The Hungary Referendum and Mainstream Media Spin

There seems to be a common theme across the leftist media outlets today as news spreads of the results of Hungary’s referendum on EU migrant quotas. Pervasive are words that fit the leftist narrative such as “defeat” and “failure”.

One particular article referenced Viktor Orban as “…a cartoonish leader” and stated that he now “…stands humiliated”.

What is cartoonish is the reporting. What is humiliating is the seemingly total lack of due diligence applied to an unfortunate number of “news” stories today.

A quick search provides one with all of the data required to fully comprehend the significance of what took place in Hungary yesterday, and what one will find is remarkable.

In 2003, Hungary held their referendum on whether or not they should join the EU. That received only a 45.6% turnout and of those who voted, only 83% (38% of registered voters) were for joining.

Yesterday’s turnout was quite comparable at 43%. What is not comparable are the results that showed only 1.56% (less than 1% of registered voters) voted “Yes”. This means that 92% (40% of all registered voters) said “No” to the forced migration. If we disregard blank or invalid votes, this increases to 98%.

That is significant. There isn’t a single polling company in the known universe that would not consider 43% to be a sufficient enough cross-section from which to extrapolate.

This is anything but a failure. This not only demonstrates where the Hungarian people actually sit on this issue, but it absolutely provides a strong case for Hexit.

 

Was George Soros the principle person behind forcing a “global Warming” agenda on the US?

Leaked docs show Soros paid Al Gore to push AGW according to Eagle Rising

Documents released by DC Leaks show that globalist billionaire George Soros’s organization gave millions to Al Gore’s global warming programs that had as their express purpose to create a “political space for aggressive U.S. action” on climate change. Soros also had planned on giving millions to another environmentalist group, which leaked documents described as being the “lead organizer of the youth climate movement in the U.S.”

The documents showed that Soros’s Open Society Institute (OSI) – now called Open Society Foundations (OSF) – gave $30 million to Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection over the course of three years.

“U.S. Programs Global Warming Grants…U.S. Programs became engaged on the global warming issue about four years ago, at George Soros’s suggestion,” a leaked OSI document read.

U.S. Programs is a division of George Soros’s OSF – formerly called OSI – that hands out money, mostly to left-leaning causes. OSF’s website describes U.S. Programs:

“Through grant making…U.S. Programs seeks to promote full participation in the nation’s civic, political, and economic life—particularly for communities that are historically marginalized and vulnerable—and to ensure that the core institutions of civil society are effective and accountable to the public.”

The leaked memo continued:

“There has been a budget of $11 million for global warming grants in the U.S. Programs budget for the last several years. This budget item captures George Soros’s commitment of $10 million per year for three years to Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection, which conducts public education on the climate issue in pursuit of creating political space for aggressive U.S. action in line with what scientists say is necessary to put our nation on a path to reducing its outsize carbon dioxide emissions.”

[Ed: The source page has a link to the Daily Caller but not directly to the leaked document. But at this stage its getting easy to believe anything about Soros.]

 

Letting a Corsican hero represent himself

Earlier today, we posted a video, perhaps somewhat of a smear piece, on a Corsican Facebook Vid-blogger who has a very large following.

Many worthy comments followed.

Oz-Rita explained that the German media company that made it is horrifically biased to the left as well as antisemitic.

Sunshine posted a link to the whole video he made, explaining that DW had in fact used an excerpt of it out of context to make him look bad.

M posted the Youtube version of it in French.

Terrorism: BFMTV and Le Monde won’t broadcast any more images of terrorists

While the [terrorist] attacks are increasing in France, the debate on a possible “glorification” of terrorism has been revived in the French media. BFMTV and Le Monde have decided not to broadcast pictures of the authors of the attacks. Elements of reflection.

So we stop publishing their photos, which does not prevent a work of investigation on their profile and their background. The only exception to this principle is the wanted posters, the search notices from law enforcement, that can help investigators,” commented Alexis Delahousse, deputy managing editor of BFMTV.

Shortly after the attack on 14 July in Nice, a petition was even officially launched to ask the CSA [Superior Council of Audiovisual (Content), a French institution whose role is to regulate the various electronic media in France, such as radio and television. Its predecessor, the Haute Autorité de la Communication Audiovisuelle, was created by the Socialist Party] to control the dissemination of such images. If this petition already has 70,000 signatories, the debate is however not new.

Photos that cause a scandal

Back in 2012, many readers and viewers were moved by the publication of photographs of Mohamed Merah, the perpetrator of the killings of Toulouse and Montauban, where we saw the terrorist laughing at the wheel of his car.

Similar reactions were observed in the aftermath of the attack on 14 July in Nice, during which 84 people were killed by a truck careening at full speed along la Promenade des Anglais. The press then diffused a more “advantageous” photo of Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, the author of the killing. We see him lying on the beach and showing off his muscles in a triumphant pose.

