Islam campaign causes a stir: – Risky

An original translation by Tania Groth with much thanks

From this Norwegian news source:

Coca-Cola is courting Norwegian Muslims in a new campaign.

In connection with the Islamic fast Ramadan, Coca-Cola will this week launch a major campaign across the country. On the advertising posters, we will see the well-known logo in a new form, namely with a crescent moon — an important symbol in Islam.

Why are you doing this?

“In Muslim countries we have a long history of observing Ramadan, just as we in this country have tradition for Christmas campaigns. Now for the first time in Norway we want to celebrate Ramadan together with Norwegian Muslims,” says Johanna Kosanovic, marketing manager in Norway.

[Photo (woman with earrings): LONG HISTORY: Johanna Kosanovic says the campaign continues a long story where the company has used its power to promote diversity. Photo: Coca Cola]

Apart from selling more soda, what do you want to accomplish with this campaign?

“We want to show our clear stand on diversity and how important it is to society. Diversity and inclusion have always been important to Coca-Cola. For example, many do not know that in the 1950s we were actively engaged in the civil rights movement, and that Coca-Cola was the first to promote women in advertising campaigns.”

Do you have other plans to mark Coca-Cola as an inclusive brand in other areas, such as sexual orientation etc.?

In general, I can say that we have a long history of taking an active position on issues related to diversity and gender equality. An example from recent times is how we in Norway are the main partner for the SHE conference. And in Sweden, women’s football is supported with as much money as the men’s football in connection with the World Cup. Beyond that, we never comment on plans for upcoming products and campaigns.”

What are you waiting for?

“We believe most share our values, such as the importance of community and joy. So we understand that not everyone would like us to take an active stand for cultural inclusion. It’s quite OK.”

Not brave

“I don’t know very much about this campaign, but it sounds really positive,” says Fatima Almanea, who has a seat on the municipal council for the Labor Party in Verdal municipality.

She thinks the company is releasing a target group with this gesture and says that it can be viewed from an equal treatment perspective.

“This is an excellent way to look after all the target groups. After all, we are already familiar with their big campaigns for Christmas, and so it is only natural that they take this initiative.

“We can look at it as part of equal treatment. And then we can also hope that it raises both curiosity and awareness.”

“No, it’s not brave. This is not controversial. It shouldn’t be, but it could become that!”

“We must also praise Coca-Cola for great marketing,” she adds with a smile.

Nina Marianne Iversen, professor of marketing and branding at BI, thinks the campaign is interesting:

“It is clear that Coca-Cola as a brand wants to establish closer ties to Muslims. The campaign is aimed at a group that fasts — and when they can finally drink something, they should know that there is a Coca Cola ready for them.”

“Another motive for Coca-Cola is that they want to show themselves as a responsible social actor by linking the brand to diversity and inclusion,” Iversen says.

[Smiling female Dhimmi: Risky: Professor Nina Marianne Iversen says that Coca-Cola are pretty “tøffe” (tough). Photo: BI]

“Such a move can also be risky because it connects such an established brand to something that can provoke negative associations and stereotypes in many. They are “tøff” (tough) to do this! They challenge the stereotype and those who are skeptical of Islam,” says the professor to Dagbladet.

“We must remember that we are not as rational as we think when choosing products. So, what one associations with a brand is very important,” says Iversen, and adds:

“This is a short-term campaign that will attract a lot of attention around Coca-Cola. When the brand is as famous as this, there is actually much you can permit yourself to do.”

ANTIFA threatens to MURDER venue owner and his CHILDREN if AfD member speaks

Remember Frank Magnitz?
He is the AfD member who was jumped in an alley by two men and hit on the head with an iron bar.
The government-media complex told the world that he was drunk and fell and hit his head.
And then CCTV footage of the event was found.

The other day in Germany he was booked to speak at a privately owned venue due to an upcoming election and the communist thugs, ANTIFA, threatened to murder the owner and his family if they allowed him to speak.
Understandably, they cancelled the event.

Below, the CCTV of Frank being attacked in 2018:

Mega Mosques, Mega psychos, and more: Links 1, May 8th, 2019

1. Mayor sides with Muslims in mega-mosque battle that divides community

A big legal battle is heating up over a proposed mega-mosque in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and regardless of the outcome longtime residents say some in this city’s divided immigrant community are going to feel slighted.

On one side is the mayor, Michael C. Taylor, fighting for the Muslims and their right to build a massive mosque right smack dab in the middle of the nation’s largest Chaldean Christian refugee community.

