Secure Arkansas organized a rally in rememberance of the first terrorist attack since 9/11. Pvt. William Long was killed and Pvt. Quinton I. Ezeagwula was wounded by Carlos Leon (aka Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad). Channel 11 was the only TV crew out there with a camera, and the AR Dem Gazette sent a reporter and a photographer. The event had several speakers who did a wonderful job. Video footage of them will be uploaded soon. However, the most shocking part of the event was when a muslim fanatic crashed the event. The fanatic drove by and yelled at us, then parked in the parking lot and stood out with a homemade sign yelling anti-American and later anti-Semetic comments. Had this been a ceremony for Tiller, this would have been the top story for both local and national media. Since it isn’t a top story, it’s up to you to send this to as many people as possible.

The Taliban will ‘never be defeated’

An interesting read from  The Times Online

Colonel Imam’, the Pakistani agent who trained Mullah Omar and the warlords to fight the Soviets, says the US must negotiate with its enemiestaleban_522659a1

“You can never win the war in Afghanistan,” said so-called “Colonel Imam”, who ran a training programme for the Afghan resistance to the Soviet Union’s occupation from 1979 to 1989, then helped to form the Taliban.

“I have worked with these people since the 1970s and I tell you they will never be defeated. Anyone who has come here has got stuck. The more you kill, the more they will expand.”

A tall, bearded figure, whose real name is Amir Sultan Tarar, he trained at Fort Bragg, the US army base where America’s special forces are stationed.

During the late 1970s and 1980s he controlled CIA-funded training camps for 95,000 Afghans and often accompanied his students on missions.

After the Soviet defeat and the collapse of communism, he was invited to the White House by the first President George Bush and was given a piece of the Berlin Wall with a brass plaque inscribed: “To the one who dealt the first blow.”

Today western intelligence agencies believe Imam is among a group of renegade officers from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) who continued to help the Taliban after Pakistan turned against them following the attacks of September 11, 2001. Continue Reading →

Mother caned in Bangladesh for talking to Hindu man

DHAKA (AFP) – A Muslim mother has been caned for talking to a Hindu man in Bangladesh, police said Saturday, prompting fresh concerns about a rise in cases of harsh treatment of women under strict Islamic law. The punishment was carried out in a remote village in Muslim-majority Bangladesh on the orders of village elders, local police chief Enamul Monowar told AFP by telephone.

The village elders found Kamala Begum, 38, a mother of four, guilty under Islamic sharia law of chatting with an unidentified Hindu man, Monowar said. Hindus make up around 10 percent of Bangladesh’s population.

“The villagers got bundles of 25 sticks and hit her four times on the back. They claimed it was a symbolic punishment. But she’s humiliated and has been in great mental pain,” Monowar said. Continue Reading →

Dutch freedom party ‘gain’ in EU poll

geert

Exit polls showed late on Thursday that Mr Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) was on course of winning just over 15% of votes in the Netherlands.

from the BBC

A right-wing Dutch lawmaker’s party has made big gains in European Parliament elections, exit polls suggest.

They say Geert Wilders’ Freedom party will win four of the 25 Dutch seats in the parliament, just one behind the country’s Christian Democrats.

Dutch and British voters were the first to go to the polls to elect the EU’s most powerful legislative body.

Some 375 million people in 27 member states are eligible to vote. Most will cast their ballots over the weekend.

Voters are deciding who is elected to the 736 seats up for grabs under various forms of proportional representation.

Polls closed in the Netherlands at 1900 GMT and in Britain at 2100 GMT on Thursday.

Observers will be watching to see if turnout is higher than in 2004, when only 45% exercised their right to vote.

In the UK, elections were also held in some areas for local councils.

The results of both polls are keenly awaited to see how they might affect the national political scene, following weeks of turmoil over MPs’ expenses claims.

The vote is seen as a crucial test for the governing Labour Party, with a general election due within a year. Three senior ministers resigned earlier this week.

Irish voters go to the polls on Friday. Latvia, Cyprus, Malta and Slovakia vote on Saturday, while the Czech Republic and Italy vote over Friday and Saturday, and Saturday and Sunday respectively. People in the remaining 18 member states will vote on Sunday.

‘For the Netherlands’

Exit polls showed late on Thursday that Mr Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) was on course of winning just over 15% of votes in the Netherlands.

If confirmed, the result is second only to Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende’s Christian Democrats (CDA), which dropped alsmost 5% to just under 20% of the vote.

The polls showed that the party’s governing coalition partner, the PvdA, was the biggest loser – down nearly 10% to about 14% of the Dutch vote.

