THE controversial sale of the Drill Hall site in High Town to a Muslim group has been axed, with Luton Borough Council announcing yesterday (Dec 21) that homes will be built there instead.

At a secret meeting last week, members of the council’s executive decided that the site should be used for housing, rather than be sold to the Shia Muslim Masjid-e-Ali group for £1.5 million.

A spokesman for the group said its members were “extremely disappointed” by the decision.

The council had agreed to sell the site to the group for use as a community centre, but suspended the sale earlier this year after rumours were circulated in Luton by the English Defence League that the new building would be a ‘High Town Super-Mosque’.

A campaign followed by a group called House the People for new affordable homes to built on the site.

The council said the sale was suspended because of new policy guidance from Whitehall on the sale of buildings owned by local authorities.

A task group consisting of council leader Hazel Simmons and two other Labour executive members was set up in September to look at the best future use of the site.

They spoke to local residents and community groups including the Masjid-e-Ali, who are currently based in Moor Street.

Cllr Simmons said the decision reflected the council’s commitment to providing affordable housing, adding: “Our goal is to maximise the potential for regeneration in this area with a scheme that is supported by the local and wider community.”

She continued: “This has been a long and challenging process and the decision we have made at the end of it reflects the council’s commitment to doing everything it can to continue to provide new and much-needed affordable housing in Luton. This remains an absolute priority.”

The council says the homes on the site will be a mixture of “affordable and private market dwellings”.

The fecal irony of British policy.

Usually irony is described as wry. I understand that. Usually it brings a kind of half-smile. The irony of arresting over 160 members of the EDL before they have done a single thing, and when it was well publicized that their intention was nothing more than to show respect for those who fought and died to give and defend freedom to British patriots, well that is a irony that requires at the very least an anti-emetic if not an army sent from Roto-Rooter.

Simply put, arresting people who wanted to attend a ceremony commemorating those who fought for freedom…. makes one wonder who or what actually won the war. Perhaps more accurately, who inherited the Kingdom from those who did win it.

London 11/11/11

I arrived at Westminster tube station at around 10.30 am. There was a minimal police presence, even outside the two pubs that I passed that were full of EDL supporters who I recognized. From previous events, I knew the police could quickly surround groups of people and contain them for long periods of time, waiting for an excuse to arrest someone or cause trouble, even if they had to attack people with batons and dogs, like in Rochdale. I didn’t particularly fancy being contained like cattle today, as I was there to pay my respects to our fallen war heroes and experience being at the cenotaph to do it, I didn’t want the police to take this opportunity away from me. Poppy-burning Muslims plan new ‘hell for heroes’ demonstration on November 11

Isn’t this how the EDL started? This group of ungrateful bastards disrupted a Nov 11th ceremony for British troops, in Britain, many of whom I would wager are receiving a large amount of government goodies in England. As I recall, Chaudery himself admitted to getting government money but saying that it was “Allah’s money and not the taxpayers of the UK” or words to that effect. Nice dodge. In any case, here they go again.

An extreme Muslim group which caused outrage by burning a poppy last Remembrance Sunday is planning further disruption on November 11, with a twisted ‘Hell for Heroes’ campaign.

The demo, which mocks charity for injured soldiers Help for Heroes, is due to take place outside the Royal Albert Hall, the same location where a poppy was burned last year.

Emdadur Choudhury, who burned the poppy, was fined just £50.

Secret courts to shut down £1m ‘Cashpoint’ for terror suspects .

UK Government currently unable to contest compensation claims due to the secret nature of the evidence.

Secret hearings will be held in terror compensation cases, in an attempt to stop the taxpayer being used as a £1million ‘cashpoint’ for fanatics.

The move is designed to end the dilemma faced by the Cabinet Office when MI5 and MI6 hold classified intelligence on terror suspects who are lodging compensation claims, which under civil court rules must be released to them and their lawyers.

It follows public outrage over payouts of millions of pounds to 16 terror suspects, including former Guantanamo Bay detainee Binyam Mohamed, who claimed they had been mistreated by security and intelligence officials.

Imam found guilty of abusing young girls!

A ‘DESPICABLE’ paedophile who abused three girls when he was an Imam at a town centre mosque has been convicted by a jury.

Ebrahim Yusuf Kazi, 67, was found guilty of five counts of indecent assault on three girls aged under the age of 13.

