Attention Canadians: The time to protect the most basic of real human rights from Trudeau’s near-medieval blasphemy plan is NOW

From Ipetitions:

(in part)

The Government of Canada is proceeding at breakneck pace to address unproven increases in instances of “Islamophobia” while calling for countering unsubstantiated charges of “systemic racism and religious discrimination”. This issue was originally tabled in Parliament in the form of a House of Commons “E” petition (e-411) by Thomas Mulcair, leader of the New Democratic Party of Canada. The petition called for the condemnation of “all forms of Islamophobia” and received UNANIMOUS consent by Canadian Members of Parliament on 26 October, 2016. This was followed in rapid-fire fashion by a second motion sponsored by Iqra Khalid, Member of Parliament from Mississauga Erin-Mills. The first initiative was progressed with little public input and scant interest displayed by the media at-large. The second motion was tabled on 01 December, 2016 and, incredibly, called for the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage to produce related findings and recommendations within 240 calendar days of the motion’s acceptance. It is anticipated that legislative remedies will be front and center in the Committee’s efforts.

PLEASE go to the source link and read the entire thing, and sign the petition and write the letters.

This is UN 16/18 in local form. It is demonstrable that the international Muslim leadership got Trudeau elected, the percentage of the islamic vote speaks loudly to that. Trudeau’s obligations to those who got him elected, namely to make sure criticism of Islam and its follower’s behaviour which is a direct result of the culture which Islam brings about, is forbidden.

This simply cannot be allowed in law, theory or practice. There are no rights without the right of free speech and free speech means the right of unfettered criticism of religious and political authority howsoever we choose. While this must apply no matter what the state of the truth of the criticism, it is even more imperative that the right to truthful criticism must be absolute.

Absolute.

So please look into this. UN 16/18 is something planned for every nation on Earth. Should Canada adopt this local variant, then your own country is that much closer to doing the same.

United Nations: the metamorphosis of woodlice

An original translation by Ava Lon with MUCH thanks!

From this French news site:

Obama will have succeeded one thing: make the UN obsolete.

Will the year 2017 mark the end of the “spring” and the return to the realpolitik of empires? To see the overactive panic of the globalist political class, one might believe just that. The narcissistic presidents Obama and Hollande, defeated by Trump’s victory which destroyed thirty years of globalist work, and above all terrified [Obama and Hollande] by the rapidity with which the latter put on the presidential shoes, are reduced to leaving their mark … post-mortem.

With one target: Benyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Trump. It would have been enough for Trump to announce his plan to transfer the American embassy to Jerusalem for a rabbit to jump out of the United Nations hat: resolution 2334, passed without an American veto, makes Israeli settlements outside the borders Of 1967 -before the Six-Day War- illegitimate.

And Bolton added: “Contrary to what Obama says, it is the end of the” two-state solution “… which basically cannot work” (Newsmax, 28 December).

Visceral reaction of the Jewish community … on Jerusalem. The eastern part of the city (known as the Jewish quarter) had been occupied by the Arab legion during the 1948 war, its population expelled. The “reconquest” of 1967 is now null and void.

And the fury of the Jews refers to President Obama, whom Bolton calls “denial of Jewish as much as American exceptionality.”

That’s not all. Obama and Holland are organizing, with 70 states (but without Israel), the Paris conference of January 15 (five days before the swearing-in of President Donald Trump) which, in Netanyahu’s opinion, is only a trick to get out a new broom-resolution that would supplement last week’s (2334) resolution to perpetually tie the hands of the new Trump administration. A first…

This last start, this metamorphosis of the losers, is above all an act of faith in the role of the “machins” in the world, those unelected luxury cartels which deify the concepts of “international community” at detriment of sovereignty … and peace.

Problem: Trump, Netanyahu, Putin, Farage, Orban, Erdo?an, Xi Jinping, Rohani, etc., multiply on the planet, managing their problems directly, without the viziers of globalism. And John Kerry will have to put his “Israeli-Palestinian solution” back in his pocket … and regret that the Ottoman Empire or the Persian Empire are no longer there to manage the puppet states of the Middle East, un-viable as much as un-livable.

