Still no real solid information. The following are comments from an EDL facebook page on what took place.

The EDL were at the American Embassy today to pay respects to those that lost their lives and lay a wreath. They also were moved away to allow MAC members to come in and to burn the American and UK flags, why are the Police allowing these atrocities to happen, that is one question you should be asking.

Second…ly the EDL dispersed and a small amount of members went to the public house in question and were peacefully drinking when a number of Muslims entered the pub and proceeded to attack the EDL members, stabbing two male members of the EDL.

The Muslims were got out of the Pub and have congregated outside and the EDL are inside the pub, it is the Muslims causing the damage and the Police are standing around doing nothing. Again this shows the two tier Justice system we have in this country, the EDL were peaceful and it is the Muslims that have, yet again, caused the trouble. Where are all these so called moderate Muslims that you hear about but never see?

EDL clash with locals in Edgware Road

EDL members have descended onto one of London’s most famous streets and have had clashes with locals, this evening.

Around 50-100 EDL members are currently on Edgware Road, a part of London dominated by the Arab community.

Chairs and windows have been smashed and police are trying to separate the two groups. The Edgware Road area is completely gridlocked with traffic tailing back all the way to White City and the Westfield shopping centre in Shepherds Bush

A London Air Ambulance has arrived in nearby Hyde Park, which is at the top of Edgware Road at the Marble Arch crossing. Some people have said that someone has been seriously injured although this is unconfirmed.

Earlier, EDL members clashed with the group Muslims Against the Crusades outside the 9/11 memorial near the US Embassy. 4 arrests were made.

 A number of radical Islamic groups including Muslims Against Crusades (MAC) gathered outside the embassy on the 10th anniversary of the attacks.

The group of around 100 men shouted “USA terrorists”, brandished anti-American placards and chanted through a loudhailer.

Several members of the Muslim groups made anti-American speeches following the flag burning.

One said: “You will always face suffering, you will always face humiliation, unless you withdraw your troops from Muslim lands.”

Another declared that America had been “defeated in Iraq and defeated in Afghanistan”.

Members of the group publicly burned a poppy on Armistice Day in a similar stunt.

However, a small opposing group of Muslims – some of whom had travelled hundreds of miles to rebut the extremists – staged a counter-demonstration nearby, holding up placards reading “Muslims Against Extremism” and “If You Want Sharia, Move To Saudi”. Continue Reading →

Tommy Robinson Legal Fund

In Tower Hamlets Tommy made a very clear statement:

“When you let me out of court with any bail conditions that restrict my democratic right to oppose militant Islam, I will break them the minute I walk out of that court room.”

The question then becomes: is Tommy Robinson being held captive because he has dared to challenge the authority of the court (in the way that radical Muslims and supporters of Sharia Law do every day), or because he dared to challenge the government’s view that we should engage with, appease, and even fund militant Islam?

What is more dangerous, the possibility that Tommy Robinson may inspire people with similar restrictions on their freedoms to violate their bail conditions or that his example will once again underline the fact that the government’s counter-extremism strategies just don’t work?

Tommy is currently in a cell in Bedford Prison, having broken his bail conditions in order to attend the EDL demonstration in Tower Hamlets. There were many good reasons why we chose to demonstrate in Tower Hamlets, and Tommy simply felt that he could not sit idly by whilst the movement he founded took to the streets to protest against the formation of Britain’s ‘Islamic Republic’ (not our words, but those of a “very senior figure in the Tower Hamlets Labour Party”).

Ever since the EDL was founded we have found ourselves battling against politicians, but we have also sought to maintain a commitment to peaceful protest, respect the role played by the police, and never seek to undermine the law of the land. Tommy’s decision to break his bail conditions was, therefore, far from an easy one. It was not a reckless decision, but one made with a full appreciation of the likely consequences.

Tommy judged that the right to free speech, the right to peaceful protest, and his duty to speak out against the tyrannical influence of radical Islam, outweighed the court’s decision to place such strict limitations on his freedoms; a decision lent weight by the European Court of Human Rights’ rulings on the right to freedom of assembly.

He judged, quite rightly, that in breaking his bail conditions he would treated far more harshly than we have seen radical Muslims treated. He was certain this would send a clear signal to anyone concerned about freedom of speech or about the influence of radical Islam in this country, that our freedoms are under attack, and the government, the courts, and the media are yet to wake up to the threat. In the worst cases, they’re even complicit in this attack on freedom.