The offences took place between 1979 and 1986 at Broad Street Mosque, where Kazi was an Imam before moving to Gloucester.

The victims have been praised by the police for their bravery in coming forward and one victim told the Adver she will come face-to-face with him at court next month to see him sentenced.

Kazi’s crimes were only revealed after one young victim contacted Wiltshire Police.

The Islamization of London. A photo tour

When I arrived in London in September it had been more than forty years since I had last spent any time in the city. If I hadn’t kept up with recent events through my British contacts, the changes would have been startling indeed.

The most popular tourist spots appear much the same, and the commercial areas are still thronged with shoppers. No matter where you go, however, the presence of Islam makes itself felt. With the rapid increase in the Muslim population over the past decade, the capital of Britain has moved that much closer to becoming an Islamic city.

The process of Islamization is not always as obvious as in this poster, which appeared one morning last July at a bus shelter on the corner of Mission Grove and Carisbrooke Road, in the Waltham Forest area of East London:

This is the new Islamic Britain as envisioned by the fire-breathing radical Anjem Choudary? and Muslims Against Crusades. MAC’s latest initiative is called The Islamic Emirates Project, and its stated goal is “Breaking the Foundations of Western Civilisation”:

Muslims across the UK collectively declared their disgust of British values and their desire to live by the Shari’ah.

As Muslim enclaves across Britain rapidly edge closer to Islamic autonomy, Muslims Against Crusades in conjunction with several other leading Muslim organisations would like to declare the next chapter in the ongoing campaign to transform Britain into a thriving Islamic state.

Mr. Choudary lives in Ilford, but he and his supporters are also active in East London, Luton, and other parts of England where Islam is ascendant. He is the most forthright and plainspoken of Britain’s Islamic radicals. No taqiyyah or kitman (sacred lying) for him. He proudly proclaims the coming Caliphate in public, volubly and repeatedly, into the microphones and in front of the cameras.

Denial is rampant among the multicultural oligarchs of the political class. The British government prefers to believe that Anjem Choudary and other Islamic zealots are not serious in their avowed intentions. Their incendiary pronouncements are thought to be mere rhetoric — what they really want is more funding, more generous welfare benefits, new state-supported Koran schools, or more parking spaces around their mosques. Everything is business as usual to the politicos.

The leaders of the three major political parties find it impossible to accept that these “extremists” mean exactly what they say. Acknowledging the problem would force the government to actually do something to save the country from destruction. In the second decade of the 21st century — with millions of Muslims already in Britain, and hundreds of thousands more arriving or being born every year — what could they do? How could Islamization ever be reversed without enormous expense or unimaginable violence?

No, it’s better to pretend that everything is harmonious and peaceful and normal in Modern Multicultural Britain.

From time to time the coming Emirate intrudes even into the tourist zones of London. Matthew Would Like To Say A Few Words.

Tundra Tabloids posted an article recently about something that happened over in England.

My mate Martin Brennan has been staying with a fellow called Matthew Stiddard. Martin was deported from Australia officially due to a breach of visa, but seeing as Martin had never been in trouble with the police nor had any notification from DIAC about any visa irregularities, I wonder if that was really it.

That’s for another day, so we’ll leave that for now.

Matthew was interviewed by VladTepes, and I’ve also gotten to know him. He’s starting to get a bit of a profile now, and he’s concerned that there might be some misconceptions floating around with respect to his current police…. challenges… and what’s happening with the leadership of the EDL.

For the record, Matthew has never made any comment about why the police would be interested in Martin. In conversation he has made it quite clear that it’s not a path he would like to travel down.

UPDATE on the arrest of Matthew Stiddard of the EDL

Matt was kind enough to email me the following update and details of what took place yesterday with him. Posted verbatim:

Dear Vlad Tepes

On the morning of the 22nd September 2011 at 8am BST police officers entered my home and immediately seized my laptop and a number of mobile phones belonging to myself and Martin (who is currently staying with me while he sorts himself out) and who is visiting his parents near London. They even tried taking two musical CD’s by a band called Anglo Saxon thinking it was something to do with right-wing extremist propaganda. The police went into my bedroom and headed straight for Martin bag were he has clothing and his passport and documents of who he is and his deportation information. Two police officers spent between 40 and 60 minutes looking at these documents taking information from the documents and on two occasions taking his passport and other documents outside to make phone calls, only one can guess why they did this. They searched every corner of my home including the garden. I was then arrested due to medical grounds which have nothing to do with my chosen path in standing against the worldwide jihad movement. I was then taken to the police station to be formally charged.

