On the MAC Convention in Toronto and massive state funding for Islamic antisemitism

Please read this post over at RAIR about the MAC Convention in Toronto and know two additional things.

Melissa Lantsman and others) repeatedly mention that last year (for the previous convention or MAC programs), Canadian Heritage gave MAC $20,000 through the Anti-Racism Program (or Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Program).

MAC as an organization receives ongoing federal funding (hundreds of thousands to millions over the years, including a larger $349k grant in 2021 for anti-racism work)

Secondly, that the Ottawa Government went to great pains to shut down a film a few years ago at the Ottawa Public Library which was a factual documentary about the consequences of mass Islamic importation into Europe. The movie was called, Killing Europe. And various state agents within the municipal government of Ottawa went to great efforts to shut it down.

After various agents associated with both the Ottawa council and one or another “Human Rights Commission” (clearly not considering freedom of speech to be a human right) the same film maker made another documentary about how his first one had been shut down, where he exposed the various agents involved, we have tactfully not named in this article.

This post is a microcosm of how things now work across the West — especially in the Commonwealth, Germany, France, and much of Western Europe.
Add in the definition of dialectics from the daily Reader’s Links, and the picture becomes complete. It is a big ask to watch two films, but when you consider when they were made (killing Europe: 2017 and Killing Canada: 2018) and read the RAIR piece, the jigsaw feels complete. What we are living through is the culmination of decades of deliberate effort by leftist agencies: the systematic disempowerment of the individual and the elevation of the State to near-God status — a State that decides what is true, what may be said, and what must be punished.

It is a big ask to watch two films. But when you think about when they were made, and look at the post at RAIR it forms a pretty well completed jigsaw. There have been things at work for decades culminating in what is here and what will grow, shaped mostly via empowering small minded people by making certain thoughts either outright criminal, or worthy of social ostracism.

All moves take society to the left.

All dialectic attacks move society to the left.

All new laws take society to the left.

Taking things to the left means the disempowering of the individual and creating a near God-like state that can determine what is true and not true and enforce those narratives as suits their agenda at any given moment.

Islam is one of their primary cudgels. And in a few years from now, what legacy Canadians remain might look at the last 20 years with a great deal of sympathy for Harp Seal pups. We shall know what it is to be clubbed.

The Indictments against the SPLC is every bit as much an indictment of Canada

For those who don’t yet know, the dialectical enemy propaganda organization, the Southern Poverty Law Centre, has been formally indicted for fraud. They collected money from .. I am trying to find an adjective that is not also a pejorative in this case, let’s go with ‘concerned citizens’ to stop “extremism and hate” while in fact literally funding the Ku Klux Klan. According to FOX, they were also funding “National Socialists movement”. In other words, freaking Nazis.

Having followed these communist SOBs for many years now, we have done the odd article including secret video released of one of their meetings where they admit the real objective. To destroy classical America.

Tucker Carlson even did a good segment on them before he kinda… effectively… you know…

In 2018, the John Birch society did a video exposing the SPLC for what it really did. Attack any non-communist group or any Conservative group or any group that was a threat to the Islamo-communist plans for the United States using the now overly familiar dialectical labels of “hate” “intolerance” etc. ad inf.

Below, a video from 2018 by a Christian group that had their event cancelled because of pressure from the SPLC. Please note who did the agitation to shut them down, and who the SPLC was siding with:

So in the US, The SPLC was partnered with ANTIFA, and CAIR, and in Canada, the SPLC North, CAHN, is partnered with CAIR Canada, or the NCCM.

That is something we at VTB and others have repeated about them for years and years.

But The United States has now actually formally pressed charges against them. The joy one should feel, especially perhaps if one is from the left as the left represents itself, is enormous. But as a Canadian I am reminded of something I read back in the 80s. I have no idea if it is true exactly, but I know in principle it is.

“At any given time, there are over 100 elected representatives in jail in the United States.”