If anything, the fact that Tommy will spend the rest of the week in prison just confirms what many of us will have suspected for a long time: the charges against him are motivated more by politics than they are by the desire to see justice done.

It’s now time for us all to make a statement:

We need to support Tommy to ensure justice is served and Tommy is aquitted and his freedom and liberty is respected. You can show your support for Tommy by making a donation to his legal fees. This year, as last, Tommy Robinson had every intention of travelling to America for the 9/11 memorial. However, due to his recent incarceration as a political prisoner arising from ridiculous and exaggerated charges placed on him by the UK’s once enviable justice system, his chances of gaining a visa permitting travel to the USA are probably nil.

It is with great regret that he is unable to travel to commemorate the solemn anniversary. Our hearts go out to our cousins.  We always have and always will stand in solidarity with you for we continue to share a common goal; the struggle against Radical Islam.

We will never forget all those lives lost on a day when followers of Radical Islam took so many innocent lives just as they did in London on 7/7.

Due to the restrictions on travelling to the USA, the EDL will always welcome our American friends to meet with us in England.

We’d like to close by remembering the words of our greatest leader and English man, Sir Winston Churchill, that aptly described a fight our two nations joined forces in decades ago, and which are just as apposite now:

We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering. You ask, what is our policy? I will say: It is to wage war, by sea, land, and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us; to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark, lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be.

 

We will never forget, we will never forgive, we will be unwavering in our struggle and we will never surrender to the dark forces of radical Islam, not now not ever!

Anjem Chaudery’s plans revealed.

So now we know. The countdown clock on MAC’s website etc. The ominous foreboding it creates. Well now we know what it is. A bunch of grown men in ball gowns, knit caps and harem pants plan to go be rowdy outside the American embassy embassy during the moment of silence for the 911 commemoration in London.

“We will be very noisy during that time. It will be to expose the crimes of the American government over the past ten years and showing how they have failed.

I haven’t heard invective like that since the sandbox in the first grade. I wonder if TOmmy will be out of jail before then? Something tells me the whole purpose of his arrest and jailing for nothing was to keep the EDL and specifically Tommy away from Anjem and Mac during the 911 ceremonies.

I live on Mile End Road, the bus carrying the EDL supporters was attacked literally right outside my window. I had to watch in fear and horror as hundreds (there were far more than 100) local Asian children threw missiles, heard foul abuse and attempted to attack the coach. At no point did I see or hear anything provocative from the EDL members on the bus. They were obviously arrested for their own safety and to quell the bloodlust of this rabid mob. There were at least 200 police in riot gear, my road was cordoned off, and it was an extremely intimidating atmosphere… not just for the public but also for the police. I witnessed with my own eyes a gang of weedy Muslim children who couldn’t punch there way out of a wet paper bag individually, verbally abusing and threatening the police.. in fact picking out a female officer for special treatment. I was very anti-EDL and BNP not so long ago. But when it is on your door step, in your face, it is a different story. Some EDL members will inevitably be racist morons. More still will be unable to articulate themselves clearly… after all they are uneducated and working class. But Tommy Robinson is absolutely correct, he is a political prisoner of the state, and everybody who cherishes this country and OUR traditions should support him. The fact that no Muslims were arrested on Mile End Road says two things first of all the political pressure on the police to treat the EDL as criminals and secondly the great difficulties of making any arrests… These animals run in packs and make it very dangerous for an officer to apprehend one except in large numbers. I even watched one group with my own eyes approach an officer on his own to tell him they were going to get ‘tooled up’.

EDL’s Tommy Robinson Taken To ‘Luton Gulag’

We have just received news that following his stand for political freedom in Tower Hamlets on Saturday, Tommy Robinson has been arrested and taken to Bedford Prison. People are already nicknaming the ‘Luton Gulag’ due to Tommy’s status as a political prisoner. Britain’s reputation for political freedom is in tatters as its mask slips to reveal tyranny and oppression. Tyrannical decisions were of course already been made in the run up to the Tower Hamlets demonstration when all marches, EDL and any others, were outlawed by the Home Secretary. Which individual or group will be the next to suffer from Britain’s rising tyranny? It seems clear from the blanket ban on marches in various parts of London that it will not just be the EDL who will suffer at the whim of the power crazed fanatics who now appear to be running the country.

The woman was lying down on the ground reportedly, with a broken jaw from a punch to the face. Probably this is the incident that these two fascist ‘anti-fascists’ are yucking it up over.
