Moscow bombings to “eliminate infidels” -Chechen leader

Yes the religion of peace has a rare moment of honesty. From STRATFOR:

March 31, 2010
Chechen militant leader Doku Umarov said in a video posted on Kavkaz Center Web site and YouTube on March 31 that he personally ordered the two suicide bombings in Moscow, BBC reported. Umarov, leader of the Islamist militants in Russia’s North Caucasus and self-proclaimed head of the “Caucasus Emirate,” described the attacks as special operations to “eliminate infidels and greet the Russian Federal Security Service.”

What a shame that even STRATFOR submits to the pungent bullshitery of the term ‘militant’ instead of terrorist.

This would appear to be his video taking credit for the attack on commuters in Moscow. Any Russian speakers who would care to translate please feel free to do so in the comments.

DarLink who has done several translations for videos, was kind enough to provide the translation for this one as well. Thank you very much DarLink. This is, as I’m Sure you know, very important and appreciated work.

Eeyore.

“This war will come to your each and every home.
It is already in your home.
And the trains that blow up today is only a beginning.
Your planes will be blown up.
The war will be waged on your streets.
We can promise you that.

That’s why I am telling you not to believe to the likes of Kashperovskiy and Chumak who sit there on TV
and fill your heads with lies.
Look at this watch dog here in Chechnya, what’s his name, Kabyrov.
What did he get from Russia, what your soldiers, who died here in Chechnya got? Those soldiers who are now cripples, those parents, whose children lost their life here – they are penniless, asking
for money on the streets. That’s what Kabyrov got you.
Look at HIS wealth. That what your soldiers are defending here, Kabyrov wealth and Putin’s.That’s it.You will see nothing of that money.
All they tell you about Chechnya is nothing but lies.
I,the commander of mujahadin of Kavkaz, I am the one overseeing Jihad, I am here in Chechnya, and all Jihad is managed from here.
You get a different picture , so you better crosscheck all the facts.
I want to ,once again , to prevent the blame to be put on us in the future, to warn you that this war is coming to you.
You better wake up, wake up.
If you cannot get the message through your ears, through your brain, you will get it through your blood..(something in Arabic)”

My condolences to our friends in Russia…..

I hope that you can show the rest of the world, a strategy that will succeed to end these kinds of attacks on cooperative civilization. Please enjoy this, a brilliant and succinct speech by America’s Col. Allen West now Congressional candidate speaking on Islam and how to identify an enemy.

Russia: Dozens killed in Moscow subway blasts

[kaltura-widget wid=”0_48ilo52c” width=”410″ height=”364″ addpermission=”3″ editpermission=”3″ /]

Moscow (CNN) — Explosions rocked a pair of central Moscow subway stations during morning rush hour Monday, killing at least 37 people and wounding 10 others, Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry said.

The first blast occurred about 8 a.m. at Lubyanka subway station. That explosion killed 14 people aboard the train and 11 on the platform.

The Lubyanka station is near the Kremlin and the nation’s intelligence service, the Federal Security Bureau.

Another blast happened about 30 minutes later at Park Kultury station, on the same train line. The Emergency Situations Ministry reported 12 dead in the second explosion. Russian TV said the blast killed 15 people.

Deadly explosions on Moscow Metro system

From BBC News:

At least 37 people are reported to have been killed in two explosions on the Metro system in central Moscow.

The first blast happened at the city’s central Lubyanka station killing 25, reports quoting security sources said.

A second explosion less than an hour afterwards happened at the Park Kultury station killing 12, Russian news agency Tass reported.

Ten people were injured in the first blast and 12 in the second, Tass said, quoting police and officials.

An emergencies ministry spokeswoman said that at Lubyanka 14 people were killed in the train and 11 on the platform.

“The blast hit the second carriage of a metro train that stopped at Lubyanka, at 0756 (0356 GMT),” Irina Andrianova said.

