Cologne: Merkel Bollards Lettered “Do Not Be Afraid”

With Christmas approaching, the allahu akbarriers in front of Cologne Cathedral were lettered with  “Do not be afraid!” (Fürchtet euch nicht, Luke 2:10), in large letters early Friday morning.

We reported yesterday that the City of Cologne will hand out a “respect” wristband to each New Year’s Eve visitor.

Every German knows the line “Do not be afraid”, Fürchtet Euch nicht, from the popular German (originally Czech/Bohemian) Christmas Carol “Kommet, ihr Hirten”, Come Ye Shepherds.

A dispute broken out between Cardinal Woelki’s domradio, who think the bollard message is a wonderful idea, and the city council spokeswoman who finds it in rather poor taste.

15.12.2017 COLOGNE. A christmas message, applied without permission, angers the city council. Friday morning, the employees of a close-by advertising agency had applied the phrase “Do not be afraid” in white letters on the barriers. “This is thoughtless and a nuisance”, a city spokesman said upon our enquiry. The pollards were an unfortunate necessity, and they would remove the letters.

But advertising agency chief Sebastian Hebler says “We see a scaring signal in the bollards”. They wanted to alleviate people’s fears with the message. The bollards were erected just shortly ago, to protect from terror attacks. (dpa)

Hamburg: Iranian Kills Wife In Front Of Their 1 Year Old Daughter

A 35-year old Iranian was found today before noon by police officers in her own apartment, gravely injured. She succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter in the hospital. The homicide division (LKA 41) is leading the investigations.

According to the current state of investigations, a 43-year-old Iranian rang his neighbor’s doorbell, handed his daughter to the neighbor, and asked to call the police.

The arriving police officers then found a gravely injured woman in the apartment of the Iranian. She was immediately taken to hospital, but there, succumbed to her injuries shortly after.

The 43-year-old who is the suspect was found injured, too. He was taken to hospital to treat his inuries as an in-patient. There, he is under police surveillance. His injuries are not life threatening.

For the time being, it is yet unclear in which relationship the victim stood with the suspect.

After first investigations, both were living together with their mutual daughter in the apartment in Hamburg-Bramfeld.

The 1-year-old child was taken into custody and is taken care of by the crisis intervention team of the German Red Cross.

The investigations of the LKA 41, especially into the backgrounds of the deed and the course of events, are ongoing.

Erdogan Arming Up Turks in Germany Via A Confidant

Stuttgart – A close confidant of Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan finances firearm acquisitions of the rocker-like group Osmanen Germania Boxclub. Joint investigations of our newspaper and the ZDF political magazine Frontal21, based on wire tap conversations and observation, and the findings of German security authorities that both magazines have obtained, prove this. Investigators document how Metin Külünk, close friend of Erdogan, and deputy of the Turkihs government party AKP, several times handed over money, or had it handed over, to leading members of the Osmanen. From this money, fully automatic guns like machine guns were acquired, according to Külünk’s instructions.

Additionally, Külünk organized, in close collusion with Erdogan and the Turkish foreign minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu, protests in Germany against the Armenia resolution by the Bundestag on June 2, 2016. In a phone conversation on June 1, 2016, at 10:21 PM, the Turkish premier reserved the right to personally decide about the continuation of planned protests in Berlin, and to promptly give Külünk new instructions. Osmanen members were involved in the protests in Berlin against the Bundestag’s disputed decision.

Külünk had the former Mannheim chief of UETD (Union of European-Turkish Democrats, a EU-wide lobby group – translator), Yilmaz Ilkay Arin, request the Osmans to punish ZDF host Jan Böhmermann for his smear poem about Erdogan. Böhmermann was warned, put under police protection, and had to leave Germany for several weeks.

Neither Arin nor Külünk reacted to our enquiries.

In phone calls, Arin summoned Turks living in Germany to arm up. He was able to provide „clean“ guns, and additionally, had an ammunition dump. The lawyer of the former Osman-chief Mehmet Bagci said that it was not possible for him to discuss our catalogue of questions within six days with his client who is currently in custody for other allegations.

