The following is an email from our Hungarian translator and corespondent, CrossWare with much thanks and even more relief.
Right now, just hours after the polls closed (with about 70-80% of the votes processed), Viktor Orbán’s party, the Fidesz-KDNP, won more than 40 percent of the seats in the parliament, which at this moment is projected to translate into at least 133 seats in the final tally. That’s a 2/3 majority, and will give Fidesz the ability to change the Basic Law (Constitution) itself. This could help in the resistance against the EU, because their basic treaty specifies that they cannot do anything against it. If this holds, then we can say Viktor Orbán got the ultimate permission from the people of Hungary. It was a record turnout: 68.13%, the highest for decades.
The only shameful spot is Budapest, where the opposition’s strongest spots are clearly visible.
Note: I always knew there was a reason why Communists and Globalists are trying to push the population into crowded cities. Once there, most of them lose their wholesome system of values and become an easily manipulable mob. For me, this result is a clear proof of that.
Now the process will continue till morning, when more complete results will be published. The counting process will be finished in a couple of weeks.
As my Dad was part of one of the local voting committees, I can describe the process of how the counting occurs (to avoid claims that “the Russians hacked it”):
Voting is done on paper. One piece of paper is for the individual candidate, another for the parties.
The people make their Xs on two spots, which constitute a valid vote. After the voting place closes, the committee, which is composed of representatives of all the interested parties, will start counting. They count the votes multiple times, at least twice, by different people. Once the results are reliably achieved, they create an official record of it and report it to the central office in Budapest. All votes are preserved, and in another book, each citizen’s signature, too. Electronic calculations are made in Budapest, but manual calculations of the results are made as well, and compared to the electronic results. (That’s why it is a slower process than a full electronic one, but it is not possible to hack it.)

EU-Commission Plans The Final Solution To “Disinformation On The Internet”

There are growing concerns in Brussels over the disinformation of the citizens over the internet. That is why an “expert group” of researchers, journalists and the representatives of platforms is meeting in Brussels, and will finally present suggestions for a final solution of avoiding disinformation on the internet to the EU commission.
„Since the election of Donald Trump as the president of the USA at the end of 2016, there are increasing worries in Europe that fake news on the internet might drastically manipulate public debate. The EU commission therefore wants to take measures against fake news, and, for this purpose, has summoned a group of experts from the sciences, and representatives of the media industry and platforms like Facebook, Google and Twitter. This ‘High Level Group’ will submit suggestions for fighting fake news on the internet until summer, write Netzpolitik.org on their website about the plans of the Eurocrats. One does not need particular skills in reading between the lines to understand what this means: The electoral success of Trump was only possible because he had a large voting base who had lost their trust in mainstream media, and who were looking for “alternative” information on the web, far away from anti Trump campaigns. This must not happen in Europe! Just imagine how Eurocracy might end, if the people in Europe were no longer to listen to the soothing mainstream media.
In the German sphere, the so-called “alternative media” are on the march, while “long-established” magazines like Bild, Spiegel, Stern, Focus, etc., keep losing readers. The reason is simple: their unconditional courting of the Merkel regime.
So many of the positive news about the mass migration was such a brazen pack of lies that it was insulting to the readers’ intelligence. This is taking vengeance now, and will probably not be reversibly easily.
And exactly that is the reason why there now will be a political interference. What is particularly telling is that, no matter what the committee of experts will suggest to the EU commission in the end, we will never know, because it has been ordered from the highest place that all documents will remain secret.
There is a reason for that.
There are two suggestions at the moment:
– So-called “Fake News” will be outright banned, and the operators of social networks, servers, alternative websites and other platforms will be required by law to completely delete content. You can imagine who will define what is “fake news” and what is not.
– The competitors of the “Fake News”, in other words, mainstream media, will be made more visible, by
promoting the news that is, in the opinion of the EU, more credible. Additionally, the awareness of “Fake News” will have to be increased by training, for example in schools.
All this reeks of censorship, cooptation (Gleichschaltung) and reeducation, and should be fought sternly before it comes into effect.
Do not rely on politicians, become active! Send news from alternative media per email to friends, educate your friends and family about the possibilities to receive news outside the mainstream media! Beat the Eurocrats by warning as many people as possible about the “reeducation” through these so-called “educational measures”.

