Former Archbishop of Canterbury channels 100 year old novel in his betrayal of Great Britain

‘British and Islamic values can go hand in hand’ says Dr Rowan Williams on visit to Lincolnshire

Some choice quotes from the article linked above:

Dr Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, was a special guest at an event at the Lincolnshire Showground that saw thousands gather for four days of debate about Islam. He told the crowds at Living Islam that Muslims have brought back “open, honest and difficult public discussion” as one of their “greatest gifts” to the UK.

At the Lincolnshire Showground, Lord Williams talked about British values and Islamic values and how the two are often reported as being at odds with each other.

Yet he blamed the media for much of this. “In Birmingham, we have seen a local parish and a mosque combining together to provide family services and youth activities,” Lord Williams said.

“It’s really important that we respect and try to understand diversity of conscience and belief and conviction.

“These are not just about what makes us British – they’re about what makes us human.”

He also criticised some sections of the media for portraying Muslims as “un-British”, and slammed the “illiteracy” about religion among Government figures.

Lord Williams said that he believed the most difficult thing facing British Muslims was the media’s emphasis on what made Muslims different.

“I think that Lincoln Cathedral is one of the greatest treasures of Western Europe.

“I have seen that there’s an academy in Scunthorpe that Muslims and Christians study at, St Lawrence Academy, and it’s a brilliant example of integration between different religions in Lincolnshire.”

The event, which was organised by the Islamic Society of Britain, attracted between 4,500 to 5,000 visitors throughout the four days.

Shamima Hossain, 44, who had travelled to the event with family from Norwich, said she had enjoyed Lord Williams’ speech.

“I think he’s amazing,” she said. “As a Muslim, it’s really pleasing to hear a Christian be so encompassing of all faiths.”

Now have a read of the first few chapters of G.K. Chesterton’s ‘The Flying Inn’

From chapter II written in 1914 where a British community leader tries to convince the rest of England that a debt is owed to Islam and that to give up things distinctly British because Islam forbids them can only be a good thing after all:

“. . . do we indeed owe nothing,” the diplomatist was saying “to that gesture of high refusal in which so many centuries ago the great Arabian mystic put the wine-cup from his lips? Do we owe nothing to the long vigil of a valiant race, the long fast by which they have testified against the venomous beauty of the Vine? Ours is an age when men come more and more to see that the creeds hold treasures for each other, that each religion has

a secret for its neighbour, that faith unto faith uttereth speech, and church unto church showeth knowledge. If it be true, and I claim again the indulgence of Oman Pasha when I say I think it is true, that we of the West have brought some light to Islam in the matter of the preciousness of peace and of civil order, may we not say

that Islam in answer shall give us peace in a thousand homes, and encourage us to cut down that curse that has done so much to thwart and madden the virtues of Western Christendom. Already in my own country the orgies that made horrible the nights of the noblest families are no more. Already the legislature takes more and more sweeping action to deliver the populace from the bondage of the all-destroying drug. Surely the prophet of Mecca is reaping his harvest; the cession of the disputed vineyards to the greatest of his champions is of all acts the most appropriate to this day; to this happy day that may yet deliver the East from the curse of war and the West from the curse of wine.

The gallant prince who meets us here at last, to offer an olive branch even more glorious than his sword, may well have our sympathy if he himself views the cession with some sentimental regret; but I have little doubt that he also will live to rejoice in it at last. And I would remind you that it is not the vine alone that has been the sign of the glory of the South. There is another sacred tree unstained by loose and violent memories, guiltless of the blood of Pentheus or of Orpheus and the broken lyre. We shall pass from this place in a little while as all things pass and perish:

“Far called, our navies melt away. On dune and headland sinks the fire, And all our pomp of yesterday Is one with Nineveh and Tyre.

“But so long as sun can shine and soil can nourish, happier men and women after us shall look on this lovely islet and it shall tell its own story; for they shall see these three holy olive trees lifted in everlasting benediction, over the humble spot out of which came the peace of the world.”