“We dare to talk about sensitive subjects like Islamisation and we use plain and simple words that the voter can understand,” Mr Wilders has said.

Mr Wilders was refused entry to Britain in February on the grounds that he had sought to incite hatred with a film he made last year that equated Islam with violence and likened the Koran to Mein Kampf.

The controversial politician is also facing prosecution in the Netherlands for making anti-Islamic statements, following a court ruling the previous month.

Despite the charges many Dutch voters seem to like what Mr Wilders is saying, the BBC’s Geraldine Coughlan in The Hague reports.

His party was campaigning under the motto “For the Netherlands” and was extremely anti-EU, our correspondent says. Mr Wilders has said he will not take up his seat if elected as an MEP.

Polls show that Euroscepticism among Dutch voters has increased since the last European elections, with EU enlargement and integration the most unpopular issues, our correspondent adds.

Across Europe, far-right parties are hoping to win at least 15 seats. However, the centre-right European People’s Party bloc is expected to remain the main force, followed by the European Socialists.

U.S. Lawmakers Call on Saudi Government to Stop Using ‘Hate Speech’ in Textbooks

saudi_in_the_classroom-1from Fox News

Reps. Weiner, Crowley and Berkley called on the Saudi government to stop planting what they said were seeds of hate in Saudi children through religious textbooks

Three U.S. lawmakers appealed to the Saudi government Wednesday to stop using religious textbooks that they say promote hatred and religious intolerance.

The appeal from the three Democrats came on the eve of President Obama’s much-anticipated speech to the Muslim world during a five-day journey to Saudi Arabia and Egypt in an attempt to smooth over bumpy relations between the U.S. and Arab countries. Obama met Wednesday afternoon with Saudi King Abdullah.

Reps. Anthony Weiner and Joseph Crowley of New York and Shelley Berkley of Nevada held a news conference to call on the Saudi government to stop planting what they said were seeds of hate in Saudi children through religious textbooks that teach controversial lessons, such as the hour of judgment will not come until Muslims fight the Jews and kill them.

“This is not some rogue document,” Weiner said. “This is the position of the Saudi government. … If we’re going to solve the generational conflicts, it’s important not to hate one another.”

Congress has tackled controversial textbooks before. Last year, a congressional report denounced portions of religious textbooks used at an Islamic school in Northern Virginia.

The school, in response to the report, deleted from its texts some of the most contentious passages, including references to Jihad, killing infidels and hatred of Jews and Christians. But critics say the revised books still are “toxic” and contain more subtle references, such as criticism of secular forms of government.

Rep. Berkley on Wednesday declared that peace won’t come to the Middle East until this issue is resolved.

“We hope this will be part of the discussion President Obama has with the Saudi leaders,” Berkley said.

Rep. Weiner urged the Saudi government to act immediately.

“What they say is that they’ll fix it next year, next year, next year,” he said. “But the time is up.”

Obama’s big fat lie’s

Well if President Hussein wanted to show his Muslim roots, he did so today by telling the same lies Muslims have been repeating for years. The biggest lie Muslims want the west to believe is that Islam is responsible for so many scientific advances. When the truth is, the scholars and scientists belonged to cities and states captured by Islam. Convert to Islam or become a second class citizen in your home was the option for most. The fact that the book of Optics, Islams claim to fame, was written from a prison cell is testament to Islams lie.

Here is a great bit on Obamas speech from  The Charlotte Capitalist

The other glaring, bald faced lie by this piss-ant Obama, is how Morocco was the first nation to recognize the United States as an independent country.

Obama the Enabler is makes reference to the treaty of Tripoli circa. 1797. First it was not a treaty but a payoff  to stop Islamic state sponsored pirate attacks on American vessels.

Treaty of Peace and Friendship between the United States of America and the Bey and Subjects of Tripoli of Barbary

On the arrival of a consul of the United States in Tripoli he is to deliver to Jussuf Bashaw Bey-

twelve thousand Spanish dollars
five hawsers-8 Inch
three cables-10 Inch
twenty five barrels tar
twenty five d° pitch
ten d° rosin
five hundred pine boards
five hundred oak d°
ten masts (without any measure mentioned, suppose for vessels from 2 to 300 ton)
twelve yards
fifty bolts canvas
four anchors

And these when delivered are to be in full of all demands on his part or on that of his successors from the United States according as it is expressed in the tenth article of the following treaty. And no farther demand of tributes, presents or payments shall ever be made.

