There will be blood on the streets.”

Prisoners convert to Islam for jail perks

Inmates are converting to Islam in order to gain perks and the protection of powerful Muslim gangs, the Chief Inspector of Prisons warns today.

Dame Anne Owers says that some convicted criminals are taking up the religion in jail to receive benefits only available to practising Muslims.

The number of Muslim prisoners has risen dramatically since the mid-1990s — from 2,513 in 1994, or 5 per cent of the population, to 9,795 in 2008, or 11 per cent. Staff at top-security prisons and youth jails have raised concerns about the intimidation of non-Muslims and possible forced conversions.

Dame Anne’s report, Muslim Prisoners’ Experiences, published today, says that, although several high-profile terrorists have been jailed recently, fewer than 1 in 100 Muslim inmates have been convicted of terrorism.

She says that prison staff are suspicious about those practising or converting to the faith and warns that treating Muslim inmates as potential or actual extremists risks radicalising them. The report says: “Many Muslim prisoners stressed the positive and rehabilitative role that Islam played in their lives, and the calm that religious observance could induce in a stressed prison environment. This was in marked contrast to the suspicion that religious observance, and particularly conversion or reversion, tended to produce among staff.”

All prisons offer a halal menu, which some inmates see as better than the usual choices. Muslims are excused from work and education while attending Friday prayers. Some converts, who are known as “convenience Muslims”, admitted that they had changed faith because they got more time out of the cells to go to Friday prayers.
