Reader’s Links for Aug. 3rd, 2026

Each day at just after midnight Eastern, a post like this one is created for contributors and readers of this site to upload news links and video links on the issues that concern this site. Most notably, Islam and its effects on Classical Civilization, and various forms of leftism from Soviet era communism, to postmodernism and all the flavours of galloping statism and totalitarianism such as Nazism and Fascism which are increasingly snuffing out the classical liberalism which created our near, miraculous civilization the West has been building since the time of Socrates.

This document was written around the time this site was created, for those who wish to understand what this site is about. And while our understanding of the world and events has grown since then, the basic ideas remain sound and true to the purpose.

So please post all links, thoughts and ideas that you feel will benefit the readers of this site to the comments under this post each day. And thank you all for your contributions.

This is the new Samizdat. We must use it while we can.

**New intelligence suggests a specific course of action concerning use of Substack. For a variety of reasons, who owns it, and who owns the ONLY company that monetizes authors on Substack, the question for us has always been, ‘Why is Substack allowed to exist?” I believe the answer is now known to us. It collects data on you and who you are connected to. Substack does have the best writers out there for counter-narrative views, and does allow the authors to make money at it. Which is suspicious already. But the reasons were made known to us by a Cyber-security professional. The solution seems to be to use a dedicated browser, ONLY for substack. There are many good ones out there now. So downloading another browser is easy. Get the DuckduckGo go one, or Brave or one of many others and use it ONLY for substack and clear cookies after use. Like washing your plate after you eat.

For those interested, please check out https://vladtepesblog.substack.com/ as an another avenue of expression. The Substack is a different project in a sense. It is older videos that in the light of subsequent events, look different or of increased importance, Check it out now and again if you like. But use it safely.

ADDENDUM:

This site operates more at the philosophical level of the communist/Islamic revolution which is obliterating Western Civilization. Politics, culture, law are all down stream from philosophy. Understanding the philosophy of the attack is to understand what is an attack and develop tactics, both individually and collectively against them. The attack comes entirely (so far) in the form of Dialectics. To understand dialectics, watch and read everything you can by Maj. (Ret.) Stephen Coughlin.

Here is a repost of the simplest explanation, or at least the shortest one, we have been able to think of so far (Placed here by request)

We as humans communicate mostly via conventions. In other words, we decide what a word means by what we, as a culture want it to mean, then fix the term as a convention via a dictionary

or other means so we can express what we want to each other and be understood. It’s a group process more or less but based on what we want expressions, words, concepts and taxonomy to mean.

Dialectics is the imposition of meaning on existing terms for a political outcome which is destructive to what we all consider meaning. It is a complete hijacking of Meaning.

This also applies to taxonomy. The most underrated aspect of epistemology. Of how we see ourselves. Of how we understand the world, via categories. Via labels.

Dialectical taxonomy is what forces us to change everything we think about sexuality and accept political sexuality such as the Trans-movement.

Or somehow convincing everyone that the German National Socialist Worker’s Party is somehow “far right wing”, which may be the most masterful dialectical con of the 20th century.

This deserves a proper essay. But I just want to get the thought out there.

Imposing, forcing meaning on us. Changing terms to mean what a group of tyrants what us to think they mean as opposed to what they do mean and more or less always have meant.

Making words mean something other than what we meant them to mean, then banning or criminalizing them because of their imputed meaning, even though they were good, useful terms that helped hold our culture together.

Attacking us for using perfectly good words with important meanings, then telling us what we meant by what we said, then cancelling us for it in the pre-revolutionary stage, and now in the UK outright arrest you now that the revolution is all but complete.

That is dialectics.

    • Yup and its not just Europe, the Comintern is trying to destroy all of civilization in the mistaken belief that the radical left will be able to take over the world. In reality they are destroying all modern civilizations and creating a massive time of instability that will create many small wars that will mimic a major war.

  1. The reality was I did not know exactly how much gravel I needed for the new foundation. I was on the telephone with the supplier and he was asking for the answer in tons, not cubic feet. So while I had him on the line I asked AI on my computer. It spat out 20 tons, so that is what I ordered. Turned out to be wildly inaccurate–three times more than I needed. The lesson I learned was to distrust AI, and I am not even a frequent user.

