6. BLM activist from Indiana admits to posing as black person, vows to ‘seek help’

Another “black” activist has admitted to being a white person.

Satchuel Cole, a community organizer for Black Lives Matter in Indiana, fessed up to the years-long ruse in a Facebook post last week — and vowed to “seek help.”

“Friends, I need to take accountability for my actions and the harm that I have done. My deception and lies have hurt those I care most about. I have taken up space as a Black person while knowing I am white. I have used Blackness when it was not mine to use. I have asked for support and energy as a Black person. I have caused harm to the city, friends and the work that I held so dear,” said Cole, 45, who was born a woman but identifies as non-binary.

“I am sorry for the harm I have caused. I am sorry for the hurt and betrayal. I will do what I can to show that I want to be a better person,” she wrote.

3. France Has Foiled at Least Six Terror Attacks in Recent Months

Jean-François Ricard, who heads the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat) has said French security services have foiled at least six terror plots in recent months.

Ricard spoke to French media on Monday, stating that the terrorist threat, particularly from radical Islamic extremists, remains high in France. He said that several French members of Islamic State remain free in Syria or have crossed the border into Turkey.

He added that some French former members of the terror group have returned to France and “set up new structures”. He also warned that there was a threat from mentally unstable individuals who may be influenced by radical Islamic rhetoric and ideology, L’Opinion reports.

Currently, there are believed to be around 250 Islamic radical French men and women in custody along the Iraqi-Syrian border area and around 300 children. At least 170 adults have returned to France, and Mr Ricard said all were being tried or had been tried by French courts.

The Covid rules are getting more and more strict, even as the CDC admits that their numbers are not as damning as we were all told by a very large margin. People in apartment buildings may face eviction if they don’t wear a mask as they pass through the halls and lobby of the building. As things are getting better in terms of this disease, and it seems like they were never close to as bad as we were told it would be, the rules and consequences of failure to obey get worse and worse.

On a related subject, talking with a friend of ours about South Africa, that nation now has electricity rationing. For several hours a day there is no power. If a person had the wit and wisdom to install solar panels in one of the countries where there is enough sun to justify that, they are forced to sell the power at a pittance to the State and then buy it back at an enormous margin. So in other words, you still don’t get to use your own power.

I cannot think of a better description for how communism works. Its a system for suffering and any work around to that system will be punished.

2. Head of police union demands Mayor de Blasio resign by ‘sundown’

As Mayor de Blasio prepared to get out of Dodge for the weekend, a police union boss issued a very “High Noon”-like ultimatum for him to quit by sundown.

“We need to hear you RESIGNED as Mayor of NYC,” Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins wrote on Twitter Friday in response to a post by de Blasio that trashed the 2020 Republican National Convention and the president on Twitter.

“We are WAITING. Only a few hours left until sundown. Give 8 million people a gift & quit. You ruined NYC, Save the City and step down,” Mullins wrote.

Earlier Friday, de Blasio — who was skewered at the closing night of the RNC Thursday by public housing residents, former mayor Rudy Giuliani and Police Benevolent Association president Pat Lynch — had tweeted his thoughts about the convention.

“What did we need to hear this week? Plans to fight COVID-19 and get Americans back to work. What did we hear? Lies about the greatest city in the world and one of the most diverse places on Earth.

5. UK Radical Preacher Abu Hamza Reportedly Sues US Over ‘Inhuman and Degrading’ Prison Conditions

(Anything short of being repeatedly flayed would be insufficiently inhuman conditions for what this guy did)

Radical Islamic preacher Abu Hamza al-Masri, a UK national of Egyptian origin, is suing US authorities over “inhuman and degrading” conditions and breaching his human rights at Colorado’s ADX Florence prison, where he is serving a life sentence for multiple terrorism-related offences, UK newspaper The Times reported on Saturday.

In a civil lawsuit filed against US Attorney General Willian Barr, Abu Hamza complains of “cruel and unusual conditions in prolonged, continuous, dangerous solitary confinement since 2012”, the year in which he was extradited from Britain to the US to stand trial for supporting the al-Qaeda* terrorist organization.

Convicted and sentenced in 2015 to life in prison without the possibility of parole, Abu Hamza also accused the US authorities of violating his human rights via a number of alleged wrongdoings, including disregarding his disabilities. […] 

The 62-year-old prisoner complained of being “religiously stressful”, as he has been forced to switch from a Muslim halal diet to a “kosher” as the Jewish meals are served on trays, he said are “easier to eat from”.