Targets for attacks by the Osmanen Germania Boxing Club are, according to investigators, Kurds who live in Germany, and critics of the Turkish premier. Külünk summoned his compatriots in phone calls to “hit” Kurds “over the head with sticks” and film it and provide the videos to the Turkish state. The videos then were to be used to “deter” possible critics of Erdogan.

Germany: Diapers in the Kiddie Pool on Women’s Bathing Day

The women’s bathing day in the Vahrenwalder Bath is getting out of kilter. Bathing guests enter the pool fully dressed. The bath’s female employees aren’t able to assert themselves. The town is considering counter measures.

Hannover. The weekly women’s’ bathing day in the Vahrenwalder Bath is causing massive ripples. Hundreds of guests, allegedly, enter the non-swimmer-pool in Jeans and ignore other hygiene regulations too. They ignore the female employees’ warnings, even threaten the public servants. The employees now turned to the city administration. This is what sports’ department head Konstanze Beckedorf has just reported in the confidential part of the sports’ committee, according to information that HAZ obtained. The municipal politicians were stunned and demanded that the bathing regulations must be respected.

The city’s administration is officially answering the HAZ’s enquiry that the problem is known, and that currently, meaningful measures are discussed. „The cancellation of the women’s’ bathing day is not an option“, says city spokesman Ulrike Serbent.

Each Friday, the Vahrenwalder Bath is open for women only between 5PM until 9PM. Mothers can also bring boys up to the age of three. The women’s bathing day is, by all accounts, welcomed particularly by Muslimas. Now, numerous problems surface. Women enter the pool in street clothes, and dye their hair in the non-swimmer section. They enter the sauna in street clothes, too. Diapers are thrown into the paddle pond, dustbins used as toilets. Sometimes the women are having picnics at the poolside.

The female employees of the bath are now anxious. If they remind the bathing guests to adhere to the rules, this often prompts massive arguing. Some guests threaten to fetch their husbands and brothers. Allegedly, the bath’s employees have issued house bans for people, but these are being ignored. The female employees have now complained to the bath’s administration.

According to HAZ information, the administration is considering to position security staff at the entrance. Further, they consider employing a male pool supervisor, if necessary. The city intends to better regulate the influx of visitor on women’s’ bathing day in the future, and to prevent the pool from getting overcrowded. The majority of the town’s politicians welcome the planned measures. Abandoning the women’s bathing day should just the last resort, is the opinion heard from the politicians.

It is not the first time that there are problems at the women’s bathing day. In 2005, guests reported that women were getting into the pool fully dressed. The city administration denied this and called it rumors.

I can tell you from my own experience as a pool supervisor 20 years ago that an above-average number of muslim co-citizens do not adhere to the rules. Violent assaults were business as usual, theft, house bans, police actions.

It’s not good to defame other bathing cultures like that. Where is the problem when someone enters the pool with fresh and clean street clothes? The pool has got an efficient filter system, and the water is chlorinated. We should have more consideration, and maybe simply join in the picnic at the poolside.

When the officers wanted to establish the identity of the duo from Cameroon, the 20-year-old and his 30-year-old female companion refused to identify themselves to the officers. On the way to the official vehicle, the young man dropped to the ground, resisted the police, and struck at the officers. Upon this, his 30-year-old companion began screaming loudly, and stripped down completely naked in public. While the officers were handcuffing the 20-year-old, she squirted breast milk from her breasts onto the officers.

After the officers managed to calm down the situation they were able to establish the identity of the two persons. The officers opened investigations for obtaining services surreptitiously. The 20-year-old will have to answer for resisting officers. An investigation for battery is opened against his 30-year-old female companion. Germany: Creepy Activists Stalk AfD’s Björn Höcke

Self-proclaimed “performance artists” install what they claim is a copy of Berlin Holocaust Memorial vis-a-vis AfD politician Björn Höcke’s private house.

Wednesday, left activists have erected what they claim is a local version of the Berlin Holocaust Memorial made of concrete stones (but is in fact, according to police, papier-mâché boxes) next to the private house of AfD politician Björn Höcke.

