The princess, the pea, the terrorist and stella
Remember Stella? The woman who sued McDonalds because the coffee was too hot and made off with millions despite the fact that she was driving with a paper cup of the hot-beverage between her thighs?
Well Canada’s convicted terrorist, Momin Khawaja, who had hoped to wreak terror, death, fatal burns, destruction of property and mass death in London and other UK targets, all for the glory of Islam, somehow has managed to morph into her as he and his people complain about being splashed with hot water in prison.
Yet compared to what he had planned for the rest of us, well makes him the princess on a thousand mattresses on a single pea.

The recent convictions in the Stephen Lawrence trial have caused some controversy. It seems no effort will be spared to bring the killers to justice. However, some serious questions need to be asked of media coverage of the case. Was a fair trial even possible, given the level of frenzied media reporting?
Newspapers have jeopardised the outcome of trial proceedings before. And it is becoming increasingly obvious that editors shrink from covering violent crimes by ethnics because of fears of accusations of racism.
The suggestion is the huge media attention was accorded the case simply because Gary Dobson and David Norris are white.

Iran’s Press TV loses UK licence
The Guardian

Press TV, the Iranian state broadcaster’s English-language outlet, has been forced off the air in the UK after Ofcom revoked its licence for breaching the Communications Act.
Ofcom found that Press TV’s practice of running its editorial oversight from Tehran, Iran‘s capital, is in breach of broadcasting licence rules in the UK.
“Ofcom has decided to revoke the licence held by Press TV Limited with immediate effect,” the media regulator said in a statement.
Ofcom wrote a letter to Press TV in November highlighting the issue and offered a choice of two remedies.
The first was to switch editorial control for Press TV’s programming to the UK, the second to transfer the broadcasting licence to Iran.
“Broadcasting rules require that a licence is held by the person who is in general control of the TV service: that is, the person that chooses the programmes to be shown in the service and organises the programme schedule,” Ofcom said.

UK judge feels that women should have no actual responsibility for their actions.
If one were to extrapolate this reasoning then all of us could become vigilantes of the harshest kind. Of course, we know full well what would happen if our annoyances at day-to-day realities were to motivate us to take action against random strangers being nice to us in a fully-appropriate location. That is, if we were male, doubly so if white and again, if a Western-nation indigenous person such as a secular or Judeo-Christian person.
“How do you write women so well?”
“Easy. I think of a man and remove all accountability and reason”
I guess this judge was a fan of Jack Nicholson in As Good as it Gets.

Spared jail: Sheona Keith, 22, hurled her glass at a man she thought was ‘eyeing her up’
A woman who glassed a male clubber that smiled at her – and then blamed the attack on the fact she was sexually harassed at work – was spared jail by a judge.
Sheona Keith threw her glass at a man in a nightclub who she thought was ‘eyeing her up’, in an unprovoked attack which resulted in him needing hospital treatment.
However, a judge refused to give her a custodial sentence after accepting that earlier sexual harassment she suffered at work was the reason behind her behaviour.
Instead, 22-year-old Keith – who admitted a charge of actual bodily harm against James Kirkham – was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay £400 compensation by Judge Philip Wassall when she was sentenced at Exeter Crown Court.
Describing Keith’s case as ‘unique’, Judge Wassall said she had an ‘impeccable character’ and that the sexual harassment she had suffered was ‘intolerable’.
At one point he said that she threw the glass ‘without knowing’ it was in her hand and described the victim as being ‘in the wrong place at the wrong time’.
Passing sentence, Judge Wassall told Keith: ‘You worked hard but your chosen line of work took you into a completely male-dominated environment and one where, I am afraid, you had to put up with sexist comments and harassment which there is no excuse for.
EU threatens to withhold financial support from Hungary over definition of marriage: report
No matter what your feelings on gay marriage are, this is still an excellent example of how and why the European Union is a totalitarian, ideologically driven (and leftist at that) institution which removes basic rights to autonomous culture and decision making in a very Soviet style manner. Except its withholding the carrot more than it is, presenting the stick.

BUDAPEST, January 12, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – European Union officials are making their disapproval of Hungary’s recent constitutional changes felt by threatening to withhold financial support if it does not remove its new amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman, according to one Hungarian source.
The so-called “Easter constitution” adopted in the post-Communist country last May was a major shakeup for Hungarian politics and an outrage to progressive EU ideology: the document not only supported marriage but declared that the unborn child deserves protection from the moment of conception, and even made special mention of Christianity as lying at the heart of the country’s identity. The document’s discussion of human rights also does not mention sexual orientation, another break from EU priorities.
The Hungarian daily Magyar Nemzet claimed this week that the EU would move to drop financial aid to Hungary unless officials there scratched the marriage definition and dropped criminal charges against former Socialist Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany, according to unnamed sources in Brussels. A spokesperson for the European commissioner for economic affairs called the allegation “nonsense,” according to the Wall Street Journal.

Canadian Human Rights Tribunal boss faces harassment accusations
Daily Brew:
The Conservative-appointed head of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal is under fire for allegedly harassing her own staff.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper named Alberta lawyer Shirish Chotalia, chairwoman of the tribunal in November 2009. The tribunal hears complaints referred to it by the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
Now the Ottawa Citizen’s Chris Cobb reports an independent labour investigator has upheld harassment complaints against Chotalia from two staff members.
Lawyer Philip Chodos concluded she engaged in “baffling, if not bizarre” behaviour. Chotalia faces two more harassment complaints. Her employees last year accused her of creating a toxic atmosphere in the workplace.
More than half the tribunal’s 25-member staff left via sick leave or retirement in her first year on the job, the Citizen reported.
Chodos was appointed to investigate under an agreement with Chotalia and unions representing her staff.
The process is considered unusual since harassment complaints normally are handled by the heads of the affected government department or agency. Continue Reading →
To VG and Aftenposten: Do the Right Thing and Publish Breivik’s Comments
Gates of Vienna
Below is Fjordman’s response to Norwegian media outlets after one of them published falsehoods about him — deliberately or otherwise — in relation to the Anders Behring Breivik case.

On December 23, 2011, the newspaper Verdens Gang (VG) ran an online article entitled “Slik var kontakten mellom ‘Fjordman’ og Breivik” — “This is what the contact was like between ‘Fjordman’ and Breivik.” That same afternoon the public broadcaster NRK also quoted information that came directly from confidential statements I had given to Norwegian police in the fall of 2011.
The police thus managed to leak to both the country’s largest newspaper and its largest TV and radio broadcaster on the same day.
Leaks to the mass media in the Breivik case have continued. They involve not only me, but also other witnesses. Aftenposten published a story based on the statements of survivors from the Utøya massacre. Police lawyer Christian Hatlo admitted that the numerous media leaks have become a serious problem for them. Some witnesses no longer dare tell the police what they know, because they fear being exposed in the press.
In my case, the leaks wouldn’t have been so bad if only the reports by VG and NRK had accurately reflected what my police statement says. Unfortunately, the two media outlets did no such thing. Since this is classified information, protected by official police secrecy, the general public cannot verify for themselves whether this is true or not. Continue Reading →
‘Divide and rule’ Diane Abbott sent son to £6,000 private school in Ghana
A little lefty hypocrisy here. I am reliably informed, that the very same people in Los Angeles who have ruined most of the schools there with abhorrent and anti-freedom policies also send their children to private schools as a rule, leaving the working classes the leftist-elites are supposed to be so fond of, to send their children to the very schools the elites destroyed.
Communism. Ain’t it grand? Good enough for thee, but not for me.
