Islamists want to create a parallel society in Canada

Islamist groups seek ‘parallel society’ in Canada: report

“At a minimum, the existence of such mini-societies undermines resilience and the fostering of a cohesive Canadian nation,” a new Candian intelligence report on Islamic “parallel societies” says.

Stewart Bell, National Post · Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010

TORONTO — A newly released intelligence report says hardline Islamist groups want to build a “parallel society” in Canada, which could undermine the country’s social cohesion and foster violence.

The de-classified Intelligence Assessment obtained by the National Post says extremists have been encouraging Muslims in the West to reject Western society and to live in “self-imposed isolation.” The report focuses on groups such as the Muslim Brotherhood and Hizb-ut-Tahrir, which do not advocate terrorist violence but promote an ideology at odds with core Western values.

“Even if the use of violence is not outwardly expressed, the creation of isolated communities can spawn groups that are exclusivist and potentially open to messages in which violence is advocated,” it says. “At a minimum, the existence of such mini-societies undermines resilience and the fostering of a cohesive Canadian nation.”

The report was written by the Integrated Threat Assessment Centre, which monitors threats to Canada’s national security and is composed of representatives of CSIS, the RCMP, Foreign Affairs, National Defence and other agencies.

It was circulated internally last year after Hizb-ut-Tahrir invited Muslims to a conference in Mississauga, Ont., to discuss the establishment of an Islamic caliphate. A copy of the document was recently released under the Access to Information Act.

“While the issue of violence by Islamist groups has continued to be a counter-terrorism priority for Western governments and particularly security services for many years, Islamist social ideology appears to have gone unstudied, precisely because the use of violence is either unsupported or understated,” it says. “Nevertheless, several Islamist movements advocate a rejection of Western society and mores, and encourage self-imposed isolation of Muslims in the West.”

It says Islamists believe that Islam should govern all aspects of society and that Sharia law and state law should be “synchronized.” Extremists forced to flee Muslim-majority countries such as Egypt now preach these beliefs in the West, it says, adding, “By definition, their world views clash with secular ones. A competition for the hearts and minds of the diaspora Muslims has hence begun.”

“Some Islamists advocate isolationism and the establishment of a parallel society,” it says. “Isolationism can lead to conditions where extreme messages can incubate and eventually become the catalyst for violence. At a minimum, isolationism undermines a multicultural and democratic society.”

The report notes that Mennonites and Doukhobors have also sought to isolate themselves form the mainstream. “Why then, should Canadians be worried about Islamist extremists who reject democracy or isolate themselves from non-Muslims?” it asks.

But activist Tarek Fatah said there is a difference. “You can talk about the Mennonites but the Mennonites’ aim in life is not to destroy Western civilization, it is seclusion.”

Internet debate between Abu Ahmed Abdullah & Ken Maynard

Here is something unusual. A debate between 2 parties entirely done in the comments. I look forward to reading it. Keep it civil gentleman, unless you don’t want to then don’t. Always better to show your real feelings than fake ones people might be more willing to digest I suspect.

In any case, please carry on. I will check in daily to see how its going.

Enjoy!

Excrement Thrown on Church in Avignon

From GalliaWatch:

I saw this story late last night while browsing through François Desouche. It’s one of many similar stories of church destruction and profanation. This time, however, the parish priest says it is connected to the recent brutal killings of Christians in Iraq. The following is from the local paper Avignews:

Wednesday, the church of Saint-Jean. Father Gabriel, the parish priest, speaks to the press almost in desperation. For several months his church has been the target of insulting and obscene graffiti, and of excrement… Last week the cypress tree next to the building (photo above) was set on fire, threatening the church itself. For the priest, “these acts have a direct connection with what has been happening in Iraq where Christians are being attacked.” Right away father Gabriel speaks of inter-ethnic tensions and denounces the “climate that is becoming more and more aggressive and violent because of a small group of young persons whose ages range from 12 to 16.” At first, father Gabriel thought it was a matter of “incivilities” by young idle neighborhood youth. Foolishness from teens trying to provoke.