According to F.A.Z., the activists announced that they had covertly rented the property next to Höcke’s house almost a year ago, and that they had been monitoring and observing him 24/7 ever since. If Höcke would get on his knees before the memorial in Berlin, or before their “version”, they would cease to surveil him. As for now, according to Die Welt, they were looking for more staff to surveil him.

Björn Höcke became the hate figure of the mainstream media when in a speech in January 2016, he called the Berlin Holocaust Memorial a ‘Monument to Shame’. Even in their gleeful article today, Der Spiegel fail to mention that it was their very own founder Rudolf Augstein who coined that expression for the Memorial. The press also does not care that Höcke clarified that he wasn’t criticizing the memorial, but that he, in his words, “characterized the Holocaust — the genocide of Jews by Germans — as a disgrace for our people. And I said that we Germans installed a monument to this still unfathomable crime — this guilt — in the middle of Berlin.” (Down the Rabbit Hole With the AfD, Gates of Vienna, Feb. 23, 2017).

Interestingly, the leftist activists here aren’t ashamed of (ab)using the memory of this terrible crime in a cheesy mis en scene, for the very mundane aim to attack a politician they hate.

The activists call themselves “center for political beauty” and have been campaigning for years to bring in more refugees.

A look at the AfD’s results in the recent elections explains why Höcke in Thuringia, Thüringen (dark blue, in the center) is a main target, and not a prominent AfD figure from, say, Schleswig-Holstein (top):

Large-Scale Raids in Germany: Six “Refugee” IS Fighters Arrested For Preparing Attack on Christmas Market

According to Focus, they have learnt from investigator circles that the arrested suspects were photographing rubbish bins, installed at hip height, on Kennedyplatz, where the Christmas Market will open soon. Investigators think this means the suspects intended to plant explosive devices in the rubbish bins. The suspects were also scouting the Limbecker Platz shopping mall and the nearby Rathaus-Galerie mall.

According to Hessenschau, data storage devices, mobile phones and laptops, and documents were seized. The investigators also found city maps of Essen with the Christmas Market location marked.

During large-scale raids in several German states on Tuesday, six alleged members of the Jihadist militia IS were arrested. They are suspected of having been preparing “an attack with weapons or explosives on a public target in Germany”, the General Prosecution Frankfurt announced.

The suspects accordingly planned an attack on the Christmas Market Essen, Hessischer Rundfunk Hessische Rundfunk learned from sources among the investigators. The plans for the attack were not yet completed. According to „Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger“ they probably planned an attack on a shopping mall in Essen.

As the „Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger“ (Wednesday edition) learned from sources among the investigators, one of the men, a 20-year-old asylum seeker, together with other persons, has been taking photographs of the shopping centre Limbecker Platz, Essen, shortly ago. The men pretended they were students of architecture. While they carried out this operation, they were allegedly already being observed by the authorities. The investigators became suspicious, as already in March, there was a terror threat to this shopping centre in downtown Essen. It remained close for several days. It is still not clear who was behind the threat.

These information are yet to be officially confirmed.

Police arrest six Syrians
The investigations are concerning six Syrians between 20 and 28 years old. Four of them are in Germany since December 2014, and two came as asylum seekers late summer 2015.

They are suspected to be members of a foreign terrorist organization and of preparing a grave subversive act of violence.

At the early Tuesday morning raid, 500 officers of the Hessian Land Office of Criminal Investigations and other police stations searched eight apartments in Kassel, Hannover, Essen and Leipzig. The authorities declined to specify more details.

Suspects entered Germany as Refugees
Welt first reported about the anti terror raid in several German states. Accordingly, hints by refugees led the investigators on the tracks of the six men. They had come, using false identities, as civil war refugees to Germany.
The witnesses stated that the men had been fighting for the terror militia IS in Syria. Investigations showed that the men had contact to each other and had radical-Islamic convictions, says the report.

Germany: Syrian “Youths” Trash Store, Attack Detective

Essen – As Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reports, Sunday evening, seven Syrian “youths” vandalized a store in the mall of the Essen train station.

Two detectives of the Tchibo store noticed how outside the store, a group of “youths” were harassing a woman.