A vision all the more shocking, since at the same time several videos showing the victims of the attack — injured or dead — circulating on social networks. However, the decision not to broadcast the photographs of bombers poses several deeper questions. Several jihad specialists question and doubt the effectiveness of such a measure in the fight against radicalization. And David Thomson, RFI journalist and the author of a book on the lives of several French jihadists (The French jihadists, ed. les Arènes), doesn’t expect a decrease in terrorism.

A view reinforced by the fact that for several years ISIS has disseminated its propaganda with its own media channels. On social networks or via its QAMA agency, the terrorist organization propagates, after every attack or almost all, pictures of those responsible, rendering obsolete any attempt of the traditional media to “obscure” them.

Besides the problem of any possible “glorification” of terrorism, there’s the problem of the conspiracy theory. After every attack, every major event, the conspiracy-mongers from all sides attack the official version and try, usually by misinterpreting images, to discredit the facts. How to fight against these theories and their authors, while casting a veil over the pictures of the terrorists?

Should their names be removed?

On 27 July, following statements of Le Monde and BFMTV, it was the turn of Europe 1 to decide not to broadcast pictures of terrorists, and adding banishment of their names, a first in the media.

Problem: the media and the judiciary are not on the same wavelength. While during the day on Tuesday the media were broadcasting the initials of one of the alleged perpetrators of the attack of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, Prosecutor François Molins gave the full name of the man killed on the steps of the church.

Once the investigation is officially launched, and these elements published by the justice, what impact the non-dissemination by the media of these can have on the public, at a time when social networks often transmit information faster than traditional channels? This is the position taken by BFMTV, and assistant editor Alexis Delahousse explains that “if François Molins gives the name, then we will too.”

Again, the conspiracy theory is not far away. On Twitter the extreme right regularly calls authors of articles about the various facts or acts of terrorism, and in which full names are not given. Each time, the press is suspected and accused of deliberately withholding these names in order to cover up the extent of the particular case.

The Government Media complex at full throttle

Europe News does it again. Check out this video on how Islam and Muslims are the true victims of Islamic terror against the non-Muslim. Somehow.

To get a sense of Europe News’ style sheet lets visit the video they did of the Pope’s visit to the Central African Republic or CAR.

Nope there is no agenda to spin or deceive or create a false narrative at Europe News at all. Nope. No way no how.

Add to this the BBC deliberate changing of the Munich killer’s name to void a clear Islamic connection.

At this stage we could launch into a proper rebuttal of all the things said in the top video and refute them and do so well and with solid references from Islamic scripture and sharia law. For instance the legal use of the word “Terror” as it is used in the Cairo declaration which makes it the official definition of terrorism for Muslims, which specifically excludes jihad. Which means that condemning terror by any muslim who uses the term in that way does not mean what it is intended to make us think that it means.

That kind of thing. And suddenly what is said with apparent sincerity sounds a lot different.

Instead perhaps at this late stage its best to quote Mar Steyn:

“We all know Islam is the religion of peace. Now its time for Muslims to do their part and stop killing everyone all over the place.”

State-supported leftist mob harasses dentist because he is a member of the AfD

For years, Dentist Dr. Marius Radtke?(64) has been treating patients in his praxis at the Pistoriusstraße in Weißensee.

Marius Radtke works as a volunteer in the function of spokesman for the Lichtenberg district association of the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party. This has turned him into the target of left-wing groups who are determined to make his life difficult.

They dropped “warnings” into the mailboxes in the neighborhood, which were meant to inform patients that their dentist was a member of the “racist, un-social and hypocritical AfD party”.

Then they sent warnings to the other dental practices in the area and asked the “dear praxis teams” not to refer any more patients to Dr.?Radtke. In this manner they have tried to ruin the dentist economically since April 13. On their portal, ”antifascist Initiative”, the leftists celebrate themselves about this action, using the motto: “Pulling out Germany’s teeth!”

Then, on Thursday, May 12, it happened: 60 black-clad people demonstrated in front of the dentist’s practice. The police secured the door behind which Dr.? Radtke worked with his dentist’s drill in hand, while they hurled insults at him from the street.

The march to the dentist’s office, which used the title “Weissensee ist bunt”, (Weissensee is colorful), was supported by three groups. One of the groups is the “Willkommensnetzwerk Pankow Hilft” (Welcome Network Pankow Helps). This network receives direct financial aid by the federal government, specifically the Ministry for Family.

“Pankow Hilft” is the recipient of plenty of praise and favorable mentions in public for their voluntary work with migrants and asylum seekers.

Now, the helpers have turned up at Pistoriusstrasse, however not to help, but to insult a dentist because he is a member of the AfD.

