Another ‘artistic’ gutless wonder pretends to be daring.

I guess necklines are as low as they can go and still be interesting and hemlines are as high as possible without being a final gynecology exam. So unimaginative talentless wonders have to mock the one faith they know actually won’t hurt them while pretending to be so very daring.

How banal.

Hell if you want to mock the Catholics just research transubstantiation and ask some tough questions. But this public ridicule in an age where everyone knows the Catholic church if it does anything tends to bring food and medicine to those in need and gives a staggering amount of freedom to its adherents in African nations where Islam and animism are the dreadful alternatives.

Breaking news Dreuz.info: CNN Israel fired four Jewish journalists

From Dreuz.info

9 février 2012 | Filed under: Divers,English,International,Israël,Moyen-Orient | Posted by:

Update at 8:30 PST: we just received the names of the four journalists that were fired:

Moshe Cohen, editor, fired on january 30, 10 years with CNN.

Izi Landberg, Producer, about 25 years with CNN, fired on January 30.

Avi Kaner cameraman fired on january 30, 10 years with CNN.

Michal Zippori desk producer, situation still unclear.

The media scandal that you are about to read was revealed to us by a totally reliable source.

It is likely to provoke a wave of shock and indignation within the North American media industry, and it certainly will not calm down the controversy over the pro-palestinian CNN treatment of the conflict.

We learned today that the Israeli branch of CNN, located in Jerusalem, is downsizing to cope with reduced income from less advertising.

What goes beyond good management is that CNN has fired four Israeli Jewish journalists (out of a crew of 8), and has retained only Arab journalists. Where, until now, CNN always sent a Jewish and an Arab journalist to cover information, now there will be only an Arab journalist. The local chief editor of the News Chanel is now a non Jewish (when we first learned that the new bureau chief was not Jewish, we misconcluded that he was an Arab, but he is neither Jewish or Arab).
This is a conflict where information is central to public opinion, and it weighs a lot on diplomatic decisions. Furthermore, it is no secret that Arab journalists cannot freely publish what they want without risking for their own lives when traveling to Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Judea Samaria. Thus, CNN decision to fire all Jewish journalists from its Jerusalem office is of particular concern, because the general public is unaware that they will be receiving biased information from CNN.

It’s Official! Islam Is Not A Race.

I’m on a stack of mailing lists, as well as twitter for fun and education.

One of those is for the Council of American-Islamic Relations, which would probably be better named as the Council of American/Islamic Re-education.

I don’t read them every day, as there are simply not enough hours in the day for that while still working, sleeping, pretending to do housework and most importantly indoctrinating bringing up the next generation of nilknarfs.

This one is important, though, because as someone who routinely gets labelled as a racist, it’s nice to get a bit of validation from the Other Side.

With the tagline of, “American Muslims Pose Little Threat, Study Says (NY Times)” the CAIR mailout linked to this little gem:

Ismail Faruqi: Muslim Leader in Montreal (1958-1967) and Founder of the Main Muslim Brotherhood Research Institute in the West (1981)

After various Muslim leaders held Jews responsible for the 1986 killing of Muslim Brotherhood leader Ismail Faruqi, a police investigation and a trial demonstrated that the murderer was an American Muslim who suspected Faruqi of having homosexual relationships with his Malaysian students at Temple University in Philadelphia.

In July 1986, a Montreal Gazette reader wrote to the editor to complain that the assassination of Muslim leader Ismail Faruqi in Pennsylvania had been “deliberately left out” of the newspaper. He was particularly upset since Faruqi had been a leading figure of the Montreal Muslim community from 1958 until 1967.

“When a member of the Moslem community is a victim of terrorism, there is no coverage,” he complained. “But you (the media) choose to print news that portrays Moslems as terrorists.”

At the time, this Gazette reader also contacted the Muslim Community of Quebec on Chester Avenue in Montreal (also Canada Revenue Agency) to express his indignation. Agreeing with the Gazette reader, MCQ president Mohammed Amin claimed that the lack of coverage was part of a pattern of “biased reporting of the media in general and of The Gazette in particular.”