They told the youths to behave. Upon this, the youths bolted into the store, knocked down display stands, and tore out shelves, to attack with them the detectives.

Two plainclothes policemen who were patrolling the train station came to help and called reinforcement. In the end, two dozen police officers were needed to overpower the adolescents. One detective had to be taken to hospital.

The seven young Syrians who are between 13 and 18 years old were released from custody later the same day. One of them was carrying a knife on him. Federal Police are investigating for damage of property, battery, grievous battery, and breaching the peace of the land.

Germany: FDP Abort Coalition Negotiations, Merkel Plunges Into Crisis

This pushes Merkel into the deepest crisis of her 12 year career.

Berlin: „It is better not to govern, than to govern wrong“, said FDP chief Christian Lindner to the press around midnight local time.

Angela Merkel “deeply regrets” the FDP’s decision to abort negotiations.

Angela Merkel said in the early Monday morning hours that she deeply regretted the FDP’s decision. She still believed that it would have been possible to find a compromise with the Greens on the controversial topic of refugees.

But FDP chief Christian Lindner said that, while it would have been possible to find common grounds with the CDU (Merkel) and CSU, the differences between FDP and Greens were just irreconcilable.

The central contentious point was until Sunday night the topic of migration [i.e. refugees]. CSU and FDP demand a curb of migration, while the Greens oppose that and demand (on top of that) “family reunification” for hundreds of thousands of Syrians in Germany.

The only possible scenario remains a so-called “minority government” with either CDU and the Greens or CDU and the FDP. Such scenario would represent barely 40% of the voters. A “Minority Government” needs permission by the other Factions though. Observers think it is virtually impossible that Merkel would risk this.

Unhappy With Accommodation: Refugee “Youths” Demolish Hostel and Police Car

Germany – Unhappy with being placed in a small town, four Afghan refugees vandalized their accommodation with chains and wood laths. They then smashed the windshield of the arriving police car and fled into the nearby forest. There, a large police contingent was able to arrest the youths. The affected accommodation is a therapeutic living group for traumatized, under-aged refugees. It remains uninhabitable for the time being.

County Commissioner Josef Laumer and Member of Parliament Alois Rainer visited the refugee accommodation in Falkenfels.
FALKENFELS After four residents vandalized an accommodation for unaccompanied underaged refugees in the district Hirschberg of Falkenfels (Wochenblatt reported), a crisis summit was held. County Commissioner Josef Laumer and representatives of the operating society, of police, municipality, the office for youth and foreigners, and of the government of Lower Bavaria’s supervision for accommodations, discussed the current situation and determined the line of approach for the future.

In the meantime, the County Commissioner and the Member of Parliament Alois Rainer and Mayor Ludwig Ettl visited the scene.

„This must be prevented by all means in the future, and must not happen again“, said Laumer. „People in the village don’t feel safe anymore. But it is our job to be there for the people in our region. The protection of the public has got utmost priority for me. Therefore I pressed for the three main culprits not returning here. Not to reward them, but out of consideration for the locals’ fears and concerns. Besides, there are many points where we hope for help from Berlin.“

The rioters are four youths (15, 16) from Afghanistan. Three leaders of the gang won’t return to Hirschberg, the administrative district office announced. Besides, there will be a reworked „Crisis and Protection Concept“. Among others, the maximum occupancy in the institution will be six persons. At the time of the riot, seven youths were accommodated there, who had been sent from different youth welfare offices in Bavaria. The accommodation is designed for traumatized, and psychologically conspicuous young people, and is the sole therapeutic institution for underaged refugees in Lower Bavaria.

The executive director of the “Care Association 1:1 Social Partnership registered society“ who operates the accommodation raised eyebrows.
While police had initially estimated the property damage inside and on the building, and at the police car, with 20,000 Euros, the manager now quantified the damage as roughly 3,000 Euro. Wochenblatt have obtained further photo material from the havoc inside the accommodation, which remains uninhabitable. It remains open as to whether the institution will open in Hirschberg again, after the damage is fixed. The operating society announced to relocate the accommodation, as soon as “a suitable location is found elsewhere”, the County Commissioner said.