Q&A session with Phelim McAleer, maker of ‘Not Evil Just Wrong’ and ‘Mine Your Own Business’

This was the Q&A session with the audience after a screening of his film, Not Evil Just Wrong’. I really loved the way he handled the questions. So direct and honest. Very refreshing. Frankly I think even the people who disagreed with him even found that to be the case. This was from day 2 of Fred Litwin’s Free Thinking Film Festival and took place right before the debate on Canada’s oil sands between Ezra Levant and Elisabeth May, leader of Canada’s Green Party.

Blazing Cat Fur: Your Tax Dollars At Prayer: The “Oldest Hate” in one of Canada’s oldest Mosques

From Blazing Cat Fur. Please click here to read the entire article.

The Arabian Muslim Association of Edmonton is also known as the Canadian Islamic Society which is headquartered in the al Rashid Mosque, one of the oldest in Canada. One of their subsidiaries is the Edmonton Islamic Academy.

In the 1st quarter of 2010 the Arabian Muslim Association and the Edmonton Islamic Academy received $69,008.00 & $30,096.00 respectively under the federal government’s “Communities at Risk: Security Infrastructure Pilot (SIP) Program.”

The SIP Program’s purpose is to “Improve and enhance the safety of Canadian communities at risk of hate-motivated crime through the enhancement of their security infrastructure.”

“Communities at risk of hate motivated crime.”  Remember that.

Let’s have a look at one of the Canadian Islamic Society’s other subsidiaries, the Islamic Investment Corporation (IIC)

“Islamic Investment Corporation (IIC) is a shared entity between Arabian Muslim Association (51%) and Islamic Call Society of Libya (49%).

It is a business venture that deals with real estate properties. The Islamic Investment Corporation is running the following real estate properties…”

Note their partner in this venture: The Islamic Call Society of Libya. What is the Islamic Call Society of Libya?  Well for one it’s more commonly known as the World Islamic Call Society (WICS) and two, it’s bankrolled by Libyan Crazy Man Muammar Gaddafi.

Brainwashing 101

I am posting this actually in response to a comment on Vlad’s youtube channel about the video of the kid who was told to take the US flag off of his bicycle as it was ‘racist’ and that of course, was within the USA.

A fellow youtuber, and a rather excellent one, MartinJWillett posted:

I can understand if he was asked? to remove a foreign flag, but his own country’s flag? That is absurd. If children are offended by the flag of America they should ask their parents to pack up go somewhere else. It doesn’t matter if the flag was being flown by a racist jerk deliberately to be offensive, nobody has the right to expect people not to fly the flag of their own country in their own country.

So for him, and all who are surprised, I am posting this film. Thanks to FOOMF for finding it.

The Muslim UK rememberance disruption is far more insidious than it appears.

I have been struggling over this video for some time. Well since Nov. 11th actually. The thing of it is, the Muslims have a right to free speech don’t they? So when they interrupt the 3 minutes of silence, as distasteful as that is, isn’t that their legal right?

Well, yes, and more importantly, no.

To quote my friend KitmanTV, who wrote ‘Scum’ on this video so that rightfully angry British people would not flag this propaganda video by Anjem Chaudery’s new group, ‘Muslims Against Crusades’, if person A got all the right permits to hold a concert in a park, and then some gang of people, lets say Christian Baptists who think rock music is of the devil perhaps, were to start screaming through a PA and hence destroying the ability of the band to put on a performance, you can bet that the police would escort this gang of sanctimonious morons right to jail for at least long enough to finish the concert.

Yet the police here do nothing.

Then we have (the more fitting perhaps) charge of treason. Most of these Muslims screaming about British soldiers are advocating treason in a fairly clear way. Yet the police seem only ever to arrest members of the EDL, who now, even European media admit nearly never start the violence but leftist thugs operating under the unlikely banner of ‘United Against Fascism’ (while demanding an end to freedom of speech and encouraging the return of medieval legal policies to Europe, go figure) are more typically the ones who plan and execute the violence at these events.

