He may be al Queda, but that is no reason to call him an extremist or show him as being fat.

In England, West-loathing terrorist supporters who work and hope for the total destruction of Western democracy and implementation of Islamic supremacy are treated infinitely better by the BBC than say, any TV personality. I mean imagine a BBC memo saying you may not show any celebrity as being overweight. Would be the end of the entertainment business over there.

From The Telegraph:

BBC tells its staff: don’t call Qatada extremist

The BBC has told its journalists not to call Abu Qatada, the al-Qaeda preacher, an “extremist”.

In order to avoid making a “value judgment”, the corporation’s managers have ruled that he can only be described as “radical”.

Journalists were also cautioned against using images suggesting the preacher is overweight.

  1. Actually the BBC have got it right, but for the wrong reasons. This man is not an extremist from an islamic point of view. Everything he says and does is common or garden bog-standard,straight out of the koran everyday islam. He’s just a good muslim, which in plain English is a deranged homical maniac.
One of the problems we need to overcome, and Vlad, you do a great job, is to change the overall perception of islam. Whenever one of these muslims attracts the attention of the press, and it’s usually some hideously ugly, twisted pantomine-type villan, there’s a chorous of lock him up,sling him out, stop his welfare etc etc he’s an extremist…..
By implication, islam is moderate etc and this man does not understand his own religion and has somehow got it all wrong. The opposite is true.

  2. If I hadn’t read so much about such absurdities in the UK for the last seven years, I would truly be extremely shocked over this. The sad thing is that this story just makes me wonder what, what could we see coming up next as the islamophilic British elites continue to push the boundaries of self-hatred, moral relativism and insanity plain and simple.

As for Paris Claim’s comment that Qatada is “just a good muslim, which in plain English is a deranged homical maniac”, that is right on the money.