Obama in Cairo

[kaltura-widget wid=”xjltwe4zyo” width=”410″ height=”364″ addpermission=”3″ editpermission=”3″ /]Apparently there is another Islam out there. Listen as Obama makes reference to this peaceful, tolerant and progressive Islam.

Transcript of Obama’s June 04 speech in Cairo

I am honored to be in the timeless city of Cairo, and to be hosted by two remarkable institutions. For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning, and for over a century, Cairo University has been a source of Egypt’s advancement. Together, you represent the harmony between tradition and progress. I am grateful for your hospitality, and the hospitality of the people of Egypt. I am also proud to carry with me the goodwill of the American people, and a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: assalaamu alaykum.

We meet at a time of tension between the United States and Muslims around the world – tension rooted in historical forces that go beyond any current policy debate. The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of co-existence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam.

Violent extremists have exploited these tensions in a small but potent minority of Muslims. The attacks of September 11th, 2001 and the continued efforts of these extremists to engage in violence against civilians has led some in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights. This has bred more fear and mistrust. Continue Reading →

Ahmadinejad calls Holocaust a “great deception”

2007_09_24t192413_450x301_us_iran_ahmadinejad_scene

TEHRAN (Reuters) – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called the Holocaust a great deception on Wednesday, reiterating a view that has been denounced by moderate rivals in this month’s election.

The conservative president, quoted by state broadcaster IRIB, made the remark during a speech containing his latest verbal assault on Israel, which the Islamic Republic does not recognize.

Describing Israel as “the most criminal regime in human history” he went on to refer to the “great deception of the Holocaust.”

Ahmadinejad’s critics, including reformists and even some fellow conservatives, say his fiery anti-Western speeches and his questioning of the Holocaust have isolated Iran, which is at odds with the West over its nuclear ambitions. Continue Reading →

Al Qaeda Beheads British Hostage in Mali

I guarantee the last thing he heard as they sawed his head off was how great Allah is.edwin-dyer-feb-09mali1

from Fox News

A British man being held hostage in Mali has been executed, his captors said Wednesday, prompting strong condemnation from Britain of a “barbaric” act.

Edwin Dyer was one of four European tourists kidnapped on Jan. 22 as they returned from a music festival.

Messages posted on Islamic Web sites indicated that they were being held by Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), a 300-strong Islamist terror group that operates in the desert borderlands of Mali, Algeria, Niger and Mauritania.

Despite intense behind-the-scenes negotiations by British and local officials in Mali, the hostage-takers claimed that they had carried out their threat to kill Dyer.

Gordon Brown said there was “strong reason” to believe that this was true. “I utterly condemn this appalling and barbaric act of terrorism,” the Prime Minister said. “My thoughts are with Edwin Dyer’s family. I offer them the condolences of the whole country.”

Dyer, who had been working in Austria and spoke fluent German, was on vacation in West Africa with German travel operator Oase Reisen. He was abducted, along with Warens and Gabriela Greiner, a Swiss couple, and Marianne Petzold, a German woman, near the border with Niger after attending the “Festival in the Desert,” a celebration of music and nomad culture at Anderamboukane in Mali. Israel to Obama: “No You Can’t!”

You have to admit. For a guy with so much on his plate at home, Obama sure seems preoccupied with Israel and it’s affairs.

nopefrom CFP

North Korea is launching missiles, Iran is building nukes, Saudi Arabia is sponsoring hate that translates into worldwide terrorism, Sudan is still massacring and raping, China is busy ethnic cleansing Tibet into a Chinese province… but the Obama Administration is furious, yes “furious” at only one country, Israel.

What did Israel do? Well it’s building a hotel in Jerusalem.

Washington is furious over the Interior Ministry’s anticipated approval of a plan to build a new hotel in East Jerusalem, just 100 meters from the Old City’s walls. In conversations with Israeli officials, senior American officials have made it clear that they want Israel to freeze all plans for expanding the Jewish presence in East Jerusalem, and especially in the Holy Basin – the area adjacent to the Old City.

What right does Israel have building a hotel in its own capital anyway? So far we’ve had Secretary of State Hillary Clinton demand an end to Jewish babies being born, as if she were Pharaoh dressed up in a power suit. The administration has demanded an absolute freeze on settlements, with Jerusalem to be viewed as a “settlement” too, in exchange for Abbas and Hamas, maybe sorta stepping up their security cooperation. The double standard here isn’t exactly hard to find.