All this happened a week ago. [Ed: at the time of writing. It may be a few weeks ago now] The public wasn’t mentionably upset about it. And that may be the worst yet. Because if this becomes the norm, that people because of their political preferences can be harassed by an angry mob with the goal that said person then won’t be able to keep on practicing his livelihood, then Democracy has come to an end. Then we will enter very quickly into a new age of street fights.

Berlin city officials cloaked in silence

In April, the minister president of Thüringen, Bodo Ramelow (Left) had in clear language vehemently condemned the demonstration of left extremists in front of the residence of AfD leading figure Björn Höcke. Ramelow spoke of “nazi-tactics”.

It’s with this same kind of bluntness that the campaign against the Berlin dentist should have also been condemned. But the city leader cloaked himself in silence. As did other politicians, of whom not a word was heard from as well.

If one wishes to dispute Dr. Radtke, they should invite him to a discussion. But that is apparently not at all what these left marchers want. They want to finish a person, because they don’t like him.

The character of the city of Rutland, Vermont is facing major change.  Nestled in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont, it is an unsuspecting city targeted for refugee resettlement.  After being kept in the dark since their mayor’s unilateral decision to accept 100 Syrian and Iraqi refugees in October, Rutland citizens should investigate the threatening impact that refugee resettlement has on their own public security, economic stability and community health before it’s too late.

The city of Rutland was chosen as the site to place refugees by the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI), one of the nine major federally-funded refugee resettlement contractors or voluntary agencies (volags), and its local affiliated field office or subcontractor, the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program (VRRP). According to Ann Corcoran of Refugee Resettlement Watch, once a site is chosen for resettlement, the agency submits an annual resettlement plan to the State Department in order to receive federal funding of nearly $2,000 per refugee sponsored in addition to federal grants of up to $2,200 per refugee sponsored.  Refugee resettlement has become a billion dollar industry, according to investigative journalist James Simpson, a former economist and budget examiner for the White House Office of Management and Budget.

Judge Mocks Populace

Dusseldorf. Just how arrogant individual german criminal judges have become, was revealed on Wednesday at the District Court. That is where an illegal asylum seeker, accused of groping, was given a judgment of probation, so that the judgment won’t serve to please the expectations of an angry mob.”

In the early morning hours of January 6th, as she was waiting for a train, a 15 year old girl was sexually molested by two men. “The suspect grabbed her and forced her to sit on his lap even though she tried to resist. He groped her private parts and he kissed her on the mouth against her will”, the internal police report writes. One of the participants was a young Syrian, the other one was from Iraq. A third Iraqi stood by and ridiculed the victim: “Person number 3 stood by and laughed,”, it says in the police report. A moroccan observed the situation and informed the police, which then freed the girl from her two tormentors.

The attack was supposed to be concealed

This attack, too, was supposed to be concealed from the public. It’s thanks to Die Welt, that the people of the state capital even heard about it, when the incident was reported four days after it happened. The police explained that the attack on the young girl was not reported by them for “reasons of protection for the victim”.

One of the suspects, the now 22 year old Iraqi Mohammed A., had to face juvenile court on Wednesday despite having reached legal age. Mohammed A. had confessed and admitted to have kissed the 15 year old against her will and having massively groped her. But since the Düsseldorf district court had passed increasingly mild and seemingly sympathetic judgments for offenders lately, which caused a bit of indignation in the population, a harsh judgment of the asylum seeker who entered Germany illegally, was not expected.

A “judgment that “won’t serve to please the expectations of an angry mob”

But what then came, was a new low point even for this court: The judge sentenced Mohammed A. to 20 months for sexual assault. But because this nation of law, after the New Year’s eve incidents “should not slide into a downward spiral, in which we let ourselves be harnessed in front of the wagons of certain political groups” and we should not “pass judgments that please the expectations of an angry mob”, the judge suspended the 20 months and passed probation instead. Under the requirement that the Iraqi even without a fixed residence will complete 150 hours of community service, the court was ready for the man’s immediate release.

It is only thanks to the prosecuting attorney that Mohammed A. was not immediately let go from custody. He doubted that the Iraqi would live a crime free life in the future in Germany and he spoke of the fact that Mohammed A. had lived and tried for Asylum in many different countries under many different names. In Sweden he was even granted legal residence, and yet “he still had nothing better to do than to commit a heinous act here”, once he crossed illegally into Germany.

The court granted a deadline to the prosecuting attorney to file for protest against the immediate release of the offender. But even so, this won’t change anything about the fact that the citizenry has already been ridiculed and mocked by being called “angry mob” by an impotent criminal justice system.

Another study in contrasts: Muslim arson against Jews, unknown arson against Muslims

Wed. May 11 2016. A Jewish deli, already burned down in an act of Arson by “Asians” was burned down again just as it was about to reopen after repairs and renovations.