On the other side are the Christian refugees. They say they feel like their rights are once again being seen as second fiddle to the Muslims, just as they were back home in Iraq. […]

(Notice how the imam in this video uses the classic threat of terrorism when the mosque he planned in a Christian community was turned down)

2. ‘Chilling’ footage shows London Bridge terrorist wipe knife on beard after killing eight people

Aterrorist washed his knife and wiped it on his beard in a “chilling gesture” after killing eight people at London Bridge and Borough Market, an inquest has heard.

Khuram Butt, 27, was caught on CCTV cameras cleaning his 12 inch pink ceramic knife inside Black and Blue restaurant while Youssef Zaghba, 22, took a drink from the tap behind the bar.

The terrorists’ movements were part of harrowing footage showing the London Bridge terror attack unfolding in real time has been played at the inquests into the eight victims’ deaths.

Jonathan Hough QC, counsel for the coroner, had warned the families of the victims in court that “distressing images” would be shown, and Butt’s reaction was “the most chilling”.

A grim compilation of video clips from CCTV, dashboard cameras and handheld camera phones charted the progress ofthe atrocity in minute detail.

3. I Was ‘AOC Press’ On Twitter. Then They Banned Me.

On Monday evening I was removed from Twitter. I still don’t really know why. I have my suspicions, but no one’s really tried to explain it to me.

I run the parody ‘AOC Press’ account, which had over 80,000 followers. It was pretty funny, even if I do say so myself.

This is election interference.

The fact is as we move closer to the 2020 election, a number of high-profile, high follower, conservative accounts are being banned. In total, we have lost access to millions, maybe even tens of millions of impressions over the past few days. This is election interference.

4. WATCH: Feminist Repeatedly Punches Pro-Lifer In The Face On Campus. She’s Been Charged With Assault.

(But if someone attacked a pro-abortion activist like that, I know for a fact they would be dragged off in handcuffs since we know that to happen just for pro-life people being on a campus with literature etc. They don’t even need to attack someone and sucker punch them like that to be properly arrested. Selective enforcement again. And what if the man had defended himself and injured this psycho self righteous villain? Would be he in handcuffs? I bet he would.)

5. Canadian media on ISLAMOPHOBIA..and how political ISLAM is infiltrating CANADA.

6. After muslims murder hundreds of Christians and tourists and local hotel employees in Sri Lanka, the important thing to remember, as it always is, that the real victim of Islamic terrorism are muslims. And now, as this article tells us, they are getting dirty looks on the street occasionally from someone who lost a loved one or a leg. Because the most important thing to know about muslims killing everyone all over the place for their religion and a lottery ticket to an eternal brothel, is that muslims, are the real victims. And don’t you forget it.

Thank you @AmyMek, M., Wrath of Khan, EB., SB., Richard, and all who participated in the mental emancipation which sites like this can be.

There is a stunning amount of worthy news in the Contributor’s links post for May 8th. Well worth looking into it. I have a terrible feeling there will be even more tomorrow and Friday and through the weekend as competing ideas are marching in cities across North America. Some of them are determined to be as violent as they can.

Asia Bibi in Canada

It is possible that this is the first genuine refugee Canada has taken in. And it is an amazingly good thing that Canada did. One wonders if there are conditions to her being here such as limits to her freedom of speech to discuss Islam and its impact on minorities in Islamic countries. It is difficult not to believe that the Saudi girls are not under conditions like that as their language has been extremely measured since arriving here.

The CBC article failed to mention that the UK turned down her application because of concerns over how local muslims would behave. Once again showing who makes the law in the UK.

It is a powerfully good thing that Canada brought in Asia. However I personally have met migrants to Canada from Syria who were Christian but had to lie and say they were Muslim to get into Canada as a refugee. So while this extremely high profile case is an excellent event, someone needs to look in to the actual policy in Canada in terms of accepting genuine refugees of Islamic horror and discrimination against minority religions and see what is wrong in the system.

The thing that is rotten in Denmark, has now broken the surface

From Gates of Vienna:

Crackdown on Islam-Critics in Denmark

I woke up this morning to find this comment by a Dane posted on last night’s news feed:

I thought you may want to know; not sure where to post this, so here it is anyway: This morning, Steen from “Snaphanen” in Copenhagen, Denmark was picked up by six police officers and taken in for questioning in handcuffs, and his computers, hard drives etc. seized. Allegedly for linking to links from other links to links eventually leading to a video of a beheading.

Shakespeare was right. There IS something rotten in the state of Denmark.

