2. Wisconsin Governor Declares State Of Emergency Over Riots

Wisconsin Democrat Gov. Tony Evers declared a state of emergency Tuesday over the riots burning down businesses, destroying neighborhoods, and terrorizing communities in Kenosha and Madison.

After outlining recent events that protesters say justified taking to the streets this summer, such as George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody and Jacob Blake’s shooting by police in Kenosha, Evers celebrated Wisconsin protestors for having “taken a stand” against “systemic injustices,” before condemning the riots.

“Unfortunately, some individuals have deviated from peaceful protests and engaged in unlawful, harmful, and dangerous activities, including arson, which has endangered the lives of other protestors and bystanders, which cannot be tolerated,” said Evers.

Please tell us when and under what circumstances did you first became politically active, how would you describe your views, and which authors and thinkers influenced you the most?

I’m not really politically active; I just edit and write for a blog that posts some political content. Its primary focus is on the danger posed by Islam.

My late wife and I started the blog in October 2004. After I got laid off from my job in 2006, I became involved with it full-time.

I am a conservative with libertarian tendencies, without any allegiance to a political party. On the issue of Islam, I was greatly influenced by V.S. Naipaul (his book  Among the Believers) Srdja Trifkovic, and Maj. Stephen Coughlin. On more general political issues, I would cite Thomas Sowell and Mark Steyn as major influences.

Can you tell us a bit about your blog »Gates of Vienna? Its purpose, main topics, number of authors, and the story behind its name?

The mission of Gates of Vienna is to propagate reliable, comprehensive information about Islam and the Islamization of the West. In order to do this thoroughly, it has to deal with other cultural and political issues, in particular the Frankfurt School’s »long march through the institutions«, which is what has enabled and supported Islamization for the past fifty years.

I concentrate on Europe, because that’s where Islamization is the most advanced. France, the U.K., and Sweden are the farthest down the road towards becoming Islamic states. The authors at our blog were originally just my late wife and myself. However, we gradually accumulated a number of guest-posters and correspondents, including Fjordman, El Inglés, Seneca III, H. 7.  More evidence that teh CBC is enemy propaganda. Watch how the persecute a man and his wife for having anti-authoritarian views and quoting Thomas Jefferson!

Long time readers of this site might remember how Paul Weston was arrested and taken to jail for reading out loud from Winston Churchill’s book, The River Wars. This quote is far less problematic than that and Churchill was not problematic. His quote from the River Wars was his assessment of the nature of Islam with which many would agree. But CBC connected a member of the 3 percenters to other members who have racist sentiments to other groups they are not even part of! The sort of thing communist groups used to complain about as “guilty by association”. Notice how at the 1 minute mark they show a social media post with a quote: “When injustice becomes Law, rebellion becomes duty”.

This quote is widely attributed to Thomas Jefferson and although it does express much of his writing, it appears that it may not be literally from Jefferson. But this is:

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.

The point is, the three percenters are a libertarian, anti-authoritarian, and anti tyrannical organization. They are the militia that the US 1st Amendment specifically recommends. And the CBC defamation of one of its members and his wife, even by connecting them to Soldiers of Odin, (who indeed have as core principles racist ideas) is why the CBC must be defunded. In a free society, they should have the same right to broadcast as anyone else with their own money and resources. but the government funding them to over a BILLION a year and limiting competition with the CRTC (See how SUN TV was treated in the twenty teens) is a symptom of the kind of tyranny the threepers oppose. So I guess we can see why the CBC victimized these people.

9. Swiss Told to Integrate With Foreigners Because ‘Mass Migration Can’t be Stopped’

Swiss people need to take classes on integrating with foreigners in order to get used to “becoming a minority” in their own country, a sociologist has said.

Ganga Jey Aratnam, who migrated to Switzerland 25 years ago, told an interview with Tages-Anzeiger that mass migration to the Swiss nation “is a one-way street, there is no going back”.

Switzerland’s native people should let go of the country’s historic customs and traditions as its population is replaced and come to recognise “hyper-diversity” as the national culture, the Sri Lankan academic said, arguing that “Swiss culture is not lost, it is developing”.

Asked whether he recognised that such a transition might be “overwhelming” for naive Swiss people, Aratnam responded: “That’s why I think there should be integration courses for locals.”

“We already have integration courses for immigrants. That is a good thing. Such courses are also necessary for locals because they are slowly becoming a minority.”

According to figures from Brussels ministers Alain Maron and Elke Van den Brandt, the Belgian capital has three to four times more new cases of tuberculosis than the rest of the country, with asylum seekers especially affected.

Belgium’s average rate of the disease is 8.6 per 100,000 people but in Brussels, the rate is 29.5 cases per 100,000, with the city representing 36 per cent of all new tuberculosis (TB) cases in the country that year. The numbers have been steadily rising since 2014.