It seems as if the police just stand there and take it when Muslims actually attack the police physically. I am not aware of what Muslims in England can actually do to get arrested in that town, at least during a demonstration. Meanwhile, Tommy Robinson has had his home invaded by police, had his computers taken, his phone, and his parents home was also invaded and trashed by the British police in both cases wielding automatic weapons. “Machine guns”. His pregnant fiancée was arrested and charged with a bogus charge, purely intimidation.

It is almost as if, I mean, well if I had a bent towards conspiracy theories, as if the police have instructions to crush any dissent to the grand project of utterly destroying a British identity and foster the new Islamic culture and rules of England. Almost as if…

Then, we have the recent statements by Herman Van Rompuy president of the European Council:

Last night Van Rompuy gave a speech in which he condemned ‘the danger of a new Euro-scepticism. This is no longer the monopoly of a few countries. In every member state, there are people who believe their country can survive alone in the globalised world. It is more than an illusion. It is a lie!’ [Note, I can’t think of any state in the world outside Burma and North Korea that imagines it can survive alone. What Van R is attacking is any country and any people who imagine they are equipped to run their own state without an undemocratic superstate being in control. Damn shocking, those Swiss.]

‘The biggest enemy of Europe today is fear. Fear leads to egoism, egoism leads to nationalism and nationalism leads to war.’

What’s that old expression? ‘Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t out to get you’? Well I guess by the same token just because most conspiracy theories are utter, and often dangerous, nonsense, doesn’t mean that very real conspiracies are not taking place which intend to obliterate all that you hold if not sacred, at least as important and meaningful.

All of this to say,

“Way to go Tommy” For taking that damn Jihad flag away from those bastards who would destroy our ceremony of remembrance to those great heroes past and present, who defended our nations from threats ranging from Hitler to Al Qaeda.  If the police are under orders to allow the enemy to act with impunity against the people and laws of our great Western nations, then I guess it falls to us to defend ourselves and our past and cultures. You know, and perhaps it always did.

Eeyore for Vlad Tepes.

(More on the EU position on loyalty to ones own country and history and culture unless you are a Bedouin here)

UPDATE: And as if to prove my point, since I wrote and published this, Tommy Robinson was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer and the video of him taking the jihad flag is being removed from all sites quickly.

Interesting 30 second clip from remembrance day in England

Notice how the Muslims present themselves. And while perhaps it was a questionable act by one man to jump the fence and take a banner of the Muslims, frankly, I can’t help but be sympathetic. I mean, the British cannot just go home. They are home. And they have the same right to defend their traditions, history, laws, and peoples than the Saudis do and to be perfectly frank, a great deal more as it is or at least was, a government for, by and of the people.

Shining A Light On Shariah Creep

Investors.com:

Islamofascism: The Council on American-Islamic Relations may wish it never sued to overturn an Oklahoma ban on Shariah law. Now the entire nation will get to see it and other Islamists’ true anti-American colors.

CAIR is thumping its chest over persuading a Clinton-appointed federal judge to temporarily block Oklahoma from enacting a state constitutional amendment that prohibits state courts from considering Islamic law when deciding cases. Fully 70% of Oklahoma voters passed the landmark measure.

But CAIR has ignited a legal firestorm that will likely rage all the way to the Supreme Court. Thanks to CAIR’s latest bit of lawfare, Americans will get to hear a long overdue debate not just about the constitutionality of such bans on Shariah law but about the constitutionality of Shariah law itself.

This is not a debate CAIR wants to have, since it ultimately will have to defend the indefensible. It claims in a press release that Shariah law is “a dynamic legal framework” derived from Islamic scripture “and analytical reasoning.”

In fact, there’s nothing reasoned about it. It’s a medieval legal code that administers cruel and unusual punishments such as stonings, amputations and honor killings. Think the Taliban.

Shariah can be seen in action this week with Pakistan’s death sentence on a Christian woman for blasphemy. Between 1986 and 2009, at least 974 people have been charged for defiling the Quran or insulting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.
