The new Charlie Hebdo cover.

1. Charlie Hebdo’s new caricature ‘unjustifiably provocative’: Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta

(it is stupefying to try and grasp that muslims believe that any drawing is a greater offense than the murder of some 16 people over them. But that is Islam in a nutshell. Where it belongs.   *~@:^{)>   <—– An atypical moment of a happy mohamed in ASCI art)

Charlie Hebdo’s decision to renew the publication of caricatures of Prophet Mohamed is “an act unjustifiably provocative to the feelings of a billion and a half Muslims worldwide who love and respect the Prophet,” Egypt’s Dar Al-Ifta warned in a statement on Tuesday.

The new issue of Charlie Hebdo will cause a “new wave of anger” in France and the West in general, the statement said, adding that it “will not serve the dialogue between civilisations which Muslims seek.”

The cover of the first edition of the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo since 12 of its staff members were killed by Islamist gunmen last week showed a cartoon of the Prophet Mohamed crying and holding up a “Je suis Charlie” sign under the words “All is forgiven.”

The thing about this graphic I like, is it is even funnier upside down:

BBC Asia interviews a Hamas leader on their ties with Iran and ambitions.

This is a significant interview and while it was supposed to be available in English by request, no request was answered by those who asked. Please download and spread this video by any and all means in case it is removed. It must be seen and understood. While it isn’t a ‘sexy’ video of psychos screaming, it is an extremely powerful person calmly discussing geopolitically significant matters such as nuclear weapons, genocide, strategic alliances and enmity as well as ambitions as well as the implementation of sharia in Gaza. Add to this recent demonstrations of Hamas’ alliance with Turkey and we see what could be a game changer in the region.

With the speed of a swinging blade, freedom of speech gets restricted to more areas once blasphemy laws are allowed.

On the Blog Talk Radio program I did for a month or two, and at every opportunity I have, I point out that freedom of speech has only one function. That of protecting criticism of religious authority in all forms. Why? Because once you concede to religion as protected from criticism all things will be put under their purview as quickly as possible.

This news story featured at Jihad Watch is the perfect example.

Jakarta Post’s editor faces blasphemy charge for cartoon mocking Islamic State

Indonesian police have declared the editor-in-chief of a prominent English-language daily newspaper a suspect in a blasphemy case over the publication of a cartoon mocking the jihadist group Islamic State.

[…]

The editor said: “What we produced was a journalistic piece that criticised the ISIS movement, which has carried out violence in the name of religion,” using the acronym of the extremist group, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria.

“It means that the ISIS caricature was not blasphemous,” he said. “We all know that ISIS is an organisation that is banned in Indonesia and across almost the entire world.”

The Jakarta-based Alliance of Independent Journalists, or AJI, slammed the declaration of Suryodiningrat as suspect.

So it starts with a law that says you cannot criticize or in any way represent the deity with the most aggressive fan base in a given area. Then, you may also not represent any avatars that deity has attributed to him in a way other than the narrative originally assigned, or that impedes the advancement of the agenda of the supremacy of those who promote that agenda.

And then it becomes political. Anything associated with the deity is now legally above criticism except in certain ways and even then…

Then its everything. You cannot pick your own colors for clothes, you cannot pick your own styles of things and your choices are made for you by panels of religious experts on all matters cultural and personal.

Granted this particular article appears to be about the contents of his cartoon. But the chill effect will be exactly the same. Everyone in publishing will know what the real reason is and speak accordingly.

For those of us who understand this issue I would suggest the time to speak openly, loudly and often about Islam and its threat to liberal society is now. Make and wear T shirts. Exercise your freedom of speech. Preserve the enlightenment and do it now. The clock is ticking in Canada while it runs out in Indonesia.

Extraordinary MEMRI clip. A must see and must spread.

This very honest MEMRI clip from a former Iraqi MP on the Islamic State and their rationale. This man appears to be very reasonable as well.

Here is just one of the money shots from this interview:

The Fiqh, being sharia law and its demands and justifications for various actions, is, as he claims, more dangerous than nuclear technology. He is correct. A nation without Fiqh and with nuclear weapons may posses them for decades and not use them even in self defense. Israel is a fantastic example of that as they never even moved towards the button in wars that could be called existential. But now imagine a nation with both. And then we know why the world must not be apathetic on the matter of the Iranian bomb.

Remember this video we posted on Oct. 20 – 2013?

Well this is what happened to her because of that. Thank you Oz-Rita for the translation.

Please watch these two videos. This is a very important post. I think the only way we can beat this, is we are all going to have to speak truthfully in public about islam. All of us and everywhere.

VIDEO: WAKE-UP CALL FROM THE ANONYMOUS ISLAMOPHOBE

An Original Translation by JLH

From PI News:

On Sunday, the peace and lazy tranquility of tourist activity in front of the Cologne Cathedral was shocked into attention by a spontaneous guerrilla-action appearance of the ”Anonymous Islamophobe.”  It earned applause and startled glances for its “Wake-Up Call to Islamization.”  Flyers were passed out and further actions are planned to jolt a paralyzed Germany into awareness of this important subject.

Imam in Philadelphia attempts to cut off a man’s hand who is suspected of thievery.

This is  a very important item.

More so than most because it speaks to an issue which is of central importance in terms of the cognitive dissonance that is costing the Western world so much in its blindly fought battle with Islam and its followers.