I took a quick look at Steen’s Steen’s blog. He has posted — using a borrowed computer — about what happened. He’s not the only one who was rounded up this morning; evidently this was a big day for cracking down on “Islamophobes” in Denmark.

In Denmark! I thought Denmark was different, but evidently not.

This is the closest to home the repression has hit. Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff was prosecuted and convicted, but she was never arrested, nor did she have her computers seized. This is the first time a good friend of mine has been handcuffed and taken away to help police with their enquiries.

I spent many enjoyable hours in Steen’s company on several occasions a few years ago. He put me up in his apartment and introduced me to a number of Danish dissidents, including Lars Hedegaard. Steen is a superb photographer — that was his primary pursuit before he took up Islamophobia. He took the photo at the top of this post in happier days, when I was in Denmark back in 2009, enjoying a meal at a restaurant with a group of Scandinavian dissidents. You can see me sitting at the far end of the table.

Art Gallery proves definitely who makes the law in the UK. Hint: It is not the British. Links 1, May 7, 2019

1. An excellent summary of Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau’s accomplishments while in office.

Over the last year, I’ve met a growing number of fellow Canadians who have begun to yearn for a Donald to lead the country. They have belatedly recognized that they have a Ronald McDonald at the helm in Justin Trudeau, whose antics may delight children but who is quite incapable in any adult capacity.

(It is too funny to post more here. Click over to the source link and enjoy. I never thought that if you managed to put that much humiliating incompetence together in one article it could be that risible. Sure, you could say, ‘look at Laurel and Hardy!’. Yes, that was condensed incompetence but I never found it funny.)

2. Saatchi Gallery covers up SKU artworks after complaints by Muslims

A top art gallery was forced to cover two paintings last week after complaints from Muslims that they were “blasphemous”. One expert described them as “The Satanic Verses all over again”.

Exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery by an artist known as SKU, the works overlaid Arabic script on nude images, and were meant to represent the conflict between America and Islamic extremists.

However, the inclusion of the Islamic declaration of faith, known as the shahada, in the painting prompted complaints from Muslim visitors, who asked for them to be removed from the west London gallery’s exhibition, Rainbow Scenes, which finished on Friday.

(I do not know at this moment if the “Piss Christ” was ever shown at this gallery. But I do recall that a large number of complaints were made to every gallery that did exhibit it, and also to the best of my knowledge, not one gallery ever, stopped the showing due to complaints.)

5. Barbara Kay: Our politicians may not care, but Christians are under siege across the world

(A little plausible deniability from The National Post)

It is estimated that about one-third of the globe’s population suffers from religious persecution. By the numbers, Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world.

An Italian study calculates that in 2016, a Christian was killed for his or her faith every six minutes. The trend is accelerating. A 2016 Pew Research report found that Christians were targeted in 144 countries, up from 125 in 2015. The Christian persecution NGO Open Doors revealed in its 2019 Watch List Report that within five years the number of countries classified as demonstrating “extreme” persecution went from one (North Korea) to 11. According to the Center for Studies on New Religions (CESNUR), 70 per cent of them were victims of tribal conflict in Africa alone.

The CESNUR study’s findings have been fleshed out in far greater depth by the Interim Report of an Independent Review into the global persecution of Christians by the Bishop of Truro, the Rt. Rev. Philip Mounstephen, conducted at the behest of Jeremy Hunt, Britain’s Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, and delivered at the end of April. A final report will be delivered in June, but the scope and nature of the problem is amply distilled herein.

6. U.N. to Malta: drop terrorism charges against African migrants accused of hijacking tanker

GENEVA (Reuters) – The United Nations human rights office called on Malta on Tuesday to drop terrorism charges against three African teenage migrants arrested for hijacking a small commercial tanker that rescued their vessel off the coast of Libya.

The three, who have pleaded not guilty, were among 108 Africans rescued by the El Hiblu 1 tanker in late March. They are accused of threatening the crew to try to force the boat to go to Malta and not take them back to Libya.

Many of the migrants, including several children, had been dehydrated and exhibiting “clear signs of torture”, U.N. human rights spokeswoman Ravina Shamdasani said.

The three youths – one from Ivory Coast and two from Guinea – are due to appear in court on May 20, she said.

“The accused, aged 15, 16 and 19, have been charged under Maltese laws for allegedly hijacking the ship and forcing it to go to Malta. Some of the charges are punishable by life imprisonment,” Shamdasani told a news briefing.