I remember reflecting that it is interesting that this is a badge of great honour for America. In Canada, no elected representative ever goes to jail for anything at all. This doesn’t mean none of our reps are criminal. It means we do not have anything like a republic. There is no equality before the law. There is nothing in Canada even approximating a republic. What Canada has instead of equality, is sanctimony. And that is not a substitute.

Canada has its own version of the SPLC. It is headed by an odious fellow named Bernie Farber. He in fact claimed that Neo-Nazi literature was found at the Freedom Convoy. A narrative that was widely amplified by the main state propaganda network, Comrades before Citizens, better known as the CBC.

In fact the pamphlet in question was from a years older march in Florida.

Here are some of the connections between the SPLC and the Canadian Anti-Hate network:

Confirmed Connections Direct Funding:

The SPLC provided $25,000 as seed/start-up funding to help establish the Canadian Anti-Hate Network. This has been reported by Ezra Levant (Rebel News) and others, and has not been credibly disputed by CAHN.

Partnership / Modeling: Multiple sources describe CAHN as being modeled after the SPLC and acting as its Canadian counterpart or “partner.” The Federalist (2019) explicitly referred to CAHN as an “Anti-Hate Southern Poverty Law Center Partner.”

Ideological and Operational Alignment: Bernie Farber (founding chair of CAHN) and the SPLC have collaborated for years on “hate group” monitoring, reporting, and public advocacy. Farber has been quoted by the SPLC and has appeared in joint or aligned efforts against what both organizations label as “far-right” or “hate” groups in North America.

Shared Tactics: Both organizations use similar methodologies — publishing “hate maps,” monitoring individuals and groups they define as extremist, and advocating for deplatforming, funding cuts, and legal pressure against their targets.

Background on the People/OrganizationsBernie Farber:

Former CEO of the Canadian Jewish Congress, now founding chair emeritus of CAHN. He is a prominent Canadian Jewish activist who has long focused on fighting antisemitism and far-right extremism. Critics (especially on the right) accuse him and CAHN of being overly broad in their definition of “hate,” often targeting conservative Christians, critics of mass immigration, and opponents of certain Islamist ideologies.

In fact, CAIR Canada, now called NCCM (National Council of Canadian Muslims) hired or asked Farber to give a presentation at Ottawa City Hall on Islamophobia several years ago. Something Farber is curiously worried about above and beyond antisemitism, except where antisemitism is a useful device to devalue Conservative groups the AHN targets.

Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN): Founded in 2018 in Toronto. It monitors and reports on what it considers far-right and hate groups in Canada. It receives some federal Canadian government funding and has been controversial for its aggressive stance against those it calls, “right-wing figures and organizations”.
Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC): The well-known U.S.-based organization famous (and controversial) for its “Hate Map” and lawsuits against extremist groups. It has faced significant criticism and legal setbacks in recent years for its expansive labeling practices.

Summary of the RelationshipThe SPLC and CAHN/Bernie Farber have a documented financial, ideological, and operational relationship. The SPLC helped fund CAHN’s creation, and the two groups function as aligned organizations with overlapping goals and tactics in the “anti-hate” space.

It is a very safe bet that no similar indictments will be levelled against the Canadian Antti-Hate network. Like elected reps in Canada, they are above the law, especially if they are working against Classical Canada. And the CAHN most certainly does.

For those who have not seen Michael Hansen’s excellent film, Killing Canada, banned from the Ottawa Public Library, there is also a very good and well researched segment on the CAHN that should be seen. Below is the whole movie. Perhaps later I’ll excerpt that section. But the whole film is well worth the time. It was filmed shortly before the Communist Revolution of 2020.