And so we see. A novelist 100 years ago this year saw the slingers of pernicious spin doctoring to try and sell Islam as a religion of peace and miscible with values that Islam was in fact, created to destroy utterly and then erase even its memory as being from ‘the time of ignorance’ [sic] before islam was founded.

And we hear it everywhere from cowards and opportunists that see a fast buck or some community position and temporary bureaucratic advantage by selling out not just their own people, but their own culture, their own history and ancestors and even reason itself.

The Vatican, the Imam, the three unapproved prayers and interfaith movement origins in general.

An interesting thing happened at the Vatican on June 8 of this year. The pope invited what sounds like the setup for a 70s joke, an imam, a rabbi and a priest, to come and each give prayers for peace in the Vatican rose garden.

When the imam got up to read his prepared materials, all of which had been submitted in advance for approval as had all the materials to be read by all, the imam read 3 verses of the koran which he had not submitted in advance as well as some free form thoughts of his own.

Gates of Vienna and this site have written a few posts on this, here and here and GoV here But the importance of the event should not be underestimated. The meaning of the 3 extra verses you are about to see with great attention to detail and with highly acclaimed and authoritative Islamic texts,  will be shown to be basically a direct insult to the Jews and Christians in attendance. The Vatican’s response was to write some pot-boiler sophistry to deflect the imam’s insult in order to not take away from the intended spirit of the event one would assume. But this event was broadcast live to the entire Islamic world and it is highly likely that a large percentage of muslims watching knew exactly what took place, not to mention a number of Christian and other minority groups living in Islamic lands, even if nearly no Westerners did.

This is not without importance and not without consequence.

Special thanks to Stephen Coughlin who worked patiently with me on this over several days of recording as well as assembling the materials referenced in his answers and explanations.

Below, the actual speech the imam gave subtitled. There is a minor error with the translation. Unbelievers should read, ‘Kufar’

Here is a related interview with Maj. Coughlin by Robert Spencer on interfaith in detail

Gates of Vienna post on the Vatican brief

A response to an absurd little imam in a privileged situation who faces no real adversity whatsoever.

The other day, someone burned three copies of the Islamic terror-text, the koran in front of a mosque in Dearborn Mi. A debate could go on endlessly about the wisdom, utility and decency of this act. But the imam who works at that mosque had this to say about the event:

““That’s terrorism,” Imam Husham Al-Husainy said about the Qurans, which were found burning outside the mosque this week. “This is hate. … Let’s pray for peace here and all around the world.”

Just to be perfectly clear here Al-Husainy, burning a few copies of a crappy book that pretty much says nothing other than inspiring violence, genocide and hatred is not terrorism.

This, Boko Haram stone & buried Chibok Girls to Death , is terrorism.

This, ISIS Leader: ‘See You in New York’ is terrorism.

This, Nigerian villagers ‘killed in Boko Haram church attack’ is terrorism.

This, We’ve Lost 750 Churches To Boko Haram Attacks – PFN is terrorism.

This, Gunmen kill nine in northeast Nigeria church attack is terrorism.

This, Hindu temple attacked, set on fire in Pakistan is terrorism.

This, report on Muslim forced prostitution of British girls in the UK is terrorism.

I could go on pasting till I had carpal-tunnel syndrome and not run out of genuine Islamic horror and terror and still just be dealing with the last 12 months Al-Husainy, and I don’t see you getting your ball-gown or turban in a twist over any one of those.

As for burning korans, that is what we call 1st amendment rights for those that have/had them. For the rest of us, I recommend carrying an honest translation of koran around in your coat pocket for the purpose of demonstrating to people you might run into socially how pretty much every single page of it contains instructions and even demands to hate, kill and commit real acts of violence, terror and even genocide against all non-muslims.

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.” Abu Huraira added: Allah’s Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

Vatican: Imam prays for victory over the disbelieving people

An original article by Carpe Diem with much thanks.

Last Sunday, Whitsunday if you like, Pope Francis hosted Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at a ‘Peace Gathering’ in Vatican City. Prayers from clerics of the three faiths had been planned to be part of the programme, as News.va, The Official Vatican Network, reported prior to the visit.