Obama will have succeeded in one thing: making the UN insignificant. As for its cost: American taxpayers pay about $ 8 billion annually (about 23% of the total budget) for a piece of international cheese whose operating costs exceed 30% of those of an equivalent government bureaucracy (source: Fox News ).

It’s time Trump transforms the UN into luxury apartments …

[Editor: I think its time we introduced the word, “UNEXIT” to the popular lexicon. It should be said to sound like, “UNESCO” or “UNICEF. “You-Nex-it”. BREXIT happened, and so can UNEXIT. We just need to get used to the idea that it can.]

UN votes to make all Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria illegal

1, Obama admin fires scientist for actually using science in climate debate.

A top scientist at the Department of Energy was fired for not toeing the Obama administration’s line regarding climate science, a new congressional investigation found.

The report released by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, alleges that DOE officials withheld information from Congress and fired a top scientist at the agency all to advance the Obama administration’s climate agenda.

2. US ambassador to the UN trashes Israel during lead up to security council vote on Jews building homes where Muslims don’t want them to.

3. UN security counsel votes to approve resolution demanding an end to Jews building homes in Judea and Samaria, and making existing homes illegal. US abstains to make it pass.

The United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution urging an end to illegal Israeli settlements after the US refused to veto it.

The Egyptian-drafted resolution had been withdrawn after Israel asked Donald Trump to intervene but it was proposed again by Malaysia, New Zealand, Senegal and Venezuela.

The US has traditionally sheltered Israel from condemnatory resolutions.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said he would not abide by the vote.

The Palestinian leadership welcomed the resolution, which was passed by 14 votes to zero, with one abstention.

4. Stephen Harper tweets to Trump about the UN resolution.

5. This CBC article just reports facts and doesn’t act as a propagandist one way or the other. Here is a more typical example of CBC reporting when it comes to Israel. Prepare to be amazed on today’s however.

The Obama administration allowed the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution Friday demanding an end to Israeli settlements, defying pressure from U.S. president-elect Donald Trump as well as Israel and several U.S. senators who urged Washington to use its veto.

The resolution was put forward at the 15-member council for a vote on Friday by New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal a day after Egypt withdrew it under pressure from Israel and Trump.

Israel and Trump had called on the United States to veto the measure. It was adopted with 14 votes in favour, to a round of applause.

[…]

Parting shot by Obama

The U.S. abstention was seen as a parting shot by U.S. President Barack Obama, who has had an acrimonious relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and who has made settlements a major target of peace efforts that have proven ultimately futile.

(This must have been written by someone they are contractually obliged to publish)

6. Geert Wilders’ tweet:

Dear Jewish people. If you do not know by now who your friends and enemies are, I suggest changing your name right away.

Thank you Richard, M., Oz-Rita, Wrath of Khan, NorseRadish, ML., Ava Lon, Dan Friedman, Johnny U., and all who sent in links. There will be another post with items on other topics.

But it feels like this UN security council resolution deserves its own. Its hard to see this thing not resulting in a lot of dead people.

Norway: Religious Discrimination = Racism?

The story of Merete Hodne (the hairdresser in Norway who refused to serve the hajib-clad Malika Bayan in her hair salon last October) is just another example of the OIC’s wildly successful 10-year plan to implement a worldwide blasphemy ban.

We are all familiar with this story now. Bayan was turned away and promptly went to the police to file her complaint of religious discrimination. Hodne was found guilty this week and charged with a hefty fine, failure of which to pay could result in up to six months in prison.

While Norway had repealed its blasphemy laws in support of freedom of expression back in March of 2015, they enacted changes to the penal code (section 186) in October of that same year as follows: “A fine or imprisonment for up to six months may be imposed on commercial or similar activity that refuses a person goods or services because of the person’s: a) skin color or national or ethnic origin, b) religion or belief, c) gay orientation, or d) disability…”

The two items from this that are most relevant to the point are a) and b) and (for the purposes of this argument) these are the only two on which this article will focus.