In a comment on this post, I was reminded that a fine group of young patriots, who were in fact very much classical liberals, were destroyed and made illegal by the Canadian parliament BY UNANIMOUS vote, called the Proud Boys. They are well featured in the Hanson movie above, including interviews with the leadership in Ottawa. All of the impetus to do this to them came from the CAHN. All of it was lies. Again, this is as much an indictment of the Canadian “Conservative” party as it is the Liberals, as one expects this from the Liberals.

At no point did the Parliament of Canada attempt to make ANTIFA a terrorist group as they did the Proud boys, even though ANTIFA is in fact a terrorist group by any rational definition, and the Proud Boys merely defended Canadians from ANTIFA.

The details:

The Parliamentary Motion (January 26, 2021)
The Canadian House of Commons passed a non-binding motion calling on the government to designate the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity.
This motion was passed unanimously by unanimous consent (no recorded vote needed, as no one objected).
The Actual Designation (February 3, 2021)
The final decision to add the Proud Boys to Canada’s list of terrorist entities was made by the federal government(specifically Public Safety Minister Bill Blair under the Trudeau government), not by a parliamentary vote.
This was an executive action under the Criminal Code, not a vote in Parliament.
There was no parliamentary vote on the actual listing itself.
So while the symbolic motion in the House of Commons was unanimous, the legal designation of the Proud Boys as a terrorist entity was a government decision, not a parliamentary vote requiring unanimity.

Once again we see that the Conservative Party of Canada is a Potemkin veneer of Canadian values and more a lubricant to the communist revolution than an opponent of it.

The following is a replay of an ’emergency discussion’ on the legislation in Canada called bill C-9.

There is a great deal of information out there on this. We ourselves have done interviews with John Carpay on this, the head of the JCCF which is one of the last remaining effective individual rights law firms in Canada. And in this meeting video below, the concerns are addressed which one would expect. Also a new issue has appeared. The state appears to be limiting debate on it. Clearly the state wants this legislation to pass quickly and with as little discussion as possible. Knowing the dialectically named, ‘Conservative’ Party they will probably get their way.

We have our own analysis on this. But first, the meeting video:

John Carpay on this and other authoritarian bills from October 3rd, 2025

The following is essentially stream of consciousness and going from memory. There will be errors in the details. But the thesis is not dependant on the accuracy of each detail.

Some years ago, hate-speech legislation was passed in Canada.

Here are the specifics and sequence of events that I think add a proper perspective to this issue:

  • 2004–2005: The Liberal government of Paul Martin introduced Bill C250, adding sexual orientation to the hate-propaganda sections of the Criminal Code.

  • 2004: Stephen Harper (then opposition leader) supported an amendment clarifying that expressing opinions based on religious texts would not by itself constitute hate propaganda.

  • June 2004: Bill C-250 passed Parliament, extending existing hate-propaganda law protections to sexual orientation.

““For greater certainty, no person shall be convicted of an offence under this section solely for expressing or attempting to establish by argument an opinion on a religious subject.””

Was the exception clause.

Frankly I am not 100% sure how this fits in. The real issue is that Muslims in Canada break existing hate speech laws EVERY DAY and no charges ever happen. In the exceptionally important movie, made by a Danish American film maker, Michael Hanson, he interviews a Montreal Islam watcher, Marc Lebuis, who attempted to take an Imam who was blatantly inciting hatred against Jews, women, non-Muslims in written and published, spoken in public sermons and broadcast on the internet forms to the Quebec Human Rights Commission. Not even a real court! Just the HRC and they refused to take the case.

“Islamophoboes” though…

So anyone who thinks more hate speech legislation will make ANYTHING better should go back to their Hopium pipes. These laws are to destroy what little liberty the rest of us have.

A natural tyranny from mass immigration

There is of course, political imposed tyranny. This site writes about it constantly, whether it be from Islam or communism. But there is also a more, let’s say ‘natural’ form of tyranny. And that would be the logical consequence of increased population within an area, and from increasingly diverse groups of people. The result has to be the imposition of more and more restrictions, laws and regulations on how we may live. This will encompass every single aspect of our lives and the choices we make. It will also explain why we will collectivize the rain, making it illegal to collect rain water for your later use.