(They hijacked the ship of their own rescuers. They should be charged with an offence that would lead to grave consequences. This kind of behaviour cannot be dismissed because of what harm they did to each other before hand. Otherwise we can abandon our justice system altogether as the notion of personal agency is dissolved)

7. Migrants: Mare Jonio leaves Lampedusa for SAR zone

ROME – The Mare Jonio ship operated by NGO Mediterranea Saving Human has left the port of Lampedusa for the area in front of Libya despite a warning from the coast guard against ”carrying out rescue operations in a stable and organized way” because not adequately equipped.

”As of tonight, we will patrol the SAR (search and rescue area) zone 30 miles off Libya’s coast north of Zhuara for a sea of rights and not death”, the NGO tweeted. (ANSAmed)

(The NGOs have one mission. And that is the destruction of classical Europe BAMN)

8. A look at the ethics and values of leftist representatives in the US

(Just one example of the false equivalence in this SJW’s ‘reasoning’ is that they were not at the homes of the girls killing their babies. They were at the factory where the killing is done. So his demand was more threat than equivalence. He clearly intends to doxx the teens there as well, meaning he wants to threaten and intimidate those with whom he does not agree. I do agree that his mother should have had an abortion. So I guess Im somewhere in the middle.)

Apparently, the city of Toronto cancelled the “Al Quds Day” march, a march of massive antisemitism funded and organized by Iran and its proxies for later this month. But it will manifest anyway as a BDS march on a Saturday later this month. On the following Monday, there will be a March for Israel in Toronto but the BDS/Al-Quds people promised to go interfere with it in whatever ways they can. So it promised to be a lively weekend.

The details are below:

Saturday, May 18th, antisemitic March — “Day of Action for Palestine” all across CANADA (sponsored by BDS movement).
See details below
AND:

Monday, May 20th — the annual “Walk with Israel” event (sponsored by UJA, United Jewish Appeal of Toronto) — al Quds sponsors & organizers will begin to “disrupt” the Walk at 9:30 am!

————————————-
Regarding the first event on Saturday, May 18th:

CROSS-CANADA DAY OF ACTION FOR PALESTINE SET FOR MAY 18, 2019

  • Across the Canadian state there is a new majority…
  • against Israeli war crimes,
  • against the Occupation,
  • for the Right of Return for Palestinian Refugees,
  • for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions,
  • to End Canadian Complicity with Israeli Apartheid,
  • for Self-determination for the Palestinian people.

The Canadian BDS Coalition, with the clear aim of celebrating this new majority by making it visible on the streets of this country, appeals to everyone seeing this message, to every working class and progressive organization, to demonstrate on Saturday, May 18 in solidarity with the above demands.

Please plan street actions to occur in your city, in your community on May 18. You may wish to initiate activities prior to that date, in the week that marks Nakba 71. That’s great. But please undertake to organize powerful, visible manifestations of our solidarity with the Palestinian people on the common target date, May 18.

Please let us know that you endorse this Call to Action. Tell us what your group, coalition or campaign plans to do, so that it can be posted on our website, and shared widely across social media. See the poster on the website: http://www.bdscoalition.ca Local activity information can easily be added by you in the space provided at the bottom.

The sound of silence in the Netherlands

The following is from Dr. VanHelsing:

“On May 4th, the Dutch people remember those who were killed during WWII, both civil and military victims.

It is custom to have two minutes of silence from 8 pm to 8.02 pm that day, every year. The video shows the remembrance ceremony in a former concentration camp in Vught, a village in the south of the country. During the two minutes of silence, voices can be heard from the nearby prison.

The prisoners are shouting ‘allahu akbar’. It turns out that these were convicted terrorists of the islamic faith who are held in the high safety wing of the prison, also known as the terrorist wing.”

Thank you C. And Dr. VanHelsing

Chemnitz in the classroom: A teacher gets framed

The following video, based on the voice over, I would assume at least, is what made it to the Austrian public as one cannot help but feel sympathy for the poor, vulnerable and hard working students over this nasty bad tempered white Austrian teacher:

It was so well edited and spun, it reminded me of the whole Migrant hunting episode in Chemnitz, where the chief of internal intel was actually removed from his post for exposing the scam, where carefully edited ANTIFA footage was sold to the public as proof of Germans, enraged over migrant rape and murder of local girls, went and hunted some migrants on the streets.

MissPiggy translated the video above some days ago and although I have a lot of text articles explaining why actually happened there is nothing like more contextually accurate video to explain the case for itself:

Searchlight as well as other citizen journalists, are desperately trying to pick up the slack for what, more and more obviously, has become Soviet like propaganda organs for the leftist-Islamic cabal, which has somehow taken over governments across the West.