After he had seen the broadcast, Hamed Abdel-Samad, an Islam-critical political scientist and author who lives in Germany, wrote on Facebook:

“In the garden of the Vatican, the Muslim cleric finishes his prayer with the verse from the Quran: ‘May Allah give us victory over the disbelieving people’. This is what I call a prayer for peace.

Since Hamed Abdel-Samad speaks Arabic fluently, he had recognized that the Imam had quoted the last three verses from Sura 2.

On June 10, Bernd Hagenkord, head of the German section of Radio Vatican, published an article in which he contradicts the claim: “No, during the prayers for peace the Quran hasn’t been recited requesting to destroy the unbelievers. […] What a source of unbelievable stuff the internet is.”

In some way he couldn’t know better. Hagenkord attached all prayers (in English) that were handed in to his article. The Imam simply changed the programme.

When two readers put the translated verses into the comment section, Bernd Hagenkord answered: “Colleagues told us that the translation circulating the internet and this comment section is the harshest and not common at all.”

Not common at all?

Both translations were of the very same wording, so I had an Idea – and I was right. Both commentators had used the translation from the Central Council for Muslims in Germany

For the ones of you who speak Arabic, here is the video:

[Gates of Vienna has this article on this event as well.]

Calgary Herald following British tradition of serving patent fiction and disallowing any comment on it.

There is an op-ed at the Calgary Herald which is ludicrously untrue in terms of the nature and history of Islam and the motives for the now over and mis-reported slave raid by Boko Haram. So it should come as no surprise that the Herald saw fit to not have a comments section under it, as it certainly seems to for other articles. So I decided to add my comment about the Boko Haram article under one about impending pet restrictions.

Here is a link to the article about BH:

Here is a link to the pet restrictions article:

Below is the comment I left about the absurd opinion piece at the CH.

Please feel free to leave your comments here, I would quite like to read any anti or pro comments about this article.

(Before you read my comment below, its worth reading the article at the CH)

Since the Calgary Herald did not have the integrity to allow comments under the article by Sabahat Ali on Boko Haram called, ‘Antitehtical to Islam, i thought I would do the courtesy of leaving one here about it.

Islam was started by forced conversions. Even the famous letter by the Emperor of Persia responding to islamic armies giving the traditional 3 choices to that empire, convert, live as 2nd class citizens under Islamic rule or face war is mass forced conversion. Many European leaders during the various phases of jihad against Europe in the middle ages record the various forced conversions. Check out Janissaries for that matter. Thousands of young boys taken by force by islamic armies and made to conevrt to islam. Today in Iraq, Egypt and any other country ruled by Muslims where there is a significant population of non-muslims left, Christians and so on are being taken as slaves, forcibly converted and having all human rights removed.

As for the entire life of Mohamed as an example, I’m afraid Mr. Ali is confusing Mohamed with Jesus. Mohamed had a dozen ‘wives’ one as young as six. Hardly old enough to consent t a lifetime sexual commitment etc. and any number of women sex slaves taken as war booty so long as they were not muslims. In one famous case, Mohamed slaughtered a man and his son in front of the woman that was the wife and mother of these men, and then had a ceremony performed and ‘married’ her that night. Muslims sometimes use this as a dodge to claim islam is not antisemitic as the woman was Jewish.

I recommend that people do study the life of Mohamed. Knowing how he lived, and the fact that he is sold to believers as the perfect example for all mankind, allows one to understand perfectly what we see today world wide.

It seems to me that articles like this with no opportunity to respond is the first stage of blasphemy laws in Canada protecting Islam, and islam only.  And worse, not just on matters of belief, but on matters of historical fact and dogma.

Exposing one of the most common deceptions used by muslims. A comment reposted.

