Filipino force defied UN commander in Golan crisis

This is extraordinary. It is time for an open and hard analysis of the UN now. Imagine if they had surrendered to Islamic State terrorists or other related groups.

From the Times of Israel

Manila says it ordered its troops to fight back and escape, instead of surrendering to the Syrian Islamists as the UN wished

MANILA, Philippines (AP) — The Philippine military said Monday that a UN peacekeeping commander in the Golan Heights should be investigated for allegedly asking Filipino troops to surrender to Syrian rebels who had attacked and surrounded their camp.

Gen. Gregorio Pio Catapang said he advised the 40 Filipino peacekeepers not to lay down their arms, and they defied the UN peacekeeping commander’s order. Instead, they staged a daring escape from the Golan camp over the weekend, ending a tense, dayslong standoff.

UN watch addresses the UN on the Israel Gaza conflict.

Hey does anyone know what the UN resolution on the actual successful genocide of non-Muslims that was accomplished recently in the new state of The Tard Reich (AKA the Islamic State or, ‘The Caliphate’) by ISIL? Anyone? It must have been very harshly worded indeed!

United Nations planning to condemn Israel for the Gaza conflict, and Israel only.

United Nations Watch has obtained the document linked here which it hopes all of us will call the appropriate member of our own representative governments and demand that they vote: NO

Prince Zeid Ra’ad Zeid Al Hussein was officially appointed by the 193-Nation UN General Assembly to become the next United Nations human rights chief in Geneva.

“Prince Zeid’s work on sexual violence and his leadership on the international criminal court give a good foundation for this new role,” said Peggy Hicks [1], global advocacy director at Human Rights Watch.

Hicks continued: “As states in his region silence civil society and crush peaceful protests, the real test for Prince Zeid will be his willingness to stand up to abusive governments and speak out for those facing injustice and human rights violations worldwide.”

In his speech to the United Nations Al-Hussein said:

“I highly appreciate the confidence you are putting in me through nominating me to this position. Specially that I am going to be the first High Commissioner from the Asian Continent and from the Muslim and Arab Worlds. Needless to say, that this reflects the commitment of the international community towards this important dossier and this commitment to push it forward in this continent, as well as in other regions of the world.”

I suggest: If he started at his home country Jordan, Al Hussein would be busy for the next couple of years, since Jordan criminalizes speech that is critical of the king, government officials and institutions, Islam, as well as speech deemed defamatory to other persons.

Marriages between Muslim women and non-Muslims are not recognized. A non-Muslim mother forfeits her custodial rights after the child reaches seven years old.

Edinburg Votes to Join Texas, Accelerating Mexico Crisis

The Latest on the Mexican crisis, from Reuters:

EDINBURG, Mexico (Reuters) March 6, 2022 — Edinburg’s legislature voted to join Texas on Thursday and its Washington-backed government set a referendum within 10 days on the decision in a dramatic escalation of the crisis over Tamaulipas state in Mexico.

The Edinburg region of Texas — which was ceded to Mexico in 2016 by then-President Barack Obama to satisfy domestic political pressures — consists on the former counties of Webb, Zapata, Jim Hogg, Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron. The region is now part of Tamaulipas state.

The sudden acceleration of moves to bring Edinburg, which has an Anglo majority and has effectively been seized by Texan forces, formally under Austin’s rule came as UN leaders gathered for an emergency summit to find ways to pressure Texas to back down.

Russian President Vladimir Putin took steps to punish those involved in threatening the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Mexico, ordering the freezing of their Russian assets and a ban on travel into Russia.

The Russian Navy announced a guided-missile destroyer, the Archangel, was heading to the Gulf of Mexico in what it said was a long-planned training exercise and not a show of force.

The Edinburger legislature voted unanimously “to enter into the Republic of Texas with the rights of a citizen of the Republic of Texas”.

The vice-governor of Edinburg, home to Texas’ Gulf of Mexico military base in Port Isabel, said a referendum on the status would take place on March 16. He said all state property would be “nationalized”, the U.S. dollar could be adopted and Mexican troops would be treated as occupiers and be forced to surrender or leave.