Please read more over at Searchlight.

Thank you László, for the additional footage.

Vienna: Pupils incited to bullying by teachers?

The accusations against the Viennese vocational school in the Ottakring district are becoming more and more outrageous: According to the latest information, teachers at the school have actively encouraged pupils to mob the professor who has now come into the focus of the action! Other teachers are even said to have incited the students to harass their collegue in order to get rid of him. The result:

the teacher was harassed by the young students for months. He was thrown with paper balls, whistled directly into his ear with a whistle and was literally surrounded by students. There are videos of all these actions that are currently circulating on the Internet. krone.at is now aware of the names of two of the teachers who are said to have incited the students to bullying. Some of the shifts in the political landscape today: Links 2, May 6, 2019

1. URGENT PRAYER: 25 Christians in Nigeria killed by Boko Haram in door-to-door attacks

They came at night. And they came with death on their minds. On Monday, April 29, around 8 pm, Boko Haram fighters invaded the Christian community of Kuda near Madagali in Adamawa State in northeastern Nigeria. The terrorists surrounded the community and went door to door, killing as many as 25 people.

The next day, they returned.

As security agents and community members prepared for the burials of their loved ones, Boko Haram members were spotted approaching for a second attack on the grieving community. As a result, funeral preparations were abandoned as bereaved believers, those from neighboring communities and security agents fled.

Since the attack, many more villagers have fled the town. Christian leaders in the area told Open Doors, “We are in danger, we have no one to fight for us to end this killing of our people.”

2. Sri Lanka Expels 200 Islamic Clerics After Easter Attacks

COLOMBO:

Sri Lanka has expelled over 600 foreign nationals, including around 200 Islamic clerics, since the Easter suicide bombings blamed on a local terror group, a minister told AFP Sunday.

Home Affairs Minister Vajira Abeywardena said the clerics had entered the country legally, but amid a security crackdown after the attacks were found to have overstayed their visas, for which fines were imposed and they were expelled from the island.

“Considering the current situation in the country, we have reviewed the visas system and took a decision to tighten visa restrictions for religious teachers,” Abeywardena said.

“Out of those who were sent out, about 200 were Islamic preachers.”

The Easter Sunday bombings that killed 257 people and wounded nearly 500 were led by a local cleric who is known to have travelled to India and had made contact with terrorists there.

3. IDF has a message for terror groups in Gaza. (And its a pretty matter of fact one at that)

5. Kuwait to jail those who eat in public during Ramadan

(Should have let Saddam have them)

Kuwait City: People eating in public during the days of the Muslim fasting of Ramadan in Kuwait risk jailing and a fine, a security official was quoted as saying on Monday.

In Ramadan, Muslims have to abstain from eating, drinking and smoking from dawn to sunset.

According to the Kuwaiti law, fast-breaking in public during this period is an offence punishable by a maximum one month in prison or a fine of 100 dinars, acting head of public relations at the Interior Ministry, Brig. Tawheed Al Kandari said, according to Al Anba newspaper.

The law applies to Muslims and non-Muslims.

“Citizens and expats have to observe values, traditions and respect feelings of the fasters,” he added.

Oil-rich Kuwait is home to a large community of foreign workers.

Brig. Al Kandari also vowed a crackdown on beggars during the holy month in residential areas and marketplaces as well as outside mosques.

(So, I guess the whole thing about charity during Ramadan is a bunch of bollox as well then)

6. The Left Is Desperate To Get The Narrative Back

7. Trump pardons ex-U.S. soldier who killed Iraqi prisoner

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has pardoned a former U.S. soldier convicted in 2009 of killing an Iraqi prisoner, the White House announced Monday.

Trump signed an executive grant of clemency, a full pardon, for former Army 1st Lt. Michael Behenna, of Oklahoma, press secretary Sarah Sanders said.

Behenna was convicted of unpremeditated murder in a combat zone after killing a suspected al-Qaida terrorist in Iraq. He was paroled in 2014 and had been scheduled to remain on parole until 2024.

A military court had sentenced Behenna to 25 years in prison. However, the Army’s highest appellate court noted concern about how the trial court had handled Behenna’s claim of self-defense, Sanders said. The Army Clemency and Parole Board also reduced his sentence to 15 years and paroled him as soon as he was eligible.

Behenna’s case attracted broad support from the military, Oklahoma elected officials and the public, Sanders said. She added that Behenna was a model prisoner while serving his sentence, and “in light of these facts, Mr. Behenna is entirely deserving” of the pardon.