In this, they are saying that religious discrimination is tantamount to racism. That refusing service to someone who declares with their attire that they support values that pose a threat to you and your freedom can be equated to, and carry the same punishment as, say perhaps a “White’s only” bathroom. This is absolutely ludicrous.

Ethnicity is not something about which we have a choice and is, in fact, part our DNA. It is not something that can be changed or controlled. Religion or belief, however, is a choice. In a free country, it can be changed at anytime, by anyone, for any reason whatsoever.

This may be a good time to point out, that the “victim” in the afore-mentioned case is Norwegian-born Charlotte Antonsen, pictured below:untitled

A 19-year-old, wayward Charlotte converted to Islam in 2011, at which point she changed her name to Malika Bayan, pictured at left. She only began wearing the Hijab in 2014.

While we are on the subject of Charlotte/Malika’s faith, it warrants pointing out that she, herself seems to be either misinterpreting or misrepresenting her religion-of-choice. Bannered across her Facebook page is a grossly-out-of-context Muhammad quote, “Whoever hurts a non-Muslim will not smell a whiff of paradise.”

Um…no. The exact quote is: “Whoever killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims, shall not smell the smell of Paradise though its smell is perceived from a distance of forty years.”

In 2015, the OSCE, of which both Canada and the United States are among the 57 participating states, held sessions that, under the guise of “promoting dialogue to prevent radicalization and violent extremism” seemed to be more focused on laying the groundwork to support the idea that merely telling the truth about horrific acts perpetrated by Islam should constitute hate speech.

Stephen Coughlin challenged (9:30) the panel by suggesting this would be “…confabulating a narrative and then deciding to impose it on people and designating people who don’t agree, as haters.” He followed with the question, “Once you decide that facts can be hate, what distinguishes this from just disinformation of the purist form?”

The panelist who responded was Leila Ghandi, a Journalist and Civil Society Activist. “I believe that truth…can constitute hate speech, because sometimes <truth> is difficult, horrible, in itself.” She continued with “…sometimes when you report on facts, and these facts point out a community then it can be a source of hateful speech.” She further explained that the media hiding the truth can sometimes be (and is) used as a way to “tackle” hate speech. (11:26)

This is nothing short of a revelation for the OIC. They merely wanted to (and succeeded, thanks to UN Resolution 16/18 and the CVE) implement a “Ten-Year Programme of Action to make defamation of Islam a crime in international forums and national jurisdictions throughout the world.” (See Stephen Coughlin’s paper Burning Down the house, page 23.)

The goal was to silence any expression that might be perceived to “fuel discrimination, extremism and misperception leading to polarization and fragmentation with dangerous unintended and unforeseen consequences”. To now suggest that good old fashioned, objective reporting is equivalent to defamation of Islam? Well done OIC.

The UN “Strongly deplores all acts of psychological and physical violence and assaults, and incitement thereto, against persons on the basis of their religion or belief…” Well, all acts except any that would be carried out against non-muslims; those are fine.

Merete Hodne, as a free woman, could argue that the hijab is a physical manifestation of discrimination against her own religious freedoms. It could be argued that by wearing it, Bayan was silently (but just as effectively) suggesting that Hodne is immodest, and an acceptable victim for would-be islamic rapists.

Hodne 3has been quoted many times in the last year as saying that she views the hijab as political and totalitarian. Yet she is being labeled as a racist and, with this recent ruling, is being forced to wear a virtual Scold’s Bridle.

We were recently granted an interview with Merete to hear her side.

Norwegian media recently did this short portrait of Merete.

Belgian police have concluded an investigation into a vicious anti-Semitic assault at a cafe in Brussels, in which a European Union official physically attacked a female co-worker, while verbally abusing her as a “dirty Jewess.”

