“Dans ses bagages, les douaniers qui l’ont interpellé ont aussi retrouvé une caméra portative, comme celle qu’avait utilisée Mohamed Merah pour filmer les massacres de Toulouse et de Montauban, un appareil photo numérique, ainsi qu’un drap portant une inscription de l’État islamique en Irak et au Levant, l’un des plus violents groupuscules djihadistes sévissant en Syrie. L’exploitation de l’appareil photo a permis aux enquêteurs de découvrir une vidéo : une voix off, sans doute celle de Nemmouche, revendique l’attentat du Musée juif de Bruxelles, qui a fait quatre victimes, le 24 mai. Il en était sorti en décembre 2012.”
En prison, il devient pieux:
“Comme Mohamed Merah, c’est derrière les barreaux qu’il s’est radicalisé, au contact d’un “directeur spirituel” qui l’aurait converti au djihad. Il était bien fiché par la DCRI (Direction Centrale du Renseignement Intérieur), ce bel organe créé par Manuel Valls pour éviter à tout prix une nouvelle affaire Merah. Mais la fiche ne fait pas tout apparemment, et Mehdi est libre de ses mouvements, personne ne le surveille, sans doute parce que des “braves garçons” comme lui, il y en a tellement qu’on ne sait plus où donner de la tête.