The Muslim world can build nukes (Iran), commit genocide (Sudan), occupy anyplace they want including the territory of a NATO ally (Turkey), and Obama will come hat in hand to them, bearing apologies and huge aid packages. Continue Reading →

Alberta passes law allowing parents to pull kids out of class

Canadians allowed to sue terrorists and legally involve themselves in their children’s education.

Good intentions aside, the fangs and claws of these new laws don’t exist.

As for the first, who will you sue? How many nations are on the terrorism watch list in Canada?  Let’s be real, unless some government is willing to admit they sponsor terrorism, all you win is the is a piece of paper that tells you so. Plus it give Canadians the false impression that you can fight terrorism in the court room.

The Alberta law will probably be changed right after the first dozen or so law suits from angry parents.  Angry their children can’t go to school, as so much of the curriculum is offencive to them and or their culture/religion.  So unless Alberta is willing to foot the bill for lots of tutors, this law is doomed. Which really is to bad because all the law really is, is a legal responsibility on the schools part to keep parents informed of what is being taught to the little ones.

from CBC

Written notice required when sex, sexual orientation, religion are covered

Alberta legislators passed legislation early Tuesday that will give parents the option of pulling their children out of class when lessons on sex, religion or sexual orientation are being taught.

The Alberta legislature held a seven-hour debate on Bill 44 Monday night before it passed third and final reading about 1:30 a.m. MT Tuesday.

“People of Alberta are better off for it and we had the courage to actually bring it forward,” said Lindsay Blackett, the government minister responsible for the bill.

A clause in the bill, which is an amendment to the province’s human rights legislation, requires that school boards give parents written notice when controversial topics are going to be covered in the curriculum. Parents can then ask for their child to be excluded from the discussion.

There will be no restrictions placed on casual classroom discussions that might arise about the topics. Continue Reading →

Continental Pilot Reports Missile Flying Near His Plane Over Texas

What I find interesting about this story is the date of event vs the date reported. The possibility of a missile attack on an American aircraft should garner a little more attention than this. Thankfully the Liberty County sheriff’s department is on the job as homeland security is closely watching the radical Tea Party, and returning vets.

FOX NEWS

A Continental Express pilot reported seeing a “missile or rocket” flying near his aircraft over Texas Friday night, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The pilot told the Federal Aviation Administration an object was spotted within 150 feet below his airplane around 8:15 p.m. Friday night over Liberty County, Texas, the newspaper reported.

“The pilot, from what we understand, was former military,” Cpl. Hugh Bishop of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department told the Chronicle. “He was able to get the coordinates down real quick,” said Cpl. Hugh Bishop with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department.”

But, Bishop said deputies searched for where a missile might have been launched from and found nothing.

The plane was reportedly flying around 13,000 feet.

Liberty County Sheriff’s officials and the FAA were expected to meet today, according to the Chronicle.

The FAA referred all questions to the sheriff’s office, who did not immediately return a call placed by FOXNews.com.

Muslim convert murders American soldier

The initiation fees for Muslim converts seems a little pricey to me

(CNN)

An Arkansas man was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting at a Little Rock military recruiting center that killed one soldier and wounded another, authorities said.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad — a 24-year-old Little Rock resident formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe — faces a first-degree murder charge and 15 counts of engaging in a terrorist act, Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. The terrorist counts stem from the shots fired at an occupied building.

The soldier who was killed was identified as Pvt. William Long, 24, of Conway, and the wounded soldier is Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, 18, of Jacksonville, Thomas said.

Ezeagwula is in stable condition and expected to recover, the police chief said.

Although military officials initially believed that the shooting was a random act, Thomas said police think the shooter acted alone “with the specific purpose of targeting military personnel.”

“I’m relieved there’s a suspect in custody,” said Capt. Matthew Feehan, commander of the center.

Feehan said seven other recruiters were in the building, but nobody else was injured.

Thomas said police recovered three guns from Muhammad’s black Ford SUV: an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a .22-caliber rifle and a pistol.

The victims were just out of basic training and had not been deployed, said Lt. Col. Thomas F. Artis, commander of the Oklahoma recruiting battalion that oversees the Little Rock recruiting center.

The soldiers were part of a recruiting program called “hometown recruiting assistance,” Artis said. Under the program, recruiters have the soldiers tell their stories to potential recruits. It’s a volunteer position taken while soldiers are visiting or based back in their home region, Artis said.

The FBI has opened an investigation into the incident, said Steven Frazier, spokesman for the agency’s Little Rock office. “Based on what we find, we will determine whether there is any federal jurisdiction to prosecute,” he said.
