The sound of silence in the Netherlands

The following is from Dr. VanHelsing:

“On May 4th, the Dutch people remember those who were killed during WWII, both civil and military victims.

It is custom to have two minutes of silence from 8 pm to 8.02 pm that day, every year. The video shows the remembrance ceremony in a former concentration camp in Vught, a village in the south of the country. During the two minutes of silence, voices can be heard from the nearby prison.

The prisoners are shouting ‘allahu akbar’. It turns out that these were convicted terrorists of the islamic faith who are held in the high safety wing of the prison, also known as the terrorist wing.”

Thank you C. And Dr. VanHelsing

  1. Very fitting. And let tards out of prison, I say. Give them their little Dutch Gaza.

    • Every Western Nation is has its own Gaza forming in all of the no go zones. The only question is when will they explode?

      • The “Gazas” don’t really need to ever explode to be successful. As long as the “Gaza” creates a contested red zone that serves the purpose of making the host country a little more miserable to live in they are serving their purpose just fine. Their thinking is that, even if it takes a thousand years, the Infidels will grow weary of the constant misery then eventually lose heart and say, “Anything has to be better than this constant conflict” and simply give up and convert to Islam. They have all the time in the world and don’t mind waiting a hundred years to get the deal they want, which is heads I win, tails you lose…

        • Granted they don’t have to explode but I don’t see any way the Jihadist leaders can stop the explosion, the Islamic Invaders aren’t the best disciplined people in the world.

        • 1000 years!
          – – Ha! you optimist.

They won’t stay in their zone; it’ll serve as a base for attacks on the perimeter.

No more taqiyya-charm; you’ll face naked hatred, unapologetic cruelty.

          “Weariness”?
          – – Not when you’re practicing “situational awareness”, constantly on edge between atrocities.

  2. This seems to be the event.

Originally, Vught was divided into two sections: the first one (Judendurchgangslager – JDL) was designed to hold the Jewish prisoners before their transit to Germany the transfers were done in two transports: from Vught to Westerbork then from Westerbock to the extermination camps. The pending transfer of Jewish prisoners to Westerbock never created panic: many of the Jews thought that they would stay permanently in Westerbock. They didn’t know that Westerbock was just a “waiting room“ before their extermination.
The second section of Vught was designed as a security camp (Schutzhaftlager). This section received all the Dutch and Belgian political prisoners, men and women.
Like any other Nazi concentration camp, Vught had its own gallows and crematorium.

      • For contrast, the Pallywood exposes show staging of scenes, with breaks and re-takes, but I don’t recall seeing characters giggling and dancing as they prepare for their parts. Do actors consider historical re-enactments a run-of-the-mill theatrical gig? What is going on in the minds of the actors taking part in this drama?

        • I watched it and didn’t see anything I considered inappropriate.
I don’t think these were professional actors. The extras certainly were all locals, who probably all know each other.
When a childhood friend dresses up in a Wehrmacht uniform and barks “Schnell, schnell!” and other WWII cliches at you with a dubious accent, you’d smirk too (in between takes).

          • Thanks, C, for humoring me and providing another set of eye. I get that the group is enjoying the fun and novelty and comradery. I get that someone can watch the scenes and not find inappropriate reactions. Maybe imagine teens re-enacting My Lai and joking in between takes. Maybe imagine American teens whose parents are from Vietnam doing so. At some point there is too much discomfort with the material to break character so readily. But apparently not in the case where the locals might have a relationship to something that happened around the camp or just my being too sensitive to the ironies of mixing past and present.

  3. Color me skeptical. Only the little girl in pink asks, “What is going on”? Let’s see if the official museum video can filter out the noisy background. In the meantime, I am more concerned about the actors giggling and dancing as they play SS guards.
Courtesy of MS and Google translate here’s this on the titles.

So sounded the disturbance in Vught.
Cries and shouts from nearby PI Vught Penitentiary began during the two-minute silence.
For minutes, detainees called out from their cell[s?]. Allah is the greatest.
The eight screaming prisoners are immediately
    put into an isolation cell.
They were in the PI terrorist department.

The alleged cry requires finessing with Google translate, using Arabic as the source language:

    — Ah. Now, this odd website has relevant data, supporting the video’s conclusions. The Netherlands is so small that these prisoners get housed near civilization?
    https://www.secret-bases.co.uk/wiki/Nieuw_Vosseveld
Penitentiaire Inrichting Vught (English: Penitentiary Institution Vught) is now the general term used instead of Nieuw Vosseveld. Part of Nieuw Vosseveld is a maximum security prison; it holds some of Europe’s most dangerous criminals including Islamic terrorists Mohammed Bouyeri and Samir Azzouz.
The EBI presently [undated] has a capacity of 18 detainees, and an occupation of on average 9 detainees.
Amongst the criminals currently imprisoned at Nieuw Vosseveld are:
Samir Azzouz, terrorist with ties to the Hofstad Network
Mohammed Bouyeri, murderer of Theo van Gogh
Willem Holleeder, one of the perpetrators in the kidnapping of Freddy Heineken
    Curtis Warren, British drug trafficker

  5. So, the video is not the full story because it appears that every day a dozen murderers serving time near a museum scream about Allah whether or not there is a commemoration going on.

    • Where did you get that?
And note that these guys were in their individual cells, and all started screaming at the same time. It was coordinated and planned, according to prison staff.

      • Ah. “It appears” means “without evidence to the contrary.” Now you are providing more information — staff spoke with someone, individual cells, starting and stopping points. Those bits were’t where I could find them.

Each person has a different bar for accepting evidence from film. Mine would need to have two videos side-by-side — during commemoration and not during commemoration — same time of day, with a date-time stamp or something. That is asking too much time from anyone to do other than by happenstance. But certainly, is there a posted video from last year’s commemoration? And the museum video of this year’s is supposed to come out. Will the noise somehow be filtered out, or will it be a silent video?

      • My mind is still minimising this — what do you expect from a nation’s number one enemies? Do you think that America’s terrorists would act differently if we could hear them from their Colorado prison? Is the point that the citizens pretend to ignore the verbal attacks?

  6. So, the video is not the full story because it appears that every day a dozen murderers serving time in a max security prison near a museum scream about Allah whether or not there is a commemoration going on.