The assault, in full view of other restaurant patrons, occurred on the patio of the “Italiano” cafe near European Union headquarters in the city, Haaretz reports.

A 50-year old Italian woman – a department head at the European Council – saw a man at the cafe holding a metal plaque engraved with “Mussolini” and praising the World War II-era Italian fascist leader.

3. German politician: Israel’s security fence is worse than communist Berlin Wall

woman

BERLIN — Israeli organizations slammed Uwe Kekeritz, a German Green Party MP, on Thursday for claiming that Israel’s security fence and border system to stop Palestinian terrorism is worse than the Berlin Wall.

In comparison with Israel’s security borders, “the Berlin Wall is a toy” said the Bavarian politician in a nearly four minute video posted on YouTube in August. He spoke at a reportedly anti-Israel June event sponsored by the German Protestant Church.

Efraim Zuroff, the chief Nazi hunter of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the director of its Jerusalem office, told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday, “It is obvious that Green MP Uwe Kekeritz learned nothing about the larger picture about Middle East politics and history during his visit to Israel.”

Saudi Arabia covets the presidency of the Council for Human Rights

An original translation by Oz-Rita with much thanks!

From TDG.Ch

Embarrassment among diplomats, fear and anger among NGOs. The Saudis want to chair the Council for Human Rights.

It all began with a rumor that has spread and reached the corridors of the Palais des Nations. Saudi Arabia covets the presidency of the Council for Human Rights impossible — unimaginable. However, this rumor is no longer a rumor. Faisal bin Hassan Trad, the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, in Geneva since January 2014, is indeed campaigning in the Asian group to be its candidate for the renewal, which will take place by the end of the year.

Currently, the Council is chaired by the German Joachim Ruecker, whose qualities and commitment are unanimously lauded. Before him, it was an African, the Gabonese Nganella Baudelaire, who was not well-remembered among the NGOs, who were frustrated by his year as president.

The rotation rule requires that the next president of the Council of Human Rights come from the Asian group comprised of thirteen countries (Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, China, UAE, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Maldives, Pakistan, Republic of Korea, Qatar and Vietnam). Faisal bin Hassan Trad has a very good chance, and the battle promises to be close. The Europeans will all try to dissuade members of the Asia Group from this choice, considered in advance as disastrous for the IMAGE of the Council for Human Rights. [emphasis added]

Arm-twisting by the Saudis

Saudi Arabia is twisting the arms of these other countries to be designated. If they succeed, it will be a disaster for the Council of Human Rights. “This could send us back to the worst times of the former commission who had sunk into disrepute,” says a Western diplomat on condition of anonymity. Two last links for Oct. 28 2014. USRWA works for Hamas, and an interview with an Islamic State recruiter.

1. UNRWA on SUN News:

2. “Democracy is Something for Unbelievers”

The following fascinating interview with a recruiter for the Islamic State was originally published by Der Spiegel and has been translated by Rembrandt Clancy.

You’ll notice that the interviewer is what is commonly referred to as a “moderate Muslim”. In his eagerness to find acceptable, humane parts of the Koran with which to confront his subject, he seems unaware that the Doctrine of Abrogation has rendered those verses irrelevant. The IS recruiter, in contrast, is fully versed in all the nuances of Islamic law.

Filipino force defied UN commander in Golan crisis

This is extraordinary. It is time for an open and hard analysis of the UN now. Imagine if they had surrendered to Islamic State terrorists or other related groups.

From the Times of Israel

Manila says it ordered its troops to fight back and escape, instead of surrendering to the Syrian Islamists as the UN wished

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Philippine military said Monday that a UN peacekeeping commander in the Golan Heights should be investigated for allegedly asking Filipino troops to surrender to Syrian rebels who had attacked and surrounded their camp.

Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang said he advised the 40 Filipino peacekeepers not to lay down their arms, and they defied the UN peacekeeping commander’s order. Instead, they staged a daring escape from the Golan camp over the weekend, ending a tense, dayslong standoff.