Ted Kaczynski was right all along. Artists rendering reality has been a perfectly human endeavor forever. What is to become of us when the reality we render is based on an AI rendering of our reality? The answer is we become lost. Once our tether to what is real is severed we are set adrift, and will be quickly swept away in the overpowering current of machine-generated pseudo-life. What can be more dangerous to the human animal, the fragile human mind?

  2. Taxpayer-Funded Islamic Commission Raises ‘Preferential Treatment’ Concerns

By Pedro Rodriguez Daily Signal, July 31, 2026:
Massachusetts lawmakers are taking steps toward using taxpayer dollars to prioritize the hiring of American Muslims for state government positions through a permanent so-called Islamic commission, sparking concerns that the Left is prioritizing a religion that contradicts its own political agenda.

If enacted, Bill S.2134, “An Act promoting the civil rights and inclusion of American Muslims in the commonwealth,” would create a “permanent” commission to help recommend Americans who practice Islam for appointed government positions in the New England state.
The commission, as stated in the bill, would consist of a panel of 11 Muslims appointed by Democrat Gov. Maura Healey and other state officials to represent the Islamic faith on issues such as business, the economy, health care, and other concerns.

The commission will be responsible for executing eight different tasks, which include serving as a liaison between the Muslim American community and the government, researching “Islamophobia,” recommending Muslim Americans for positions in the government, and undertaking “activities designed to enable the commonwealth to realize the full benefit of the skills, talents, and cultural heritage of American Muslims.”

“The commission shall … [e]valuate the commonwealth’s hate crime statutes and whether any amendments would better protect residents from Islamophobia and other similar forms of hatred,” the bill says.

The Muslim commission would influence government recruiting and “identify and recommend qualified American Muslims for appointive positions at all levels of government, including boards and commissions, as the commission considers necessary and appropriate,” according to language in the bill.

Democrat state Sen. Jamie Eldridge, who introduced the bill, said he did so because “Massachusetts has always prided itself on being a leader in equality and civil rights, a legacy this bill builds upon.”

“American Muslims in my district and across the Commonwealth enrich our communities as students, health care workers, educators, small business owners, and civic leaders,” Eldridge added in the press release on the proposal. “This commission will help the state better understand and address the challenges they face, while strengthening inclusion and civic participation…”

      REPORT: AL-QAEDA’S BASE AT MIT

A new documentary by Americans for Peace & Tolerance [APT] showcases a troubling finding: al-Qaeda has a base at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Once again, we learn how the goals of diversity, inclusivity, multiculturalism, and the increasing foreign student population in our tertiary education system are national security threats.

The APT report by Ilya Feoktistov and Charles Jacobs focuses on Suheil Laher, MIT’s Muslim chaplain for nearly 20 years. Laher still preaches, now at the Islamic Society of Boston, which, as the APT notes, is the “extremist mosque founded by MIT students near campus, where the Tsarnaevs [the Boston Marathon bombers, Chechen refugees Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev] worshipped during their radicalization.

“…[In the late 1990s, there were students at MIT who helped recruit for the Chechen jihad and raised funds for al-Qaeda-affiliated groups operating in the Tsarnaevs’ homeland.” Laher apparently led this fundraising effort.…

Following the conviction of Omar Abdel-Rehman – the “Blind Sheikh” behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing – the APT report notes that “Boston’s Care International took over as al-Qaeda’s main base in the United States.”

  4. HOW CHINA IS USING IRAN | Michael Doran
John Anderson Media Jul 31, 2026 Conversations

Geopolitical expert Michael Doran argues that Middle East stability depends on the U.S. winning its long war with Iran. He warns the “rabid dog” regime remains a paused but persistent danger.

Doran also unpacks how China is using the Middle East as a laboratory to test how America defends against missiles and drones before any move on Taiwan. He warns that anti-ship ballistic missiles supplied to Iran and the Houthis exist for one purpose: sinking American aircraft carriers.