The data came at the request of MP Bianca Debaets, a member of the Christian Democratic and Flemish party (CD-V), who told the media: “Of course, an urban context always increases the risk of certain diseases, but the fact that a third of the cases reported in Belgium are concentrated in Brussels is significant.”

In an interview with Pakistani media channel Samaa TV on August 19 (Wednesday), Pakistan Minister Sheikh Rashid claimed that Pakistan has very calculated weapons which are small and perfect. 

He also stated that their weapons will only target regions as even Assam now comes within its range. Rashid also warned that Pakistan has no option in convention war and ‘if something will happen it will be the end’.

8. Girl, 17, is beaten and has her 2ft-long hair shaved off ‘by her Muslim parents, uncle and aunt’ as punishment for ‘being in love with a Christian boy’ in France

The parents, uncle and aunt of a teenager of Bosnian Muslim origin will face trial in France on charges of violence against a minor for shaving her head over her relationship with a Christian Serbian boy, prosecutors said Friday.

The girl had her 2ft-long hair shaven off and was also beaten in the eastern city of Besancon on Monday, judicial sources said.

‘Shaved and beaten because she ‘loved a Christian’. Deeply shocked by this act of torture on this 17-year-old girl,’ French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin wrote on Twitter.

‘This barbarity calls for the most severe punishment,’ he added.

Police detained the two parents as well as the uncle and the aunt. They were released under judicial control but are banned from contacting the girl, who has been placed under protection. They are not aware of her whereabouts.

They will be tried for ‘violence against minors’, deputy prosecutor Margaret Parietti told AFP.

7. To what degree is the New York Times, enemy propaganda? There was a MASSIVE protest in Germany by people who are sick of having their clear constitutional rights violated by government using the Wuhan Flu virus as the excuse for it. As I walked around the sun-dappled streets of Amsterdam, something felt strange in this world swept by fear and pandemic. 1. It turns out if protestors attack a Democrat, they will get caught and arrested.

Two women accused of assaulting a Wisconsin state senator as he took photos of a crowd that toppled two statues during a protest last month have been arrested, police said.

State Sen. Tim Carpenter, a Democrat from Milwaukee, was attacked in Madison on June 24 as he pointed his phone at a group of protesters who tore down two statues on Capitol grounds. He was repeatedly punched and kicked in the head and later required surgery for his wounds, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

“I don’t know what happened … all I did was stop and take a picture … and the next thing I’m getting five, six punches, getting kicked in the head,” Carpenter told the newspaper last month.

Two people within the “angry mob” that allegedly attacked Carpenter, identified by police as Samantha Hamer, 26, and Kerida O’Reilly, 33, both of Madison, surrendered to cops Monday. Both are now facing charges of substantial battery as a party to a crime and robbery with use of force as a party to a crime, police said Monday. […]

A nearby reporter told police roughly 10 people proceeded to kick and punch Carpenter as he “tried to explain” that he was an ally to the demonstrators, police said.

The assault took place just after a Molotov cocktail was tossed into a government office in Madison, where protesters also tore down two statues, including one of Col. Hans Christian Heg, an abolitionist who died while fighting for the Union in the Civil War.

(The statue they tore down was of an abolitionist, showing once again this is about Winston Smithism, not about historical treatment of Africans)

2. UBC sued for violating free speech, cancelling Andy Ngo speaking event

(Hark! Could this be good news?)

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) is suing the University of British Columbia for its cancellation of a speaking engagement by TPM editor-at-large Andy Ngo. A Petition for Judicial Review was filed Monday morning.

The event entitled “Understanding Antifa Violence” was organized by the Free Speech Club and was supposed to take place in January of 2020. The JCCF issued a press release that read:

“The Free Speech Club confirmed the Andy Ngo event booking with UBC, signed the contract and paid the required booking deposit. However, in December 2019, the UBC suddenly pulled the plug on the event without notice.”

JCCF lawyer Marty Moore said, “UBC cancelled the Ngo event in an arbitrary and secretive fashion, in violation of  its own commitments to respect ‘the right to freedom of expression’ and to uphold students’ and visitors’ right to ‘engage in full and unrestricted consideration of any opinion.’ It is unreasonable and unconscionable for a public institution to cancel an event on the basis that the speaker has been a victim of violence.”

It brings with it attempted intimidation, shame and the usual demands for ceremonies of public groveling.

It is happening in newsrooms in New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles. And now it’s coming for me, in an attempt to shame me into silence.

Here’s what happened:

Last week, with violence spiking around the country, I wrote a column on the growing sense of lawlessness in America’s urban areas.

In response, the Tribune newspaper union, the Chicago Tribune Guild, which I have repeatedly and politely declined to join, wrote an open letter to management defaming me, by falsely accusing me of religious bigotry and fomenting conspiracy theories.

Newspaper management has decided not to engage publicly with the union. So I will.

For right now, let’s deal with facts. My July 22 column was titled “Something grows in the big cities run by Democrats: An overwhelming sense of lawlessness.”