Most people feel that there is no danger of sharia law being enforced in Western nations and those who think it will are viewed as racist or crazy or some other label that allowed them to be dismissed. Those that do understand the problem to a degree are arranging to have various state legislatures pass new laws re-entrenching US constitutional law and adding the notion that foreign law may not be used in US criminal courts etc.

While this needs to be done so that judges are prevented from using cultural Marxism to make judgements involving foreign nationals or even Americans who claim to be muslims, this is really not a deterrent.

The fact is that sharia law is basically a kind of pirates code. All that is needed to implement it, is enough muslims in the area to make it worth the risk and then believing thugs to implement it and not care what happens to them when and if they are arrested for doing so.

There is no nice way to fight back against this. There is only force.

It breaks my heart to write that.

From Reuters:

(Reuters) – Two men described as leaders of a Philadelphia mosque were accused of trying to cut off the hand of a suspected thief, whose wrist was sliced so deeply it required hospital treatment, police said on Friday.

The 46-year-old victim said two officials in the mosque accused him of stealing jars of money from the house of worship after morning prayers on Monday.

The officials, described in police reports as the mosque’s imam and amir, dragged the victim to the rear of the mosque, and attempted to chop off his hand with a machete, according to a police statement.

Ezra and the backwater imam #2

Once upon a time in Canada, the truth was an absolute defense in a court of law. I would bet the establishment still has those pretenses. I doubt highly that it is still the case. But for Ezra’s sake, lets all hope it still is.

Check out the 2 threats against Ezra in Twitter, one of them warning to kill him

Brunei: ‘Stone the gays’ law to be phased in from tomorrow

Anyone think this will shift homosexual activist groups away from hatred of white Europeans, the USA and Israel? Didn’t think so. I wonder if there will be a gay pride march in Brunei? Or even one in Canada to protest sharia law on homosexuality? No, I don’t think so either. They will continue to protest and insult and push the line on states that openly embrace homosexuality even in the schools etc. and continue to show hostility to Israel, the only state in the entire Middle East where homosexuals can experience any kind of security of life and lifestyle.

Story from Pink News:

The Sultan of Brunei has confirmed that a law calling for homosexuals to be stoned to death will be phased in from tomorrow.

The law was announced earlier this month, and replaces the maximum ten-year prison sentence for homosexuality with death by stoning.

It was condemned by the UN, and a host of celebrities including Stephen Fry, Ellen DeGeneres and Sharon Osbourne, who targeted the Brunei-owned Dorchester Collection for boycotts.

The sweeping law was initially due to come into effect on April 22, but was postponed due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

Despite the delays, the Sultan today confirmed the law, which will apply to both Muslims and non-Muslims, will be phased in over a two-year period from tomorrow.

More on the Syrian crucifixion

This is an important thing to get right. Not that long ago, a lot of websites were reporting on alleged crucifixions that took place outside the palace gates in Cairo during Morsi’s Ikhwan regime. There was no evidence of it whatsoever but it was widely repeated because as a prescribed punishment in islam, it isn’t that unbelievable that it would happen.

Truth however, is still the most important element to preserving a secular state, even when those truths do not necessarily appear to support the secular agenda. For example, as religious people have more children than atheists do, then religion according to Dawkins own evolutionary theories, is a highly evolutionarily useful device for creating offspring that are well looked after. Depending of course, on the religion and your definition of well looked after. This is likely an uncomfortable truth for some of the more strident atheists.

So thank you M for sending auxiliary materials on this Syrian crucifixion in the previous post. We want to get this right. If indeed muslims are now crucifying people and there is evidence to support it, people need to know just as its equally important not to tell untruths about what muslims do, because it creates an easy out for those who do not believe Islam is a problem by thinking its all untrue because some of it is.

New Blasphemy laws for the UK?

Yesterday on Feb. 9 2014, BBC1 aired the program, The Big Questions with its usual three segments. The first segment was a scathing unequivocal condemnation of the Catholic Church due to some well publicized pedophelia cases. According to the segment it was the only aspect of the Catholic church that exists at all. It was in fact, a slaughter of sorts. The one or two Catholics in the audience showed great grace and dignity in the face of it.

The second segment was on hunting in Africa and the one person they got to defend it of course represented everything a good Marxist is trained to loath and many cries of “rich American” could be heard.

The third segment was a little different. The question was, are some things too sacred for comedy? This time it was handled much more carefully.

In my opinion, this was part of the process of anesthetizing the British public to new blasphemy laws for Islam that are most likely going to be implemented. If I were to bet, I would say before 2020. Perhaps it shall be called the year of great irony where 2020 will come to mean the year you may no longer look instead of having perfect vision.

I put that segment below with 1 comment of my own at the start and at the end.

Lest we forget…

Death sentence given in blasphemy case

From Tribune.PK

[…] According to the prosecution, Imam Ali, 63, a resident of Haroonabad, was found drawing pictures of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on the walls of his room. […]

A nephew of Ali’s said that several lawyers had refused to take up the defence case fearing a backlash.
The judge also fined Ali Rs100,000.

So, for mocking the pirate Mohamed, founder of a personal sex and murder cult, both the death penalty AND a fine. Makes you want to run off and buy retirement property in Pakistan doesn’t it?

M, who sent this story in, also sent in this video of some raving thug who attempts to explain why no one should ever say or express views of mohamed and islam other than his.