The announcement, which diplomats said could not have been made without U.S. President Rand Paul’s approval, raised the stakes in the most serious east-west confrontation since the beginning of the Great Collapse.

UNESCO

Last night Vlad posted the following article about UNESCO stopping German archaeologists from rebuilding the famous Buddha statues in Afghanistan calling it nearly a “criminal” thing to do.

I for one am quite grateful to UNESCO for this. At last they tipped their hand, showing their real thoughts and central dogma instead of making up some amazingly flimsy excuse they feel Western people from a culture of reason and pluralism might swallow. Now, their actions as an agent for Islam and global Islamic manifest destiny is pretty much undeniable to anyone with the slightest bit of knowledge as to how the UN and the OIC work.

Shortly after posting that article, ML sent me a few more links on UNESCO:

1. UNESCO renames Rachel’s Tomb a mosque

Rachel is one of the four matriarchies in Judaism. Rachel’s’ tomb is considered very important to Judaism and is a very holy spot.

2. But its not just Rachel’s tomb. Its all Jewish sites

4. 2013: UNESCO passes six resolutions condemning Israel

Canada should really pull out of the UN. Even if it was not a staunch ally and friend of Israel, but because it must be a friend of reason, science and history.  It is past a joke now.

Unesco stops unauthorised reconstruction of Bamiyan Buddhas

If anyone has any lingering doubts about the UN being in the pocket of the OIC and Islamic concerns, this article should put them to rest.

Organisation says actions of German archaeologists who have partially rebuilt one of the statues “border on the criminal”

German archaeologists have rebuilt the lower appendages of the smaller statue

The international community has reacted furiously to news that a German-led team of archaeologists has been reconstructing the feet and legs of the smaller of the two Bamiyan Buddhas, the monumental Afghan sculptures blown up by the Taliban in 2001. News of this reconstruction, which has taken place without Unesco’s knowledge or permission, was revealed during the 12th meeting of Unesco’s Bamiyan working group, in Orvieto, Italy, in December.

A team of archaeologists from the German branch of Icomos (the International Council on Monuments and Sites), led by Michael Petzet, who himself served as the head of Icomos from 1999 to 2008, spent most of last year rebuilding the smaller Buddha’s lower appendages with iron rods, reinforced concrete and bricks, an operation that Francesco Bandarin, Unesco’s assistant director-general for culture, describes as “wrong on every level”. He says: “Unesco has nothing to do with this project. It was undertaken without the consent of the Afghan government and has now been stopped.”

I can’t imagine a more persuasive news item than this. That UNESCO believes that the Taliban ‘right’ to destroy ancient massive public world statues only because they represent an organizing principle and spiritual system other than Islam actually trumps people who wish to try and reconstruct these ancient and priceless artifacts at no public expense.

Grove City, PA –-(Ammoland.com)- The American armed forces are in a death spiral.

President Obama’s administration seems to be at war with its military leadership. In the past five years, Obama has sacked more senior officers than all other presidents combined. It wasn’t until the last 60 years that the United States was considered a top military power. Today, the American military is on the verge of becoming weaker than it was in 1939 when Hitler started his European rampage and Japan pushed its aggression into Asia.

France is ‘certain’ sarin gas was used in Syria; UN condemns ‘brutality’ of conflict

People flee fighting on a Syrian street on May 18. A new UN report cites systematic war crimes.

By John Newland, Staff Writer, NBC News
France said on Tuesday it was “certain” that the nerve agent sarin had been used in Syria, underlining a United Nations report that said the civil war had reached  “new levels of cruelty and brutality.”

Tests carried out on samples showed the gas had been used “several times in Syria in limited areas,” Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in a statement, according to Reuters.

The results of the tests have been handed to the UN, Fabius added – although details of the French claims were not immediately available. It was not clear which side had supposedly used the chemical weapon.

It came hours after a UN report said investigators had “reasonable grounds” to believe that limited amounts of chemical weapons had been used in Syria in a conflict where brutality was now a tactic of war.