Hungarian Government Plans Punitive Taxes For Refugee Helpers
Viktor Orbán continues to proceed rigorously against refugees and their supporters within the country. Now, NGOs are to be sanctioned by a tax. It is not the first measure of this kind.
Hungary’s right-wing-nationalist government plans a new punitive tax for NGOs which help refugees and mainly cover their expenses by foreign donations. This is what the Hungarian Interior Minister Sandor Pinter announced on Wednesday after a government meeting. The tax will be 25 percent.
The measure is part of a planned package of laws intended to regulate the work of NGOs which are associated with the so-called “Soros-Plan”. The “Stop-Soros-Package” further specifies that organizations which help, as the motion calls them, “illegal migrants”, will have to register at court. Foreign workers of such organizations might be expelled. The draft bill is to be voted in by parliament after discussion by different councils and leagues.
Organizations will have to register
Since 2017 already a law is in place that forces all civil organizations who receive more than 24,000 Euros per year in foreign aids to register with court. They will also have to carry the specification “foreign-aided organization” in all publications. The law is currently subject to a violation of contract proceeding by the EU.
The “Soros Plan” is at the center of a month-long crusade by prime minister Viktor Orbán’s government. He accuses the US billionaire George Soros, who supports numerous civil organizations, of intending to “flood” Europe with migrants to destroy its “Christian and national identity”. There is no proof for such a plan by the Hungarian-born philanthropist.
Martin Schulz gets heckled
Martin Schulz is the former president of the EU Parliament and now the leader of the Social Democrats in Germany — and Angela Merkel’s coalition partner.
Martin Schulz held a press conference in Dortmund today (January 15) to campaign for the Grand Coalition (Große Koalition, GroKo). A local right-wing group protested outside, and a picketer interrupted him.

Bild: Mr. Orbán, Social Democrat chief Martin Schulz demanded that the CSU chief Seehofer should put you in your place.
Viktor Orbán: I have always had great respect for Martin Schulz, because he is a good fighter. But to be amusing as a fighter, and to carry the responsibility for shaping the politics of a country are two different things. What was fine and nice in Brussels – where there are no visible consequences – is a different story than being the chief of a party in Germany and communicating with other countries. We think we deserve more respect.
“We do not want to be coerced”
Bild: For what?
Orbán: Hungary is one of the few stories of success of the last decade. Successful West, poor East – those times are over. 2010, when I went into office, the unemployment rate was 12 percent. Now, it is 4 percent. The economic growth is more than 4 percent, 2009 it still was minus 6 percent. The household deficit is notably lower than 3 percent. If you fairly assess us, we are doing quite well.
Bild: But that is not what the criticism was about. How fair is it, to be a member of the EU but not to stick by the rules? Hungary was supposed to accept only 1294 refugees. You refused, went to the European court, lost, called the verdict “a shame”, and still refused.
Orbán: More than 20 states did not adhere to the quota, yet, it is only we who are being criticized, this is a case of applying double standards. The fact is that the verdict only referred to the EU resolution that basically expired at the same time… there must be new discussions.
Bild: Would you, otherwise, have accepted the verdict and accepted the refugees?
Orbán: Yes. We stand on the basis of the rule of law.
Bild: But the EU is not only based on law, but also on solidarity. Why can Germany accept 2 million refugees, while Hungary can’t accept 2,000?
“Christian and Islamic society will never blend”
Orbán: The difference is: It was you who wanted the migrants. Not us. We do our job by protecting the Schengen outer border with Serbia. This has cost us about 1 billion Euros additionally since 2015, and Brussels is not paying a single cent for that. The solution to the problem certainly isn’t to distribute people, who reside in the EU illegally, across the whole EU territory. We think one should help where the problem lies, and not take immigration here.
Bild: Why don’t the Hungarians want refugees?
Orbán: We do not view these people as Muslim refugees. We view them as Islamic invaders. For example, in order to arrive in Hungary, from Syria, you have to cross four countries, all of them not as rich as Germany, but stable. So, already there, they aren’t running for their lives. This, too, proves that they are economic migrants, looking for a better life.
Bild: You say that you represent the will of the Hungarian people.
Orbán: I can only speak for the Hungarian people, and they don’t want migration. According to my understanding, it is not possible that the people have an opinion about such a profound topic, and the government refuses to act accordingly. We are talking about the sovereignty and the cultural identity of the country. We need to reserve the right to decide who can live on Hungarian territory.
Bild: No Muslims, apparently…
Orbán: We believe that a high number of Muslims necessarily leads to parallel societies, as Christian and Muslim society will never blend. Multiculturalism is just an illusion. We don’t want such a thing. And we don’t want to be coerced. Take Budapest as a positive example: a cosmopolitan melting pot without parallel societies.

In 2016, Denmark has introduced controls at the German border, because of the refugee crisis. Since September it even deploys armed soldiers. Now, the country tightens its border controls once again. Each single car is examined.
Denmark tightens the controls at the German border. The measure is part of the budget that parliament in Copenhagen adopted Friday evening.
Automatic license plate scanners will be installed at all border checkpoints. At the five large checkpoints Frøslev, Padborg, Kruså and the ferry terminals Rødby and Gedser, additional control huts will be established, according to the Danish news agency Ritzau.
At the other checkpoints, there will be sample checks with a patrol car, but, if necessary, also with civilian cars and from air. Denmark had tightened the controls at the German borders in January 2016 because of increasing numbers of refugees. The emphasis used to lay on the five large checkpoints.
Since late September, armed soldiers are deployed, to disencumber police. In October, the government extended the controls until at least May 12. Reasoning: risk of terror. The Danish government announced that they saw a risk in rejected asylum seekers from Germany.
Syrian Asylum Seeker Was Planning An Attack
Currently, Danish police have arrested a Syrian asylum seeker under terror suspicion, according to their statement, he and another Syrian who was convicted in Germany were planning an attack in Copenhagen. Police announce that the 30-year-old was apprehended in cooperation with the Danish intelligence service.
He and his 21-year-old accomplice wanted to “attack [people] with knives and after that, detonate one or multiple explosive devices” in November 2016 in Copenhagen. Their plan failed when Danish authorities refused entry to the younger of the two, and Danish police arrested him.