“There was no fire. Rescuers of the Moscow emergencies department and firefighters are now working at the site,” she added.

from STRATFOR:

According to STRATFOR sources in Moscow, the two locations of the attacks on the subway in the city are symbolic. The first attack in Park Kultury is symbolic in that it is one of the city’s cultural centers being located near Gorky Park. The second location of the attack at the metro station of Lubyanka is nearly under the Federal Security Bureau’s headquarters—former KGB headquarters—the security hub of Russia. According to media reports, the attacks were caused by suicide bombers at the peak of rush hour in Moscow. Thus far, rumors are flying that Muslim extremists are responsible for the attack. In the past, there have typically been spring-summer attacks in Moscow in February, and spring is just now arriving in the capital.

The headquarters of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), is located just above the station.

The second blast came about 40 minutes later, at 0838 (0438 GMT).

Saudis fund Balkan Muslims spreading hate of the West

TIMESONLINE… SAUDI ARABIA is pouring hundreds of millions of pounds into Islamist groups in the Balkans, some of which spread hatred of the West and recruit fighters for jihad in Afghanistan.

According to officials in Macedonia, Islamic fundamentalism threatens to destabilise the Balkans. Strict Wahhabi and Salafi factions funded by Saudi organisations are clashing with traditionally moderate local Muslim communities.

Fundamentalists have financed the construction of scores of mosques and community centres as well as handing some followers up to £225 a month. They are expected not only to grow beards but also to persuade their wives to wear the niqab, or face veil, a custom virtually unknown in the liberal Islamic tradition of the Balkans.

Government sources in traditionally secular Macedonia (official title the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia), said they were monitoring up to 50 Al-Qaeda volunteers recruited to fight in Afghanistan.

Classified documents seen by The Sunday Times reveal that Macedonian officials are also investigating a number of Islamic charities, some in Saudi Arabia, which are active throughout the Balkans and are suspected of spreading extremism and laundering money for terrorist organisations. This week’s “Tales from the ‘Freedom’ Files”

This week’s stories remind us once again of how ‘old fashioned’, rational thought is being replaced by ‘progressive’, irrational ideology. The Loony Left in its mission to create a better, more thoughtful world continues to cast aside what they consider the useless notions of public consultation, debate and majority consent in favour of their gentler, wiser, dictatorial approach. Initially we at vladtepesblog were reluctant to post these stories, as we felt they may provide more data for the social engineers of our cities to expand their role of government interference in our personal choices and anything else enjoyable. Quickly concluding they will rail on regardless, we got over it. Enjoy.

#1 From The U.K.  Council Shuts Down Art Club Claiming Children are ‘Too Middle-Class’. Paint Pots Arts Club, a children’s care centre for kids under five has been forced to close after council deemed the families using it were too middle-class. The Paint Pots Art Club, part of the Sure Start child care scheme introduced across Britain in 2000,  is one of the busiest centres catering to children of all backgrounds. But despite it’s popularity, Hackney Council in East London pulled the plug claiming not enough ‘deprived’ families were represented at the service. Officials concluded that 68% of all users were white and not sufficiently ‘vulnerable’. Paint Pots director Ella Ritchies was told by the Learning Trust to canvas both the Turkish and Kurdish communities and council estates to try to spark interest but most canvassed were not interested in attending. “Based on our monitoring information, the Art Club is not reaching the families who have the most difficult needs. Accordingly, I have to advise you that the contract for the Art Club will end March 31” said an official from the Ann Taylor Children’s Centre.

#2 From Canada.  Street Hockey Dad Fights Fine. More than 500 people have signed a petition to strike down a Montreal area West Island bylaw that forbids street sports, after a father was fined for playing hockey outside with his son and friends. David Sasson and his seven year old son were playing street hockey on a residential street in Dollard-des-Ormeaux when public security officers who patrol the neighbourhood issued Mr. Sasson a $75 fine resulting from a noise complaint. ” That’s the way we have worked all these years” said acting Mayor Zoe Bayouk. The bylaw forbidding playing in the street has been in Dollard-des-Ormeaux since 1992. Mr. Sasson is fighting the fine and has since organized another game in protest.