Express UK:

Ta’am Grill and Bakery in Manchester was due to open just days after the attack – which one of the owners says could have been conducted by “a group of Asian boys”.

Amos Vaisman posted a video on social media showing two men breaking into his shop and dousing it in petrol.

The men then set fire to the building from the bathroom, with the flames spreading rapidly through the various rooms.

On a post attached to the video he wrote: “We have clear footage of the criminals involved and additional footage of them sending a group of Asian boys to go and buy petrol from the local garage.

Now lets compare that to related items at the end of the same article:

So when a Muslim structure burns, its “Islamophobic” even though the facts are, a significant amount of the time this happens, it was Muslims who did it, either out of anger, from a competing sect, or to blame the indigenous people of the area in order to get government money to build a larger better newer facility.

When a specific Jewish business is burned not once but twice, its a gang of “Asians”.

Have the people of the Western world bred themselves into a state of suicidal docility?

A few minutes thought will lead us to where this will go, both obvious and less so.

Lets say you are an actuarial. A Jewish person asks for insurance, which is mandatory now of course, to open a deli or any other business that can be identified as Jewish. You check your charts and find that the risk of arson due to ‘crime’ is an order of magnitude higher than for a non-Jewish business. Now the cost of operating is more than one can earn.

Other people who share the same structure also may suddenly not want to allow a Jewish owned or identifiable business to open. They will perceive the risk as coming from the victim, as is the human norm in times of civilizational collapse, as it is recognized that the government cannot and will not act against those who are committing these acts, or as we treat it as a crime and punishment issue and not as a military one, which is what it is, then it doesn’t matter if they do catch the perps because it will make no difference in terms of the risk since there will always be more muslims ready to wage jihad. Again, because it wasn’t a crime per se, in the first place.

The net result will be a net win for the Muslims. They will achieve the first part of the goal, “First comes Saturday, then comes Sunday”. A reference to first, dealing with the Jews and then the Christians.

It is this author’s belief that this cannot change unless we change our view of what is taking place here. Until we understand that war is being waged on us all by Muslims, and that their tactic is to do so in a manner we do not understand, so that we cannot use the proper tools to fight back, we will lose.

There are less than 4 leaders and even potential leaders who appear to understand this, even by inference, in the world today.

The rest of us had better learn to think for ourselves.

One additional thought.

As the “Islamophobic” attack in the link took place in Corsica, it is much more likely that it was a targeted attack against this building because of its purpose. But the history behind it is not what the article indicated whatsoever. It was an illegal mosque operating by very radical jihadis who had really angered the locals many times and many ways. When it became clear that the authorities would not uphold the laws in Corsica, the people did what people should do. They enforced the laws themselves. The crime was the mosque. The response was enforcement. Just not by those who should have done it.

However what I wrote about arson against Islamic buildings in this article holds true for the UK and nearly everywhere else in the West.

Mosques that are attacked in the Islamic world are pretty much all due to Islamic rivalry, Sunni-Shiia conflicts and personal vendettas with the occasional revenge attack by Christians and Buddhists or Hindus where numbers allow and Muslims are heavily on the offensive to take that territory for Islam.

German treatment of Turkey and Poland. A study in contrasts

There has been quite a lot of attention and activity over Merkel’s supplication to Erdogan over some highly typical media criticism, and well deserved at that, of Turkish policies concerning both internal matters and matters that affect the safety, rights and freedoms of Europeans.

Most of the attention is over a fairly annoying and left leaning TV comic named Böhmermann, who wrote a poem mocking Erdogan’s sexuality, and suggesting he would prefer to share a straw bed with a sheep than a mattress with one of his lady friends.

His poem, which was scrubbed from the internet as much as possible, but managed to find its way on to The Rebel’s servers, was even read out loud the other day by a member of the German Parliament.

The Merkel-party MP did not read it as a show of solidarity with European freedom of speech, especially freedom to mock political authority, the sole purpose of that right along with mocking religious authority, but to show why Erdogan is right to be offended and why this comic should be jailed.

Now lets look at this same TV show that Böhmermann works for, doing a treatment of neighboring Poland:

Germany’s famous Carnival Monday parades may be over on Tuesday, but the controversy many of them were courting was not. While several float makers remained under local police investigation for inciting racial hatred, one parade float from the city of Düsseldorf was causing an international outcry.

The creation in question depicts the leader of Poland’s ruling right-wing Law and Justice Party (PiS), Jaroslaw Kaczynski, as a dictator in military uniform with out booted foot on the head of a woman symbolizing his prostrate nation.

Some rather harsh depictions and illustrations of Poland. A nation that, well I think its safe to say, has some negative history with Germany in the not too distant past.

If one has even a quick look over these cases, there is at least the possibility that what we are seeing can be defined in one word.