As a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s you could let your dog out of the house whenever it asked to go out and the dog would return home when it wanted, after living its best life out there in the daytime visiting people and other dogs and generally having a pretty good time. Now and again, people would step in dog poo. But it wasn’t that often.

Eventually the population of people and dogs grew till that was impractical. Pooper Scooper laws were created and special areas became designated as off leash areas for dogs. (Those will disappear soon as well, as will the ability to have a dog, More on that in a bit.)

As you increase the population density, noise will become more of a problem. Parties, playing instruments, watching movies will become more and more restricted as to how and when you can do them. As those groups grow in diversity, what offends people near you will also be an issue. One apartment building at least in Ottawa had to stop having BBQs for the residents because a single Muslim tenant was upset that the meat was not halal, or that there may be pork as one of the offerings. The choices were, make everything halal or don’t do it at all. The Islamic call to prayer though, from mosque loud speakers all over every major city will of course be tolerated under religious freedom, while any attempt to stop it or cover it with something else will be a form of hate speech. Also, getting rid of pet dogs and for the same reason, although the CO2 narrative attack will most certainly also be used to justify disallowing pets.

Clearly one of the reasons for the mass importation of people to Western nations is to create this exact outcome.

It is not because of helping ‘climate refugees’. Here’s why:

So we know they are lying about the reason for mass immigration. Mind you we know the state is lying about everything, even when they fake-leak a truth out there and knock it down as a conspiracy theory then it turns out to be true. But knowing they are lying is actually knowing a lot.

One of the conspiracy theories the state knocked down as a dangerous right wing conspiracy theory till it was revealed as actual policy, was the concept of the 15 minute city.

The 15 minute city was a solution in need of a problem. There is simply zero need for it in Canada, unless the real intention is control of the population. The 15 minute city, no matter how safe and effective they tell you it is, or how peaceful a system it is, or how all the planes will fall out of the sky if we don’t do it, should be compared to CBDCs. In other words, CBDC is related to real money, in the same way that the 15 minute city is related to a natural way for humans to live and develop their options through architecture and resources.

The clear reason for mass immigration is to create the need for 15 minute cities. It is to enslave the population, remove as many individual rights as possible, force the public to abandon any sense of identity that they previously had, submit to moral and cultural norms that are anathema to a Western Judeo-Christian/Greco-Roman civilization, and in essence exist with no communal culture making the state the only authority in our lives.

Below: The Century Initiative meeting from 2024 with one of the architects of 15 minute cities for Toronto. It is important to get rid of cars so that we can see inside the dry cleaner’s window. We are told.

We shall see how Alberta deals with the 15 minute city project. It will go a long way to determining how they will proceed in terms of becoming a free and independent polity.

Communist-Islamic activist who linked Israel to killing of George Floyd, invited guest speaker at St. Thomas U, Fredricton New Brunswick [Guest post]

Tariq Ali, a well known political activist who identifies as British, has been invited to speak at the University of St. Thomas in the Canadian Atlantic province of New Brunswick.

Ali claims to have written 50 books on history.

Here are a couple of Ali’s on the record statements:

in May 2016 Mr. Ali is reported as having stated that “…the annihilation of Israel would greatly benefit both Palestinians and Israelis…” and that “…antisemitism is a result of the creation of a Jewish state, and once Israel is wiped off the map, antisemitism will disappear

University of London Panel Calls for Annihilation of Israel as Solution to Global Antisemitism

A “perspective” from an outspoken supporter of a recognized terrorist entity under Canadian law calling for the annihilation of Israel and suggesting that antisemitism has somehow only existed since the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 will only serve to inflame and divide, rather than to educate and inform. The result will be to make the St. Thomas campus (as well as the UNB campus) an unsafe and unwelcoming space for Jewish students, staff, and faculty and many other people, and may also impact the Fredericton Jewish community at large.