On arrival I had to be signed in and give over my details, I was asked if I had any religious beliefs or special food requirements, my reply was…

‘I do not eat any halal food or any halal certified foods’ in return the police officer sad ‘I am being serious’ in which I replied ‘does it look like I am f**king joking….No halal’ was I rude, arrogant or stupid in saying this or was I, a man for standing by my principles.

The police then had 6 hours to go through my laptop gaining access to my video’s, articles, resources and the many anti-jihad blogs and website that I have stored on my laptop. I was then interviewed at 6pm BST firstly about my arrest connected to my medical condition which I believe was a poor excuse to enter my home. They then turned to other matters concerning my involvement in the counter jihad, they seem to know all about my video’s, my youtube channel, the demonstrations I attend around the country, my web activities and the fact that I look through council planning applications for mosques and islamic community centres so I can then pass them on to a lawyer, so he can fight to stop them being built. I replied that I had not been arrested for this so I do not have to answer your questions the whole interview lasted around 9 minutes.

This investigation is still on going, in other words they have nothing on me and want to try and find something. I was released at 9pm to answer bail on the 7th of November were I will find out if I am going to be charged with racial and religious assault and/or exciting racial hatred. I have had threats of violence, been followed and had my Landrover Discovery set on fire by the left-wing nut jobs that plague our country, the police even know the group responsible, yet no arrests or questioning to these people have been made to date.

When I first chose this path I understood that not only would I be fighting the jihad and it’s many forms but the politicians, the police and the appeasers of the left, this is the reality that we find ourselves in, in today’s world. I am the first person to say I would rather not do this but until the powers to be take control of this situation then I will always be standing for human rights and freedoms not for myself but for the men, women and children around the world.

Two EDL members stabbed in pub

I have written before on the soft totalitarianism of selective enforcement and other tactics of the modern British state. This one has me especially concerned. Even the most ardent detractors of the EDL admit rapidly, that had a number of EDL members walked into a building and stabbed several Muslim radicals or activists merely because they were Muslim activists, it would be front page news all over the UK and probably all over the world with Iran leading the way.

Meanwhile, several EDL members were followed into a public space yesterday and stabbed by Muslims while they were drinking and socializing and there is practically nothing at all about it in the media. The account given below is, as I have been told, disgracefully inaccurate.

England, you have a problem. You were offered a choice. Defend your culture forcefully or suffer humiliation. You have chosen humiliation. I hope that works out for you. (Paraphrasing Sir Winston)

Two men were seriously hurt when they were stabbed in clashes between the English Defence League and Muslim protesters after a 9/11 memorial service in London.

The two men are thought to have been on opposing sides during a pitched battle outside a pub in Edgware Road last night.

The groups staged rival protests outside the American Embassy in Grosvenor Squareduring a minute’s silence to mark the moment when the first hijacked plane hit New York’s World Trade Center 10 years ago.

About 100 activists from radical Islamist groups including Muslims Against Crusades set fire to a US flag while others shouted slogans including “USA terrorists”.

Sixty members of the far-Right group staged a counter demonstration and both groups then took part in an unplanned 90-minute march along Park Lane and Edgware Road toRegent’s Park Mosque.

A fight broke out outside the Tyburn pub in Edgware Road in which the two men were stabbed. More than 40 people were arrested during the day, 13 of them in connection with assaults during the brawl at about 6pm.

An eyewitness, who did not wish to be named, said: “There was a group of EDL guys drinking outside the pub when a large group of Muslims walked past. The EDL started hurling racist abuse at the Muslims who took offence. They got angry and were yelling back.

“Then the EDL guys picked up pub furniture and started throwing glasses and chairs and tables at the group in the street.

“It was chaos. At first it was just 10 EDL guys but that number quickly swelled to about 50 people.

“The police were on the scene really quickly. They separated the groups and just started arresting people.”

Earlier radical Islamists, including hate preacher Anjem Choudary, gathered in Grosvenor Square as families of British 9/11 victims prepared for a remembrance ceremony in the September 11 memorial garden.

A smaller group of Muslims staged a counter-demonstration nearby, holding up placards reading “Muslims Against Extremism” and “If You Want Sharia, Move To Saudi”