#3 From Russia.  Russia Bans Hitler’s ‘ Mein Kampf”. Adolf Hitler’s book ” Mein Kampf” has been banned in Russia in an attempt to combat the growing allure of far-right politics. Prosecutors claim the 1925 semi-autobiographical book’s outline of racial supremacy has encouraged extremist and violent behaviour. Sova, a Moscow based non-governmental organization responsible for tracking racist violence, stated that 60 people were killed and 306 injured in hate attacks in Russia last year. The ban was initiated after a regional office of the prosecutor sought new ways to combat extremism. In 1950, George Orwell’s novel ” Nineteen Eighty Four” was banned by the Soviets as Stalin believed it to be a satire based on his leadership and was not re-released and legalized until 1990 after extensive ‘editing’. William Gray’s novel ” Fun With Dick and Jane” also seized, remains on the banned list due to it’s pro-American content. (In 2009, Reporters Without Borders ranked Russia 153 out of 175 in the Press Freedom Index. According to International Press Institute, Russia is the most dangerous European country for journalists).

#4 From The U.K. School Bans Photographs of Pupils. West Community College in Watford, Herts has informed the parents of attending pupils that new restrictions would be put in place banning photographs being taken of students. The letter said in order to ‘safeguard’ pupils, parents, carers and friends could no longer photograph or videotape school events including sport days, drama plays and school trips. The school is thought to be the first in the country to apply such a blanket ban. School officials cite the necessity of the measure to protect students from ‘on-line exploitation’ and ‘ the threat of cyber-bullying’. Camera equipment will be prevented from being taken onto school grounds. The decision had been made after pictures of children were used inappropriately online, resulting in legal action taken against schools. The letter concluded by saying “I appreciate that you may be upset by this decision but hope you will understand the need for the school to protect the safety of our students at all times”.

#5 From The U.K.  Five Year Old Boy Left Stranded in Tree Due to Health and Safety Policy; Good Samaratin Reported to Police. A mischievous five year old boy climbed a school tree and soon found himself unable to climb back down leaving him stranded. Following health and safety guidelines, teachers at Manor School in Melksham, Wiltshire are banned from helping and, retreated inside the school to ‘observe from a distance’ so the child would not become distracted and fall. The boy was only rescued when passer-by Kim Barrett noticed the child and helped him down herself. But instead of being thanked for her good deed, the headteacher reported her to police for trespassing. The associate head “didn’t appear to be at all concerned” said Ms. Barrett. Headteacher Beverly Martin confirmed the school’s policy which prevents staff from going to the aid of children who have climbed trees. ” The safety of our pupils is our priority and we would like to make it clear that this child was being observed at all times”. To protect children, we cannot assume that people who enter school grounds without permission have innocent intentions and (we) must act accordingly. I am sure these expectations are the same in every school and are centered on children’s well being”.

…..And the story we almost forgot to mention……..
“Watch Your Mouth Ann”. University of Ottawa tells right-wing, American pundit Ann Coulter to watch her mouth urging her to use ‘restraint’, ‘respect’ and ‘consideration’ during one of a trio of speaking engagements booked at Canadian university campuses. Vice president and provost Francoise Houle advised Coulter via e-mail to ‘inform herself of Canadian hate speech and defamation laws’ before giving her talk. Days later her speaking engagement was canceled. Blame is abundant on all sides of the Coulter incident; police  and university officials say it was the event’s organizers who shut it down and event organizers said it was police warnings of anti-Coulter demonstrators claiming they could not guarantee her safety. But after sifting through the mess, one things is abundantly clear as The National Post points out in an editorial of March 25:
” It matters little who is correct (both could be). The true cause is the same either way: angry left-wing students and protesters who cannot bear the idea of people they dislike having a say”. It was not Ms. Coulter’s controversial views that forced the cancellation. Nor, in the end, was it any specific action by politically correct university administrators. Rather it was the potential for violence from the crowd outside that silenced her, which sets a very dangerous precedent for free speech in this country”.
” Universities used to fight vigorously for the free expression of ideas, all sorts of ideas, even discomforting and controversial ones. Now they seem to stick up only for those ideas backed up by the promise of anger, violence and vandalism”. Indeed, a triumph for thuggery over scholarship.