Accordingly, we are deeply disappointed that the lecture will proceed. That said, we expect that the University and the AHRC will put vigorous safeguards in place to ensure the safety of those who may attend the lecture and question Mr. Ali, as well as mechanisms to monitor antisemitism on campus after the lecture. Based on my personal experience at the Dr. Yossi Olmert lecture at STU in March 2009, as well as at innumerable events across Atlantic Canada since that time, pro-Israel speakers consistently face unchecked (and often extreme) hostility and aggression from anti-Israel activists when expressing their opinion on the Israel-Palestinian conflict – which is entirely contrary to the notion of academic freedoms and informed debate and discussion we aspire to.

100 Synagogues and Jewish institutions get bomb threats

THIS is a crime. Not a hate crime, a crime and a large scale one. Any judge worthy of dry cleaning his robes would factor in motive to the sentence should the state bother to track this down and lay appropriate charges.

Montreal synagogues on Canada-wide list of threatened Jewish institutions

Montreal police (SPVM) says at least a dozen synagogues in Montreal are on a list of more than 100 places of worship across Canada that received a threatening email Wednesday morning.

The force received a 911 call at 7:10 a.m. about the email, which was received at 5 a.m., and officers are currently onsite at Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff on Harrow Crescent in Hampstead.

So far, the force says it has not found any reasonable threat.

“The premise was checked inside and outside. No threats were found, nothing was found,” said Montreal police spokesperson Sabrina Gauthier. “We will complete an analysis of the email.”

Rabbi Michael Whitman tells CTV News that morning services were halted at 6:30 a.m. following the threats. About 15 people were evacuated from the building.

Whitman says synagogue members will receive updates on the situation. For now, he says the institution remains open.

Gauthier confirms officers are also checking for potential threats at other Jewish establishments across the city.

The force says it is consulting with its hate crime squad, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is now in charge of the investigation.

As usual reading CTV, the reader is forced to decode it to try and figure out WTF it actually means. How do police search for “a threat” exactly. CTV in fact does not include materials that they clearly are likely to have had at the time of publication. Materials like this:

I believe the hospitals were entirely Jewish ones. But can’t confirm that from the RCMP tweets. I wonder why that is. They also seem to make moral equivalence between all faith based leaders, as if for instance, hypothetically mosques had all been targeted, or if Islam had any actual hospitals, they were targeted.

Growing up Christian in an Islamic State, and the rationale behind the Pro-Life movement

Watching a talk given by Campaign Life’s astonishingly good speaker to Action for Canada, Ruth Robert in Ottawa May 17th, there was a couple of surprises.

Firstly, it is that she is such a profoundly reasonable and knowledgeable person on the subject of abortion. Although deeply religious, her approach to the issue shows wisdom beyond her years. Or at least beyond what her years appear to be.

The second surprise was that she grew up Christian in an Islamic State governed by Sharia law, and she built some of that experience into her talk on the issue of abortion in Canada. She was so knolegable, we just had to ask a couple of questions about it, one in the Q&A of her presentation, which we present here also as a separate video, and an interview with her about that aspect of her life.

Whatever your views on abortion, and they are likely as varied as the readership itself, this is a worthwhile presentation on the issue. And as a person living in a Western land under invasion by Islamic migration, her warning to you needs to be remembered and spread.

Ruth was one of the speakers at the press conference on the March for Life by Campaign Life Coalition in early May. And yes, it was raining a lot at the presser.

Here are a couple of the videos from the march itself:

A few scenes from the actual gathering on the hill before the march through downtown by several thousand people. Possibly as many as eight or nine thousand.