Clair Balfour, the Gazette’s ombudsman, rejected the claim of “anti-Muslim bias” (the term Islamophobia had not yet been invented by the Muslim Brotherhood). He concluded that the lack of coverage was understandable given the fact that Faruqi was not an international newsmaker. No major press agencies on which The Gazette relied for its information had alluded to Faruqi’s activities in Montreal, added the ombudsman.

He may be al Queda, but that is no reason to call him an extremist or show him as being fat.

In England, West-loathing terrorist supporters who work and hope for the total destruction of Western democracy and implementation of Islamic supremacy are treated infinitely better by the BBC than say, any TV personality. I mean imagine a BBC memo saying you may not show any celebrity as being overweight. Would be the end of the entertainment business over there.

From The Telegraph:

BBC tells its staff: don’t call Qatada extremist

The BBC has told its journalists not to call Abu Qatada, the al-Qaeda preacher, an “extremist”.

In order to avoid making a “value judgment”, the corporation’s managers have ruled that he can only be described as “radical”.

Journalists were also cautioned against using images suggesting the preacher is overweight.

CBC bullies Canadian blogger and taxpayer, Blazing Cat Fur for posting video from SUN TV

Once again, the 1.17 Billion dollar publicly funded corporation the CBC flexes it’s muscles at those who dare criticize it. I remember once a wise man once told me, ‘Stupidity is the second most common substance in the universe. The most common is irony’. Certainly true of the CBC who is less transparent, more biased, and more threatening to its critics than the various agencies that the CBC as Canada’s mass media is supposed to attack others for.

In essence, the CBC is a perfect example of what it was created to oppose, to prevent, and if necessary, to destroy.

Here is the post from Blazing Cat Fur.

Below, the BCF version of the video

And here is SUN TV’s original version:

I really think the time for the CBC as it is, has passed. Please write or call your MP and demand accountability for public funds the CBC receives and perhaps even a dismantling of it altogether. There is no excuse for a public broadcaster in the age of the internet and unlimited spectrum. Canada may need a national voice but we can now manage to get our opinions to each other fairly and equally using the internet. We do not need our opinions manufactured for us anymore, if indeed we ever did.

One thing is certain.

Blazing cat fur, operating on it’s own dime and with no government funding has done a better job of exposing important stories than the CBC has in recent months. And they didn’t need to deliberately falsify information to force their own narrative on us as the CBC did with the Shafia trial (at one point) either.

An Open Letter to V-Télé CEO Maxime Rémillard:

From Honest Reporting Canada

V Must Assume Its Responsibilities

From the onset of the recent controversy over Quebec TV host Stéphane Gendron’s comments denying Israel’s right to exist and incitement against Jews, V-Télé’s management has shown little understanding of the inflammatory nature of its host’s statements or willingness to address the problem seriously.

After Gendron claimed Israel made it a habit to “bulldoze” innocent Palestinians, V-Télé merely “reiterated” to the producers of Gendron’s show “the need for the program to adhere to the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council’s guidelines”.

Clearly, Gendron was not impressed. In fact, throughout the Fall season Gendron accused Jews of “invent[ing] terrorism”, “steal[ing] the country from the Palestinians”,  promoting French anti-Semite Dieudonné’s mocking of the Holocaust, and presenting Jews as being contemptuous of non-Jews, “an inferior ” in his own words.

Gendron’s hateful and discriminatory statements culminated in his regret that “unfortunately, Israel has not yet collapsed” and sentence that Israel “does not deserve to exist” broadcast on December 27.

In response to HonestReporting Canada’s criticism, V-Télé affirmed that it would now ensure that “when an issue is discussed, both sides are presented.” According to this logic, would balance be procured if V-Télé’s hosts made hateful and discriminatory statements against Muslims, Arabs, and Palestinians?

Bruce Bawer reviews documentary on the Biases of the CBC

I would be interested to know how they could manage to limit such a documentary to only 90 minutes or whatever it is. I would suspect such a documentary would need several years just for the examples. In any Case, Bruce Bawer does a great review here and the DVD can be ordered here for any who would like to see it.