Asylum seekers to hand over mobile phones and cash
Austria will adopt a new style with the new ÖVP-FPÖ government. This had been clear for quite a while. But what are the plans of the coalition under the new chancellor Kurz? The government program “For our Austria”, Für unser Österreich, details it.
After seven weeks of negotiations, ÖVP and FPÖ agreed on a 182 pages strong government program for the next five years. The coalition of conservatives and right-wing-populists declare their clear dedication for the EU.
The preface of the pact says: “A strong Austria, where we can seize the opportunities of the 21st century, can only exist in a strong Europe”. A fundament of solid politics was, among others, comprised of the basic principles of the European Union. The parties’ councils approved the pact late Friday evening unanimously.
But what exactly does “Together. For our Austria” say? Some of the points were already extracted on Saturday. But what do general statements like “stop illegal migration” and “speed up asylum proceedings” really mean? These are the most important of the planned measures.
Migration and refugees
– Whoever applies for asylum in Austria will have to hand over all of his cash at the application. The sum is to be used to cover the basic supply costs.
– Asylum seekers have to hand over their mobile phones to the authorities. These will analyse the phone data, to clarify identities (for example in social networks) and to verify the denoted travel route. The smart phones won’t be completely confiscated though.
– Quicker withdrawal of protection status at travels to the homeland.
– During the asylum procedure, asylum seekers will receive non-cash benefits only, no more cash.
– The doctoral obligation to confidentiality will be suspended, when illnesses of an asylum seeker are “relevant to the basic supply”.
– Refugee children will learn German in so-called bridge classes. Until now, they were integrated directly into the school system.
– The list of safe countries of origin will be expanded.
– The monetary benefit for asylants and subsidiary protected will be reduced to a base benefit of 365 Euro and a potential integration bonus of 155 Euro. Family benefits will be capped to 1,500 Euro.
Taxes
– The government will lower the tax burden in the next five years. The lowering of the wage- and income-tax will mean keeping more net from your gross.
– Especially families will be unburdened with a tax bonus. Among others, a tax bonus of 1,500 Euros per child and family is offered.
– The tax burden will be lowered towards 40 percent.
Security
– 2,100 additional police officers will be hired during the next five years.
– Citizenship will be “newly reshaped”, according to the coalition paper. It is now defined as the “completion of a successful process of integration”.
– Closing-down of Islamic kindergartens and Islamic private schools when they do not fulfil the legal requirements.
– The government intends a dramatic toughening of punishments for sex crimes. Particularly for assaults on women and children.
– Clubs that are financed by, for example, religious societies in foreign countries, will be consequently shut down. The club law will be reworked to plug loopholes.
Employment Law
– Employment Law will be eased to make the Austrian employment market more attractive for companies.
– More flexible working hours for employees.
– considering to enshrine Christmas and holiday benefits for employees in law.
– A minimum pension of 1,200 Euros for low-paid workers after 40 years on the job.
– More funding and more positions at universities, to counteract the exodus of young scientists.
Europe
– ÖVP and FPÖ want a definite termination of the EU accession negotiations with Turkey, and they are looking for “allies” for that. Instead, Vienna wants a “European-Turkish neighbor concept”.
– The government wants to promote better coordination of the EU member states in protecting the outer European borders.
– As long as this is not secured, the national borders will be secured by all measures.

“Prague Is Like It Used To Be With US” – A Berliner’s Thoughts In Festive Prague
A friend who lives in Berlin sent this note from Prague:
Tonight, I strolled home from a bar, between 4 and 5 in the morning, for half an hour, alone, across the city. The city was quiet. No rubbish, no screaming. At important buildings, there was the occasional police officer, not paying attention to me. At the access road to the old city, there was another police officer, freezing and bored in the middle of the road, but he was there. Scattered party-goers came my way, with civilized behavior. An elderly man walked his dogs on a leash. I felt safe on the whole way, I had nothing* in my pockets, I dilly-dallied and enjoyed the christmas decorations at the castle hill. All of it was simply enchanting, peace in freedom. Precious christmas decorations were fixed even on the outside of the ground floor windows, little trees with balls, and mangers stood directly on the pedestrian walk, or on the doorsteps. Apparently, no one here is expecting theft, vandalism, riots.
Prague is like it used to be with us.
There had been only nice, civilized people in the bar, most of them czech, and a single black person among them who was eager to be the nicest person, too. Earlier this night a friend had told me about Mannheim, where, as a woman, you don’t go anywhere alone at night anymore. And WE are lecturing the Visegrad states? On what? Spare your words!