Russia moves towards West on Iran

Blomberg: From business week,

Russia Signals Unity With West After Iranian Rocket Launch

Feb 4 2010

By Lucian Kim

Feb. 4 (Bloomberg) — Russia is moving closer to the West on how to deal with Iran’s nuclear program following a rocket launch by the Islamic republic, said Konstantin Kosachyov, the head of the foreign relations committee of Russia’s lower house of parliament.

“Mutual understanding between Russia and its international partners on additional sanctions has clearly improved,” Kosachyov said in an interview with state broadcaster Rossiya 24 today. “The situation is beginning to alarm us increasingly.”

Iran fired a satellite into space yesterday at a ceremony attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The launch prompted Western concern that the rocket technology, like Iran’s nuclear program, could have military applications. Iran maintains it has only peaceful intentions.

Russia, a member of the six-country contact group with Iran, has made contradictory statements on the need for more United Nations economic sanctions. President Dmitry Medvedev has indicated a willingness to toughen the trade embargo, while Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has held off from new threats.

“What Iran is trying to do now raises concern because it’s classic dual-use technology,” said Kosachyov. Should Iran one day start producing nuclear warheads, the situation would be even more dangerous if the country had medium- and long-range missiles, he said. Continue Reading →

Newest Muslim conflict in WW3

Well, here is the newest Muslim-on-non-Muslim war in this global jihad. First, the Stratfor SITREP on it, then, some material from the CIA factbook on these 2 nations:

Armenia, Azerbaijan: Armenia Also Preparing for War?

January 25, 2010
Armenia has not ruled out a military solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said at a Jan. 25 speech at Yerevan State University. The declaration comes after the presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia met Jan. 25 in Sochi to discuss the peace proposals for the disputed region. It also comes as rumors of preparations for war are swirling in Baku. Though Azerbaijan publicly has discussed the possibility of war, Armenia has been relatively silent on the issue for some time now. With both sides now hinting at preparations, STRATFOR will be watching Moscow’s stance on the dispute and what influence Russia will exert to either prevent another conflict from breaking out or to try to contain such a conflict in a way that would allow further Russian influence over both parties.
This is well worth the read. Check the population and religions for these two nations. First Armenia:
Now, same numbers for Azerbaijan. Gotta love a flag that tells you so much. Like a not welcome sign.

Dagestan suicide bomb kills six police officers

BBCNEWS… A suicide bomb attack in Russia’s restive North Caucasus republic of Dagestan has killed six policemen and wounded 14 more, officials say.

The attacker tried to drive a truck loaded with up to 70kg of explosives into a traffic police station as officers were gathering, police say.

But his bomb was detonated when the car was rammed head on by police vehicle.

The sacrifice of the officers involved prevented an even worse tragedy, said the local police chief.

Wednesday morning’s attack in Dagestan’s capital Makhachkala was similar to a bombing in nearby Ingushetia last August that left at least 20 people dead, says the BBC’s Richard Galpin in Moscow.

The predominantly Muslim region has seen an increase in attacks by Islamist insurgents over the past year.

Russian forces have fought two wars against separatists in the mainly Muslim republic of Chechnya since 1994. The conflicts claimed more than 100,000 lives and left the region in ruins.

Chechnya has in recent years been more peaceful, but the fighting has spread to Dagestan and Ingushetia, where correspondents say a violent Islamist insurgency is growing.