Very often when the horrors of Islam is pointed out as reflected in the actions of muslims, one of the many self appointed members of the Islamic community will pull out a verse of koran or two, surgically removed from its context in order to try and anesthetize the general non-muslim population back into a blissful slumber secure in the delusion that islam is peace and only looks out for everyone’s best interest. As everyone might define it for themselves of course, as opposed to Islam’s best interests, which would reflect the facts.

Yesterday, Bill Warner, one of the few non-muslim scholars of Islamic scripture willing to educate the rest of us, did a video on exactly this common quote yesterday along with a few other common ones often used for the same deceptive purposes.

In an article posted recently, a number of muslims decided to argue that the murder of children was something anyone might do and had no basis in Islam. A number of people pointed out how killing ones children and grandchildren was a near obligation if they had in any way rejected Islam or caused it to be seen in a bad light. As if somehow killing your kids would not I suppose. A poster calling herself, Shabnam Ahmadzada used this exact quote to try and detract from the cause of this horror.

Below, the response by C.B. Sashenka dealing with this all-too-common deception. I recommend that all read it and memorize the salient points. It neutralizes one of the very few intellectual ‘weapons’ muslims have.

No, Angola has not ‘banned Islam’. Well sort of…

There have been a lot of reports that Angola have banned islam, there is some evidence that they did in 2006 on the wiki pages, but no actual action, it really isn’t that simple as the daily maverick reports. I suggest we are falling into the islamist enabling media hands here, this tale being spun by muslims to claim victimhood by the well-practiced method of fabricating hate crimes and statistics. I want to get people to take a step back and another look at the evidence. For a start if you do a google image search of the toppled mosque all the press are using of what those nasty Angolans are up to, you’ll see the same pictures was used for years as false proof of attacks on muslims all over the globe. Here it’s the Buddhists that destroyed it (I could have believed that),

here it’s the Nigerian Christians (if only they would react like that),

and funny enough, here and from another angle this is from when the Joooz destroyed that very same mosque in Gaza in 2009.

observant muslims in UK expose themselves

Following the broadcast of the normally islamist and paedophile enabling BBC’s excellent documentary “Inside out” on muslim paedophile rape and slavery gangs targeting Sikh girls in the UK, and some excellent missionary work being done by Bhai Mohan Singh with the victims, this has proved to be quite an eye opener and has sparked debate.

2 days ago, a Dawah group, islamhounslow produced a video response on youtube

Various EDL divisions including the Sikh and Jewish rightly proceeded to rip the response apart as islamhounslow had used the typical spin we are used to seeing, here is a selection of the comments:

Their answer is, “it is not a part of islam”, and they “don’t need to say any more”. I call taqiyya, of course they are lying

koran 33:50 – “O Prophet! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those (slaves) whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee”

Not helped by their stinking imams teaching them that “uncovered meat” (our women) have no value, granted they do this to get their own women to cover up (hijab etc) but the effect intentional or not is that muslims are taught our women can be raped.

Only yesterday I posted a story about underage egyptian girls being sold for “temporary marriages” (38,000 every day), that is child prostitution, it is allowed in islamic countries and is sanctioned by the imams who carry out the “ceremonies” (we call that paedophile pimping).

This from last week, “In Kabul, trading women like cattle” the most “islamic place” after Saudi.

Also from the unholy koran 24:33. “do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, when they desire to keep chaste, in order to seek the frail good of this world’s life; and whoever compels them, then surely after their compulsion Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” If they compel a “slave girl” to become a prostitute, they can still go to heaven (How decent of allah).

Grooming these infidel girls to become prostitutes as these muslims do is slavery, sex slavery, unlike the classic paedophiles highlighted in the recent bbc and catholic church scandals, equally as abhorrent, but a very different crime, sanctioned by their religion and widely practiced legally in their islamic countries.

So they don’t even try to explain how it’s only muslim gangs raping our children? All he says is “if it’s true” and “it’s a problem with society” scumbag paedophile enablers doubting the facts and blaming the victims.

Not surprisingly similar comments started to build up directly on their youtube posting, so they blocked commenting, realising that they had exposed themselves, they pulled the original video response from youtube, luckily as you see here it is saved for prosperity.