I should say that overall the counter-demo was well behaved and very small. Maybe 100 people and mostly polite, at least by demonstration standards and some of the signage was clever and worthy of consideration. This is often not the case. ANTIFA sometimes shows up to counter these demonstrations and seeks attention by projecting critical theory attacks and tantrum like behaviour as much as possible. These people were probably too busy demanding the extermination of Israel to come to this event this year. So the counter-demo people who did show by and large were actually relatively decent. One woman decided to go topless for some reason, and a very tall person had silver face-paint and a fantasy costume of some kind, but the rest were OK. Personally I didn’t see a lot of insults or invective directed at the marchers. NDP Leader Jagmeet Sing was standing with them but at the back and it was hard to get video of him.

The march itself was amazing to watch as it always is. A large group of people indeed although over represented by Catholics and Catholic organizations, including a kind Catholic version of the Boy Scouts. A timely group now that the Boy Scouts themselves are anything but. Never having been to a meeting all we can know is they changed their name to avoid the word “Boy” and it would be an easy bet to make that they teach about ‘toxic masculinity”.

For those who were there, they will know that the general atmosphere of the March for Life is unlike any of the Soros funded or anti-West critical theory attacks on our civilization we have gotten used to in the past decade. These are, agree with them or not, kind, loving people who want the best for all people. Their intentions are clear. And they do have a point.

Islam in Canada continues to command its followers to destroy, humiliate, annihilate the unbelievers

Just in case anyone forgot what they actually believe, and some plant to carry out, as he himself exposes with his reference to Samual Patty

 

The greater danger here is that this imam, who has been well known for quite some time for this kind of rhetoric, authentic islam or not, exposes the state for its dialectical use of the concept of hate speech. If this person does not get arrested and charged with a crime for incitement or hate speech or whatever else, but a guy who makes a joke about a fake country for freedom people going from Alaska to Florida I think it was, goes to jail for months and in solitary confinement, then hate speech has as much to do with preventing speech against a group of people as BLM does for protecting black people from discrimination. Both are fascist weapons against the system overall.

(It’s always too early to speculate on the nature of the motivations when it isn’t supportive of the narrative. Remember the school girl who claimed an “Asian” cut her hijab on the way to school? CBC had a crew there in 20 minutes and Trudeau condemned the “white supremacist racist nature” of the event within hours. And of course the whole thing was a hoax. Never happened. She was probably coached to say, “Caucasian” and only remembered “Asian”.)

Charges laid against man after worshippers at Ontario mosque attacked with bear spray

A man is facing several charges after police say worshippers at a mosque in Mississauga, Ont., were attacked with bear spray in what authorities believe was a “hate-motivated incident.”

Someone walked into the Dar Al-Tawheed Islamic Centre, near McAdam Road and Matheson Boulevard East, early Saturday and discharged bear spray toward people while brandishing a hatchet, according to Peel Regional Police. Some members of the mosque tackled and subdued a suspect.

Mohammad Moiz Omar, 24, was charged with assault with a weapon, administering a noxious substance with intent to endanger life or cause bodily harm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, uttering a threat to cause death or bodily harm, carrying a concealed weapon and mischief to religious property.

Some people suffered “minor injuries” from the bear spray, police said.

The Toronto District School board, which long time readers of this site may remember from such stories as the Mosqueteria, where boys are in the front, girls behind, and menstruating girls right at the back, now have banned a book by a woman who was kidnapped and made into a sex slave by the Islamic State because factually stating the motives for her treatment, may cause rational fear for those motives. AKA “Islamophobia”.

This site has monitored quite a history of submission to Islam by a public school board, Specifically the Toronto District School Board.

This latest breach of reality and freedom not just of speech, but freedom for an oppressed woman to speak of her own personal experience is a powerful milestone of the degradation of Canadian culture, law and society.

Gotta click through for the comments. Canadians are far less ignorant about Islam than they were in the 90s. Ill put a screen grab here as its a dead cert Youtube or the uploader will close comments soon. Either that or they are going to use the truth in the comments for evidence of the need for the removal of freedom of speech to protect islam.
