  1. He was so right on almost everything, but I’m afraid I must quibble. He said “Most Americans could never pass” the citizenship test. I’ve heard this so often and it’s so unfair. Why must Americans demean their fellow citizens on this issue? Americans could answer the citizenship test questions when they had to in school many years ago, just as the new citizens pass the test because they have to to get their citizenship today. Like the born Americans, they couldn’t pass the test either if they hadn’t not studied for the test when they had to. BTW I answered all the questions in school 60+ years ago, and I recently took the citizenship test online and aced it.
